Three Pots Cafe in Hinckley and Bosworth

Visit on 24th May 2023 to 3 Pots Pantry and was disappointed to be quite honest. I put a good review on the last time but this time not very good. Asked for a bacon and mushroom baguette which was only half filled and a cheese and onion baguette which I had at home and realised when I unwrapped it there was no onion in it and again half filled!! Very poor portions and expensive for what I had. Latte was nice though! Don't think il be coming back either!! Update 10th April 2024. Popped in again under new ownership, disappointed and not overly impressed! Thought it was expensive and have had better quality tbh so will give it a miss!!

Question: When does requesting a very small amount of salad cream (and the person serving me specifically wrote this down) mean that the cob is dripping in salad cream and not edible!!! Answer: When you get one specific person who works here it seems!!! Trying to avoid on the days she works.....

Disappointed as we wanted take away hot food (as it says on their menu) and they told us no hot food to take away possible so we asked baguettes one with tuna and one with smoked salmon and we got long soft roll instead of baguettes!

We have our work breakfasts most weeks for here, We love it. Great staff - great food.

Not sure what's happened to this place. The quality of food has dipped, and the new staff can't seem to get an order right. Missing ingredients or wrong sauce, it's always something. It's still ok, but we're starting to look for alternative places.

Staff are slow, meat is low quality and excessively covered in grease.

Parked the truck in the lay-by round the corner and googled somewhere to eat. This was the place I found. It was pretty busy when I got there but only took about 5 mins. Got a bacon, sausage and egg cob and it was nice. I’ll come again if I ever end up round here on my break.

Always been good food when I've been. Staff are friendly and always willing to make what you want within reason.

Called in for a quick bite to eat and opted for a bacon cob and americano coffee. A good sized cob with 3-4 pieces of bacon. It arrived very quickly and was a bit overdone, perhaps precooked, it was still good though. Coffee was piping hot and freshly made. Take away and eat-in available.

Had breakfast here as a two minute drive from the hotel we stayed at and much better value wife has a coughing fit and a lovely waitress brought her some water to help without being asked. Big pot of tea to share as well as newspapers (remember those) to read

I ordered a sausage and bacon sandwich and only had 1 sausage on it. The day previous I asked for brown sauce on a similar sandwich and they failed to put any on. My friend also asked for toast on one of the days and they received it burnt. Simple errors but to contestant in a short duration to say it’s not a common theme. Overall, a disappointment

Usually a nice little run Cafe where I've had excellent customer service in the past , However this Sunday morning i arrived just after 11:00am and waited patently behind two other customer's who got served and were wished a good day by the girl's serving them . This is the weird part as I moved forward both girl's went back in to the kitchen area and a older blonde lady took their position behind the service counter and was pretending to write some thing down not even looking at me or acknowledging me as a customer!! After about 20/30 seconds with nothing I left . Don't know what happened I didn't even speak just walked in to this Cafe and was ghosted...maybe its my heritage/ skin colour ? Drove a mile or so in to Hinckley town centre and picked up my order from the corner Cafe where they happy to see me and serve me.

Absolutely filthy, especially the toilet. Incompetent, slow staff. I couldn't touch the so called food. My skin crawled and I refused to eat, I told the staff o just got a lobotomised stare. They at no point tried to rectify their many errors, and had nothing to say about the sheer stinking state of the toilets.They couldn't even manage toast, or hot tea. Never returning it turned my stomach.. ps they delete their awful reviews too..I keep posting this.been going on 11month...I'm stubborn and in addition I don't want anyone to be poisoned or waste their money on pig swill

asked for warm bacon and chicken in a baguette with salad and mayo. third time now ive asked for WARM meat and i receive COLD meats. freezing cold. barely no salad. vowed to not waste my money anymore. will no longer be using

The sandwiches were lovely, really tasty. Food was freshly cooked and very quick. Staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

Went for a post parkrun breakfast and it didn't disappoint. Friendly service with a full vegetarian breakfast for £5.75. My only (minor) criticism would be that the hash browns and mushrooms were a little greasy.

Used to be my go to lunch venue whe i worked nearby, quality is still there, would always go back

Yeah pretty good to be fair... only complaints are it gets very busy and the bacon feels like it's been cooked ages in advance to your order.

For all the years I have lived in Burbage, never knew about this about this pantry. Found out about it and thought I would give it a go and I wasn't disappointed. Really nice breakfast cobs at reasonable prices.

Doesn't open at 7am. I waited round till 7:15. Still no signs of life

We had jacket potatoes with beans, cheese, and salad, I have to say this was probably the best jacket potato I've ever had. The potato was fluffy and cooked just right also the whole of it was just perfectly presented in the tray. Very very tasty would definitely be back here again!

We go here once every few months to sit down and enjoy the breakfast. They do the normal breakfast fayre that you would expect as well as eggs Benedict, eggs Florentine etc. It's well priced, the food is lovely and there staff friendly. The eating in part is not very big, but that use a building constraint. I wouldn't recommend the pantry for both sort down and takeaway food.

Always great food but 40 min wait today so we didn't eat which was disappointing.

Normally brilliant this week cobs was cold and the bacon wasn't well done like we asked ended up throwing my bacon away

Absolutely shocking!!! Breakfast came out, the egg nearly hatched, the bacon could of smashed the plate. Sausages like mush and soggy chips. When asked if everything was OK, I said "shocking" I got laughed at. Disgrace

Arrived today for some lunch to take away at 14:16. Soon as I walked in I was told straight away that they were closed, quite abruptly. Considering I have just checked the opening times it is apparent they open till 14:30. Was not like they ran out of food as there were sausage rolls on display covered over with paper. I don’t often work in Hinckley, but always on my visit I always popped in to get lunch and a cake etc. Shame, won’t be coming again, due to this experience!

Andy and his TEAM provide fantastic food and service depending on your 'needs' ... since 'Lockdown' they have expanded their 'menu' to include some FANTASTIC HOME MADE PIES ... these are to 'DIE FOR' ... my favourite is VENISON but I believe from Andy that the 'ALL TIME FAVOURITE' is 'STEAK & STILTON' I've yet to try this one ...

Just love this place. The variety of home & locally cooked pies & cakes are legendary! Visited today for sadly unavailable veggie samosas. Word has clearly got about! Parking's interesting but usually something available within limping distance. Would appreciate a little more staff awareness of dietary variations but that's by no means applicable in every case. More please!

Decided to call in here one Sunday for a cooked breakfast. There were only a few tables unoccupied & we chose one. The previous customers had only just left so the dirty pots were still on the table. These were quickly cleared away however. We both opted for the full english with one extra of Black pudding which was charged at 60p. The prices were very reasonable. The couple on the adjacent table to ours had fried bread with their breakfast which was not shown on the menu. My partner asked if they could have fried bread also which was not a problem. We did however have to wait a good 1/2 hour or so for our food to arrive. When it did arrive it was hot and of good quality. Would go again but bear in mind the wait.

Cheap and cheerful but won’t be going back. Friendly and polite staff. Food hygiene standards leave a lot to be desired, dirty cloths, milk wand on coffee machine not routinely cleaned between drinks. Breakfast ok for price of £4.25 and good selection but would rather have paid more for better quality sausages instead of cereal with low meat content.

My wife and I stopped in to grab a couple of cobs at lunch time. We’ve lived locally for 4 years and never been here. Can’t believe we haven’t as it was delicious.Good quality ingredients, chicken in the cob was excellent and it’s incredibly good value for money too.We are already planning a second visit, maybe for a full English next time as I’ve heard lots of good things about it. Highly recommended!

General cleaniless leaves a lot to be desired the cutlery were grimy the tea cup looked as if it needed a good clean. The food looked like microvawe heated up and even that not properly after having my food felt awful all afternoon, couldn't eat or drink anything followed by throwing up at night. Need a lot of work

Visited with grandchildren aged 5 - 11years and all enjoyed a lovely lunch in the cafe, lovely jacket potatoes and burgers.
