Well what can I say…. Restaurant and spend £50 plus for good food OR Try these guys … real street food. Oh my goodness this place is amazing! Food was spectacular- we have visited before but some time ago and was so pleased it was thriving. The Mac n cheese was phenomenal, service great.

Fab location on Shambles market, menu was hard to choose from as looked so good, food was very tasty, portions massive particularly for price, finally staff were all really friendly. What more can you ask for? Try it if you’re after some quality, tasty street food. We will be back next time we are in York.

On a very freezing snowy day we came to TMK for Restaurant Week, not knowing it was outside! But we grabbed the pizza fries to share (HUGE portions) and it was worth sitting in the freezing cold for. They were so delicious! We asked them to be made vegetarian so no pepperoni but it didn't matter. The cheese and tomato sauce was so good, I miss it already.

Having read the reviews we just had to try this place. Opted for the Katsu curry loaded fries and weren't disappointed. This was Mrs Elstons first taste of Katsu and she loved it. Very generous portion and taste was superb. We shared a portion and it was plenty for both of us. Go and you won't be disappointed. The music wasn't too bad either! Enclosed picture doesn't do it justice.

Amazing, I got the dirty chilly fries. The chilly is made out of beef brisk it and is just spot on and the portion size is very generous. My partner got the cheesy buffalo chips. Buffalo sauce was amazing chicken was spectacular. I read the reviews and though well it's probably good. No it's not good it's just amazing. Best 'fast food' I've ever eaten. We're already planning our orders for tomorrow.

Visited here today. Food was really really good despite being very busy. My husband and I were so impressed with the thoughtfulness displayed by staff. Staff really went out of their way to make sure the food served was just right for our little grandson. I was told (without asking) what spices etc are normally used and asked if I wanted them omitted. He also served the dish a little cooler. Thank you for going above and beyond.

I found this place online before a trip to York with my daughter. We ordered small pizza fries and small katsu fries. They were both amazing BUT we didn't even manage 2 thirds of them and I felt so wasteful. I wish we had just got 1 portion but even choosing 2 from the selection was a difficult choice. I'll definitely go again but maybe with more people so I can taste everything. The service was also amazing, there was a 20 minute wait but they give you a pager so you can go and continue looking round the market until it is ready. It was such a busy day but all of the orders were coming out thick and fast and there were lots of happy diners.

We had this on our list to visit during our weekend in York and it didn't disappoint! We made the mistake of ordering a small mac and cheese and a large katsu fries to share between two of us... The chap in the van didn't look surprised when we asked for a take away bag when we were defeated 😂 Delicious food, HUGE portions, get there early 😊

The food is consistently fantastic, the portions are huge, value is amazing when you compare it to the high street chains and quality never disappoints. Christian and his amazing team work very hard to ensure every dish that goes out is tip top. When they are busy, you might have to wait 10 or 15 minutes but it’s worth it because you know you’re getting individually prepared dishes. Just remember… if you can’t finish your meal, take our home and have it later. 🥰

I've had a lot of street food from a lot of places around the country, but nothing prepared me for this! First off, the "small" portion was more than most places give you in their larges. Second, the flavours and quality of ingredients were off the charts for a food van. The guys running it were friendly, they have those electric buzzers to tell you when the food is ready so there is no queue and you can keep looking around the nearby market. All in all, I can't fault it on a single thing.

Popped by for a snack and left full!! Delicious loaded fries and nacho’s. We are very happy that we found this gem on our city break to York.

Had parmesan chips yesterday and they were delicious, my wife had a burger in a pink bun which she said was the best she had ever had.Was told about this place by our son & daughter in law who live near to York and they visit here quite often. Great quailty food at low cost and a comprehensive menu. We would highly recommend eating here. Will be eating from here again next time we are in York WARNING YOU GET VERY LARGE PORTIONS, WE HAD SMALL WHICH WOULD BE A LARGE ANYWHERE ELSE. TRULY BELLY BUSTING.

The food here has always been amazing! My wife and I regularly visit Taylor Made for lunch and are enjoying working our way through the menu (and the specials!)Everything we’ve ever had from here has been delicious, perfectly prepared and always served with a good sense of humour! The portion sizes are very generous and the prices are always so reasonable (especially for York!) It’s great to see an independent vendor providing authentic ‘food truck’ food that is always restaurant quality!
