Driver added 2 pounds to delivery to Strensham last night which is only 3 miles from Strensham - checked this morning and it should have been free according to website- nice food but rip off delivery

Visited this evening, food was delicious, service was great - all round a lovely experience. Just wish we lived closer so we could visit more often!

We had a takeaway this evening on our boat. Ordering was very pleasant and the service was great! The dishes we had were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING I would especially recommend the lamb vindaloo it was beautiful with plenty of meat and the flavours were out of this world delicious. The peshwari naan was freshly made and sooo good. Poppadoms were perfect too and all at an amazing price. We will be coming here again definitely every time we moor our boat nearby. Thanks to all at Thrishna for a beautiful meal - best Indian restaurant/takeaway we have ever had!

If there were more stars to give then this restaurant would certainly deserve them. Our meal was superb - very tasty and piping hot. The staff were very accommodating and polite. Highly recommended.

Lovely warm welcome and service. Some fantastic dishes on the menu. Try the Afansa - the best Indian dish I have eaten. Or lamb Joypuri. Which according to my husband was amazing too. We were on holiday in the area and so delighted to find such a great Indian restaurant that we booked to go again another night.

Having decided that we would like a curry or spicy meal we ventured to Thrishna's for the first time.Our only regret is that we did not go sooner and we will certainly return.We were met at the door and shown politely to our table and advised about the menu and guided through some choices.The food was very tasty with some lovely flavours without being too hot in a spicy sense.We were well attended to throughout our meal without being overloaded with visitors to our table.A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Amazing as always, fabulous tasty fresh food, attentive staff, Thrishna never fails to impress. The best restaurant in Worcestershire by a country mile and I have eaten at dozens. Do yourself a favour and visit, it really is worth it.

Best curries I have tasted in a long long time. Since we discovered Krishna, we have been back a few times and it is always consistently delicious and lots of flavour. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Service is prompt. Highly recommend

We went here last night while on holiday with friends. It was fantastic! We were given good advice when we asked about the spiciness of curries which was very welcome. The food came out fast and was very hot when it arrived at our table. The meal was amazing, as were the friendly, helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt valued as customers, even with a full restaurant. We booked our table and were glad we did, as it was so busy. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Trust me, this is one of the best curry restaurants we have ever eaten in. Just sensational. Excellent customer service also. We had a Tawa and we were still talking about it the next day it was that tasty. This is the place to eat a curry in Upton AND the surrounding area in Worcestershire.

Visited this fabulous Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant on a recent weekend away. We tried several dishes, all of which were amazing, full of flavour, and looked great. The staff especially Mr Miah were all really friendly and couldn’t do enough to help.This restaurant is definitely worth a visit if in the area , can’t wait to visit again

Had a fantastic takeaway this evening tika masala for me and chicken and mushroom balti for my partner delicious as usual and lots of it great friendly service too.

Fabulous Indian restaurant. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. We had king prawn balti, butter chicken and chicken tikka dansak and all were excellent with great depth of flavour and layers of fresh spices. Looking forward to return with my family. Highly recommended.

Tonight we had a takeaway from Thrishna. The food was cooked fresh to order and tasted amazing!The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service.We can’t recommend Thrishna highly enough. If you are visiting Upton upon Severn, this is the restaurant to put at the top of your ‘must eat at’ list!Thrishna Tikka Naan is fantastic!

Great start with very friendly staff. Food very salty which spoilt the meal, the main course came slowly one component at a time, waited an age for the rice so couldn't start our meal, finally arrived after asking multiple times, very frustrating. Won't be returning any time soon, and can't recommend. I am sure there are better options in Upton.

We were recommended this place and we were highly impressed! We eat alot of curry and this really is at the top of our curry pops!6 of us are with meat eaters, veggie and vegan. The comprehensive menu had lots of choices for all. Every dish we had has of very high quality and the tell sign for really high quality was the chicken.....soft, succulent and tasty!Highly recommend!

Went for the first time last night and I can honestly say it was one of the best we have had in years. We have been eating curry nearly every weekend for 20 years so know our curries. The food was full of flavour, tasty, plenty of it and presented well. The staff could not do enough for us and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be going back again.

We recently moved to the area from near Bradford, so have been searching for an Indian restaurant that rivals the food we’re used to eating in such a heavily Indian/Pakistani populated place. We have already tried another Indian nearby and thought it was a bit lacklustre. However, we were highly impressed with the food here! Really beautiful flavours, and felt far more authentic - not a typical “English curry”. We chose to eat some of the chef specials and they did not disappoint at all. Great portion sizes, great value for money, and really yummy. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We will 100% be returning!

Cannot recommend this restraunt highly enough , the service is great wether it its just a takeaway and they deliver or but I love a good sit down meal they will cater for all table sizes but the food is impeccable full of flavour and spice. You can request a dish or taste thats not on the menu . It's licensed saves dragging bags of booze in .Great restraunt

We were in Upton on holiday and weren’t sure which of the three Asian restaurants to try. We opted for Thrishna and we’re so glad because the food was absolutely lovely and we received great, friendly service.

The chicken tawa excellent with tender chicken and sumptuous favour. The Aloo potato texture just right - firm but not hard. Service friendly and engaging without being over-bearing. All-in-all: best Bangladesh restaurant for miles around and highly recommended!

Visiting the local area for work and came across the restaurant. Extremely good service, friendly atmosphere and a portion to fill the biggest of eaters.

A great curry at Thrishna last night and hospitality from Chondon Miah. Chicken Joypuri, Tarka Dhal, Brinjal Bhaji and Chapati. See photo. Tasty, nicely spiced. They will make it to whatever spice heat level youd like. Just ask. 5* from me!

Recently moved to the area, by far the best food and service I’ve experienced in years. Both takeaway food and in house service identical. Highly recommended.

First meal out for a very long time and we weren’t disappointed. We were so well looked after by all the staff who attended to every detail. (Including a gluten and dairy free diet). Our curries were delicious and we will definitely return. Thank you so much.

After weeks of lockdown and despite frequent takeaways it was great to be back again inside Thrishnas on 18th May this week .The food as always continues to be of a high quality with authentic fresh flavours.How nice to be able to experience the welcoming atmosphere and service once more whilst observing the covid guidelines.Highly recommend people to dine in and taste for yourselves.

Absolutely amazing food. We have a takeaway almost every week. Have gone through most things on the menu, my fav is the rahad green herb curry (lamb), absolutely superb. Recommend anyone goes here.

Top marks to Thrishna for making Christmas Day extra-special this year, despite Covid. They served up a mouth-watering Christmas Day lunch feast and went out of their way to make us (and our little girl, who is shy) feel welcome. Absolutely faultless. Thank you so much to all the team. So authentic and delicious. We’ve been ordering from Thrishna for the past year and we’re never disappointed. The Salmon Tikka is fantastic and the Duck tikka masala is so delicious. If you’re looking for authentic tastes, value for money and a full belly this is the Indian for you.

Fantastic Indian food, amazing range of Bangladeshi and Indian curries and many other dishes. Staff are extremely friendly and everyone receives a very warm welcome. Good value too. Can definitely vouch for the lamb chops, korma and Jaipuri, all very tastefully presented and great blend of spices. Nice clean restaurant, good atmosphere. Glad we chose this one during our half term break, if we come this way again, will definitely pop in there for a meal, in the meantime we all highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area or visiting like us!

Trishna is the restaurant that my daughter and I end our October holiday at each year. The restaurant is very clean and the menu is quite varied. The staff are very friendly and helpful if you need to know about the dishes. As always the food was excellent and the prices are very reasonable.If only more restaurants were like this.

Booked for a table on Thursday evening and although the restaurant was empty, thought nothing of it as it has a very good reputation.We were greeted by Miah, who was friendly and helpful. Covid rules and regs in place, including temperature testing, impressive for a small establishment.We were seated and Miah took care of us all evening, with drinks and food.We had prawn puri and poppadoms for starters, which were great and presentation was also good, unfortunately wasted on me with the puri as I dont eat nature.. Lots of dips and very tasty. I tried to order a lamb pasaanda for main and my significant other went for the chicken tikka massala. Miah, said I should try something else with a little more spice and flavour based on my starter, he assured me that if I didnt like it then he would replace with my original choice and not charge me any extra, well he was bang on and my lamb curry, of which if you can name for me in the comments as it was one of the best curries I'd ever had!Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.Also had a laugh with the size of the nan bread, see my elephant man impression attached

Went to Thrishna for takeaway and was pleased to be greeted with polite staff wearing facemasks and safety visors. I was sat safely away from dining customers and my order was promptly prepared. Staff were very attentive while I was waiting for my food. Highly reccommended!

Wow, Food is fantastic. I would highly recommend the Chaman Bahar (No.21 on the menu) for stater. Service is great, Chondon Miah makes time for customers making everyone feel very welcome. Highly recommended

We were greeted very warmly by the staff at Thrishna and they were very attentive throughout our meal. The owner helpfully recommended suitable dishes based on our preferences and the food didn't fail to disappoint. It was the best Indian meal I've had outside of India itself. The portions were very generous and we couldn't finish everything so we took the Naan bread with us to enjoy the next day! If ever I am in the area again, I will be sure to eat there.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant I have been to in this country the only one to beat it is in Maderia so unless you are going there you won’t do better than this.The Kahrai I had was superb and I have tried them in a lot of restaurants this one came out on top.Maurice

Fantastic spread of dishes to choose from.Starters superb, spices blended and balanced to perfection, mains likewise served freshly cooked and piping hot; one, the Joypuri, on a skillet was one of their highly recommended dishes. I, too, would highly recommend it. The garlic nan was light and fluffy, the best I’ve had for a long time, if ever...my praise goes on....This village of Upton has got a hidden gem of a restaurant in Thrishna - it is worth travelling a long distance for to savour. I only wish Yorkshire was not so far away, otherwise we would most definitely be regulars...Go - not negotiable - you will not be disappointed.

Had a wonderful family meal here! The stay were so welcoming and friendly, which is sometimes rare when taking small children to restaurants. They really went the extra mile to ensure we had the best experience, and of course the food itself was delicious!

We first came across Trishna when we were in the are house hunting 12 months ago. We have now moved and it's our favourite Indian restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious Miah and staff are really friendly and engaging and it's an all round fab experience, we've eaten in Indian restaurants around the Country, wouldn't go anywhere else in the area now.

In the area for a week and the family decided a good curry was in order. Our Air BnB suggested this restaurant and we were not disappointed. It was very quiet but the staff were attentive and great to chat with (one even coming from London originally like myself). The Methi Gosht was probably the best I’ve ever had and it came in a skillet. If we ever come back to the Malvern Hills, we will visit again.

Family birthday celebration in our garden for 13, Miah and his team pulled out all the stops from the expertly packaged starters and mains to ensuring it was piping hot on arrival. In the continuing challenging times we are so grateful for the fantastic effort to make our birthday meal amazing and would recommend Thrishnas highly for the superb customer service and selection, quality & presentation of their authentic dishes - just fabulous!

I have travelled a great deal in the UK for business and pleasure over too many years (I'm getting on a bit), and one of the cuisines I always seek out when I am away is a decent curry. Too many times I have looked on here and been disappointed afterwards by just plain bad food or indifferent service.But not this time. If you are in the area - just book and go - I highly recommend this excellent restaurant both for imaginative and well presented food and for 5 star service.

Just had a lovely meal I had an excellent lamb kari , really enjoyed it wife had a prawn dish and was very happy.

This is not quite the truth is it Emma, I was on delivery on the night, you did accidently get the wrong delivery. It was corrected within 7 minutes of calling the restaurant. You phone Meih who inline phoned me. I had only travelled to the village crossroads which it a maximum of 3 minutes’ drive from where you live, I turned around & bought the correct meal to you, I was instructed by Meih to bring the meal that was delivered wrong back to the restaurant as he was cooking fresh for the Castle Morton delivery, just in-case you had opened any of it, so fresh food was cooked for the other delivery, & another driver had already left with the freshly cooked food for the second delivery by the time I got back. & to say he doesn’t care is blatantly untrue!!!! How could your food go to another household within 7 minutes to Castle Morton. Not possible. If you didn’t eat it that was you choice. I strongly suggest you get your facts correct before going on the WWWThe delivery after you, had it freshly cooked because he certainly didn’t know what you had done to it. That’s why it was corrected in a perfectional & efficient manner. Please read the other 500+ reviews, You will never get better honest service from anyone as good as Thrisna’s

Lockdown was getting to me, so long since I'd had Thrishna's unique food, I just had to order a takeaway. Normaly prefer the restaurant and the service, but can't do with Covid-19 :-( I expected a takeaway to be less good tha a sit down meal, what a surprise it was spot on! On time too. well not quite, you miss the service and atmosphere, second to none.

Hi, I was craving post pregnancy chicken pakora's it most definitely hit the stop, they were absolutely mouth watering delicious! They definitely where worth the delivery.

Needed to want something to eat before we went to watch a film. To play safe i had Chicken tikka massalla it tasted amazing. The sauce was the best sauce i had tasted.

Keeping it short and sweet - the curry here is incredible. On top of that the service is so friendly you feel welcome and looked after throughout. Highly recommended.

As usual, we had a warm, friendly welcome at Thrishna and enjoyed a lovely meal. Thoroughly recommended.

The restaurant staff were very friendly, with large portions and delicious food. Even so, whenever my friend said something the order taker would suggest an alternative, which was mildly annoying to him. Staff also got our names wrong - although this isn't the end of the world. Overall, I wasn't used to the level of friendliness; perhaps it's because I'm from a big city. I would definitely return. It's convenient, the food is well packaged, and they allow split bills. They put in the right effort where it matters.

We ate in the restaurant last night and were greeted so warmly by all of the staff. Bobby introduced himself and was keen to make our night enjoyable. He recommended one of the specials and his recommendation was excellent. All of the food was delicious and the ambience too. We will definitely return and would fully recommend. It’s a real gem in Upton.

We have just had a wonderful meal at the Thrishna restaurant. The food is excellent ! I ordered a chicken jalfrezi but another curry was recommended instead and it was the nicest curry I have ever had ! The most important recommendation for this restaurant is the quality of the staff. You are made to feel so welcome and Chondon Miah spent some of his precious time talking to us and explaining all about the dishes and seasonings they use. The meals are excellent value for the prices and should we staying in Upton in the future it is definately the first restaurant we will head for. Give it a go - you won't be disappointed. We visited Trisha for the first time as we have just moved to the area. We’d had a couple of takeaways delivered and were very pleased. So we thought we would eat in on this occasion. We received a lovely welcome from Mhia and his team. The food was excellent and we have been eating Indian for at least thirty five years so feel quite the connoisseurs. We will definitely be visiting this lovely little gem of a restaurant regularly. Mhia recommended some house specials for us to try. Always lovely to try a restaurants favourites and to try something new. We weren’t disappointed!!

I've been coming to Thrisna's for 6 years and Miah and the staff never fail in providing fantastic food and a stellar service. The quality of the food is always high and I continually struggle to find better curry's when trying other curry houses. On top of that, you will always feel welcomed by the friendly staff whom are exceedingly accommodating.

Thrishna's is without a doubt the best curry house we have ever been to. It is so good that we are more than happy to make the trip across to Upton upon Seven rather than visit a local restaurant in Tewkesbury. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and they boast an extremely varied menu. Since we found Thrishna's we have eaten there many times, celebrated family occasions and used their take away option and we have never been disappointed. This is definitely the place to go whether you are a seasoned curry eater or just passing by. Once there, if you cannot decide what to have simply order the Chicken or Lamb Joypuri and not only will you not be disappointed, you will order it again and again. The flavour is amazing, the chunks of chicken are succulent and they will make it as hot as you fancy. This is one dish that you will order again guaranteed.
