The White Hall in Gwynedd

I came with a large group of friends a few times to the Whitehall and could not have had a better time! For such a large group that I came in with, the staff did amazingly and the food was superb. It came out piping hot and was lovely. I had the cheeseburger and the beef was top tier, as-well as one of the nicest Tikka Masalas I have ever had, so much so I had it twice. Drinks were definitely reasonably priced and the members of staff were so friendly and welcoming that I just had to leave a review. I’d come here every time I came to Tywyn!

Lovely Staff and Waitresses, great food - a little pricey. Great atmosphere and again, great staff. The pool table of course added to the fun.

Been here for about a week and visited Whitehall twice, both times the service has been very amazing and welcoming and generally kind. Atmosphere from when I’ve been here (4-8pm) has been calm and soothing despite the numerous of people in the pub. Portion sizes are considerably generous with the pricing and the food has been the best we’ve ate in Tywyn and local areas. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying and looking for a nice meal with the family. The guy behind the bar is very nice and the woman who does front of house is very kind. 10/10 will come here again when we visit again.

Sunday roast lunch without equal. Even the nut roast was delicious. Home made, in a local’s pub. ‘No frills’ has been said before. I concur

Mixed kebab in pitta with chips salad and sauce- massive tasty and good fast service. Allows dogs in which is a winner for me! And friendly staff.

My favourite local for food! Good, tasty grub! Steaks are cooked to perfection every time ! Pizza’s are fab too! This pub is a proper local the cook is the landlady and she excels with what they have here good beers too

My partner and I just had the most amazing mixed meat Sunday lunch, the cauliflower cheese was to die for, portion sizes were really good, will be back soon with the rest of the gang.

3 of went for Sunday lunch, between us we ordered mixed meat, beef and turkey dinners. Big portions of meat and veg which were very tasty and we ordered a side of cauliflower cheese which was delicious. Will be back for sure

Booked for 6 friends and 2 dogs for Sunday lunch. Sat in bar area. Warm welcome by licencee. Five of us ordered the mixed meat roast and one had the beef. When the meals arrived the plates were enormous. Loads of meat, Yorkshire pud, stuffing, roasties and lots of veg. We had cauliflower cheese as extra and it was delicious. Plenty of gravy and extra brought out. It was a really good home cooked Sunday roast. We all cleared our plates and were so full could not fit in desert. We will def be going back next time we visit. A great place for Sunday lunch. Dropped in for an unplanned lunch, was seated straight away at the start of lunch service, food arrived quickly and hot, all fresh produce and vegetables, tasted delicious and was reasonably priced! Would highly recommend ⭐️

The man who takes orders was very miserable and unfriendly. The Spinach and potato curry was very overpriced considering the portion size. Menu very basic! Didn't offer desserts. Pub a bit rowdy and rundown, but was the only pub who would accept pets. This town is in desperate need of a new dog friendly pub!

The food was cooked to perfection, everyone in my group was left more than satisfied with their meals, I would personally recommend going for the horseshoe gammon. The service was great, we did visit here on the Sunday but unfortunately it was only pizzas on the menu. Definitely one to revisit and try some more dishes.

We had an excellent Sunday lunch we had the Beef which is locally sourced. The vegetables were cooked precise nice colour and with the right crispiness. Their was plenty of meat per portion. The picture shows how the meal is presented but you can add cauliflower cheese,mash,extra roast and Yorkshire for an extra price. You will need to book so your not disappointed. The location is bottom end of then opposite the picture house

A reasonably lively bar, a little run down/yesterday feeling about the place but service was good and the beer ok.

We booked a table for the Sunday carvery. We were really impressed with the selection of meats,veg and the trimmings. Beef, lamb, turkey and belly pork. The adult portion for £11.95 was very generous and all tasted amazing. We will definitely be back!!
