Wine Wednesday !! Loved it. Such good food. Prawns… Fishcake … Fajitas… Lamb We went for the red wine £10! Service was spot on. Fab atmosphere. Thanks to everyone who made our night so lovely. 🙏🏻

I have been coming to this restaurant with my family for years, I have called 3 times this afternoon to be hung up on 3 times all i wanted to do was book a table for Easter Sunday. Service never used to be like this.

Small friendly restaurant, food very good and value for money.

First let me start with the positives - the staff were all very warm and friendly. The restaurant is small and cosy with a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The food however was rather underwhelming. My starter of Haddock and Leek fish cake had no discernible sign of leek, and was cold. The lack of taste was saved by the tartare sauce and the salad. My sea bass did come with the two fillets (some places are mean and only serve one) however it tasted as though it had been fried in cheap tired oil. The so called lime and chilli rice was just plain boiled rice, similarly there was no hint of garlic on the garlic sugar snaps. The teriyaki sauce had been very generously applied - but just tasted like the bog standard cheap supermarket stuff. All in all I am always disappointed when presented with food I could have cooked better at home.

I visited the famous restaurant “tree house” yesterday…it was shocking. We waiting total 45mins for our starters, bear in mind we had asked our waiter how long and he rudely replied with “2 seconds”(he did not come back in 2 seconds) might i also add he really didn’t look like he wanted to be there. We eventually got our starters, my toast was burnt, my mums fishcake was greasy and my dad’s “starter” was more like a taste test. We were going to leave but we saw the mains coming out to other tables and we thought we should give it a go…we thought wrong. My mum got a chicken a chorizo fajita plate, she got 2 pieces of chicken and 4 pieces of chorizo with a bowl full of onions and peppers, the wrap was microwaved warm so it was wet and ripping. Bit snide with the sauces as well… My fish and chips on the other hand were ok. Chips tasted like they had been in the fryer multiple times but hey ho. Mushy peas had definitely been in the microwave. Definitely wouldn’t come back here again, food is overrated, the staff look like they want to end their lives and it was so so cold.

Definitely recommend really friendly staff and the food was amazing two course meal for £20 and you get value for money will definitely be going again.

Have been here before and can always guarantee good food. My husband is a vegetarian (not vegan) and there are several lovely dishes on the menu. He’s found eating out quite disappointing since everything has gone plant based crazy. Most menus nowadays cater for vegans so it’s mainly chicken substitute or fish substitute. If you’re a vegetarian because you don’t like meat it’s difficult when these dishes are made to taste like meat. No one ever seems to make a good old vegetable lasagne or vegetable burger except the tree house. I’m not a veggie but the veg cottage pie was delish. Full of veg and lentils topped with cheesy mash. There was also halloumi fajitas and mushroom stroganoff on the menu. I had the calamari and rump of lamb which was cooked to perfection. Worth paying a little bit extra for proper home cooked food and no Quorn! We will be back again to work our way through the menu.

This place is fab from the decor, to the food staff are attentive and pleasant always a lovely meal, and the are willing to accommodate all my fussy ways so that is much appreciated... keep doing what your doing 💯

Went to the tree house for lunch , a spare of the moment thing but thoroughly enjoyable, the food was well prepared and well presented, i had a ribeye whilst my wife had teriyaki salmon, can't fault anything up to the point the staff decided to sit at the table next to us and have their break , eating a meal brought in from elsewhere . Whilst i appreciate the staff do a brilliant job and deserve a break , taking it with paying customers is not the best

Popped in here Sunday and menu looked good 2 courses for £20 quite reasonable and it looks a nice place. I ordered the Duck in hoisin to start, the duo of meats (£6 supplement!!) and then had the Toblerone cheesecake. The duck was nice if slightly unimaginative and the roast dinner was really tasty the beef and lamb was tasty and the gravy was gorgeous. Didn’t get much veg but it was really nice but big disappointment that I paid an extra £6 for 2 thin slices of lamb and also didn’t get any cauliflower cheese which would have been extra !! The cheesecake I’m sorry was not a cheesecake at all!!! It was cream with a few chunks of Toblerone and biscuit base not good. I had 2 lime and sodas which cost £7 My bill was £39.50 for one person and didn’t include an alcoholic drink ouuccchhh Would come again and just have maybe a starter and main but would definitely not order the supplement for 2 meats. They shouldn’t sell the cake as a cheesecake

Dropped here on a bank holiday Monday on the way to see the iron men. Perfect spot for lunch. Service great throughout. Sadly the 2 for £18 menu wasn’t available. But lunch was great - the chorizo carbonara was a little rich & spicy. But v filling. Wife’s duck wrap was excellent - v tasty. Kids enjoyed their chicken / halloumi burgers. Fries were nicely cooked. And we heard the chef singing as he worked ! All in all a great experience.

This is our favourite Sunday Roast restaurant for many a mile and we love going. The quality of the food is brilliant Only gripe I have is more and more now they are running out of things earlier and earlier! One week it can be no Yorkshire pudding, another week there is no potatoes and I feel this needs sorting! We have tried booking for earlier but it can still happen!! Guys - order more food and give everyone a chance to see how good your roasts are

The sister restaurant was full so we walked around the corner here. The service was very good and the food was above average. The chips were amazing. The space outside is a lovely sun trap but there's also shady spots. The fun, plastic flower decor and evening party vibe still works during the day. We did ask for the music to be turned down though as we couldn't chat easily. It's a great place for lunch and has a good atmosphere and attentive staff.

Fantastic restaurant lovely staff and gorgeous food

I booked the restaurant for 14 people re a family birthday celebration. One of our party was a vegan. The choice of food was extensive and the Sunday Lunch menu was excellent both in terms of choice and price. The wines were v good particularly the Pinot noir and the staff were helpful and hardworking. This is a very good local restaurant which I couldn’t fault.

10 of us went for a birthday party, table was ready and waiting, we all ordered from the £18 menu…food arrived very quickly and piping hot. Everyone ate every scrap of food, it was delicious. Desserts were offered, ordered and again delivered on quality. Overall, a fantastic experience that we will repeating in the not too distant future.

Re your aggressive criticism of my heartfelt review: I have no idea who the Mr Harrington you spoke to is. Perhaps it would be a start to get your customers names right? Have you spoken to your rude waitress about her confrontational attitude? Or improved your sub-standard food? I'm happy to carry on leaving one star reviews.

After an emotional few days, I needed some me time and good food and this is the place that makes me happy. Not only is the food beautiful, the staff are equally as lovely. Always smiling and on hand to help. I could never get bored of the food here.

We chose to have lunch here after a walk along the beach in Crosby - it being local and with good reviews. The food and service was good and reasonably priced and everywhere was clean and tidy. There was a little hiccup with our order and room temperature was a bit uncomfortable - hence 4 not 5. That said, we’d still come back as it was a nice place for lunch.

Fabulous food! I haven’t enjoyed a meal out like this in a while. There were 4 of us and we all felt the same, a real treat.

Booked a table for 10 for a work lunch. All enjoyed their lunch greatly except for three people who ordered the salad as a main. They stated it was a bowl of spinach leaves with one stick of broccoli. Apart from their poor choice dish everybody else was happy and service was good. Just dont order the salad

Delicious italian/ meditteranean style food, with gorgeous wines and desserts too. Very cosy ambient little restaurant with unique feature of large tree, with blossom and fairy lights in the centre of the room. At the end of your meal, your bill is brought to you in a small wooden bird box, which was a unique presentation and very entertaining!

Great place. Only missing a star because I ordered a drink and I was fogotten and then when I chased the younger man said I would have to wait till the food was bought out. If they did not have enough staff on the night I shouldn't suffer. I waited and when I seen all food was brought out ...no drink came. I had to chase again. Apart from this bleep would defo recommend.

I visit this restaurant most weeks. Staff are really friendly always take time to have a chat with you. Food is great and really good value for money.

Been a few times excellence experience, fanatic food ,decent prices.

We ordered squid, onion rings and BBQ ribs. The food was without salt, the squid was soggy, placed on top of an unspecified sauce. The onion rings were insipid too.

I’ve come to the Tree House several times and the service had never been anything less than exceptional! Even when it’s completely full the staff are always lovely and helpful. The food is always amazing - especially the cheesy garlic bread - and it’s never a long wait. My only complaint is that the cocktails and strawberry sangria are way too easy to drink

This little restaurant has always been a gem in my opinion. Love the service, decor and food there. I read a few bad reviews regarding the “ rude” staff. Honestly, some people are so self entitled that every time they can’t get away with their behaviour they accuse others of being this or that. Coincidentally it’s always others who are rude, NEVER them... lol. The sad part is that the businesses haven’t got a platform here to defend themselves. It’s a one sided view... I have once heard in another establishment a rude customer ACTUALLY blackmailing staff and saying: “you’ll see what I’m going to write about you on TripAdvisor!!” Outrageous. I moved away and I’m living quite far now but will certainly stop by for lunch OR dinner at the Tree House when visiting Liverpool.

Found this little place on Instagram not to far from where I live.. Great decor amazing features with the tree going though the restaurant.. Food was on spot pawns was amazing but the lasagna WOW I thought Gino D’Acampo was nice but this one beats it by far ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I visited with my husband on Friday and as always, we were not disappointed. The food as always was absolutely perfect, as was the service and whole ambience of the restaurant.We always choose Tree House as our "go to" restaurant as we know every single meal will be beautiful. This is the best experience we had especially with the likes of Jay and Daniel! The food was amazing (it always is). The ambience is cozy and welcoming. My husband and I had a great time! Back open and as good as ever.They have completely reworked the layout for excellent social distancing , hand sanitizer as soon as you walk in, simple one way system and staff constantly wear masks abs very friendly. The food is such good value for money and is very high quality.

After a walk on Crosby beach we popped in for something to eat. It was really relaxing, food was excellent and the service was good. I had prawns for my starter and tarragon chicken for main. Both were delicious. Not our first visit and each time I go I enjoy what I have. I would recommend this restaurant.

Had a really nice meal here at the Tree House,the choice on the menu was amazing could easily have picked half a dozen Seemed vey popular and considering it was a Tuesday night shows how good the food is!Think we will go here again it was so enjoyable

If you want lovely food, fantastic ambience and amazing service look no further. We had the chicken tacos, pan rustica,rack of lamb and beef stroganoff all amazing and then the waffle to share recommended by our lovely waitress with butter scotch sauce... delicious. We have known Katie from previous visits to so salsa and Dan led her team immensely the team here deliver an amazing service. We will be back, ladies keep up the amazing work you made the evening special and nothing was too much trouble. Anybody would be mad not to be regulars here

Came here for lunch last week and we were not disappointed. Staff all friendly and helpful, social distancing and cleaning stations visible. Service was quick and attentive. Food was delicious, every meal was stunning and two course for £14,95 is ridiculously good value for money. I want to come back with my parents and my partner as the food was so good. We ate the pate, calamari and mixed meze for starter, then had the fish trio, fish pie and fish & chips for main meal.. just beautiful. I urge you to visit, you won’t be disappointed.

The Tree House is a great local restaurant and very popular. The staff are very friendly and professional, the service is very good, the food is great and 5h3 prices are very reasonable. They have a two course menu for £14.95 including evenings and weekends. The food i# very tasty and some really special dishes like duck in hoisin sauce, prawns in chilli and garlic, barbecued spare ribs, steaks etc. Highly recommended, but you may need to book.

I woudl happily recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone. The food was excellent and inexpensive. The staff were really friendly and helpful. the place itself is really nicely done out too.

Booked for table of 5 and can honestly say its the best food iv tasted , my kids who are normally very picky eaters ate everything , this was my 1st time here but wont be the last , restaurant is very relaxing and very clean , staff couldnt be more helpful and also very polite and cheerfull , this place is a real GEM...

The location is close to Crosby Village, parking outside is a bit hit and miss, but you can usually find a Parking space nearby. Atomophere inside is warm and relaxed. Service is fast and friendly, food is delivered in good time Food is really nice, with great taste. The only negative (hence the 4 stars) is I found the food portions to be a bit small. I'm not looking for Belly-busting American sized portions, but even my Wife was hungry after 2 Courses (which is VERY unusual ). Price wise it's not too bad.It's worth a visit (they just need to sort out sensible portion sizes).

We visited yesterday after making a last minute booking..you need to book as it is very busy! The staff were lovely ,friendly and welcoming , the bistro is stylish but relaxed and the food was fantastic. We are going to plan a day out to Formby or Crosby just so that we can eat there again! Excellent.

The menu here is misleading. It states options are gluten free when they have ingredients containing gluten. I spoke to the gentleman serving me and and informed him that I'm coliac and it is important that the dish I order is gluten free, he was very abrupt with me when I brought it up. I ordered the pork belly after being assured it's gluten free and I am now sick. This being the only thing I haven't prepared myself this week, it's safe to say it wasn't gluten free.Not to mention that I was charged £41 for X2 £14.95 set menu dishes and a pint of Pepsi.Disappointed and left being sick.Please train your staff on the importance of allergens and ensure your menu is correct. If that was a nut allergy someone could have died.

We went this afternoon for sunday lunch ! What can i say,it was outstanding !! The service,the food to the drinks was all excellent.I had Tarragon chicken and it was beautiful.My husband and brother in law both had roast dinners.All plates where clean as a whistle.We had cheesecake to follow which again was to die for.Thank you to all at The Treehouse xx cant wait to return.

It's almost 4 years since I last wrote a review about this restaurant so I thought it was time to put pen to paper again so to speak.The quality of the food from the main menu continues to be of a high standard.The prices are very reasonable and the choice will satisfy all tastes.The staff on Monday evening 13/1/2020 were relatively new to me but you can see they have had excellent training and were very professional and extremely helpful.This is my favourite restaurant in Crosby and I am so grateful to have such a exceptional eatery on my doorstep.

After the 1917 movie came here for a roast chicken and beef meal. The food was just delicious and filling. We skipped dessert for the first time here. Service was excellent. We love this place as they always make you feel like everybody knows your name.

We’ve been a few times to this beautiful restaurant and it never disappoints. The food is delicious and cooked fresh. Staff are always very friendly and can’t do enough. It is a little pricey but we are happy to pay it once in a while as it’s very much worth it. Highly recommend the pork belly and also the chocolate brownie. Wow! Only downside I would say is how small it is. We never go at busy times as I know having anxiety I wouldn’t enjoy the atmosphere of being packed in like you are. They always have offers on too which is good for the pocket. Absolute hidden gem in Crosby that comes highly recommended by us

Absolutely love the tree house, never had a bad meal here. Today I had the buffalo chicken nachos followed by the burger, both were lovely. My friend had the lasagne which had big chunks of beef in it, he loved it! Definitely worth a visit

We’ve been here before and had really good meals and service, plus left excellent reviews, after today though we were disappointed. My wife ordered the beef wrap dish, the wraps were a) prepacked , not made on premises as this would “stress out the chef” and b) cold, I ordered a starter as a main, Fish cake with sweet potato fries, the fries were both burnt and very hard, the meal wasn’t good enough, the waitress juggled the bill to give us £2 off,

Last minute booking. The food was great and staff very friendly. It was the last night before it closed for refurb, cant wait for it to re-open

Went with my wife, 3 young kids, and my parents at 16:30 on a saturday for my mum's 65th birthday. The food was very nice, hot and fresh, and was excellent value. But more importantly, the service was brilliant. We were made to feel very welcome, they didn't ignore the kids, and didn't charge us for my mum's food as it was her birthday. Precisely the kind of service that makes you immediately think of going back. Perfect place for a family tea or a casual meal. Well done.

Went here on a saturday daytime for a meal and it was gorgeous. The staff were so lovely and attentive, service was second to none. Everyone had a lovely time. I would deffinately go back. It was such good value for money too. Highly reccomend.

excellent meal (yet again) staff are so welcoming warm and friendly, we have been going every two weeks now for a while and not been disappointed, My only slight criticism is that the plates could be warmer.

This was a very special meal for a family group of 3 generations. The decor is delightful with a tree 'growing' from the centre & spreading its branches overhead. We all loved the menu, including vegetarian family members. So much to choose from for every course. The crab & avocado starter was innovative & delicious & the belly pork with perfectly cooked crackling, served with mash blended with black pudding & pancetta was magnificent. The next lovely surprise was the price because on the Monday evening menu, the starter or dessert is all but free in the 2 course option. This was exceptional value for such delicious food. The service was also perfect. Now we need an excuse to visit again soon!

We came here yesterday for a Sunday dinner and to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and yet again had a fantastic meal! We are so pleased our friends introduced us to this place as we don’t live local, we come over from St. Helens, and it’s worth the journey!

Had lunch today after a visit to Crosby Beach. Fantastic choice of food. I had sweet potato curry with chicken. Absolutely fantastic. 14.95 for 2 courses. Food cooked freshly. Lovely atmosphere and amazing friendly staff. Would definitely go again even though I live in North Wales

Went to the Tree House this evening with a group of friends. The two courses for £14.95 deal was fabulous value for money and the choice of food offered was extensive, even including the specials in the deal. Service was friendly + the manager took the time to come over + chat to us. The food when it arrived was delicious. The one vegetarian in the group was very positive about the choice available,the server even suggested some vegan options. Very impressed with the selection of wines, we went for a NZ sauvignon blanc + a Merlot from Chile for the group. Always a welcoming ambience there- why bother going to Liverpool city centre when this gem is on your doorstep?

We went for a date night and my god the food was to die for ! I had the lamb for my main and was the best meal I’ve probably ever ate it was cooked to perfection, also had a prawn starter what was delicious and the red wine was fabulous ! The chef literally needs an award because he/she is an amazing cook!
