This pub serves the best food around, you can’t fault it. The portions are good and the service is always excellent. Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of choice.

Lovely pub which is very deceptively large inside. Food was very good and they paid extra attention to the allergies that one of our party had. Service was exceptional and lots of parking in the back. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back again. Booking is highly recommended as the place was very busy.

Having passed this place everyday on my way to work I decided to book it for our works night out. Inside is lovely and has a very cosy feel about it. We were seated in the Garden Room which was perfect for a party of 30. Service was impeccable and Lottie was very attentive all night, nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing and we were able to choose from a varied menu, everyone really enjoyed the evening and the prices were reasonable too. Definitely worth a visit.

This is the second year that we have taken our team for our Christmas 'do' and it didnt disappoint, food and service was excellent

Visited in Christmas Eve and for hubbie’s birthday. Lovely atmosphere and very attentive staff - special thanks to our server, Finn, who displayed exceptional customer service skills. Food was delicious: prawn and monkfish curry, liver and bacon, sea bass.. very tasty. Look forward to next visit.

We have been to the Three horse shoes more times than I can remember but it’s been a little while since I had left a review. Four of us had the three course Christmas meal (£35 pp) last weekend (10th December) and it was terrific. To be honest I have never been a fan of the 3HS roast dinners, but the meal was really good value for money in our opinion. We had a mix of the beef and turkey options and both were really very good, generous portions and vegetables replenished. The service as always was very good as well (they just seem to be very good at finding the right staff) and the place was buzzing, with not an empty table (which probably tells you all you need to know). Still in my opinion the place to beat in the local area relative to cost/service/consistency/quality.

Perfect place for a family lunch, food was excellent and staff were really efficient and so friendly. Could not fault it, food was presented perfectly, recommend the pan fried calves liver.

We all had the special which was the lamb. It arrived to the table and it was cold. Server room it back and it came back tepid . Lamb was very undercooked fare bordering blue and fat sinnew ran all the way though it so was unable to cut it with the steak knife. We explained this to the server and we got a free coffee. The main meals alone were 70.00. So we went home hungery disappointed and over £100.00 out of pocket. Discusting

6 of us went for lunch. The service, food and atmosphere was excellent. The staff took time to listen to us , even though the place was very very busy. A great time in a great pub. We stayed there for 5 hours! Will be back again soon. Thanks Sally & Friends

Stumbled upon an unexpected hidden gem during my recent exploration! The food here was truly fantastic, with each dish showcasing a delightful symphony of flavors that left me pleasantly surprised. What added to the charm of the evening was the incredibly friendly staff, whose warmth and hospitality enhanced the overall dining experience. I thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful evening and without a doubt will be returning in the future.

That’s more like it. After an evening at The Crown in St Margaret’s this Monday it was good to get back to the Three Horseshoes. There’s a reason this pub is always full and the Crown is now struggling. The reason is that the people who used to own the Crown sold it to Youngs Brewery and Youngs have subsequently ruined it. I’m so lucky that the Horseshoes was not sold also. Service was good, we all had the beef bourguignon and it was wonderful. Thank you - just stay open and don’t sell up, please.

Whilst visiting an elderly relative in a nearby care home we ventured into the lovely establishment hopeful to find a table as it was main time Sunday lunch. We were greeted by a very welcoming member of staff who was able to locate us a nicely located table. Our heads then turned to see loaded dishes of Sunday roasts passing us topped by huge Yorkshire Puddings - we didn’t need to see the menu after witnessing these sumptuous meals. We went straight for the Roast Beef for me and Roast Pork for my wife. Service was very busy but we did not have to wait long to have delivered to us very nice plates of food - accompanied by a pint of London Pride - Lovely I would like to add that all of the staff were helpful / happy / pleasant and professional without exception Thank you for such a nice experience

Beautiful food and great service in a pretty setting. All our mains were delicious - chicken schitznel with garlic butter and salad, fish and chips, crab salad. Really good wine list. Their service too is always spot on
