The Terrace Tapas & Wine Bar in North Devon

Lovely restaurant, great food with fresh ingredients and quite authentic Spanish food, everything we ordered was very tasty my only criticism is that the Spanish tortilla wasn’t really a traditional tortilla, it was more like a potato au gratin but nevertheless it was very tasty, the friendly staff were fabulous too.

Our evening at the Terrace Tapas was amazing. We had the Gambas Pill Pill, Lamb, and Chorizo in Honey and Red Wine. The food was incredible - the prawns had a wonderful kick, the lamb was tender and delicious, and the chorizo was gorgeous with honey and red wine. The restaurant is cozy with a wonderful welcoming atmosphere, which was perfect for a date with my wife. The service was perfect, and the staff recommended the most wonderful wine and cocktails to go with the meal. Overall, the perfect choice for a romantic evening withe incredible food.

We've been to the Terrace on many occasions over the last few years; and the food and service has always been great and tonight did not disappoint. We had the meat and cheese sharing platter to start with...yum yumm yummy! Followed by the prawn, chorizo and black pudding plates...such a treat!!

Just visited this fantastic restaurant. From the moment we walked in the service was excellent. We received a full rundown of both the food and drinks menu. We started with a mojito and a beer and then ordered six different items from the tapas menu and a lovely bottle of red wine. The tapas was one of the best we have had, it was excellent. The service was also first class and I would certainly highly recommend this little gem. The icing on the cake was that our Staffie Stanley was welcomed and had his own blanket by the table and a few treats!!!

As soon as we arrived at The Terrace for our pre-booked evening meal, we were greeted by all the staff who made us feel welcome and comfortable. The restaurant is much more spacious than anticipated, and the atmosphere was relaxed but vibrant at the time we went (7pm). We order a variety of dishes and all were really tasty and reflective of authentic Spanish cuisine. tea,The staff are all very helpful and attentive, but left room for you to enjoy your meal. My wife an I had a lovely time at The Terrence, and the pace of the evening was perfect. Wish we would have booked sooner as this is one of the best finds in Ilfracombe! 100% gets our vote for a lovely evening out. Well done team!!

When a lot of Ilfracombe restaurants are closing for good, or only open for a few nights each week, even in high season, the Terrace is an oasis of great food and decent service. We only go back to restaurants who strive to make their diners' visits memorable ones and the staff at the Terrace always go the extra mile. This time we took our dog and they'd prepared the table with some dog biscuits, a bowl of water and a little blanket for her. The food quality was as great as ever and we'll be back next month to work our way through the rest of the menu!

We had a great experience. The service from our waitress, Joanna, was excellent. Food and wine 5 stars!! Particularly enjoyed the Padron Peppers and the meatballs.
