Love it here. Chicken Sashlik, lamb chops, chicken Karai and the mixed grill. Every bit was excellently cooked. Service impeccable and relaxed after with coffees etc in the lounge without being pestered. Thoroughly enjoyable evening once again. My favourite Indian bar far. Gail

Right. Well, what a superb dining experience me and t'other half had here on Sat 14th Jan. Really, really great food and service. Up there with the best Indians I've had. Flavours sublime. Really tender chicken & lamb tikka and although I eat a lot of curries I'm not a big fan of lamb tikka but wow. This was tasty. Infact, the whole meal was bang on. The only thing to have a little whinge about was that my jalfrezi wasn't very spicy despite me asking them to make it extra hot. It was still lovely but I'm a spice freak. We are already planning on going back and i'll get vindaloo next time. The fact that the place was filling up fast at 1830 on a dismal, murky, January night says it all. Well happy and cannot wait to go back. Roy. Update 28/2/23- been 4 times now and had 4 different main meals. Went on Saturday 25th Feb and had vindaloo. Amazing. The flavours!! My new fave indian restaurant ever, and that is saying something guys. Update- Feb 24'. Been a lot of times now haha and this is consistently good. Never leave not having enjoyed the meal & service.

First visit to the restaurant with my family of five for an 18th birthday today, quite busy for a Wednesday evening after Xmas. Surroundings, ambience and food excellent but an observation is the courteous and helpfulness of staff a pleasure to experience in these times

Came here for a mask with a large group of people. The food was excellent, and the portions were very generous. One of the servers was rather rude and blunt during the service due to being confused by the pre-order. Overall though it was a really pleasant experience

Attentive but not overbearing service. I had the Tandoori Mixed Grill will pilau rice and a bhuna sauce. Generous portions and sublime flavours. Recommended.

My first visit to Whitecroft was very good. We were greeted as soon as we entered. All the waiters were attentive and friendly throughout our meal. My starter of king prawn puri was beautiful, I really enjoyed it. Possibly one of the best I've had to date. The mix starter went down well also. I opted for a lamb tikka balti madras for my main and we got all the sides of rice, chips and garlic naan. The curry was good but quite standard, it wasn't very spicy but it was nice. However, it wasn't a curry that I'd remember or would stand out. I feel the same regarding the naan bread, lovely and soft but I prefer a bit more garlic. I will definitely revisit and try something different for my main. Overall a good evening and I do look forward to returning.

Made serving a party of 40 look easy! The restaurant was very busy besides us so all credit to them. Loved the food too of course. Actually, they went above and beyond.

The service is great. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is great. The food was well prepared and well presented. It is a bit over priced compared to other Indian restaurants I have been to. Menu seems a bit limited, in my opinion.

Passively rude staff, very loud noise level, table next to us, very rowdy loud and using vapes !!! The food was very mediocre and when the bill arrived, was widely over the amount spent. The bill had to be disputed and correct amount, finally paid. Will never go there again. Not recommend 😕!!

I was here on Friday night. I've just sat down to calculate my order, as I've never spent as much at an Indian. It turns out that I had been overcharged, unless it's £9.50 for a pint of Carlsberg. The food was delicious but not worth the price that I paid. It's a shame, as I'd have come back but I won't do now, out of principle.

Struggle to find a fault with this place, one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. The food, from the poppadoms to the curries to the mixed grills and garlic naan are delicious, the mains are full of flavour, especially the chicken kalia, 'turkish delight' and garlic masala dishes which were incredible. Staff are friendly and attentive, and it has a nice atmosphere overall. Convenient location close to Rossendale and Blackburn with a good size car park. Have enjoyed every visit to this place and will definitely be back

Me and my father had a 3 course meal and the food was beautiful. Everything was cooked to perfection, tasted amazing and Riaz, our waiter, is a real credit to the establishment.

An amazing meal to cheer up a rainy evening in Blackburn. The selection of dishes on a very reasonable special was great and the waiter Riyadh helped me select a really tasty hot and spicy dish to accompany the starter. Now a must for my visits to Blackburn!!

1st time visiting here from seeing someone mention it on facebook. So glad we tried somewhere new. The best Indian restaurant we've been too. The quality of food was amazing, service was fast and the staff where very friendly especially Riad. Price was very reasonable too. Can't fault it. 10/10 🙌

I've reviewed this restaurant in the past but I thought I would do another up to date one. The food is absolutely beautiful and the guys who run the service are superb and help you with any questions or advice that's needed. The food itself is super tasty and perfect amount of spice for myself and my family. The only shame is that there is no delivery service but in fairness the service is so good its worth driving there for. Great food Great service Great banter Great drinks choice Also, special note - Rihaad is a credit to front of house service, really sociable and makes time to come over and chat. Best Indian restaurant in the area no question.

Came on a Wednesday evening and it was nice and quiet. I really like how couples get to sit in the little booths, unlike other resteraunts that have small tables for 2 that have to usually sit in the tables that feel wedged in somewhere. Poppadoms really good, chutney tray was disappointing though, as the red sauce was runny. Starters really good, curry very good and the naan bread was very good. Overall good place, not too pricey and would return.

We hadn’t been to The Whitecroft for some time so thought we would go there for tea. Surprised when we drove into the car park as there was only one other car and on entering we were the only people in the restaurant, in fact when we left over an hour later we were still the only people there. The welcome was friendly and we were shown to a table, as I was driving I requested sparkling water but they didn’t have any. We ordered starters, king prawn puri and onion bhaji’s, they came pretty quick and were hot. Main courses next, my wife had chicken tikka dhanchak, my so Anil Bhakti and I had the Whitecroft Tawa with boiled and pilau rice and naan bread and tandoori roti. All the main dishes had oil floating on top, the dhanchak wasn’t too bad but Emmy wife said it didn’t taste of much, my tawa was supposed to be in a “dry” sauce, it was anything but with a very oily surface and the lamb tikka was chewy but the anil bhaji was the worst with a considerable amount of oil on the surface. The tandoori roti was undercooked in places. Whilst the service was friendly at no time did anyone ask if everything was OK except when we had finished and I commented that it was very oily. Very disappointed as we have had some very good meals there in the past.

Went last night for my sons 18th, and I'm so glad we did. From start to finish it was a fantastic experience. I had the VIP experience-3 courses for £18, prawn puri, lamb banglore and peshwari naan, absolutely delicious. The place is spotless, the staff were kind and humorous, the food was delicious (12 of us and everyone said how delicious it was). They went out of their way to make it nice. Came here with my friends for iftaar on our yearly iftaar outing, popadoms were nice with the chutney tray, i really liked the red sauce everywhere else its usually spicy but im not a big fan of spice, yours was sweet with a slight kick to it which was perfect, the mix grill was very nice although the lamb chops were quite chewy rather than meaty that could be somewhere to improve on for next time we come down, the keema naans were lovely one of the best i had in a while, food was lovely, staff were very friendly, the only few things i can say that could do with improving is the drinking glasses were a bit dirty so we didn't use them, the toilets were quite unclean like they hadn't been cleaned in a while, and the last one is there was only 1 staff on the floor which i understand as it was iftaar time so they were off eating and breaking their fast so i happy and respect that as we was doing the same. But we needed some drinks and had been sat there for a good 10/15 minutes waiting for staff member to finish speaking to a regular customer, we tried getting his attention many times but failed so had to stop eating our food as we badly needed a drink haha, but other than that was a good experience will be back in future inshallah, hopefully these teething issues will be fixed next time. By far the best Indian restaurant in the North West. I've been dining at Indian restaurants for over 30 years and been to many award winning restaurants, including restaurants high in the Good Indian Restaurant guide. I rate the Highcroft in the top 3 restaurants I've ever been to and eat here once a week now I've found it. Strongly recommend, do your taste buds a favour and come here.

My first time here, we will definitely be going back again 100%. The food was out of this world. Cooked to perfection. The waiter informed me that the chef had made my food hot, and he had automatically remade it. The level of service was 10/10. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. Very reasonably priced. We explained that the wife's mother is allergic to garlic and wants to come next time. We were told that wouldn't be a problem at all, and the chef would make a fresh dish, taking garlic out of the equation altogether.

To say I was disappointed was an understatement I booked for 13 adults and 4 children for a 60 th birthday we was placed in two seperate areas so I complained and after a lot of debate we was eventually moved to a different room where we could all sit together there was no effort made whatsoever ever considering it was a birthday , I have been here on many an occasion and have really enjoyed it and so have my guests , we was told you could only have a vip menu for 9 people ? Even though there was 17 of us , We was overly charged by a sum of 25 pounds which on this day and age is a lot and I had a lot of disappointed guests I will not be using this restaurant again
