Really enjoyed a hearty breakfast here. I had the vegetarian option. Food was delicious, portions were generous, service was friendly, prices were reasonable. I look forward to trying more of the menu in the future!

This is not sponsored or an ad in any way, but: Absolutely cannot rate this place highly enough; went here with my parents for paninis for lunch and it was beautiful. I live down the road and manage a pub and took a chance on the "daily lamb roast" today and have shown photos of my absolutely incredible lunch to all of my regulars and they cannot believe the absolutely insane value for money and fantastic quality of the food delivered to me today. There was a HUGE portion of freshly roasted lamb, 5 different veg all perfectly cooked (cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, green beans and carrots), beautiful home made roast potatoes cooked to perfection and a homemade yorkie, not to mention the absolute VAT of gravy that came with it (the correct amount of gravy), also mint sauce but I'm not a fan personally. The food was absolutely class and probably the best roast I've ever had delivered, even though it was a Tuesday afternoon, I wasn't expecting a lot but for £9.99 it is absolutely worth double that, it's tided me over through my 13 hour bar shift and I will happily order this every week. Stunning. Please don't sleep on this place, their food is made with love and is proper PROPER homemade food and is a proper hidden gem in Surbiton. Cannot recommend this place enough. Can't wait to try other things on their menu ❤️

I've ordered breakfast from Three Peas in a Pod on two occasions before and it was great. Unfortunately, my experience today was pretty shocking. Firstly, all the toast was dotted with mould. Not just one or two pieces but all of them. The poached egg had a two inch hair on top & the sausages were burnt. Not overcooked, but burnt. It wasn't even fit to give to my dog. It all went in the bin. I'm wondering if there is new ownership or just a new cook? It is a sorry comparison to food I had from there in January.

This place is absolutely amazing. You get a nice warm welcome from Chantel and team, a traditional cafe experience which is lacking on the high street today and the most amazing home cooked food. 5 stars

Absolutely delicious homemade food and big portions. The ladies are lovely, and the place is very cute. The only downside for me is that sometimes it is a bit hard to fit in if someone else has a pram. Other than that, 5 stars well deserved 👌🏼😍

Had lunch, best pie and mash I’ve had in very long time, pies all home made. Comes with liquor but happy to swap to gravy. My better half had butter kippers with bubble and squeak and that was delicious as well. Pop in if you can get a table, you won’t regret it.

Popped in for a take away lunch yesterday, was really impressed by all the vegan dishes on offer for Veganuary. I ordered a chick'n gujon wrap, which was delicious, I also go to try the vegan lemon cake, which was fab. Looking forward to going back to try the vegan breakfast soon 😊

Delicious homemade food and fresh juices. I had the stew on a chilly afternoon and it was perfection.

Expensive menu said tradition pie and mash and liquor. Pie was short crust pastry mince beef not suet and minced lamb so pies taste nothing like traditional pie and mash and liquor weird taste definitely not liquor so dogs got it sorry they're other food maybe really nice just not pie and mash sorry and on just eat brownie £1.50 but my daughter was charged £2.50 take away so we'll be sticking with harringtons and lidl for brownies

Now I know what a falafel and humous wrap made with love tastes like! Michelle and Chantelle serve food with a friendly smile at this tucked away gem in Surbiton. Cosy and homely with a great lunchtime menu. We had wraps and freshly squeezed orange juice followed by coffee and tea and lots of lovely conversation with the owner and staff. This is a great place to make your regular lunchtime spot because you WILL get great customer service here. You won't be 'just another customer'. They'll remember you and connect and make you feel wanted. Please note there is no toilet on premises (although there's one around the corner at the local YCMCA) and the café closes at around 4pm.

Absolutely gorgeous food! The roast chicken dinner was succulent, mouthwatering and the service was exceptional. Will be back for more!

The pies are the best I've ever had❤️ .....it's truly delicious 😍 it was my second time here today n the food's quality didn't vary....just loved it, the staff are very warm and welcoming...the space is warm and cozy with cute decor, just love the Ambience❤️❤️❤️🥰

Surbiton is full of coffee shops and some franchise places for breakfast. You should go and pay a visit Three Peas in a Pod. This small place has great food and does very healthy breakfast!!!! It's not a grease spoon, it's a great and yet unknown place you should visit!!!! Nothing to envy to more popular places we all know!

Visited this place earlier today with my colleague. What a beautiful, warm, friendly cafe it was. The two ladies that's served us were very friendly and really took their time showing us the menu. The crusty roll I had was out of this world, warm fresh and simply tasty. I will definitely be coming back and I have told my colleagues about this little gem. Thank you once again.

Avoid. The service, even though very polite, was excruciatingly long and this wouldn't have been so bad if there was some sort of background entertainment to cover up the rumbling tums. Vegan breakfast was ok as fuel but poor if you have taste buds. Coffee wasn't good in any circumstance. And, I feel it was extremely over priced for what I got.

Great food, really high quality, you can tell its made with love & care. I can highly recommend the pie, mash and liquor 😋 it really is so tasty. I've grown up in East London, the home of pie n mash and this one is by far the best I've ever tasted. If eat it every day if I could. I need to try the roasts one day. Service is also very friendly and like a chat that makes your day better. Thank you x

Good price and very delicious home food.

The roast meat was overcooked and literally tasteless, the vegetables were stewed and watery! The portion was generous, but unfortunately was hard to eat due to the blandness. It really is a shame, as only ordered due to the reviews. Will go back to my usual, where as the beef is rare and nothing else is overcooked. Unfortunately I do not recommend 👎

These guys are not only very welcoming, I'm a London girl so the Pie Mash is fantastic, but the other food is also great too. The staff are absolutely amazing. I'm completely happy with these guys :-)

Delicious baguettes & very friendly

The pies are all home made and really delicious. Very big portions, lots of nice home-made classics, and very friendly atmosphere. Lovely little place.

I was intrigued by the pie & mash sign out front, and after passing by it a few times I decided to give it a go. Let me say, as somebody who comes from a long line of East Londoners this really surpassed my expectations! Delicious!The lady who runs the place (who is absolutely lovely might I add) seemed genuinely happy to see us and made sure our order was furnished with everything we might need, despite her being busy with a table of diners at the time.As a bonus, they also use very good quality, reusable take-away packaging. I've stored and reheated several meals in them since.Have since gone back and ordered pie & mash for the whole family, who were also pleased.I definitely recommend!

The food was exceptionally tasty! Love the Lamb roast!!! Its a must try in Surbiton. Lovely environment and staff. The overall experience was just simply wonderful.

Some of the best food in Surbiton

Heard a lot of good things about Three Peas in a Pod, arrived a little earlier than my friend, but got chatting to another customer and the owner (sorry didn't ask her name), ordered a cup of tea while I waited for my friend, which came in a big cup and saucer and separate jug of milk. We ordered pie, mash and parsley sauce (liquor) and we were not disappointed, lovely buttery pastry pies, and filled with delicious mince in a rich dark gravy, mash potato was perfect. Wish we had space for the apple pie and custard. Will be back again to try Sunday Roast.

Pie, mash and liquor for breakfast and it was perfect! Crunchy pastry as it should be on the delicious homemade pie. Can’t fault any of it. Lovely ladies too. Look forward to going there every time I visit my family in the area.

I stopped buy for a vegetarian breakfast which was by far the best one I'd had in a long time, coffee was great also. The rest of the menu also look very inticing and very well presented. The staff were extremely friendly this place is a little gem

Small in size but what a choice of food! Veggie/vegan options plus meat options galore! I had the cajun chicken jacket potatoe which was amazing and my gf had a bespoke veggie pannini! Will be back for sure - lovely place

Stopped for breakfast on a Saturday morning and I can't believe how amazing this little place was. The crockery was pleasantly unique and the quality of the food was outstanding. Would definitely come back again.

This place is lovely that Michelle got a lot going on I had a lovely steak and my girlfriend had a leg of lamb it was amazing and I would go back again soon it was quick service and clean as could be and the staff were friendly I’ll be back Sunday for Sunday lunch keep up the good work fellas

It's an amazing little coffee shop, the food was excellent many different options and vegetarian and vegan friendly! While I had a roast leg of lamb my friend had Avocado, Sun-dried Tomato & Mixed leaves and she said it was amazing and she's a very picky eater when it comes to her vegetarian options. The staff are super friendly as well :) 10/10 in my opinion I'll be coming here more often.

A lovely little cafe in the heart of Surbiton. There is plenty of cafes around Surbiton to choose from and we’ve tried many. This one has become a favourite due to its consistently good food and fantastic, friendly service. Highly recommend.Keep up the good work Michelle!H

Three Peas is an underestimated Surbiton gem. With so little space (it's pretty much full with a dozen souls inside), it has to offer quality and keen pricing. And it does.The breakfasts are excellent, and there are more and more veggie and vegan options at lunchtime - reflecting diners' desires.Michelle and her team bring home-cooking at its best to the town.Highly recommended, and infinitely better than the other breakfast and lunch options around.

I have lived opposite this little café for over a year and only had food from there for the first time today and it was THE BEST egg and bacon roll my son and I have ever had lol!! Fresh, hot and lovely! I will most definately be eating here from now on, friendly staff, lovely food, would most definately reccomend!

This small café/restaurant is like a secret place to eat a wonderful meal!Not in the high street with the chains, but along the Brighton Road, as you head towards the river. It looks like a takeaway, which it is, with an amazing choice of paninis, baguettes, etc. BUT, on the opposite wall is a small menu of hot meals. So, we went in last week and experienced one of the best roast dinners I have had in a long time... 5 different vegetables included in a full Roast Lamb meal. There was a seafood pasta choice and two vegetarian options too that day. The owner is very dedicated and the café has just 14 seats. This is what makes it unique. The main business may be takeaway, but to eat such a lovely hot meal at lunchtime, cooked fresh was really very good.

I loved this place under the old owners who made special effort to personalise sandwiches and had high level of hygiene. Went again recently after years to find someone who put toast on,then tidied things from the floor and coughed on her hand multiple times before going back to my sandwich without washing. Does she understand why people cover their mouths when coughing? Is it to make sure the germs all go on 1 sandwich? Disgusting

Great omelettes! Nice cappuccinos! Kids love the chicken panini. Too much salad dressing. Recommend salad dressing on the side.

Lovely place to go for breakfast or lunch or even dinner. They are now doing a vegan menu as well as vegetarian menu as well as lovely roast dinners. They are open 7 days a week.

The staff absolutely shine and are so welcoming and caring .The cafe is small and cheerful . Limited seating because of its size but we had no trouble getting a table . The seating might be limited but the menu is the opposite full and varied. My delicious English breakfast comes with a coffee included which is a really nice touch .It was spot on . We all enjoyed our meals and were all full and satisfied . We enjoyed a lovely coffee brought immediately but did not have to wait long whatsoever for our meals to arrive ,The staff are attentive and love making their diners happy and it shows.

What a good quality Cafe . Met by a patient young LADY called Michelle. Excellent service and then some seriously good food arrives after a short wait. Thick bacon, beautiful thick cut bread with butcher sausages. Lovely mushrooms and free range eggs. Overall the best cafe in Surbiton.

If you were put off three peas by a rude lady don’t be any more. Three peas has been taken over by a really sweat lady that makes amazing pie and mash.

Seeing the breakfast in our hotel costs an arm & a leg,we decided to venture out to get fed,& 3peas was just around the corner,we've never set foot in the place before,& we like the cosyness.we felt quite at home.we got our grub served quickly,& it was very tasty.i would recommend to anyone in surbiton who feels peckish.all in all very happy

I quite like Three Peas - it's a traditional cafe with a traditional counter, groaning under the weight of clutter.The service is friendly and personal; it could hardly be otherwise as there's little room for manoeuvre once you're in.Yes, it's a bit on the cramped side, and the opening of Wags N Tales across Brighton Road has made a dent in trade, but it serves good food, freshly made - and at the end of the day that's all you can really ask of a little neighbourhood cafe. There's a hefty step up into Three Peas, so mind how you enter if you don't want to make a pillock of yourself, or end up face-first in someone else's breakfast.

Super usual menu however as everything is made fresh to order you can be quite specific in your order. Very generous on sandwich fillings and reasonable pricing so does get busy and you tend to have to wait but it is worth it.

Haven't been for a while due to work but can recommend the food is nice and the people who run it are very welcoming. A great place for a spot of breakkie/lunch
