The Wilson Street Pantry in Glasgow City

Great place for breakfast/brunch. I had the French toast with bacon, which was delicious. Service was good, great vibe. My only complaint is that they put too much ice in my apple juice, which isn’t a complaint more of a preference.

A great little find in this big city. A good brekkie is hard to find, but this unfussy, easy going place is a must. The coffee is mmmm, and the food we had tasted fresh and delicious, and for less than £15 each it was well worth the money. Please, please go visit this place and support a great little eatery. Loved it. Highly recommend.

Iced vanilla matcha: it’s the special drink on that day! It’s good and refreshing, highly recommended :) Wild mushroom florentine: amazing! Love this one. The special apricot cake is simply okay, strong almond feeling that I don’t quite like. It’s always really busy and noisy and not quite good service, but worth coming for their goods

Lovely cafe and lovely staff. They know their stuff about coeliacs and also cross contamination! We were asked if anyone was coeliacs then advised not to have the French toast due to how it is cooked.

Lovely spot! We walked in with a pram and we were lucky and able to get a table straight away on a Monday at 1pm. We ordered the veggie Benny and added hash browns and black pudding, it was amazing!! Friendly, quick, and attentive staff.

I really loved the food here. I got the special at the time. I thought it was great value for money and the staff were really welcoming and accomodating. I would absolutely go back in a heartbeat!

Food was insane, we had the special and everything tasted fresh. Would advise booking as it’s always full, inside can be a little noisy too, but that’s expected. Staff are super friendly and the service is surprisingly quick with how packed they are.

Food was fantastic, 9.00am reservation, got there 10 mins early on a very cold March morning, “sorry can’t come in, not open yet” was the response , standing out in the cold was not customer friendly and not the best start to the day, however my Eggs Benedict with Stornaway black pudding was simply delicious

I visited for breakfast at the recommendation of a local friend. The food was delicious in the open kitchen and the staff was friendly. All the food was delicious, especially the soup, which had the right thickness for dipping with sourdough!

Very beautiful place for brunch, which explains why it's always difficult to find a table. However, although the food is tasty the portions are quite small compared to other brunch places and you need to add from the extras to complete.

Really like the WSP for a breakfast or brunch. Bright clean and informal, it does a good selection of well prepared healthy, hearty and filling meals at reasonable prices. The poached eggs with chirizo, jalapeño salsa and sourdough toast this week was fabulous. For me the only downside is a lack of space when busy. The tables are very close together. However, well worth a visit.

My favorite place for brunch ever! I’ve been there at least 3 times a month 😂. Highly recommend the French Toast with berries and Egg Benny, black pudding, and bacon! It’s advisable to book a table in advance to avoid disappointment as they are always busy.

Food and service was great, but the salt and pepper containers are absolutely disgusting thankfully we did need to use them.

First time here after a Google of best breakfast in Glasgow. Absolutely right too, great service, the food was absolutely beautiful. The poached eggs are ridiculously good!!! Definitely be back, the barista is super cute too lol. 10/10

Can't understand the 1 star reviews. Service was great, food was INCREDIBLE (I would never have thought to pair slowcooked lamb with eggs Benedict, but it works!). We had pre-booked a table and they had made sure that a highchair was ready as requested.

Spacious, but gets busy as soon as they are open. Friendly, accommodating and attentive staff The place is warm. And I appreciate it when cafes don’t let their customers freeze. Coffee was just ok. Eggs with mushrooms and spinach - flavorful and eggs were perfectly poached. French toast - generous portion. it was good and I wouldn’t mind ordering it again. Few things to note : (1) it is not a brioche French toast. (2) it is thinly sliced. (3) as served it will be crispy from the out side and moist from the inside. (4) as it cooldown it becomes chewy and rubbery from the inside due to using egg white in the mixture, if they only use egg yolks it would’ve been less rubbery. But it does taste good overall.

Polished interiors, cool atmosphere, pinpointed music together with excellent food quality makes this place a gem we had the pleasure to discover. Staff was authentically kind and ready to help. We had a great brunch and we shall indeed be back.

Love the french toast from here, I get it every time and the coffees are lovely as well! Staff are always super nice! If you know when you want to go I'd defo book a table to avoid disappointment. Dogs are welcome as well which is great.

Great service with some lovely staff. Coffee was very good. Food was fine, quite acceptable if the menu is a little limited. The portion of gluten free bread was a single slice and too small and I left stinking of cooking smells. And not in a good way.

Cracking spot for brunch - great food, great coffee, great service. We came with our 2-year-old and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to us.

The nicest staff ever, very patient and they are all in for the customers. I also asked them to charge my phone and they happily did. They also had non-dairy milk! The service was absolutely fantastic and the food in respect to size and taste was wonderful too! I’ll go back when I visit Glasgow again for sure!! :)

Forgot to leave a review last time I was here. Odd time as it was jus post covid and SCO still had masks in place. I forgot mine but there was no fuss. Staff and food were outstanding. Return visit, little has changed. Still amazing staff and food. Not a huge cafe, so don't expect to be seated. It's very popular.

I walked into this establishment and was warmly greeted by a member of staff and was shown to a table. I sat down and looked over the menu which has a good choice of food and drink, ranging from french toast to small trey bakes. I ordered the French toast with maple syrup and bacon. Within ten minutes my order arrived, I took my first bite and I was blown away. The French toast was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I finished my meal and the staff swiftly came over to come and clear up. I payed and left. I am very satisfied with my visit here and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for breakfast in Glasgow.

My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to brunch in an early trip into town, and made a wise decision. The service was excellent and the food matched it. I had Scrambled Egg (which was some of the best I've ever had) and sausage on sourdough toast. My wife had french toast and bacon, which looked brilliant. We went on a Wednesday morning and it was busy, definitely worth booking. A word too for the coffee which was excellent as well

Delightful cafe. Good service from friendly and attentive waiting staff. The food was visually pleasing, tasty, and filling. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable with some good music in the background.

Really nice place with friendly staff and superb food. Only real downside is how popular it is. Make sure you book, and know that they will keep you to your table time.

The service was fantastic, coffee was beautiful and the food was exceptional. Lots of varied options to cater for different cravings. Hard to choose from all the different options, in the end we went for the granola with fig compote and Greek yoghurt, and then the sausage and chilli jam eggs on muffins (with added black pudding and hash browns). Dreamy.

This place was amazing!!! They’re usually pretty busy, but there’s definitely a reason for it. I visited Glasgow for 4 days and was so impressed I came back 4 times. The service was top notch, the food was beyond incredible, the mascarpone with the scones was next level, and the menu changes frequently to keep it fresh. I can’t speak highly enough about this place!!

Recently visited for the first time for brunch. Hadn’t heard of this place before, but decided to book a table after seeing the reviews online. Delighted we did because the food and coffee were excellent, service with a smile and can’t recall it being overly expensive. Will definitely be back!

Came through a couple weeks ago with my partner and our friend, called ahead and managed to sneak in a brunch reservation. The staff were so lovely and stopped to chat and make you feel welcome even though you could see that they were rushing around. The food hit the spot perfectly, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we had to take our pasties home for a wee snack later in the day. Cannot wait to stop by again and see what new specials they have on.

Traveled in from the US, and found this spot via a reddit thread. 100% worth it. I'm not an eggs Benedict fan (though they looked high quality), so I tried the French toast with bacon. It was incredible, I ate every bite and regretted nothing. The coffee was awesome too. It's not a big spot, but when I went in at ~9 on Saturday morning I was able to get in. I noticed not long after that there was a wait for most coming in. The staff here was amazing as well. I actually left my bag and one of the servers ran around the corner to catch me and return it to me. Can't thank her enough, plus a testament to great people running the joint. Lastly, the music and atmosphere promoted a good vibe. Had a hip feel and cool people seemed to be eating there, though plenty of elderly folks who clearly just knew it was a solid spot to get food.

We tried to book online and were unable due to being fully booked. We then stubbled across the cafe whilst on a walk and were fortunate to be able to get a walk in table. The coffee and food were delicious however I don't think I will return. The staff were incredibly pushy in asking us to order - we had just been shown to the table and my partner went to the toilet. Whilst he was away, I was asked three times what I wanted to order. As I hadn't been there before, this wasn't a choice I could make without looking at the menu or my partner having had chance to look! This continued until we ordered, within 5 minutes of being seated (I know because I timed it). Our coffees then arrived with our food - egg benedict and a banana cake - so not quickly. The waitress also tried to take my plate when I hadn't finished eating twice!! I get that you are busy and what you are offering is delicious, well presented and would make me come back BUT the experience wasn't relaxing or enjoyable as I felt harassed to leave from the moment we arrived. I actually ordered a second coffee but it never arrived, I assume because we had overstayed the turning time on the table and so they wanted us out! Such a shame. I also saw the same experience happening to the tables around us so it wasn't a one off.

A great cup of coffee and a reasonably priced and delicious meal. We travelled with a group of 8 and it can be tricky in Scotland to find places to seat a group that size. That was no problem here. Staff was very nice, and everyone enjoyed what they had from pastry to bagels.
