Lovely menu and lots of flexibility about how to have it cooked or what accompaniments to have with it. We surfed and turfed, but the breaded monkfish cheeks and the scallops were great starters and desserts nice to. All lovely and if you book a room deal you don't have to go far. The rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We were in Rosemary at the front. Their website is a good representation of what to expect.

My wife and I shared a starter platter of Lobster Mac and Cheese, Scallops and Turbot all 3 were amazing, I want the recipe for the sauce In the Mac and Cheese.

Butlers Restaurant & Bar

20/11/2018: This is a nice place to go for a drink. Before, or after dinner, this place is ideal for that extra drink. Staff are friendly, and the bar area is compact and smart. We have not eaten in here yet, but have plans to try it out soon.
19/10/2018: Came here for Sunday lunch it was nice but i feel a little expensive for the amount you got and my partners beef wasn't very good but to be fair they did deduct the puddings to apologies so all was fair in the end the puddings were divine. I would visit again but not every week

The Gravy Boat

01/10/2018: We were taken here yesterday by friends that have moved to the area from Wales. One of the friends is a celiac and finds this restaurant excellent for their gluten free choices.
30/09/2018: Another visit to the Gravy boat and again I was very impressed. You can choose from the menu or have the carvery. If you can manage a large roast the carvery is very good value for money so leave plenty of room. We settled for ice cream for dessert. Excellent service and very helpful staff make sure that you have a good visit. Very accessible and easy to get around with a disable toilet downstairs. A fantastic place to eat and catch up with friends.
