We love this place! From a quiet lunch to a special occasion or attending their Beer & Cider Festival we always leave full and happy.

We chose Three Tuns for Mothers Day and My Grandaughters 5th Birthday and Definitely wasn’t disappointed, the food was excellent even for the youngest. The atmosphere was very welcoming, relaxed and friendly didn’t feel like we were being rushed. I’m from London but I would definitely go here again.

We're lucky to be in the same village as this pub and have had 100+ meals there. Food is always lovely, as are the staff. Daily specials are always a treat in addition to the regular menu. There is always a fantastic selection for local beer, ales and cider. The owners also do their utmost to select as many ingredients for food from as many local suppliers as possible. There's a separate restaurant area to the right as you walk in the front door as well as seating in the main and side bar. Hops hand from the beamed ceiling and it has a nice old rustic feel. The pub has a very welcoming and warm feel to it. The main bar has especially cosy feel with the fires lit during the colder seasons. There is plenty of space in the beer garden, and both inside and out are dog friendly. It was always busy, and you need to book to ensure a table! We highly recommend the pub and food!

Fantastic village pub offering an extensive menu. I always liked visiting this pub; excellent food and it used to have a pub cat. 😻 Back for the first time in a couple of years, we didn’t book and were lucky enough to get last available table in the bar on a Saturday lunchtime. Food menu is extensive and portions are generous. Fantastic steak ciabatta with mushroom pate to start. Very nice. Big onion rings and chips on the side. Big specials menu as well. The beer was Krombacher. Rarely seen but a decent pils. No room for pudding this time, but excellent previously and one to have. Small car park but you can park in nearby streets if full; so not a deal breaker. Whole baked Camembert on the menu. That you like to see. Will have that next time for sure.

Our second lunch visit but with friends this time, they thoroughly enjoyed it as did we. Fabulous food and a really lovely place to spend an afternoon, we will definitely return again. Highly recommended.

We had to make a last minute adjustment to original plans for a birthday celebration and didn't expect to get in at the three tuns on Saturday. However we rang at around lunch time and were pleasantly surprised that they could fit in our table for 8 at 4.15. We were delighted to get the lovely little room which is quite private. Despite the last minute booking everything was absolutely perfect. The staff were really lovely and attentive, the food was beautiful and the general atmosphere was convivial. Nothing could have been better. A big thank you to all the staff on Saturday.

Food and Beer is always good here and have been visiting for years. What every good village needs (a good pub)!

Visited here last week as hadn’t been for a while and the last time meal was not good so decided to give it another go. Meal was awful absolutely no presentation at all. I had gallop burger and sweet potato fries the meal was like warm burger and fries just thrown on a plate, no burger bun it was a white bread roll that wasn’t even toasted no kind of sauce at all in burger. My husband had gammon egg and chips, chips were more like wedges but sickly white and hard eggs. Food here years ago use to be amazing but sadly has seriously gone downhill which is a real shame as a lovely pub

Perfect. Wonderful place to visit, super relaxing atmosphere, excellent food, we visit their regularly. Highly recommended

Very nice pub, food was great, had beef burger which was really big, scoth egg starter again very good and runny egg. Uses a lot of local business to supply its food and bar. Drinks, standard world lager range, draught IPA, just 3 out of 6 hand pulls on but still all 3 different and included a stout. Prices were good, service good with out being over the top. Definitely recommend

I was very impressed by what I saw on my visit to The Three Tuns. Everything about the decor is clean and sparkling, as was as cosy and inviting. My friends and I enjoyed a nice lunch, sitting at a round table, which made conversation easy. I chose Fish Pie and was delighted by its appearance and flavour. There were certainly no complaints from my friends regarding their choice. The table service was polite and unobtrusive, the menu easy to understand and the final payment process smooth and conducted efficiently. I would highly recommend The Three Tuns as a venue for parties, gatherings and intermit rendevues.

same old crap that you get in all Kent pubs when you order a Stake. one large mushroom and a uncooked slice of a tomato seems all pubs and I have tried lots in Kent do the same. it is just lazy NO WAY DOES A CHEFF DISH THAT UP. YOU MUST HAVE EX POT WASHERS COOKING. what is wrong with veg???. carrots, green beans, brussels, cauliflower, cabbage, parsnips, peas, broccoli, asparagus, IT IS JUST LAZY COOKING

What a beautiful pub this is! Having travelled down south from Essex earlier today and had previously been made aware of this pub, so we figured we would pay it a visit on our way back home. First mistake was not booking ahead, but the staff couldn't be more helpful in making sure we could get a table somewhere and still order some food. The selection was amazing but with the promise of a Sunday roast available it was a simple choice. A short wait and we were presented with our food and it was amazing, great roast potatoes and wonderfully cooked beef, really warm and filling. All in all well worth a visit if you're in the area and we can't wait to be passing by again.

Good food at reasonable prices - we had pies (nice selection) with mash. Service was the right balance of attentive and leaving us to enjoy the food. No automatic service charges, thanks for not forcing that on us!

Nice place service good and friendly despite being very busy

This was our first time here but certainly won't be the last. We all had quite different meals, including a pasta dish, a curry and good old pie & veg. All the food was outstanding with excellent portion sizes and the desserts were also delicious. The decor and atmosphere is great and all of the staff were very polite and courteous. Honestly can't think of anything negative to say; a lovely place.

Tasty, delicious and homely. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the service is knowledgeable and efficient. I had family visiting that have never been to England. So for their first experience of an English pub lunch there's no where better. Thank you very much everyone loved their pre wedding lunch. We will definitely come again soon. One more scotch eggs are just the best!

The food was amazing, so perfectly cooked, I had salmon which was delicious. One of my friends had fish and chips which was lovely.

Having taken my mum there recently for a birthday meal, we were impressed by the specials and variety and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, though service was a little slow. We returned recently and had a similar experience, we took the family out and found again that the service was a little lacking, not terrible, but just not to the standard we would expect for a place that has a reputation for really good food. We had to ask someone to take our orders twice for mains and deserts, and the check back came before anyone could really eat anything off their plate. When we asked about someone taking our desert order, we was informed the guy is taking orders on another table and will be with us shortly. Having worked in the service industry for a number of years I found this a little disconcerting given that the person could have taken the order for us on their colleagues' behalf instead of making us wait even longer than we already had. I will leave a tip based on service, and unfortunately, on this occasion, I did not. I did however leave something for the young lady on the bar who we witnessed deal with an extremely rude lady when we arrived, and she was impeccable. Food is great, just maybe try to visit in a quieter period, cider selection is also amazing but be sure to check the chalk board at the back the bar as it wasn't so obvious to my old eyes, parking can also be a bit premium as we discovered someone had blocked some other patrons in when we was leaving

Visited for a casual Family lunch, Food was generally good and well presented. One of our party had a Chicken dish which after cutting appeared to be under cooked in the middle, with red Blood seeping, This was pointed out to staff who apologies, stated that the dish would not be charged on the bill and offered alternatives, Our party member chose a Nacho dish which she was happy to pay for as an alternative, when the replacement disc was served the staff member again apologised, and stated that the as a token of good will that the Nacho dish would be 'Free of Charge'. When the Bill was received, we paid 'Without checking'. After then looking closely at the bill we noticed that both the Chicken dish and the Nacho dish where charged and paid for, one of our party spoke to a staff member regarding this, who offered a part refund on chicken dish, stating 'half of the chicken dish had been eaten' and 'the Nacho dish was not offered as free of charge', staff attitude became rude and verbally aggressive with raised voices, and ended with a door being slammed by one staff member. Have eaten here many times in the past without problem, such a shame that we and our extended family, friends, and many business contact will not be back soon.

We again visited the restaurant and enjoyed well cooked meals of a fillet steak and chilli con carne, both were beautifully cooked and tasty, service was first class. We enjoy visiting this restaurant because of its relaxed atmosphere, efficient staff and well cooked food at an affordable price. Can’t wait until we revisit.

Lovely pub and staff are always friendly, food can be a bit hit and miss. I had fish chabbata which was amazing but hubby had beef stroganoff, the meat was tough and the sauce was not like any stroganoff he's had before. It was also disappointing that they no longer sell pinot grigio by the glass anymore

Fish and pork schnitzel were over cooked and dry. Beef stroganoff had a lovely sauce but the beef was chewy. Upon mentioning a 20% discount was given off one of the meals. Not our first visit and previous have been better. Shame..!! Service great.

As usual The Three Tuns was absolutely fantastic! They catered for my birthday, a large table of 11 and everything was fabulous. The food came out quickly and perfectly cooked, everything so super hot and up to standards. I cannot recommend this pub enough, we come so often and every-time it’s just absolutely brilliant, the staff are so kind and very good with fitting in needs and wants. There’s a small parking lot or ample parking on the road outside and around the village. 10/10 recommend anyone to visit for any occasion.

Decided to celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthday at The Three Tuns. Wanted a relaxed atmosphere, nice food and a secluded area to have our celebration and that is exactly what we got. From start to finish the process was great. Everything went smoothly and members of our party had a great time and enjoyed their food. A big thank you to Carol and her team for being organised, attentive and producing some lovely meals.

Went for a farthers day meal allways had good food and service when we have visited but!! today the chicken dinner would have been ok but was let down by the chewy and burnt Yorkshire and the same with the tiny tiny ! stuffing balls . But this has not put us of going to this pub again . We all have our of days .

Ordered a chicken burger which turned out to be a grilled chicken breast cut into two and placed into an almost raw bun. Not exactly adhered to trading descriptions here ! Frustrating when you see staff coming to tables to deliver food and going back with empty trays not checking in their other tables , very inefficient and needs a lot of training . No service checks on food either . Saying that they are friendly. Been once before and the food was good , after this not sure I’d come back or recommend the place

A nice atmosphere,a lovely looking pub. I had the roast beef,the beef was cooked perfectly but I felt the rest of the meal needed improving. Roast potatoes didn't look that appealing however were quite tasty. The veg was overcooked and could have been presented better and not cut in thin strips. I felt the gravy was a big let down. Definately no juices from the meat and very bland watery quickly made. I was a little dissapointed with the desert menu,not to my taste. A main chocolate desert would have been lovely,chocolate torte,chocolate brownie anything like that!

We had a family gathering at the three tuns yesterday for 30+ people. The staff, the venue, and the food was 5 star. I can’t recommend them enough. Plus my ultra fussy brother said “That’s the best scotch egg I’ve ever had” High praise indeed. 👍

Very nice pub with friendly staff. We only had a drink, but from what we saw, the food came our beautifully presented and people seemed to be enjoying it. Will be coming back again to try the food ourselves.

Lovely pub, very attractive inside and a large garden area. The food is excellent and home cooked rather than frozen. Drink is a reasonable price compared to some other pubs in the area.

We had very high expectations after reading the reviews, but turned out to be very disappointed. The food was rather tasteless if not for the extra sauces, and the waiting time was horrific - may be tolerable if visiting with friends and willing to down a few pints before even seeing your food, but absolutely avoid if you need to feed your hungry kids.

Really lovely place. Was invited by friends and glad we accepted. Had a lovely welcome by a lady inside. Shown to a really nice table. Good excellent - nice to see liver on the menu (YES!!!!!! Hi, Visited the pub on Friday 17th Feb 2023 for lunch. I had the Scallops off the specials board for a starter and my wife had the Nachos. 3 scallops arrived on a plate with a smear of cauliflower puree and some pomegranate seeds. Not worth the near £10 cost. My wife's nachos were good though with sour cream, cheese and sliced chilli. For main I chose the maple glazed belly pork off the main menu. It was quite small served with a few pieces of pork crackling and some cubes of baked sweet potato and roasted pak choi. There was no juice or gravy around the pork which it needed because it was overcooked and quite dry, not the juicy moist pork that it should have been. If it had been fantastic it would still struggle to justify £19.95 for this amount of food. My wife had Beef brisket served on a bed of mash with a gravy/ju from the specials board and she enjoyed it. The beef was very tender. A glass of white wine and a pint of Krone bourg 1664 was nearly £15. So a tale of two halves, my meal very disappointing but my wife's choices better but her main was pricey for what it was at £19.95. Overall I think quite expensive for a "pub" meal and pushing the extreme for drinks prices.

We have eaten here many times but this was our first Sunday lunch. Well it really was fabulous. Roast beef was cooked to perfection. Pink in the middle but very very tender. Homemade Yorkshire’s perfect. No faults at all. Perfect Sunday roast!!

Visited this evening for a catch-up with some friends. This was my first time visiting and loved it! From the friendly staff and very welcoming owner to the decor and the stunning food! I picked the 2-course meal from the festival menu and it was damn good! For starters, I had the wild boar and for my main(see the picture) I had the braised belly pork with blue cheese mash. It was stunning. Very well priced for the quantity and quality. The pub itself is a traditional pub with a touch of modernity. The roaring fire just near the entrance was a welcoming sight. Certainly worth several visits! I would suggest booking ahead, we were lucky they were able to accommodate us. You can see why this pub is successful.
