The Wharf in Greenwich

Absolutely horrible experience, the staff were lovely but service was terrible!!! Our food came eventually after 2 hours but we were eating in the dark! Absolutely shocking we pre ordered all of our food! Wouldn’t go again.

Nach einem wunderschönen Spaziergang hatten wir im Restaurant The Wharf einen Lunch. Mit dem Kinderwagen war es etwas eng, doch da zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht mehr so viele Gäste da waren, ging es ganz gut. Das Restaurant bietet eine tolle Aussicht auf die Themse, welche quer durch London fliesst. Ich und meine Frau haben uns einen Salat-Teller und eine Portion Fish&Chips bestellt. Das Essen schmeckte uns ganz gut. Für ein Mittagessen mit Freunden ist es toll.

We reguarly visit here with friends as it has a nice outside terrace, in the summer its buzzing and in the winter they have outside heaters. The place has great views along the river especially at night, so it you can ask for a riverside table. Located on the edge of Gariels Wharf with its bohemian feel, its relaxed and often a little less crowded than the other areas on the South Bank. The Wharf appears to be an independant but is acutally part of the PizzaExpress group but totally unbranded and does not do Pizza! Prices are pretty reasonable considering the million dollar views of the north bank when lit up an night. Just wanted to say great service, especially from Chelo who looked after us and got us a riverside table in the evening, on the busy run up to xmas.

Alex & The Wharf team were just amazing and friendly. Felt really good to lunch here after a morning at Tate Modern. Love the view of St Paul cathedral

Koselig plass med utsikt over elven, men bår matopplevelse var litt under middels. Hyggelig service skal sies. Varmt øl trekker også ned.

The food was good but the waiter was rude. When I wanted to pay with my credit card he inserted the amount of the bill and the gratitude (at the excess of 50%) and handed me the POS to insert the pin. If I weren’t careful I wouldn’t have noticed it. When I pointed out to him that it is for me to decide about the tip he didn’t seem to care. The place has excellent view; the waiter was terrible.

Thames nehri hemen karşısında ve yemekleri inanılmaz lezzetli, London Eye yürüme mesafesinde, çalışanlar çok sempatik ve güleryüzlü yemekler konusunda çokta yardımcı oluyorlar yolunuz düşerse mutlaka uğrayın pişman olmazsınız. Kalamar ve fish&cips çok taze ve lezzetliydi, ekmeğini zeytinyağıyla birlikte mutlaka deneyin..

This place is in a great location walking distance to the London Eye etc. Great view of the river. Great atmosphere. Food is good. Service was friendly and helpful. The toilets are not great.

Called in for a late lunch was greeted at the door and seated by the window with a nice view over the Thames . Did not realise there was an upstairs better views up there obviously , so taken note for any other visits Waiter was pleasant and efficient but not much interaction with us , did his job and that was it ,did not feel any warmth from his presence . Food was very nice , well presented and freshly made . My husband had lime and soda and it arrived with a bottle of soda and a small jug of lime cordial which was cute ! So he could make it like he likes it first one had ice cubes second came with no ice . My husband had prawns and I had beer battered halloumi cheese both very nice Main course we both had chicken salad with avocado pear with dressing Very pleasant experience but staff do play a large part in any dinning experience

We enjoy visiting the Southbank area and came upon this restaurant by chance. We were seated promptly and had a great view of the Thames. The waiter was friendly and the service was prompt. My husband had the fish and chips which was great value for money and I had the king prawn salad which was also delicious. The location is ideal with lots of different attractions close by. We look forward to visiting this restaurant again.

Joli petit restaurant situé sur les quais de la Tamise. Service impeccable et souriant. Le poisson est très frais et la carte propose des menus pour tous les goûts. Pour les végétariens le halloumi burger est à conseiller. Prix très raisonnables.

Hamnade här av en slump då det var superkallt (december) och hungern tog över. Varmt, fullsatt, mysigt och helt ok mat. Hög ljudnivå men massor av ljusslingor och ljuslyktor så härlig stämning! Åt en god haloumiburgare med sötpotatispommes - alla mätta och nöjda.

They are very busy but we were rapidly seated. It takes a while to be served. Food is decent but it is not very special. A little expensive but you are by the Thames. Your pay for the location.

Ich habe dort gefrühstückt und es war sehr lecker. Man hat eine gute Aussicht auf die Themse und die Inneneinrichtung ist sehr gemütlich.

We went for mid afternoon lunch. Service was OK, not fantastic considering the few customers. The food was good, but again not fantastic.

Se passeggi sul Tamigi, puoi fermarti per pranzare! Molto buono Fish & Chip! Bella location...oggi anche l'arcobaleno!

Una vez llevaron a nuestra mesa el personal parecía que nos ignoran y continuó entorno otras mesas, poner velas, nada aparte de tomar nuestra orden. Después preguntó si alguien podría tomar nuestro pedido la comida y las bebidas llegaron muy rápido y la comida era muy agradable. Había una vez una larga espera para que nuestros vasos vacíos y aviso de placas y eventualmente trajo el menú de postres. Que se tardaron mucho tiempo en venir a nuestra mesa que no se molestaba en pedido de postre y sólo pedimos la factura - de nuevo me tomó años venideros. No gracias o adiós cuando nos sea izquierda. El personal no parecía que quería estar allí y no podía preocuparse menos de los clientes. Es una pena porque la comida era fantástica y la ubicación. Las mesas están un poco encajonados en si la persona de al lado se despierta es difícil no tienen su fondo en su cena.

Decent pint of real ale in a friendly riverside pub , the food is pretty good too . A little difficult to find if you do not know the area . Well worth a visit .

Buena comida pero la camarera que nos servía era extremadamente grosero! Después de pagar por el vino más caro que en realidad me gritó cuando me indicó. Luego tarda una eternidad para ella para informar gerente que no venga y solucionaron el problema muy rápidamente y de manera eficiente, gracias a la gestión para salvar la noche. Evitar servidor a cualquier costo. beata

Estuve muy bien allí .comiendo al lado del Támesis,tranquilamente. Comí una exquisita ensalada ,con pollo asado.

It is not a cheap restaurant, but considering the location, is worth it. The menu is not too big, so it is easy to choose, specially if you are trying just have a quick bite to continue your sightseeing. I tried the burger and my friends had the Fish and Chips and the seafood linguine. All was very well presented and tasted good too.
