I popped in here for a coffee and a bagel before I did some food shopping, So glad I did, Vanilla latte was lovely. The service was amazing as I chose to have a cream cheese and ham bagel before I had looked at the full menu, the staff were willing to change it for me (but they had already started to prepare it so I didn’t want to waste it,) so glad I didn’t though as the bagel was delicious! Great service, I will definitely be back, Thank you 😊

One of my favourite cafes in the Forest Hill area - I love coming here for coffee and pancakes but their brunch options don't disappoint either. 🙂 You can also bring your laptop to do some work, which is always a plus!

The ladies were wonderful. We were with our granddaughters (5 and 3) after visiting the Horniman museum. The service was prompt and the food was great. There was a lovely selection of cakes which we didn’t sample so that will have to wait until next time. If you are in the area don’t miss the opportunity to pop in.

Lovely little cafe in Forest Hill, so nice to have this locally- I always take family and friends here when they come to visit. They have a great menu, fantastic for lunch or tea and cake. And it’s dog friendly! Will definitely be back soon ☕️ 🍰 🐕

Great jacket potato, excellent coffee. My son says: I had a milkshake and it was delicious the best I’ve ever tasted. I also had a Victoria sponge it was so creamy the jam was the sweetest and the sponge had so much flavour the meal was sensational.

Wonderful high Tea especially appreciated the gluten free sandwiches and cakes for the Coeliac of the group.

A lovely little place, cosy and friendly, serving impeccably poached eggs and a generous pot of loose-leaf tea. If you visit the Horniman Museum down the road, much better to come for refreshments to this place rather than the museum's own indifferent-looking café.

Perfect neighbourhood cafe, came across this as family just moved to the area, and rather jealous now, wish every parade of shops had somewhere like this. Wish I had this at the end of my road, would be there too often. Casual decor, welcoming without being scruffy, great selection of sandwiches, available toasted as well. Excellent coffee, reasonably priced. Cakes looked good, will need to go back.

I'm currently studying for masters disertation and came in here on a quiet Tuesday morning to have breakfast and work. I'd come here before a few weeks ago when the manager was in. He was lovely and let me stay for 4+ hours even though I only ordered a coffee and I'd been raving about how lovely this place was for the past few weeks. This morning I went and arrived at 11:30 and asked to sit in and was told that I could only sit on the bar I pointed to an empty table and the waiter grudgingly allowed me to sit. I was sitting next to two other people on their laptops neither of whom had ordered food. I ordered pancakes and a coffee (asked for no banana on my pancakes) and bottle water, the coffee never came and pancakes had banana on but I left it because the staff seemed stressed. After only an hour and half I was asked to aggressively leave because the cafe has a 2 hour limit. Despite the fact that the person next to me who hadn't ordered food was not moved a long and there was no queue of people waiting. Little did the know I was about to order lunch so they missed out on my service. If you're the lovely manger reading this then I would talk to your staff about the tone they are taking with customers. I understand a 2 hour laptop rule but I was only there for an hour and a half compared to people next to me and I felt like I was picked on. because I was a younger woman working in the cefe covered to the middle aged people sitting next to me.

Lovely, friendly cafe. Great food, great coffee and always so relaxed.

Came in for a quick breakfast, were seated by a lovely woman who took our order. Sat on a table of 4 as they had no table for two, they were taken up by people not eating or on laptops. Another couple came in and they asked to sit them with us, in front of them which made it very awkward. Coffee and food arrived cold, one sandwich was very dry didn’t have any butter or sauce after requesting it. When we asked for sauce it was a large task for the woman to assist us, she never spoke or made eye contact when she placed the sauce on the table. When my partner had finally started to eat, another server walked up with a family and asked us to move as she was eating. I agreed as again I felt awkward that they had brought people to the table as we were eating and the family began to sit down before my partner moved, we were rushed off the table instead of staff asking a man behind us sitting alone on a table of four to move. Disgusting behaviour At this point we decided to leave and while putting my coat on the ladies behind the till were watching and talking about us. We have been here a few times but treating paying customers like this isn’t right, the food had to go in the bin after we left. Ask people to wait and leave customers to eat in peace!

Friendly independent tea and coffee shop with a great selection of savoury and sweet items. We were there about Brunch time and it was fairly busy. Table service for eat in. We were not adventurous so breakfast oat smoothie, coffee eggs benedict and brie and bacon Focaccia. All was of a good standard. Handy for the walk from Forest Hill to Horniman Museum and Park and worth passing the other cafés for. Recommended

Went inside this lovely, cozy spot for coffee. The kind persons greeted us warmly and offered us a seat inside, which was tucked-away nicely. Those staff who served us was very courteous and kind, all the timings with menus, our coffees and the delightful vegan sandwich was timed to perfection. The atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon can be described as perfect! I would recommend this place for a coffee and/or brunch. Everything on the menu looked good. We shall return, thank you!

This is one of my favourite places in this neighbourhood and have visited multiple times. We have been at times when we are only doing a takeaway coffee or sandwich and have also sat down and done a full brunch. Every experience is amazing! The sandwiches are really really good. We have tried the fried chicken one, the prosciutto one and the veggie one and they are all really good and big portions. Coffee is amazing and strong. Olathe mocha is my favourite mocha anywhere. Went with my parents once also and they had the shakes which are to die for. And the prices are like a small village in UK. Must visit for sure

I would say for breakfast, this place is not the best. As a pancake lover, I am quite fussy but I think the pancakes here were really bad (see picture). However, for lunch, this place rocks. The sandwich menu is extensive and delicious. And drinks... I never usually struggle to pick a drink but their options of smoothies , milkshakes and yummy hot beverages has me stumped every time. It has a lovely atmosphere with comfy seating. Also would recommend one of their Italian treats by the till!

My kids loved this place especially as they were SO accommodating for us, bring books for the kids without any prompting, helping us set the kids up in their chairs, etc.

This was a nice cafe around the area! The waiting staff were amazing and so friendly and quick with their service! The food was great and I truly enjoyed the salad! A must visit if you are around the area!

My other half got 2 slices of vegan cake to go, but they were rock hard, either stale or very overbaked. It was a shame as the flavours were great, unfortunately just not edible.

This is a lovely little cafe with interesting decor that gives a warm inviting feeling. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and the seating was very cosy. The food looked delicious. I had a slice of Red Velvet cake which was fresh and tasty, and went down well with some Earl Grey tea. I would happily dine here again.

Best latte I’ve had in London. Their brunch is also really good and not over priced.

Just popped in on my way home excellent orange chocolate pastry with a normal temp white coffee great service plenty of space to sit for a group. 5 stars and gr8 selection too.

Very rude. I was chased down the road accused of not paying my bill. I’d paid at the till when I’d purchased my drink/food. When I followed the man back into the cafe showing him my evidence via my bank app £9.35 (for a coffee and sandwich) he almost grunted at me ‘well if you’ve paid that’s fine’… no apology for his mistake .. I was shocked. Won’t be returning.

This is the coffee shop in South London. Italian owned by charming people. Great coffee wonderful panine snacks with salad and mouthwatering Italian pastries. All the better because surrounded by awful chicken takeaways and situated in (shall we say) somewhat challenging Forest Hill. I'm fond of Forest Hill but Mayfair it ain't.
