Food was good. Not wowing, but great for pub grub.

Food was OK if ur just hungry and want to spend £12 it's what you would expect in a beefeater.we just tried it for dinner wouldnt book to go for a nice meal in the evening.

We ate hear 2 nights running, on the Monday night it wasn't all that full which is how I like it, We where seated next to the quayside so had waterfront views while eating, I ordered the Lasagne and chips and Sue had the Sirloin steak, we used a voucher we had and got the meal for less than £20, on the Tuesday it was more busy and we where seated by the door which was nice due to the cool breeze, I chose the Mixed Grill, wish I'd gone with the Lasagne again, have had better mixed grills, Sue had the Sirloin again and we used another which got us the meal for £23, I think we will stick to Brewers Fayres from now on

The chefs 2nd attempt (the 1st looked the same) at a fillet steak on Saturday night in beefeater waterfront, it's been "butterflied" apparently into a lumpy dogs dinner. (The other pic is the marketing photo for it!)

I went to the waterfront beefeater with my son and we had pukka food there the waiter there gave us excellent service and he was very polite and a very well spoken and manner gentleman. We enjoyed our meal there and We will go there definitely again because the food is so good and the service.

Very helpful staff on an extremely busy evening.

Seated by the window alright to start with but got colder as the time went on. Restaurant wasn't very busy but staff were slow taking orders and didnt see them again until i caught the waitresses eye and said it was time to pay. Not impressed.

Had a really lovely night out at this beefeater. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They weren't afraid to have a laugh and joke. The food was impeccable and cooked to perfection. I would not hesitate to come back again and would be happy to recommend it to friends and family.

Ignore the times it says open until 11pm just got refused service for a drink at 9.59pm. Just had a 5 hr journey as well.

It was our first visit to this beefeater, I didn't enjoy our food, we had starters and hadn't finished but the waiter asked to bring the mains over, we declined so we watched our food go dry under the heat lamps.. The table behind us had finished, the waiter began to clear the table, well I've never heard so much noise, from folding the wooden highchairs to the clashing of the plates, everything seemed to be a rush, which made us as a family feel uneasy.

Popped in with a family of 5 late Tuesday evening. . Staff couldnt do more to accommodate us , food was hot and tasty, service was fantastic , my mother really enjoyed her first meal here

Amazing staff and amazing food;)

Arrived for breakfast 9,45 sat down went up for breakfast at about 10.10 every time we went up food was missing eggs,beacon,ect we waited approximately 20 to 25 minutes for us to get breakfast very dissatisfied think they need to get food out quicker.a number of people commented on the service

Great breakfast. Everything spot on and cooked perfectly. Staff great with a shout out to chef Phil and Aaron. Couldn't do enough, highly recommended

Although the food was a little more expensive then what youd pay at similar resturants it was worth it as food was amazing. Service was fast and staff friendly.

Standard beefeater. Food was an expensive Ribeye with chips and a little bit of greenery served on a cold plate. Daughters bolognese looked as though it was a microwave one and just pushed into the bowl as spaghetti on one side of the bowl and sauce on the other with some splattering on the pasta. The desserts however were amazing. Service was great, the team were really helpful even though it was a very busy evening.

Great food and service. Roast chicken feel of the bone. Only comment I would make is why rocket with the meal . Perhaps a veg offered as an alternative option.

Fitted 6 of us in at short notice on Thursday evening. Service was good. Food was good. I'd happily go there again.

This restaurant or hotel reminds me of a 70's scene or if your from Swansea and you're old enough "the foyer of the Odeon" on the Kingsway. The food quality is okay but doesn't warrant the usual hefty price tag especially when their portion of chips resembles the size of a quarter of boiled sweets from the market. We asked for more however they said that was the portion size and for the price of a steak and chips (16.99) ...I just thought this was a bit mean so thank the lord my mate had the 50% off main meals as I wouldn't have paid that price so I certainly will not be going back unless I have 40/50% vouchers. Also my partner had the vegetable lasagna with garlic bread which had no garlic on it so tasted as bland as a piece of toast with no butter. All in all a very dull experience.

We are regulars here for lunch due to work. The service is always fantastic and fast. The food is normally good quality and fresh. The one thing I will say is that improved extraction from the open kitchen is required as we always leave smelling of cooking oil and smoke from the grills and friers. It’s a shame as it puts a cloud throughout the restaurant. Apart from that we love the place. Also the breakfast is superb if you ever stay in the Premier Inn. Thank you.

We always stay at the Premier Inn attached when we visit Swansea. The staff in the Beefeater here are the reason we choose it. They are professional, polite, fun and really care about giving you the best service.

We’ve stayed at four Premier Inns this year with varying standards of food and service, mainly poor. The Waterfront was excellent at all levels. Excellent food and friendly efficient staff.

Pleasant but no parking. You have to pay to park in a nearby public car park. Lovely Sunday roast but very mean on the portion of meat (I had lamb)

Very poor quality food, for breakfast whilst staying in the hotel above. Toaster set to the wrong setting so black toast, beans were cold and bacon over cooked so you couldn’t get a fork into it

Food was offensively poor for the prices. Eg: £17 Salmon was served over cooked with microwaved veggie rice with some chunks of rice. £23 Surf and turf was over cooked and served with under cooked chips. It could just be the restaurant having a bad day but the quality of food served was just unjustifiable unfortunately. Service, Staff and atmosphere was good

The service was great and staff very pleasant and helpful. The food was good. My steak was cooked perfectly (I asked for it rare, and it was! That doesn't happen often in this country). Breakfast was good, too. The meal deal is worth it (approx £25 for two course dinner and for breakfast). The only reason I didn't give the full 5 stars is due to the amount of 'haze' in the air when lots of steaks, burgers, etc. are being cooked in the open kitchen.

Stayed for 5 nights ate in the beefeater every night. What an absolute delight the staff were a credit to beefeater I have 2 children and both were fussed and given a wonderful attention. The food was phenomenal we enjoyed a range of food from steak to nachos and everything was beautifully presented and delicious. A special mention goes out to: Jack ( There every day) Katie ( wonderfully professional and friendly nothing too much trouble) Chez ( Absolute credit to any business will go above and beyond and amazing with the kids ) Danielle ( wonderfully professional and friendly nothing too much trouble ) Tabitha ( thank you for all the ice ) They also need more ice buckets Cannot wait to go back

Friendly staff, nice, clean and modern restaurant. Toilets in the bar area are very small compared to the size of the place. Food is nice.

Stopped for quick lunch, great value and great food.

Booked a table before we arrived in Swansea on our holiday. We had originally booked for 4.45pm on the daytime menu but as we were around Prinxe Of Wales Dock earlier than that we called in on the off chance and although we were 45 minutes early they were OK with that. We were served by Ann who was friendly & welcoming. The daytime menu is a 3 course for £12.95 or 2 course for £10.95 and there is plenty of choice. The deal finishes at 5pm. Eash course arrived hot & delicious. If I were you I would consider this deal if you go, as a bit later it would cost a lot more for the same meal. I would highly recommend this Beefeater, although there is a lot of work going on around it that may put you off, please don't let it, as the food & service are top quality. I gave 3 for atmosphere due to it being a very quiet weekday

The worst place ( in our case) . We order 3 steaks. 2 medium 1 well done - we have all ended up getting medium... Food was cold . Ordered iced caramel coffee - had cold water with bit of coffee taste (not caramel not coffee) . Asked about straws for coffee the answer was - we don't have any ,finished......Shame

Fantastic restaurant with wonderful staff who are courteous and extremely helpful. The food is well cooked and presented nicely. The restaurant is laid out well with a lovely view of the closed dock. The refill soft drinks are a great touch and the staff make sure you don't run out.

Nice food served by friendly staff

Our food was beautiful! I had lasagna and my partner had the mushroom tower! There was a good selection of vegetarian meals to choose from on the menus. Our servers were also fantastic! Enthusiastic and smiling throughout! No complaints from us!

Service - FOH staff friendly and attentive to additional dietary needs (dairy allergy). Came for Sunday lunch and waited 30mins for food, as expected for Sunday. Food - Cauli cheese and vegan ‘chicken’ was unavailable. Food arrived luke warm and some veg was cold. Yorkshire puddings were mushy, like warm. Some of our party had very small pieces of lamb and some had large slices. The lamb was dry and well-done despite the menu’s claims of being ‘just pink in the middle for the best flavour’ - see picture. One meal was so cold we asked for it to be reheated and it was returned without the accompanying mint sauce. We paid £16.99 for chargrilled prawns and were greeted with a meagre portion of 5 cold king prawns and like warm skinny fries. The one person from our party of 7 who had a steak was happy with his meal. The coke on draught was flat and tasteless. The ‘sherbet lemon’ mixer was bland and had no hint of sherbet and must have had half a measure of gin at most as it didn’t taste alcoholic. Atmosphere- Location is good and there is ample parking 30 seconds from the entrance. The vibe of the place is nice and homely. Temperature was pleasant. I’m sure we caught them on a particularly bad day based on other reviews but for standards to slip this badly, especially since it wasn’t particularly heaving, I wouldn’t recommend ever coming here for roast dinner.

The FOH team were very welcoming and helpful and explained how the meal voucher worked to me, the shift manager helped me out with a toothpick made out of a wood skewer😘 👍the food was well cooked and presented, the breakfast was very good also as were breakfast team. Will definitely go again.

Really lovely pub/restaurant. The drinks are reasonably priced (they do refill soft drinks). The food was delicious apart from the burnt sausage I received with my flame combo grill. Shame on you chef! The server offered to replace it but I was too disappointed it was sent that way in the first place. I will however return cos the Sunday lunch looks good.

Height of hot weather and no air con in the restaurant with an open kitchen.

We gave had several birthday celebration meals here. Excellent food and very good service, even when busy. Great atmosphere and very accommodating. Don't miss the mixed grill!

Food was amazing, great steak cooked well. My hubby had the surf and turf and the prawns were huge. Cocktails event down well too.

The staff were very friendly both nights that I visited and very welcoming, which made the meal good. It think that the food was average for the price.

Went for a Sunday lunch! (Beef dinner) Small portion and cold... my partner had a chicken breast with side salad and jacket spud and 1 coke £33.10p 🙄🙄

Food looked nothing like the menu photographs., It looked "incomplete". Steak sampler was cold, smothered chicken was so basic. Very poor and disappointed.

The restaurant lacked the great service we normally get from other beefeater restaurants. Food was okay, but the wait times were long especially for a Sunday evening. We arrived at 6.20pm and currently still waiting for dessert at 7.50pm... Disappointed

Food is overpriced and cold when served

Booked lunch for 9 people at the Beefeater, the staff seemed too busy. We were asked to take a seat and didn’t get our menus, few minutes later got one of the three menus (alacarte) and only only drinks menu for the 9 of us. They ran out on lamb options for the Easter Sunday Roast. Not the best experience - possibly they are under staffed.

Lovely place for food, the venue is situated in the heart of the SA1. Great for parties and get togethers. Menu has everything, from veggie to vegan.

All the staff were cheerful and helpful plus seemed interested in their jobs and what was going on. Teamwork in other words! We were seated at a table for two but we both had enough room and were happy. Our meals were lovely I had the steak & ale pie and hubs had hunter's chicken 👍 Chocolate brownie & ice cream and hubs had apple pie & custard Lovely!

Visited on a Thursday afternoon about 2.30pm. Restaurant was very quiet when we arrived, so no issue getting a table (it did get a little busier later). We opted for the lunchtime menu with 3 courses for £12.95 (though we paid a supplement to have a larger gammon for me, and to add a scoop of ice cream to the desserts). Chicken wings starter was a bit of a surprise - it was just 4 deep fried wings on a bare plate, with no garnish whatsoever - so it looked a bit spartan! Main courses ( 1 steak sandwich and 1 gammon and egg) were well cooked and tasty, with chunky chips. Chocolate torte dessert was very rich and chocolatey. One lager and one bottle of fruit cider added just over £11 to the bill. Restaurant is nicely furnished. Toilets were fresh and clean when we visited.
