Best German restaurant and German experience I've had in the United States. They have all the traditional German foods along with a massive selection of beers filled in a proper side mug. The staff is in full German garb and periodically sing and dance. Everyone should give this place a shot.

This place is my positivity absolutely favorite place. I can never have a bad time here. From the food to the beer to the live entertainment. GEMÜTLICHKEIT HAPPENS HERE!

I always wondered why it’s very busy all the time. There’s music going on inside of the restaurant. And people are doing interesting shots(4 people at a time?). Outside seating is quiet. But kinda crammed in small area to accommodate more people. Food was good. Service was good. I had a martini which I liked. I would love to come back in winter to have mulled wine.

Love this place. Really holds true to the German beer hall aesthetic (good fun with random strangers). Excellent food. My only complaint is that they never seem to have Warsteiner. Surprisingly, it's never been that hard to find parking despite how busy the area is

Long wait for a table, very crowded, but worth the wait 😄 Station in Wutzburg Germany brought memories and food tastes from there. Great food, service and entertainment. Will be back soon

Just go already. The food is amazing, most of it is surprisingly sweet. Like the potatoes, but sooo good.

First German restaurant I've ever been too. It was so entertaining. The food was great, the service was great and the entertainment was so enjoyable.

I was stationed in Germany, and this German restaurant was spot on. Everything about it was very reminiscent of Germany. I absolutely loved it. After dinner, Do yourselves a favor, for dessert, order the Black Forrest cake. .

While on the military, we were station in Germany 3 times and enjoyed their food. Unfortunately after retirement we haven't been able to find an authentic German restaurant that is until we visited Hollerbach. We just loved the food, the atmosphere and the service was amazing. I recommend Hollerbach's German Restaurant to anyone.

This was my first time ever eating food and dining in at Holler! The experience was so incredible. Our bartender/server Patrick was great, he gave amazing customer service and made sure my boyfriend and I were taken care of. We ordered the pretzel, lunch Wiener schnitzel, spaetzel, bread basket. I ordered the variation of the Wienerschnitzel with the Jager topping and it was super crispy and juicy as well as perfectly seasoned. Everything we tried was delicious and I will definitely be back. I can’t wait to try other dishes and explore the store when we come back.

Amazing experience! It was our first time dining here and eating German food, recommended by a friend, and we were not disappointed. Patrick was our server/bartender and he was great! He helped me decide on which beer to drink and even gave samples during our meal to try out. The food was also delicious, we had the pretzel, bread basket, spaetzel, and pork Wiener schnitzel. The Wiener schnitzel was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and juicy! We will definitely be back when we get more time and explore their shop as well! 10/10 would recommend

I’ve never been to Germany but this restaurant creates a whole adventure once you step inside. I absolutely love the unique foods presented on a newspaper menu and wait stuff costumes are amazing! So authentic!!! Everyone I met was very friendly and helpful! Christina does such a great job making sure the restaurant runs smoothly. Highly recommend this place! Perfect for a family night and/or date night! I brought my in-laws here as well as my family from Ukraine 🇺🇦 and everybody loved it!

We (party of 2) came in on a fairly slow/empty evening And after being seated we waited over 15 minutes for our server to come. And after she took our order we never saw her again until she brought her check. (Not even to refill our waters). I had to approach another employee about getting the check because we were tired of waiting for her to come back around. We visit and eat in downtown Sanford every week and the service was so off-putting that we'll probably never visit again.

My favorite restaurant in the greater Orlando Metropolitan area. I'm from Germany. They cook excellent German food and more! 🍻 The wait staff is amazing, many know my name, and I even bring my German friends here. 🥰

Food, entertainment, atmosphere, all great!_

Our waitress was very attentive. We had stopped in for coffee and cake while enjoying special weekend Sanford Shenanigans. The rum cake was excellent and a plain cup of coffee was delicious, good ending to our Saturday adventure.

The manager, Hunter, and the hostess, Madison, were both so lovely and accommodating when I asked if the Restaurant also had the same gluten-free treats as the Hollerbach bakery/corner store (right after it closed for the day). I expected they would say those items weren’t available until it opened again, but the manager got them for me!

Waited for an hour to be seated, as soon as I got the text went in to get seated and I was told that we needed to leave in 1 hour that the food will be served quickly .In 7 minutes we got our food I order a schnitzal and it was cold and soggy the only thing warm was the mushroom sauce. Unbelievable we dont need to put up with that kind of service. Will be takiing my business elsewhere.

This place has authentic German atmosphere and a ton of comfortable seating inside and outside (covered). There is also a small tavern attached to their corner. The food is fresh and delicious and they have a fabulous variety of classic Bavarian dishes. You can even go to their deli and take home the best bacon anywhere !

It's just too damn loud inside w the music and outside is bland. A little of the music is a fun touch but for an hour plus gets obnoxious. Food to me is one-dimensional representative of German food. Real German food goes far beyond fried foods and greasy sausage. There's much more diversity to be had elsewhere.

Excellent Reuben and fries, $15. Like the mango peach tea too. $35 for two. Good value

Food took a long time (about 50 min) but it was good. It was very very busy. Music was a bit too loud for me.

We were here on a Sunday and they had live music. Food, service and ambiance is superb.

If you want the genuine German taste, don't order the Käsespätzle or the cucumber salad. Both are very bland. Schnitzels and sausages are good.

Today was St. Patrick's day,so I ordered the Corned Beef and Cabbage. It was a large portion and tender,but way too salty. The Black Forest Cake made up for it!

First time here .. took the train from Kissimmee, what a great treat . Next trip we're going to try the Bee sting cake ..

Great meal, great service, great fun. No reservations on the weekends, but the wait was not too bad, and you can spend time in the German deli or gift shop. Authentic German food and music on the weekends.

We had good food, good atmosphere, good service. Had schitzel, pork shank, beer, potatoes, cabbage. Doubt you can go wrong with any dish here.

If you're craving German food...this is it! Extensive menu. 5 different sizes of beer mugs. 2 are das boot glasses. I like German Reisling wine, and the Munich Mule. Great beer selection, both light and dark. Food is hearty and delicious. Might be too heavy during hot summer months. We had Eisbein, bone-in pork shank with Heaven and Earth potatoes, Berliner Schnitzel, and Jager Schnitzel. Our server was great even though it was very busy. Too full for dessert but they offer 6 different cakes and apple strudel. Highly recommend. Will visit again.

Service was kinda iffy they sent me to bar next door even when I told her I wanted to sit at a table , so I went and waited at a table for about 15 minutes they kept making eye contact with me but no one was ever sent someone over so I went back to the main area and told her , so she seated me in the main area even after saying something about the wait, it still took them time to decide who was going to wait on me when he came I ordered right away the food was ok I had the pork schnitzel it tasted like frozen store , you could tell it was not tender from a beating the German potato salad lacked punch / flavor might as well been out of a can. Then it took them a while to bring the check even after picking up my plate . I made trip to the bath and it still wasn't there maybe the regular cook was off . I won't be going back

You can’t beat this place for great German food. Service is always fast and friendly, food is the best and the atmosphere is always fun

One of my favorite German restaurants in the U.S. The four of us shared a King’s Feast (I think that was the name) platter and loved it. Their Old Fashioned cocktail was flavored with schnapps and it was a nice variation to traditional OF cocktails.

Based on reviews, we thought we'd stop in after dropping our guests off at the airport. We had potato pancakes which were served cold. Our platters were also cold. The service is terribly slow. We won't be back.

Smoked pork chops were the bomb! Salmon dish was as well! Can say I have never had a bad meal love y'all's food always! Sauerbraten was outstanding.

It’s lunch. I’m seated in the lounge. I order a bread basket, mini-Eisbeins, Kleines Wiener Schnitzel, and wine. The bartender was also the server. So service went out the window when he got busy. My meal finally arrived after 25+ minutes. The bread ($5.79) was cool to the touch instead of being warm or hot. The Schnitzel (Lunch menu $14.99) was slightly larger than a credit card. The Mini Eisbeins ($11.59) were not standouts hard to cut into it. The wine was enjoyable. Also, a male running dishes into the lounge from the kitchen was sneezing and coughing constantly. During a run both his hands were full and he sneezed on the sandwiches. I reported all the above to a manager when I left. I’ve enjoyed past visits. I was disappointed during this visit. But there’s enough variety on the menu to entice me to come back and explore some more.

Fun place, live german music on weekends, great service, food was pretty good. Definitely worth trying this place if you want something different.

If you are looking for good food AND a good time, you have to go to Hollerbachs. Jenny and I planned to try a new place nearby, but we said we know what we get here! I am one to try a different item each time. The eisbeins were perfect!!! Served with potatoes and sauerkraut. Jenny had the Jager Schnitzel, her favorite.

Ate dinner here last night and it was amazing as was our server Rose and the entertainers with the German folk music. Wish I lived in the area to be able to enjoy it again.

What a great lunch we had today at Hollerbach's! We went for our anniversary and had great service and great food. Rose was a blast, very fun and had great food recommendations. She also, like many of her coworkers, were dressed in traditional German clothing - very much appreciated considering it didn't look entirely comfortable. Great GLUTEN FREE wiener schnitzel, mettwurst (the best wurst I've ever had!), Cajun wurst, sauerkraut, red cabbage, German potato salad, cucumber salad, fresh, hot GLUTEN FREE bread and delicious cheese spread! Also many thanks to Hunter for coming out to help us celebrate our anniversary - our GLUTEN FREE carrott cupcake was also delicious (and I'm not even a sweets guy!) So glad we chose Hollerbach's!

Hollerbachs restaurant in Sanford exceeded my expectations as an Okterbfester from La Crosse, Wisconsin. The food was superb, the service was exceptional, and the entertainment was incredibly enjoyable. I highly recommend this place and checking out their stores.

Overall this is a great restaurant. 1st floor bar area will not disappoint. The 2nd floor however is not consistent with what we expected from visits past. We will stick to the main floor in the future.

We used to come here back in the day when it was a small local restaurant and not the hub bub it has become with tourists and transplants. I only mention this because I believe it gives the restaurant an excuse to dumb down the quality they were known for before. My last visit, the food was tasteless, very overpriced, and according to local Germans, misses the mark. A better option would be to visit the deli behind, also owned by the same group. The sandwiches are good enough. Or, visit the German club who makes fresh meals and has live music with dancing often, in Casselberry.

Should be 5 stars, but the service was a bit off for that to happen unfortunately. The atmosphere was excellent, food was amazing and diverse. Beer was spot on and overall a great experience, just had to call for the waitress a lot after she hounded us as soon as we sat down for an order. Definitely recommend, just be aware of the one short coming.

A fun, friendly, lively and authentic German restaurant. My favorite place to eat and make merry when I'm in Sanford, Florida. Try to make it when they have love music on, but still recommended highly even with they don't.

Food was good and portion size was big as one would expect. Service was very slow and the A/C was not keeping up with the heat. Good atmosphere but fairly dated interior. We preferred the bar over the restaurant. Visited again this weekend. Food was better than last time and service was a huge improvement. The Beer was excellent as well as the Apple strudel. I had a three sausage meal and all three were excellent! Much better experience the second time

The food is very good and they have good prices, the attention of the staff is happy and they make you feel special, I recommend it.

Very tasty, authentic food. I particularly enjoyed the sauerbraten and the beer cake. We were there on a Monday, so unfortunately without live music. That would certainly have added some good to the ambience. The large dining room seemed a little cool. But we all had a good time and will definitely come back. Then perhaps with the appropriate entertainment factor.

Stopped in for lunch and got the Vegetarian Spätzle Toss. The flavor was incredible and I've been dreaming about it ever since. 🤤

I am German and the food was much better than I expected.

I was there on a Saturday and while the waitress was AMAZING and the food was AMAZING, the volume of the entertainment was inexcusably loud! No one could talk because the music was SO LOUD, it made communicating impossible! It was not the content of the music, it was the VOLUME that made our visit just awful. By the time I left, my head was pounding with an oncoming migraine. So...make sure to go when there is NO BAND PLAYING!

Always amazing food! Great service! I highly recommend any of their schnitzles (champion art or the bacon, egg, cheese are my faves), the pretzel with beer cheese, & the heaven on earth potatoes are oh so delicious! The potato pancakes are also very yummy as well as the kase (cheese) spatzle.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere and delicious and authentic food. Had the veal jaeger schnitzel which was fantastic. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was packed. The live band really tied it all together. Will definitely eat here again.

Service was great.. Atmosphere was to me creating an outdoor but inside with the long tables and lacking decor. Food was well priced and tasted good. BUT both our plates the meats were not hot, (just warm). I do not regret going , I have done the tourist thing now.

Myself and my family have been coming to Hollerbach’s for at least 20 years. We’ve watched this place grow from a tiny establishment to large scale. The food here used to be amazing. The past few times we’ve been here, everything has been subpar. Potato pancakes and pretzel were cold and hard and the pork chops tasted more like sliced bologna. I feel that the food is no longer made fresh to order but rather they have popular items, such as potato pancakes, premade and sitting in the window. In my opinion, this place has become more of an entertainment venue and food quality has definitely suffered. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

If you’re a general lover of food, then you will definitely enjoy the authentic German cuisine and ambiance at Hollerbach’s. During peak dinner hours it will be busy, but they still do a pretty decent job of taking your name and getting you a table asap. We always sit outside with our little dog. And I’ve probably tried half the menu and never been disappointed. Their authentic and fresh German beers are always delicious as well. You won’t be disappointed.

This is my second visit, and the meal was just as yummy as the first time. I ordered the Wienerschnitzel, sauerkraut, and German potatoes. The schnitzel was cooked perfectly, sauerkraut had small pieces of bacon, and the potato salad was nice and tangy. (My mouth is watering thinking of it!) This place is as close to authentic as you will find in the States.
