Great to see The Tearoom open on Sunday, as not many cafes in the vicinity do. We called in for a coffee, but finished up having a very good, warm (just out of the oven) scone and a panini with chips. All very good and very reasonable, with very pleasant staff.

I have visited the cafe before, but today when I visited we had afternoon tea, and it was fantastic. The cafe is located in Cliffe park (which is a wonderful little park in its own right) it has good access and inside it is quaint and traditional. You need to book afternoon tea but otherwise there is a wide menu of cakes, snack and small meals. The afternoon tea was delicious, for £12 we were presented with bottomless tea, a selection of cream cheese, cheese and ham sandwiches, pasties and cakes (individuals brownie, fruit tart, macroon and a raspberry mousse) and cream scone. We were full afterwards and it was all delicious. I would highly recommend and will be visiting again.Service was excellent and other facilities were good.

We filled the tea room to celebrate Mum's 90th birthday. Victoria and her team helped to make the day memorable and special. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared and presented. We were tempted by a wonderful selection of sweet and savoury delights. Lots of tea, our own fizz for the toast and a prettily decorated room made for a relaxing and convivial occasion. Everyone invited complimented The Tea Room on the good service and friendliness. This space is perfect for a celebration and the children made the most of the lovely park too. Thank you!

Victoria let us choose our own menu and she caters for special dietary requirements. It's a lovely venue in a great location with free on site parking. My wife and I visited today with our two daughter's and one of their friends, for some hot drinks and cakes. We arrived very close to closing time (sorry!) but we were made to feel very welcome. Our youngest daughter is allergic to dairy but we were able to order her a soya hot chocolate (not always possible in cafes, as even if they have soya milk, hot chocolate powder often contains dairy). The children's hot drinks were served in good sized plastic cups with handles on, and they were quite thin which was nice as we were able to tell when the drinks were drinking temperature.Along with my coffee (a very nice latte), I ordered a slice of caramel apple cake, made by one of the ladies working in the cafe. It was such a rich and delicious cake it was impossible to hide the fact from my wife, because I didn't want her to pinch any! She tried a bit and, after I got back from taking our youngest to the toilet, I could tell she'd nicked a bit more! The park is a lovely place to take the children with facilities for babies and older, and the cafe is the icing on the cake. It even has a toy corner that kept all of our girls busy while we were there. We'll certainly be back!

Also you take your own wine/beer and very impressively there is no charge for Corkage, other places in Dronfield charge for this, so it is nice to see that Victoria doesn't try to make extra money for this! There are also some toys for the children to play with. There was a lovely selection of sandwiches on the softest bread, cakes to die for and the earl grey tea was really nice, I had two pots and it was in the price. Afternoon tea was just £12 each and £6 for children and you most certainly won't be leaving hungry.I will most definitely be recommending it to everyone I know and I can see myself taking all of my friends there too. I'm not one for writing reviews but this was outstanding so definitely deserves a rave review! I chose this venue to host my daughters Christening celebration as it is a beautiful place and being situated in a popular park it was perfect for the kids.I think we were quite a test for Victoria (a delightful lady who runs the Tearoom) but nothing was too much trouble. There was about 20 adults to cater for and 9 kids of which were 3 vegans 3 vegetarians 3 gluten intolerant. Victoria made a real effort to make sure everyone had what would be expected to be on an Afternoon Tea. Nothing was left out because of the dietary requirements. For the Vegans she made delicate sandwiches of Hummus, Vegan Cheese and pickle and vegan cream cheese and cucumber also very pretty little cakes and scones served with traditional tea in vintage tea pots (with Soya milk). The vegetarians were well catered for with vegetarian ham, cheese and cucumber sandwiches. Beautiful petit fours, cakes and scones. The GFs were over the moon to get sandwiches on gf bread that didn't taste like saw dust and she also made them a delicious cake. For the other guests with no special dietary requirements, they were treated to high class afternoon tea's and Gentleman's tea ( this included ginger beer and pork pies) As this was a special celebration we were allowed to serve a glass of fizz to our guests. We had full exclusivity of this venue and the staff were very helpful and attentive. For the headache I'm sure we caused I think we should have paid double. I can highly recommend this venue especially if you have dietary requirements.

Her scones are lush for with a "special" ingredient that makes them a little bit different from the norm.Nothing was too much trouble for Victoria and her team. We brought our own Prosecco as the tearoom is not licensed but that was no bother, and we paid a little extra for a piano player who was marvelous.Would definitely recommend for a celebratory gathering, or just pop in for tea when you're at the park.

I visited the tea room for the first time yesterday, as a birthday treat for my mum. The food tasted delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. The staff were top notch, very helpful and pleasant. A choice of 14 teas were offered. You could try a few types and then ask for refills. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, thank you :) We will definitely be visiting again.

What a lovely experience !! .. This little tearoom is located right in view of the park, so its ideal for families old and young . It's also great if the kids just want an ice cream and a play whilst the grown ups have a lovely speciality tea and a piece of Victoria's lovely homemade cake whilst being able to supervise their children .It was My Mum's birthday and because we've been before and always had excellent service and lovely food it was only natural that we pre booked, as we had a party of about 11. ( 4 chilldren) Victoria "the owner" not only reserved our table but she was kind enough to decorate it for us with some baloons. To add a final touch and she presented our Mum with a beautiful homemade birthday necklace. The food was lovely as always but I particularly loved trying the rubarb tea today "it was lush"Thank you Victoria and staff for making my mum's birthday so special. We all had a great time and would recommend your little gem of a tearoom to anyone .

My 91 year old disabled father and I had lunch here today and it really was very special for us. We don't get to go many places together and when we do we are not normally particularly welcome! When we first arrived I was a little concerned as the fixed outdoor tables are a little too high for ease of use for a wheel chair user but I had absolutely no reason to be concerned. When I commented on the tables and our desire to stay out in the sunshine to eat instead of the expected non answer I was astounded and delighted! A table from the cosy inside tea room was simply brought outside for us and we were made to feel very welcome. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a delightful lunch. The food was simple but very tasty, the service attentive and we were never rushed or indeed kept waiting too long. I haven't seen my father eat so much in a very long while and it was great to hear him say "it definitely is Good Friday because everything is good today and in particular this chocolate cake." The cafe itself was bustling with a good atmosphere, all the customers and staff seemed happy and relaxed. I think another reviewer said this is a hidden gem and they are right. It is unexpected to find such a lovely place in the park. Thank you The Tea Room we had a very special lunch and I have a memory to treasure. The only thing I would have changed was the cold wind but that one none of us could influence! We would be back on Easter Sunday for the piano music but the weather forecast is dreadful so we will wait until another sunny day and be back!

We moved into the area some 5 years ago and regret not having discovered Vicky and her team earlier than 3 weeks ago. Today we had a terrific 'Mothers Day Tea' with two of 'our' Mum's. Sandwiches, scones and cakes were first rate and, as always, cooked on the premises. The resident pianist, very accomplished, entertaining and yet another 'find' really added to the ambiance.Vicky and her personable, professional team really make this a 'must see'.Highly recommended.

We first discovered The Tearoom on Facebook in 2014 almost by chance. So it's great to be able to say that each and every time we have been there we've enjoyed ourselves. For those wanting a pen picture - it's a lovely tearoom style cafe which doubles as a bistro. Since first going there for tea and coffee (and some rather nice cakes) we have also enjoyed the bistro nights. The service is consistently the tops, just like the food and drink. Victoria is the owner and goes out of her way to ensure everyone enjoys themselves and is happy. Parking is very good. as is access for those with mobility difficulties. Toilets are spotless. My wife is a vegetarian and its great for us to go to one of Victoria's Bistro nights out knowing proper vegetarian food will be served that tastes delicious and the portion size will be the same as for meat eaters. How many 5* hotel and 3* Michelin restaurants do that? But if you like your meat the chicken, fish and lamb dishes are particularly nice. Everything is cooked onsite from fresh produce.

Yesterday my wife and I took shelter from the snow in the Tea room at Cliff Park Dronfield. And we are so glad we did. It was an oasis in a blizzard of white. The staff are friendly and welcoming and didn't mind that we were dripping wet after our walk. My wife had aubergine and tomato bake and I grilled chicken in a pitta pocket, both served with a salad garnish. they were delicious. Two lattes with extra warm milk, and a cherry scone rounded off our lunch all for £16.80 and worth every penny.

After enjoying an afternoon stroll in Dronfield my wife and if walked home through Cliffe Park. Time for a sit down and a cup of tea. Nice little cafe was open with seating inside and outside. Decided to sit outside and ordered two cups of tea at a reasonable price. Of £1 per cup. Nice friendly lady served us by placing a tea bag. In a polystyrene cup putting cold milk on it and topping up with warm water. The look o f this reminded me of bath water . Needless to say will not be visiting again if staff cannot even make a decent cup of tea

You would never imagine such a lovely, quaint tearoom in this building. The outside of the building doesnt do Victoria's tearoom any justice at all. The interior is lovely, the menu choice is very, very good and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful! My visit here was with my partner and his mother and it was lovely! My partner had a peppermint tea and a piece of coffee and walnut cake, his mother had the cream tea which was packed full of cherries and the homemade cherry jam was gorgeous. I had to get the last piece of the frangipane tart and I wasnt disappointed - it was divine!!!!The waitress was lovely and extremely good at her job as she could not do enough for us, we were even offered free refills of tea and coffee!!I must say that the tearoom and staff are wasted in the park venue, they should be somewhere in the middle of the derbyshire tourist areas as Im sure that they would do brilliantThank you

We had an exquisite three course meal with coffee and mints to finish with in this fabulous tea room. It was their Christmas menu evening, the food was very well presented, totally delicious and plentiful. The room was beautifully decorated in a vintage style and lit by candles giving it the most wonderful warm Christmas feeling, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would love to attend one of their Greek Meze evenings in the future.

Popped into this Tearoom on a Sunday morning and found it quiet. Four aduts and two children we all opted for the bacon baps. The youngest grandchild's eyes popped out at the amount of bacon in the middle. All were the same genorous portions. All plates were clean on copletion. The coffee is good, and the lady of the party who partook of tea was equally pleased. I have recently visited for a takeaway at the Kitchen, attached, and found equally good food and drinks. Well Done.

Cafe and small motorcycle museum in one. A bit hidden away, but if you're a motorcycling buff, it's worth hunting it out. Admission free, it's part museum and part shop as it seems everything is for sale. The bikes are in concourse condition, thanks to the enthusiastic couple who now own the place. The cafe does an excellent breakfast, along with cakes and other edible treats. There is no car park and on street parking is limited, but the street wasn't busy the day we were there. I'd certainly revisit.

Had a really nice family meal last Saturday evening for my partners birthday. Shelagh and the team did us proud. Very helpful and accommodating in devising the menu and nothing too much trouble on the night itself. I have used for the cafe too and it’s equally good. Definitely would recommend.
