Friendly staff, fast service great beer and spirit selection selection and tasty pizzas. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

The Three Johns is just around the corner from the office I work out of when in London, and it is the perfect lunch spot. It tackles the ever-rising lunch costs by providing affordable pizzas - that are incredibly delicious, but still give you the option to upgrade and add on for those days when you are up for spending a little more and feeling a bit fancy, The base was perfect and held up strong despite being loaded with toppings and there was a great selection of dips on offer. The service was super friendly and a huge plus that we could bring our furry friends (pets, not hairy colleagues) along. And for lunch, importantly they were very efficient and we didn't wait long for our food at all.

My daughter and I came for the Monday night quiz. £2 per person entry with 2 spot drink prizes and a £50 bar tab for winner and a bottle of wine for the runner up. Challenging questions and a really good quiz. Fabulous, affordable pizzas, great selection of beers and wine plus really lovely staff. What are you waiting for?

It’s a great venue for good pizza (they are a must!), drinks and hanging out with friends listening to 90s music! Always very lively.

I booked an area in The Three Johns to celebrate a birthday for around 30 people in Feb 2024. It was very easy to book by ringing up, the manager Daniel was very helpful and made sure that we all had a good time. Great selection of drinks, and the pizza is really good! Good atmosphere and music, overall would highly recommend.

Tom was an excellent server. He was very friendly and helpful and attentive. Would be so happy to have him as my server again :)

Best pizza I ever ate in a pub. Even in a fancy Italian restaurant, I’d be more than satisfied with that level of quality. They also try their best to find space for anyone, service is quick and friendly. Beer selection is also really decent.

The Three Johns is a sweet spot that nails the pub-pizza combo. The vibes are homey, very welcoming! The pizza is really yummy and goes so well with the craft beer! Not to mention they have a really good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks! Holly – she's great and so lovely! The service was quick and attentive. Long story short, The Three Johns is where it's at for pizza lovers and craft beer fans. The staff are all really lovely and they even have a quiz night! Reccomended visit from me!

I had not been to the Three Johns since the pandemic and nothing’s changed. I was there last night with some friends and both the service & atmosphere were great. And what about the sensational pizzas. These are to die for. I’ll definitely pop back in during lunch break to grab one and bring it to work. Much better than your average over priced sandwiches you can find in high street shops these days…

Popped in her in a Saturday night for some drinks before dinner. It was very busy and we hadn’t booked, which one of the staff apologised for but they managed to find us a table very quickly. We were looked after and served drinks throughout our stay and it was lovely to have a variety of non alcoholic options. Great atmosphere, lovely decor

Great pub for my informal birthday get together. The staff, food and drinks are always great. There was a large number of us with a lot of kids but at no time was this an issue for the staff. They were excellent as was the food and we all had a great afternoon. Many thanks to everyone who works there.

I visited this pub when I found myself at a loose end on a business trip. I had been here before in the Summer when I had sat outside because it was lovely weather but this time I wanted to sit inside. It was surprisingly busy, but the manager found me a nice little table. The manager took the time to explain the beers on tap, and I settled for a very tasty rotational sour. I had a Classic Margarita pizza with a garlic dip which was delicious. I loved the sourdough base (I make my own sourdough bread) and the chef took the trouble to stop by and say hello, after I told the staff I really loved the pizza. This pub has a cosy yet vibrant atmosphere, great service and clean tables and loos (which are important to me!) and I will definitely be going back.

Booked at table to meet up with friends post holidays, beers, chat and pizza. Very good venue, good table service, excellent pizzas and nice atmosphere. Could have more cask ale on but tricky time of year for pubs so understand. Yep, I'd certainly recommend.

Came here on NYE for food & drinks to see in the New Year and was treated to an excellent time! The pizzas were excellent, proper Neapolitan Pizza, and the service was fantastic! Great selection of beers and wines, even the Champagne flowed too easily! Overall, an excellent pub in Angel and will definitely go again in the area!

I got the Armando Paestum when I visited and it was the best pizza I've had in London The friendly staff, lovely building and great selection of beers on tap make this place a must-visit if you're around Angel

I love this spot and chilled vibe, it’s just round the corner from my work so we all visit for drinks frequently. Only short walk from the station. You can also grab a bite and pizzas are delicious. Will be back

One of the best pubs in Islington! Great chilled out atmosphere removing you from the bustling of the city for a while. Food/drink is fantastic and the staff from the bar to kitchen are all outstanding and very personable. Will definitely be popping in again when I am in the area!

This is the second time we've chosen this pub to start an ex-work colleagues Christmas Do. Plenty of space, great staff, great pizzas, good range of beer, spot-on atmosphere and a perfect location to start exploring Islington's brilliant range of pubs. There was only minor moan - no hot drinks. One of our gang of 7 (average age 68.5!) doesn't drink and wanted a coffee with his pizza.

Great pub, lovely atmosphere and amazing service always from Holly! Without a doubt every week, Holly will have our order ready when we walk through the door, couldn’t recommend enough!

The pizzas are so good (thin handmade ones) and the lunch menu is great value for money. It’s a nice looking pub with a chill (but busy!) vibe, tasty cocktails, and the staff are really nice and welcoming too! I love it :)

The pub is modern but in a lovely old building with history. As pizza is not my favourite food I was pleasantly surprised how delicious and moorish they were and such good value.they

What a great pub! We were in town visiting family and happened upon this gem. The beer selection gave us so many choices for a great beer. Next the pizza; to call it craft pizza might be an understatement. So, so delicious! Lastly, the service was fantastic. The staff was there with a smiling face and great advice on the food or drinks. Almost forgot the vibe. Will definitely visit again when we are back in London.

This is a must visit pub if you’re near the Angel area of Islington. The architecture is something to see, and it just feels right. A half decent selection of drinks, and the big home made pizzas look more than decent. The chap behind the bar was very friendly and stopped to chat, not always what you expect in central London.

Chose to walk extra from Kings to our Airbnb. We zig-zag thru streets and decided to stop for a beer. What an Amazing Surprise. Reat beer selection with Yummy IPA's. The pizza was better than any we get in America. We returned with our whole group so they could experience a great pub. Love all the copper. Lisa

A little gem just off Chapel Market, great selection of beers & the pizza was incredible! Staff were attentive and friendly, great table service and the vibe around the pub was excellent, would highly recommend!

The bartender Lilly is an artisan of the alcoholic beverage world. She was absolutely lovely! The bar esthetic was nice, music & breeze appreciated. Whatever Lilly is making wage wise double it she is a magician behind the bar!

Bar person was a bit sniffy, but it didn’t seem representative of the whole. Whilst I didn’t eat the pizzas I saw come out looked amazing

We arrived for a spot of lunch right at the beginning of the lunch session so it was very quiet inside. But what an amazing pub. Pizza was amazing. Really friendly staff.

Came in for friend’s birthday drinks on a Saturday and it was the best experience in a while! First of all the atmosphere was welcoming, fun, warm and the team were all clearly happy to be there. A few people had a sing along to the amazing playlist that was on! We had a couple of pizzas and these were fabulous- thank you to chef Davide

Visited this pub for a drink, and was pleasantly surprised at how pretty and spacious it is inside! Only thing to note though, is that they only serve pizza for food, no other snacks or types of food available. That said, the pizzas looked amazing - so worth a try! I would definitely visit again!

Very cool bar in Angel, loads of space and trendy decor. Have a small outdoor area out front that gets good afternoon sun. Great range of craft beers plus do the full spectrum of wines, spirits, ciders, etc.

The vibe was good, but spoiled by the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of one of it's female employees. Spoke to the manager who didn't even want to listen to her customer and was much worse than the employee herself..Keep off from this place..there are better places around. I am editing my review again as I am baffled seeing the reply. Whoever is this if its a manager, you don't deserve to do any jobs anywhere. If she is the owner, you are not fit to do this business... Every line you have replied is a lie...LIAR.. If you had a bit of shame, you should not have justified with blatant lies... Keep off from this frauds...

Rude bartenders. Were too busy talking to each other and giving nasty glares to the people waiting to be served. Made rude remarks about the customers while they could hear them making comments. Disgusting customer service.

Last night at johns I had the pleasure of being served by Tara. She made me the best margarita I've ever had! The drink was perfectly balanced and had just the right amount of tequila. Tara's friendly and attentive service made my experience even better. I highly recommend visiting The johns and asking for Tara to make you a margarita.

My friends and I are in London for a few days and we were looking for a great English pub that served exceptional cocktails, not only beer. Look no further than The Three John’s. Tara, one of the managers, made me one of the best margaritas that I’ve ever had. I am super picky. She was very professional and listened to me about exactly what I wanted and made it to perfection. Also, don’t skip the pizza! Sourdough Nepalese type crust was the best. I just wish that this was closer to home. Oh, well…

Visited here a couple of times, most recently Saturday. I've always enjoyed the atmosphere, traditional pub right in the city. Was served by Tara on Saturday, she was professional and had a lovely attitude, and thankfully entertained my requests when I told her to "surprise me" with a drink of her choice. Most barstaff hate me for that so massive cudos! The attitude of the staff is what would bring me back again. Good group of people.

Always looked after by Tara and Harri. Their service is top notch and I'd definitely recommend this place for a good time. Can't fault it or the team.

Gem of a pub in the heart of Angel, the decor is lovely and cosy and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating! And not the mention the exquisite pizza which left my Italian friends very impressed!
