Had a lovely breakfast this morning. A friendly welcome and drinks served at table. Very clean and tidy tea room and plenty of seating. We both ordered a traditional breakfast. It arrived piping hot and well presented. Lovely sausage and bacon from Local butchers. They also do homemade cakes and sandwiches, rolls and drinks to takeaway. Plenty of parking at front, or large carpark nearby. Would definitely recommend them.

We regularly have breakfast at the bakery and it is consistently a “First Class” experience. Jo and Sarah are most helpful and friendly. The food is always beautifully cooked and the breakfast ingredients are of good quality . It’s a good breakfast and value for money. Well worth a visit. Hot tip try the sausage rolls too, they are homemade and amazing.

We visited the bakery in the hope of some freshly baked bread or maybe a cake... They had a Victoria sponge and a brownie on sale with some packaged cakes bought in from elsewhere, their coffee was from a machine and average at best and no baked bread in sight, in fact we even saw a member of staff carrying in packets of hovis which I assume were for the sandwiches. We won't go back and we certainly wouldn't call it a bakery which is a shame as Warsash could do with a nice independent bakery instead of Co op

Handmade and homemade finger sandwiches, freshly baked fruit scone x 2, clotted cream, tea bags, jam and 4 x cake items each + strawberries. Came in a mostly recyclable box. Was very tasty and went down a treat. Very much enjoyed and a nice little afternoon surprise for my wife. Lovely to be able to support a local business to in this difficult lockdown period. We can't get over how good the price of the full english breakfast is. £5.50!!!! for cooked breakfast, 2 rounds of toast and butter plus tea & coffee. Just to buy an bacon, sausage & egg bap is £5.00 with no tea or coffee so going for the full english is a no brainer. And it's a great breakfast. We always judge a breakfast by it's sausage and in the past they haven't been the best here but on this visit it was a great quality sausage. The whole thing was really tasty. We loved that it's served any time of day. The service is friendly and prompt and the food freshly cooked.

Visited Warsash to start a job and desperately needed a cuppa. Came across the village bakery, was greeted by a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome. Although a tiny little cafe it was clean and quaint, served everything from a slice of cake, sandwiches, jackets, through to a full English and all very reasonably priced. My partner had a sausage roll and said without a doubt was the best he’d ever tasted. We popped by for lunch today we were greeted by a lady serving us who was helpful, I smelt cigarette smoke and due to the cleanliness of the tea room it definitely wasn’t from inside, we initially thought it was from someone passing by, we had sandwiches and a pot of tea for two - sandwiches were lovely and well presented. We then had the scones - these in my opinion were cold and dry, you could consider warming them slightly? That said they were ok. This place got very busy which is a good sign, when we got up to pay and whilst waiting at the till the same serving lady returned from out back a(clearly she had been smoking) we observed her walk straight in from outside dusting her hands not washing them and promptly sorted out our bill, she absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke, she was very polite but still, I have knocked a point off from this visit due to this, I’m sure it was a simple oversight but please consider washing hands straight away,.

I'd lived in Warsash for over 40 years and only when I moved away do I discover this little gem of a tea shop. My parents are elderly and so I've been nipping in to get them sandwiches, cakes and today I managed to get the last sausage roll! My mum loves their sandwiches and really enjoyed the Maple cake yesterday. Today her words were "this is absolutely delicious" as she tasted the sausage roll. My one wish is that they delivered as I'm on holiday this week so can drop in every day but they may have to wait until the weekend next week to have any more. Freshly prepared food and clearly a favourite amongst the locals as it was packed when I popped in this morning.

Was looking forward to our visit to the tearoom for breakfast after hearing such positive reviews. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. Our order was taken at the table and when I ordered the breakfast I told the lady I did not drink hot drinks so could I have a cold drink instead, she mentioned this was not a problem however I would have to pay for this as an extra. This is very disappointing when the prices are the same for a tea and a cold drink. After our order was taken to the kitchen a number of builders came in a while after us and were ordering takeaways, however I over heard the waitress say to some of them they had run out of bacon and sausages. I didn't think anything of it, we had been sat waiting for 25minutes when the chef came out and told us they had no breakfast left, this is worrying that our order had not even been started even though we had already been sat there 25minutes. It was such a shame as it is lovely inside and the breakfasts that did go out whilst we were there looked very yummy. We walked out being very angry customers and will not recommend this tearoom to others.

Recently the bakery has been taken over and I am pleased to say that the new owners are doing a fab job! The menu has changed slightly, change is always good though! The cakes are still delicious. The chocolate fudge cake is one of my favourites! Nice to see that fresh eggs are stocked (I don't remember them being stocked before). I can also say that the pre packed cakes are very good. Had some cupcakes a few weeks ago when my family were here from Birmingham. The whole pack was gone in one meal time and no complaints!
