Shocked and so disappointed! We have been eating here for over 8 years! But after tonight's experience I will never go back. Ordered a takeaway for delivery when the food arrived the 2 curries they tasted absolutely horrible! And the naan was stone cold, Tried to get back in touch with the restaurant to express my disappointment with the food and see if the situation could be resolved however no one was answering the phone, I called the nice guy that delivered our food and asked him to get the restaurant to call me. After waiting 30 minutes I decided to drive to the restaurant to return the disgusting food, when I arrived I was questioned as to why I had returned it, I was offered a refund for the curries only (even though the whole meal had been ruined!) Safe to say they have lost a very loyal customer! And clearly their chef!

We came here for my mums birthday, the food was lovely and the staff were so friendly. When we rang up beforehand to book the table we told them it was for an occasion they decorated the tables and even got my mum a personalised cake. Would definitely come back here again!!

We had a lovely meal with great service by the attentive waiters we found the restaurant is run by brothers who have put their hearts and soul in it. Voujon has a lovely ambience and friendly atmosphere we will definitely go back.

I don't ever leave reviews but felt compelled to mostly because of the amazing service. There was great banter between the 2 waiters who were very friendly and accomodating. Even more so impressed because there was such a big group of us. The food was lovely and arrived all at the same time with no mistakes. I would definitely come back again!

First visit to Voujon and not overly impressed! Perhaps due to the great reviews?Poppadoms and sides were different ,but not any better.Mains were okay, but again not marvellous.Service was slick to begin with, but evaporated as it got busier.Lighting was too subdued and we like many others had to use mobile light to read menu.( not ideal).Bill was wrong and when pointed out was told it included service charge(though on the bill itself it states service NOT included).All in all it was okay, but nothing special and there are far better Indian options (Purbani/TheAvenue) locally.

A warm welcome, started off an excellent meal. Popoddoms were crispy and nicely flavoured, the sauces/dips were a level above the usual, we realised we were onto a good thing. We had three different vegetarian dishes, one was a special, off menu dish. All were wonderful, portions were very generous. Breads and rice complimented the meal perfectly. All washed down with kingfisher beer. The service was charming, pleasant humour, very amiable hosts. Definitely recommended, we will certainly be back.

We sometimes visit this restaurant and often have a takeaway. Last Sunday we had a takeaway, it was excellent. We ordered for four people and everyone thoroughly. Can't say anymore other than to say it was delicious. Can't wait to go again.

We visited the restaurant for dinner, all measures were in place for social distance and safety. The food was amazing the best Indian food around,fresh and full of flavour. The owners and staff are so welcoming.Definately returning soon.

I visited Voujon during lock down and take away only was all that was available, even though my visit was limited to the outside seating area I was made to feel very welcome buy the waiter, his recommendations were perfect and the food was great. Voujon isn't just my local but it's my #1 go to, I make friends travel out from the city to eat there with me and the takeaways are just as good. Runans my man always has a good recommendation for me to have and the friendliest bloke ever.

I have just had a meal delivered from Voujon in Chingford and I could not believe how good it was. Massive fan of Indian food and this has to be the best I have had for the last 10 years. So happy to have it nearby!!! We’ll be coming back for more soon and telling everyone we know. Special thanks to Ramon who is charming.

I would like to say a huge thank you to the Voujon Indian Restaurant in Chingford Station Road who not only give you top restaurant quality food in their takeaway, which is by far the most tastiest Indian food I’ve ever had, but also for their generosity as they give all NHS staff 50% off their food!

I visited the voujon Indian restaurant for the 1st time about 5 weeks ago. During these trying times with vivid 19 I was desperate for some good Indian food. I ordered a takeaway and collected. Roman one of the guys there was really helpful on the phone. I explained my wife is vegan and could he suggest any tasty vegan meals. To my suprise and delight they made a special main course for her. She is a fussy eater anyway, she was delighted with the meal. I was astonished at the low cost for such a high quality Indian meal ( albeit a takeaway). We enjoyed the food so much we had 3 more takeaway meals from there in 1 week ( very naughty!!) I’ve been tonight again and have to say the food just gets better. Along with the service and friendliness ( when I call they even recognise my voice and call me by my 1st name!.I would recommend the voujon to everyone ( they deliver too! But I live 25 mins away, and they said they still would deliver to me) I have recommended them to all my friends and family. And hopefully when they open properly I will be one of the 1st to book a family meal there.Keep it up guys fantastic

We only found Voujon restaurant recently but we absolutely love it. The menu is unique with some different dishes to the usual Indian and the quality of the food is superb. Must give a special mention to the friendliness and generosity of the staff, especially Roman. They have excelled over this Covid lockdown period and we can’t recommend them highly enough.

Been coming here regularly for a number of years and the food has been consistently excellent. Every single spice & herb can be savoured in their dishes rather than couded in curry powder. Vegetables & meat are cooked to perfection. A talented chef with good humoured staff led by Roman makes this restaurant clearly the best of any cuisine around here.

Had a wonderful meal tonight with my family the food was amazing little bit pricey 80 pounds for three of us but it was a nice treat would go again the staff was very friendly and even give me a drink and chocolates

I called in with a friend, we were greeted and taken to a table by Roman who was attentive but not intrusive. The food was excellent, the service friendly, welcoming and efficient. The whole experience was very pleasant and next time we are in Chingford we shall return.

we came down from Gilwell Park for an evening meal. The meal was the best curry and sides I have had for a number of years and the service from Roman and Aaron was outstanding with a very subtle sense of humour. A good evening..

Good food, really good onion bhaijis, I wanted mild food on this occasion and it was fine. Service perhaps a little over attentive, but not a problem.

We visited this restaurant last night and had a phenomenal meal. The service was so attentive. We ordered appetizers and main meals which were absolutely perfect! At the end of our meal, they even gave us a small liquor, and a box of maltesers! So sweet! Can’t wait to return! Lovely place!

Came here on a recommendation. However the food was sub-standard. Dishes were too heavily spiced and inedible. Chicken very dry & the lamb tough as old boots. The waiting staff kept coming to our table too often and interupting our conversation with too many personal questions. We wanted to catch up as friends not share our life story with the staff. They try too hard to impress and fail miserably. We wont be back anytime soon.

A great meal with friends. Good service throughout and made to feel most welcome. Did our best to drain the bar too. Food all enjoyed and followed recommendations from our waiter. Felt fine later and next day, not a bad thing. The chef came out and explained how he tries to keep fat content low thanks to tips from his mother.

If you have not been here you must go. The food is to die for . Staff are wonderful. Zak is lovely and very funny. Zak and his staff could not do enough for us. Will definitely be going back

What a fantastic evening at this restaurant. I had never been there and we were treated like regulars. Table laid with birthday decorations. The staff at this restaurant could not be more welcoming. The food is excellent and very well priced.

I went Friday night with my mate for dinner. Literally the starter was phenomenal!!!!!! The main curries were so flavourful I literally devoured every mouthful. I'm not even a fan of Indian food as the flavours can be hit n miss... but this was a HIT!

The menu was full of interesting dishes and the staff were extremely passionate about the food that they were keen to help pick the dish that best suit each persons taste. Having recently moved to Loughton we were disappointed with the choice of Indian restaurants. Yet, less than 10 minutes away in Chingford, we found the answer to our quest for a decent Indian meal.

Lovely and friendly staff who always put a smile on your face and a bonus is the food is so good. If you like your curry you will love coming here just for the staff itself so great food and great staff 👍🏼

We booked here for my son’s 13th birthday family dinner & it was the first time we had eaten at this restaurant. Wow, what a very special place this is! From the moment we walked in we were greeted as if we were old friends. Throughout the whole evening all of the staff went above & beyond for us, which we were truly grateful for. If only other restaurants would take note of this fabulous customer service. The food was absolutely delicious too. Zac was so interactive with the kids & made it so special for both of them that the kids have not stopped talking about it since. We will definitely be back again. We went to celebrate our daughter’s birthday on Monday 10 June and they pulled out all the stops to help us mark the occasion! Roman was especially attentive and the food was delicious too.. thank you to all the staff for making it a special meal for us to remember!

Went with my fiancées family for his birthday dinner. From start to finish the waiters were attentive and helpful, always with a friendly smile. Ruman especially made the evening special with his jokes and suggestions! They asked whether we were coming for a special event and had dressed the table before we got there with birthday banner and confetti. Food was absolutely delicious with generous portions! Surprise birthday cake at the end of the meal with complimentary drinks and boxes of Malteasers for the ladies topped off a wonderful evening! Will be returning soon!

Ordered a takeaway tonight from the restaurant - we had been in there before and it was so so tasty and wonderful with incredibly kind staff but today we wanted to be lazy so ordered takeaway.

Roman recommended an alternative to the vindaloo which was great, happy to make it with paneer even though it wasn’t on the menu, Rajasthan style I believe; great customer service and happy friendly staff!

We went there for a friend's birthday, this is the 1st time I have been there and it won't be my last! The food was excellent and not at all greasy, the service from all the staff is great and they are really friendly and efficient. They had decorated the table, then served a lovely chocolate mousse cake complete with an indoor firework on top of it for my friend, gave us all a free Baileys or choice if other drink and gave us all a box of maltesers to take home aswell! Highly recommended

My wife and I are Indian. We are also foodies. I would happily come back here and probably will. One of the few Bangladeshi (or Indian or Pakistani) restaurants where the food is not "cooked to death". Clean, subtle flavours.The staff were friendly, smiling and polite. Great food, modern settings and amazing customer service. The guys here really can’t do enough, always greeted with a smile and very large portions. The spicy chicken tikka masala is a must with mushroom rice.

Great food. The waiter arranged for a lovely vegetarian special for me. My friend is vegan and this was accomodated with no issues. Great service from the waiters and they gave us a box of malteasers with the bill. I thought that was a lovely gesture. One of the best meals I've ever had.

Well where do I start ? Geez ! You know what it’s like you read reviews and they all seem amazing and the sync in you assumes there all made up but my gosh let me tell you now there true ! Booked a table for me and the princess the queen of my heart her indoors ! Got there on time restaurant was pretty quiet but was pretty early, Roman our waiter( more on him later) led us to our table, we were immediately impressed with the restaurant and service so far, seated poppadoms ordered( be rude not to) lovely selection of chutneys and sauces , now down to the main business mixed starters ordered both full of flavour and stunningly presented massive thumbs up our waiter Roman was on the ball all night coming over to check on us and having some brilliant banter with us, for mains we both wanted the chicken jalfrezi however Roman talked us into changing one for a Roman special and slap me with a trout and call me jiggles ! Did this main know what he was talking about he also talked us into trying there special veg and again banging choices!

We visited the Voujon with family this week for my husband's birthday. We were greeted with a table decorated in sparkly confetti and a banner and a birthday cake with a spectacular candle followed our meal. The food was, as always, delicious (we are regular visitors and also use the home delivery service) and the staff were happy to advise on the dishes and accommodate any preferences.....king prawn surprise was a big hit! As was the Journeyman Chenin Blanc that we drank a little too much of.....It was so good! Service is always efficient, entertaining and friendly and with complimentary drinks and boxes of chocs for the ladies to take home everyone is happy! What more can I say except GO....you will NOT be disappointed. We will most definitely be back

I came here on a Saturday evening to celebrate my sisters birthday, and the food and service was excellent. I had forgotten to mention that it was my sisters birthday when I made my reservation earlier in the week, so contacted the restaurant around 25 minutes before we were due to arrive, asking if they could provide a cake. When we got there, a banner and confetti was laid out on the table, and we were provided with a chocolate cake complete with sparkler candle once we had finished our main course. Thank you so much for the great food, first class, friendly service, and the extra touches that made the evening that bit more special. This was our first time here, but we left feeling like regulars. We will definitely be returning!

My fiance and I went to Voujon on a date night and it did not disappoint! I called up on the day to book a table and they were able to fit us in, even though the restaurant was full when we arrived. The food was delicious! It came out promptly and pipping hot and the service was impeccable. We were well looked after and we left feeling like royalty without breaking the bank. We're on a mission to try as many local restaurants as possible this year, but we'll definitely be back to Voujon. Thanks to Ahmed and all the staff for the personal touches. Highly highly recommended.

This was the first time we had been to this restaurant and we were not disappointed, the service and food was absolutely brilliant.

What can I say other than an amazing experience. There were 14 of us in total and the service was fantastic.

We were staying locally at a premier inn, on a Business trip, walked down the road and found this place and glad we did. Food was hot tasty nothing was to much trouble.

We went to this restaurant early on Saturday evening 6.45 p.m. for a quick meal on our way home, but it turned out to be anything but quick.

This was only our second time at the Voujon, but this has quickly become one of our favourite restaurants. We booked for the New Years Eve special event as it was near to where we live plus we hoped the food was as good as last time - we were not disappointed!

Just had the most amazing meal at the restaurant. The food was outstanding, the ambiance was the best but the customer service was amazing. I came out feeling like part of the family, they made us feel like we needed to return.

I came here with wife on a Monday night and we were expecting the place to be barely empty, but for our surprised, there were a lot tables taken, so that is a sign of how good this restaurant is. We were greeted by the staff and shown to our table quickly.

We came here for the first time a few weeks ago on a friend's recommendation and are so pleased that we did. We've been back since and each time had a really good meal. The menu offers both regular dishes and some unusual variations, all well cooked and beautifully flavoured. The service is outstanding, and even on a busy Saturday evening the staff were helpful and attentive. When we visited on a quiet Sunday evening we had the opportunity to talk more with the staff and they are all very friendly. It's obvious that they care very much that their customers have a good time and enjoy their meal. We will definitely go back again!

My son took us to Voujon last night and I have to say we had a fantastic time. As soon as you step into the place you receive a warm welcome. Their customer service is impeccable and they are so attentive. The food was great, decent portions and good flavours. Total bill for 5 was reasonable including drinks. The ambience and relaxing music in the background added to the whole experience!

We went to the voujon indian restaurant the other night. We have been there lots of times since they first opened,but not for a while recently..you always get a warm welcome from zak and all the staff.after poppadoms and drinks we ordered.i had a mixed grill sizzler which was not on the menu,my wife had a veggie option.we had various other dishes and a complementary dish from zak...the food was great,the service was great..even said hello the the chef, cause I hadn't been in for a while..complimentary drinks and Maltesers for the ladies....great evening...Will be back...
