Absolutely amaizng food and fanstic service. I would highly reccomend this pub. We also enjoy the live music on Saturdays.

Great transformation from an old fashioned 'sticky carpet and drunks" pub to a lively local and eatery with a mix of locals and families as customers. Food menu looks good although not eaten her yet but has good reviews from people I've spoken to. Nice outdoor area and dog friendly.

Can’t beat the Shepherd Neam pubs, the oldest brewery in the U.K. sure know how to make a pub welcoming, good food and great choice of IPA, craft beer, ales. A transformation of the old Windsor Castle and a welcome edition to Carshalton.

After visiting a few times we thought we would try a nice Sunday roast for mothers day. From the moment we arrived we we're greeted with a warm welcome and asked if we had booked which we had. Our booking was at 2pm but we had arrived 30 minutes early but the staff made sure we were still shown straight to a table even though they were very busy. Menus were already on the table which was nicely decorated with flowers for mothers day. Our drinks order was taken almost straight away which we loved as normally when pubs and restaurants are busy you normally have to wait a while. We both had roast beef which was cooked to absolute perfection and all the sides were also very nice. The kids had sausages and mash and they all said it was nice and they ate it all. This place has undergone a huge renovation recently and it shows the staff are all extremely friendly especially Romi who served us whilst we were there we couldn't really pick out any faults the decor the atmosphere everything was very cosy and welcoming as a classic english pub should be. Literally another one of carshaltons little gems we are very fortunate to have plenty in our local area in carshalton. Well worth a visit for Sunday roasts and also an amazing pub in the summer having a large garden at the rear which regularly has barbecues and other functions. To all the staff keep doing what your doing your all amazing we will certainly be back. Definitely recommended.

Cannot fault the service service we received yesterday. Friendly, attentive staff, quick and efficient service and the food...well what can I say? Generous portions so really good value for money. I had the Roast Beef which was perfect with a great selection of veg and my brother had( in his words) the best Lamb he's had for ages, some places get it a bit wrong but not here. All round, a massive well done and would recommend to anyone.

Really lovely little pub. Stumbled upon it house hunting and it would make a lovely local. Gorgeous interiors looked newly done, definitely worth a visit!

Nice dog and people friendly pub! My husband and i had never been in this pub before. We have recently added a dog to the family. During our Sunday walk with her we passed the Windsor Castle and thought we would see if it was dog friendly. We were all made very welcome. A large jar of dog treats were on the bar which made our dog especially happy. We decided to stay for a Sunday roast which was very enjoyable. The roast lamb meals we had were good quality and well cooked. My husband had the crumble for pudding which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had some mince pie ice cream which really good as well. The staff were welcoming, friendly and seemed genuinely interested in making our experience as enjoyable as possible. We will definitely be back.

A buzzy, vibrant atmosphere in the Saturday evening I visited. Great selection of beers, and the live music later in the evening only added to the social vibe. Great evening. Will have to return to try the food and and do another live music evening.

Second time for a roast in the Windsor recently. Easily the best roast in Carshalton. Food is lovely and the service is perfect.

Pleasantly surprised food was great, and the interior was far better than expected.

Came to the Windsor castle for a 25th birthday in the function room. Was met with a very handsome Supervisor who helped set up the music very efficiently! Overall great cocktails which Will made for us and very good atmosphere with the band playing live music. Would recommend highly to anyone in the area!

It’s an excellent pub the food is really nice and presented neatly, the portion sizes are great considering the prices aren’t too high, they have a good selection of draft beers and ales too, the staff are all very nice and welcoming they made our experience very enjoyable

The service myself and my family received on our arrival was superb. The staff were very helpful in any queries we had concerning the food due to allergies. The customer service was above excellent and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning as a family very soon.

The time between Christmas and New Year is always the time pop out, support a local pub and let somebody else do the cooking. The food at the Windsor Castle was above a beyond - perfectly cooked haddock and chips (with the most scrumptious minted pea puree!) for my wife and good ole bangers and mash for me. Perfectly made and lump free mashed potatoes with yummy butter served with a perfect onion gravy. The only downside is the walk back home with such a full tummy! Thanks to the amazing team for making us feel so very welcome. Happy New Year to you all and see you again soon!

We were a party of 16 10 adults and 6 children We pre ordered from the normal menu and Christmas menu 7 days before Everyone had an amazing meal The Christmas dinner was incredible including perfect roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding .. freshly cooked vegetables piping hot Starters and desserts so good too There was a great atmosphere there too and we will definitely be returning very soon again Thank you everyone

We have eaten here a few times recently and are so thrilled to have a nice quality pub in walking distance. Staff are all really friendly and they are very welcoming with our dog too! We just had a big family Christmas meal here and everyone was commenting how good the roast was!

First time visiting pub. Staff were all welcoming and friendly. Good selection of drink, went for lunch and ordered vegan options, best vegan pub food I’ve had in a while and chips were super crunchie! Definitely will be revisiting soon!

Came for a Sunday dinner at about 7pm, all the Sunday roasts were still available despite being told by multiple people how busy the day had been there. We were not disappointed! Absolutely delicious roast dinners with huge portions and to top it off excellent service from the whole team who were smiling and happy . Will definitely be returning.

First class service and speed of process when ordering and receiving food, my partner went for the Sunday roast I opted for the Cauliflower, Spinach and Balti pie (Vegan) enhanced with roasted vegetables! Family friendly and vibrant atmosphere, I would highly recommend a visit, I would also encourage vegetarians to try the options. Food was amazing with an extensive selection of ales 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

We called in out of curiosity, having heard about the recent refurbishment and stayed for dinner. We were not disappointed! This pub, famous locally for beer and beer festivals has a new reason to visit- the refurbishment has been very nicely done, the food was excellent- huge portions and competitively priced. The beer (as expected) was in excellent condition too. Highly recommended.

Just nice traditional pub food at reasonable prices. The beef and ale pie was tasty.

We booked a last min table last night online, the refurb is lovely we were really impressed, the staff member serving the restaurant area was busy, but he always kept coming back to see if we needed anything, it was a really busy evening but you didn’t have to fight or wait long at the bar the staff were always looking to serve. Food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Food was a bit bland I had the ravioli, the ravioli was undercooked, the peas overcooked, the ‘charred ‘courgettes looked boiled, yet the sweet drop peppers were amazing. Apart from the food, the atmosphere and staff were amazing.

Really enjoying the newly refurbished Windsor Castle. Funny, but my wife and I used to walk past it and head to other, better, pubs in Carshalton (of which there are plenty) but the new decor and management have transformed it into a more pleasant venue. It's kind of a trendyish bar that has somehow retained a pub feel to it.

Had a lovely drink from the new Summer menu! Garden looks lovely with the new flower boxes! Lovely to hear the customers talk about how fabulous the new pub looks! Friendly welcome and service with a smile!

Went today and the make over is awesome. Had lunch and the food was brilliant, some good pubs in Carshalton but this will now be my local. Great beer garden too 👍

Saw this pub had recently been refurbed, and me and my friend went to go have a drink. Must say the courtyard is very cute and perfect for summer evening drinks. We had a portion of nachos and they were soo yummy! The staff were so lovely and welcoming, smiles all round, will defo be back and recommending to all my friends!

Have lived locally for many years and delighted to see the Windsor Castle get a new lease of life. The refresh gets top marks from me, the food we had on Sunday for Father's Day was exquisite and the ale well kept. Great mix of of punters, young and old. The new management and bar staff were very welcoming and friendly. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

The Windsor castle has just been done up. It has been tastefully renovated without too many changes, but the changes they have made seem to have given the pub a new fresher feel. The bar has been modernised nicely. I understand the food is fantastic here but we haven't eaten there yet. The bar staff are incredibly friendly and the service is spot on. We will be visiting there quite often as it is local to us. This is a dog friendly pub.

It's an OK pub used mainly by locals with a local vibe. Decent beer and ok food.

What a wonderful pub, sadly covered with scaffolding at the moment. Lovely decor inside with a range of comfortable seating throughout, including stools at the bar. The staff were very friendly and happy to chat as it wasn't overly busy when we were there. The pub has live music on Saturday nights and a Quiz Night every Tuesday. Outside has two areas to enjoy your visit: just outside the doors there are a number of picnic benches then around to your right and up some stairs there is a lovely grassed area with tables. There also seems to be a function room separate from the pub outside. Guinness was excellent as was the Long Man Best Bitter.

Complete refurbishment to an excellent standard, all staff polite, courteous and efficient, food was excellent and all family members were served simultaneously, will be visiting again for sure, highly recommended ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of the best pubs around. As soon as I entered I was welcomed by the lovely landlady who made us feel so welcome. We were only stopping in for a drink but the smells from the kitchen made us order food and it did not disappoint!! Would definitely come back again and again!!!

Shepherd Neame pub without any Shep Neame cask ale and the barman had no explanation. 3 guest beers were on. Pub was fairly empty.

Lovely little pub with a lovely garden. Staff are really friendly, beer is really good and very decently priced.

We hired the function room for a family party, staff were excellent catering was good value too. Definitely worth considering if you want a party venue for up to 50 people or so.

I used to drink in the Windsor all the timecwhen Dave Stott managed it in the 1990s. An extremely popular real ale pub then. Not quite so now, but holding its own. I went there with my uncle who was holidaying from Canada. He wanted to catch some local live music. Hmm. Good ales but only two of them. Nice atmosphere. Feels a bit like a locals' pub, which it sort of always has been. People who appeared to be customers kept walking behind the bar. There's a big garden and a covered stable yard long disused for good weather and smoking. A live band was playing various types of blues / rock which is a regular theme on Saturdays. No one was dancing though.

Lived in the Sutton area for more than 35 years and first time visiting this pub in all these years and I've got to say what a lovely traditional pub, friendly staff and very helpful in every way possible! to accommodate me and my wife with excellent service 😁

Was great, really friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, pub garden with small bouncy castle for little ones, clean. Only tiny negative was getting to it- careful crossing the road as no pedestrian lights.

Definitely not our first time there and nor will it be the last. The whole experience is great, Amy, Abby to name a couple, you're not just a member of the public, more like long lost friend or family. Absolutely love everything about it, wonderful staff, great food and enjoyable atmosphere.

A wake was held their for our neighbour. The buffet that was provided was excellent about 12 different dishes plenty of food and hot drinks for those who wanted it. Bar staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended, the menu for food looks very good and better quality than Pub Grub also very reasonable. Give it a try a good selection of beers as well
