This is one of the Best Portuguese Restaurants 🇵🇹 in the all of the UK. Very Friendly Staff especially Carol who is actually the Best waitress in the UK😉 The food tastes very good especially the beef skewers. Fully recommend it❤️

It's proper. Real food. Love this place. If you want fine dining, go into Town. Spend £300. If you want rubbish food, go to a Pub and get Diabetes. Best food is right here.

This is a regular of mine. The food here is incredibly good, I highly recommend the fish stew (I like to share a portion as it’s so big). The service always comes with a smile, and the beer is always cold.

All the staff are marvellous except for Jose who is lovely but useless! Great food, great atmosphere and service - we love this place . Keep it up!

Today went there because of the fame. Ordered a seafood rice. Big portion and a lot of seafood. One thing that could be better is perhaps using more starchy rice? So it won’t be as watery. The tomatoes also could be better, but I think that’s a uk problem instead.

Really tasty food and a good portion size (2 portions will have you both stuffed) good house wine - couldn’t believe it was £3 a BIG glass. Had very friendly service! I recommend booking

Very delicious food and reasonable price. Good place for drinking with friends in dinner. The SEAFOOD RICE was a little bit too salty but generally good and seafood was fresh🤩. Recommend the HOUSE WINE. All the staff are kind and patient

Authentic simple place with special atmosphere, the biggest portions, great Espetada and the best value house wine in London.

Service and food were both good despite the restaurant being very busy. Wine by the carafe (£6 for half a litre) works out better than by the bottle (£15) as we discovered. Chose meals from the menu the first time and had a couple of the daily specials yesterday (10th August) ... Bonus for me was that they accepted AMEX for payment !

Great place to eat typically cooked Portuguese food with a good selection of beverages. The selection of wines could be wider as Portugal is one of the main producers in Europe and some low-cost and exquisite options came to the market recently but I'm sure they will update. Overall it is a lovely gastronomic experience in a relaxed and vibrant environment near the heart of London.

Visited for mothers day, wow it was delicious! We had the roasted baby goat, I could not finish it as is a huge dinner includes potatoes salad rice and roasted onions, the flavours from the goat was fab and it was succulent. My daughter had a sirloin steak and that was massive, it was cooked to perfection (she gave me a taste) that's what I will have next time fries rice and salad was served with the sirloin. Staff were just great attentive, not over bearing. Good value meal. no service charges! We will be regulars here

Fantastic Portugese cafe/restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. On this occasion I had breakfast there and the portion sizes were great and reasonably priced too. Quite a few options and also good quick service.

Great food and good value for money

I came here to meet a friend who chose it when the the nearer local cafe was closed. What a fab surprise. Lovely and light. Clean and welcoming. I had an Espresso that came in a tiny yet chubby cup (just how I like it served) The food looked delicious so we will definitely come and try it on another day. The coffees came to £2 and my friend thought that was for one. We were so surprised. The girl who served us was delightful. I love the local Portuguese community where I live. Will def come again.

On the 25 of June we booked a table for my husband birthday I can’t recommend enough how good the staff was and the owner , we were literally 1h late as we have small children and still they did manage to give us the table. Very friendly and attentive staff , the waitress that was serving us went the extra mile to make sure everything was fine. The food of course was amazing 🤩 Definitely we will go back again , this restaurant is by far the best one we ever went in Stockwell, .

Visited January 21 as I live in the area they offer delightful snacks or meals currently takeaway. This restaurant has remained open during all lockdowns offers a valuable eating experience for the local community.

Nada mas al llegar la camarera nos trato muy mal.. tenía una reserva y nos dijo que no podíamos entrar con el carrito de bebé Y le dije que cuando hice la reserva dije que llevaba carrito.. su respuesta fue: pues para la próxima no puedes entrar.. al final me dijo que espere de muy mala manera.. me quede con ganas de probar la comida qué pena

If you pass in front of this establishment, you will barely notice it or definitely you would not expect much judging by the dated look, but I think it is the most authentic Portuguese restaurant in London. Portions are huge and ridiculously cheap! I recommend the T-bone steak, and a bottle of Vinho Verde to wash it down. Very friendly service from Antonio also

Lovely place on south lambeth road! Very good value for money and good portion sizes too. One of the specials for day was roasted chicken which came with fries, rice & salad. It was very nice, the service was very good too and would certainly recommend this place and also be going again for sure! One of the best places on south Lambeth road.

First time I was charged a fee for the washing of the cloths and napkins. Thought that it wasn't correct. Staff was alright and the food was average. Won't return after that charge.

I have ordered Steak with Mushrooms via uber eats and I loved it. It is a traditional Portuguese dish you can find in any restaurants in Portugal. It came with a big portion of rice, salad and fries. If you eat well, it would probably last you for 2 meals.

Food is good, great atmosphere and Carolina is always friendly. I love the beef skewer and Papa Figo red wine. Special of the day are often very good as well.

The entire meal was perfect. Great flavors. Perfectly cooked fish. The crispy crunchy pave potatoes...amazing. I highly recommend not sharing the potatoes.We all had the lunch menu but various selections. I had the beetroot gazpacho followed by the Hake. Great service and flavours.

Há uns dias atrás encontrei-me com uns amigos que não via à muito neste restaurante. Ao entrar parece mesmo que estamos em Portugal.. Televisão portuguesa, alguns objectos dos clubes de futebol e as mesas com toalhas (coisa que raramente se he em terras de sua majestade). O staff é muito simpatico e gala português. A comida é bastante boa. Comemos uma espetada com milho frito que estava deliciosa assim como o pudim. Se quiserem matar saudades de Portugal aconselho.

Chances upon this place to avoid a downpour. It was busy, the football was on the Telly but I decided to stay for dinner. Service was excellent, food was incredible (a huge tuna steak) and prices were unbelievable. I look forward to returning

Exceptionally good no-nonsense Portuguese fare in this fairly basic but hugely popular restaurant. Vegetable soup, Dourada (Golden Sea Bream) with carrots, boiled potatoes and broccoli - the best I've had yet in a Portuguese restaurant in London - a half-litre jar of house white, sparkling water, Baba de Camelo (dessert), coffee and Bagaso all or under £30. Great food and service at a great price. If you're going to eat here on a weekend evening, it's advisable to book.

He visitado aquí varias veces y todavía creo que sirven el mejor bistec. Opté por un bistec con ajo y papas (lo siento, no recuerdo cómo se llama, pero es 20 en el menú), que es un poco más caro que los otros artículos, pero vale la pena. El personal es educado y servicial. Incluyendo una pequeña jarra de vino tinto, la factura era inferior a 30.

Tuvimos una comida maravillosa en este pequeño barrio. Nunca habíamos probado comida portuguesa y estaba delicioso. Las raciones son generosas. Muchas de las opciones son más que suficientes para que dos personas las compartan. Mi marido me encantó el bistec servido con salsa y arroz. Tuve la carne en un pincho y fue muy bueno. Nuestros miembros de la familia también les encantaron sus opciones de pasta. Todos nos llevamos a casa las sobras.

This place has excellent food. Try their steak for 2 people. It was enough for three of us. It was the best steak I tried in Europe.

Voor 5.5 pound een 'full English brealfast'. Een bord vol met heerlijk voedzaam eten, met koffie of thee. Het is een Portugees restaurantje, het zat vol met gezellig babbelende Portugezen. Ik heb erg genoten!

Estive com o meu marido e meu bebê para almoçar e nós simplesmente ficamos maravilhados com a comida! Pedimos sardinhas na brasa como entrada e como pratos principais, Bacalhau à Brás e Costela com batatas.

Visited The Three Lions with a Portuguese friend of mine. Its not a fancy place, but has a fantastic atmosphere. The food is great and plentiful. Had octopus baked in olive oil which was fantastic and Arroz de Marisco – Portuguese Seafood Rice (wonderful). Am looking forward to my new visit - can't wait.

Service is slow, restaurant has no vent system so your clothes will smell like burning food, waiting staff, especially male that served me, unprofessional and with lack of manner, simply rude. Not coming back again and will make sure that all of my friends/family will not go there as well. Would give 0 stars if it was possible.

As we say in Spain, we came here because of "Boca a boca". A True hidden gem. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff amazing, and prices are good. We felt like we are back in our peninsula. Thank you so much neighbors. I missed a place like this! A true bar.

Fuimos aquí con grandes expectativas. Hay un rumor real sobre el lugar, lamentablemente el rumor resultó ser más en línea con un café de transporte. Las porciones son grandes, pero la calidad de la carne era bastante pobre. La paella estaba demasiado hecha. El servicio era bueno, sin embargo, y el vino fue una excelente relación calidad-precio.

Mi esposa, mis dos hijas y yo fuimos a cenar después de que los otros miembros de nuestro grupo hicieron algo más para cenar. Dejamos nuestro hotel en busca de buena comida después de mirar las reseñas y fuimos a buscar un tipo diferente de comida. Caminamos durante unos veinte minutos y caminamos junto a Los Tres Leones cuando trajeron una olla de barro de estofado a los clientes junto a la ventana. Después de ver cómo caían los clientes, me convencí de que era mejor intentarlo y todos los que comieron allí dijeron que era nuestra mejor comida en Londres. Tengo tres damas rubias en mi vida, así que cuando entramos, era obvio que no éramos del área. Estoy seguro de que había otras indicaciones, pero fue un poco extraño cuando obtuvimos la "mirada" de todos. Una vez hecho esto, nos trataron muy bien y servimos comida deliciosa a excelentes precios. Los espaguetis para los más jóvenes, especiales del día, estofado de ternera con fideos, para la esposa y yo, y un bistec y un huevo para la hija mayor eran enormes y bastante sabrosos. Ojalá hubiera obtenido el nombre de nuestro servidor porque nos cuidó muy bien y creo que desarrolló una afinidad por mi hijo menor. Además, podrían haberse aprovechado de nosotros y habernos vendido más comida de la que necesitábamos, pero él nos dijo que el estofado serviría dos, y honestamente, podría habernos servido a los cuatro. Si tienes la oportunidad, este es un gran lugar para obtener una gran comida a un precio excelente.

Staff, food, location and atmosphere, all good

From outside, this restaurant doesn’t look nice. But when you are inside you can see is ok, and downstairs is very well decorated. The food are really good, cod is fresh and the plates are very good portion. But don’t eat to much as you need to leave space on your stomach for the dessert which is again big portion and very taste. The staff are all the time checking over the clients so you do not need to wait. It is very Portugués. Sure we will repeat again!!

Después de darme cuenta de que hay un fuerte enclave portugués en esta parte de Londres, mi compañero y yo decidimos que la cocina portuguesa sería la de esta noche. Ciertamente, no nos decepcionó con los Tres Leones. Nos recibieron en el restaurante extremadamente amable donde los anfitriones eran serviciales, la comida era excelente y el ambiente era portugués. Pasamos una noche maravillosa y recomendaríamos los Tres Leones a cualquiera.

I love that restaurant, is Portuguese, and when you are inside you'll feel like in Portugal, the meat is awesome and the prices are really good, they always give all the plates with rice, salad and fries.
