The White Horse in Harrow

Always love the food. The cheese selection is amazing, the pies are divine and recently I tried the liver with bacon and polished the whole thing off. The service is friendly and attentive. The pub is dog friendly. They have a nice garden for the summer and a nice fireplace for the winter.

Had the fish and chips, food was brilliant highly recommended it staff were super friendly I would definitely come back.

We enjoyed a great some excellent home made pies from a good choice, lovely warm welcoming Pub on a cold night with good freindly service.

Busy, vibrant pub/restaurant, food looked amazing, but we were there for just drinks, dog friendly, but some dogs were on the extendable leads not a good thing in a restaurant.

I had nut roast. But, the food wasn't really great. Potato roast wasn't done very well and was quite big. The sauce was too bland and had no taste. Wasn't worth the money. Won't be going again.

The staff here are lovely but I had a nut roast and it was so dry I almost choked! And the portion was tiny for what it cost with only two small roasties. Be warned veggies/vegans.

We loved the food and the place. The hostess was very friendly. Calves liver main course was deleterious and the vegetables were cooked perfect. Made a reservation to take a friend out already.

It’s was a wonderful evening and staff were so friendly and smily too. The best thing is that it’s was dog friendly and we could take our dog there. Food was delicious and tasty. Would definitely come again!

The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. The wines are also a great selection. The French chef delivers a great selection, especially on their French night every Thursday. They also do a lovely Jazz night once a month.

Hosted my wife’s birthday party at the venue, Frederick was very accommodating and looked after the party in a very professional manner. Would like to thank Frederick and his team for all there efforts in ensuring my wife’s party ran smoothly. Plus they do a really good roast. Will be visiting the venue again soon.

Was surprised to find a really good roast dinner in Harrow - a proper home-cooked style of roast, loads on the plate, really nice Malbec too. Bravo. Do give it a try.

An authentic pub experience with amazing food and great atmosphere. The stuff is great, and it’s always cosy. I recommend their full menu, but specially their Sunday Roast.

Surprisingly good food! I had the pie and chips and was pleasantly surprised. It was a great pie for a quiet little pub. The only downside was that we got a parking ticket for a very badly signposted parking restriction but that's not the pubs fault!

I've visited the White Horse four times in recent months. On each occasion the food has been delicious, the service excellent (thank you Monsieur) and good value for money. On two visits I've eaten outside - a real pleasure. The menu varies and pie night options are exceptionally good.

One of the best pubs in the area. An amazing atmosphere, great location and great staff. One to return for sure, the food is equally as nice.

Went to the White Horse for the first time in a while. Pub has had a refurbish in particular the rear garden which has new tasteful decking and tables. The food was excellent and the service great. Was nice to see Timothy Taylor's Landlord available .

We were looking for somewhere to eat on arrival in Harrow. We fell on the White Swan. The service was absolutely fabulous. The bar staff couldn’t do enough to please us. Menu choice was fantastic. The pink gin and lemonade was to die for. If we are ever in Harrow we will definitely eat there again.

This pub and restaurant are slightly different from the standards. It's quite small with a back beer garden but with nice service. Food is slightly on the higher price, but my crusted salmon was absolutely lovely - I'll be definitely back there to try more...

One of the only few pubs in this area that hasn’t been taken over by EmberInns and has quality food. Food is excellent as always. Different type of crowd compared to The Preston or BlackHorse. The owners take care of their pub and maintained their quality over the years. Would highly recommend - an interesting variety of food on the menu for all. Vegetarian options are also good.

One of the best Sunday roast in harrow. You must not miss the sri-lankan spiced chicken/king prawn salad. Absolutely delicious. To top it off the staff is very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Anna.

Being a very hot Sunday no one fancied cooking over a hot stove. We decided to go to this place and let me tell you we was not disappointed. I had a Sunday Roast lamb dinner as well as my sister and my mum had the fish and chips. Portions are very good and value for money. Will definitely visit again and the staff were just as friendly.

Been here a few times now. By far the best food in the local area. Really friendly service too. The main menu changes occasionally but is always complimented by a specials menu too. If you’re looking for a traditional pub experience this is the place....

Pie night from Mon to Wed. The best venison pie I've ever had. Many pie menu from beef, chicken, pork, venison and vegetables. Big garden area. Perfect place to have beer in summer time.

The dreaded nut roast! A symbol from a bygone era when vegetarians were seen as awkward third wheels in a country of meat lovers. To be fair the nut roast was better than expected and not dry! This is a long standing pub with a homely feel. The staff were friendly and attentive and the portion size of the Sunday roast was generous. The sticky toffee pudding and tea rounded off the meal perfectly. This establishment is dog friendly and a perfect place to chat with friends on a cold British day.

I love the feeling and ambience of this pub - chill out zone to the left, a little more tranquil to the right. The new decor is especially tasteful! The vibe & mix of well mannered, respectful clientele this pub attracts has kept me a loyal customer for many years. I’ve seen several changes to management, some more disappointing than others. Sitting by the fireside with my wife having dined on a sumptuous Steak & (London Pride) Ale pie, Medium Steak with pepper sauce for the missus), starters were Scallops, all beautifuly cooked & presented. Lovely ambiance and staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hidden jem to anyone who likes a nice pub atmosphere & fine dining at a very reasonable price.

First time visit to this place and it was a very pleasant experience. First up parking isn’t available on site, but is possible both on street to the front and also to the rear. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, greeting all patrons on arrival and were really engaging and enthusiastic as well as being quick to provide orders and service. We were a small group of 8 and all ordered food and drinks. The food was brought out promptly, together and hot! One order was incorrect and the staff were very apologetic and preempted solutions to the problem and definitely went out of their way to put right the situation. Plenty of space and seating at the venue with lots of sections in the pub for dining, quiet interaction but also an open bar area. Prices are certainly on the strong side, however the service is very good and would recommend!!

Excellent Pub that has had a recent refurbishment. Food is lovely and the staff really go out of their way to make sure you have a lovely experience. Regularly go there with my dog and they are all very pleasant. Toilets are quite clean too which is a plus. However, prices for food are a little more expensive at this pub and may take a little more time for it to come out so do keep that in mind before you come :)

This local pub just gets better and better. The food is superb and the staff are fantastic. Its become our go-to place for Sunday lunch and we are never disappointed. Mid-week is just as good but avoid Mondays as that is the chef's day off

Lunch here after a long break. Food and service excellent as usual. Only problem for me was lack of a lunch menu with smaller portions and sandwiches. Please reconsider- I’m sure you would have more lunchtime customers with a lunchtime menu.
