Must visit if you are in this area. Perfect blend of cosy and stylish, romantic and family friendly. Warm fires, with lovely views, nestled right on the edge of this little bay. Could have stayed all day. Lovely landlords and their family are perfect hosts.

A lovely traditional style pub, in a prime position overlooking the bay. Welcome was good and it’s dog friendly. We sat in some very comfy chairs and just had drinks. My coffee was wonderful and I could have stayed for much longer, although I was so relaxed that I’d probably have nodded off! I noticed that there were a number of board games too, presumably for customers’ use. Couldn’t fault our visit.

I don’t really know where to start. I love Little Haven & have been visiting for over 30 years. When ever we’re in Little Haven we’ve always spent time at The Swan and it’s what made our holiday but sadly not anymore 😞. The place just has no soul, the windows are dirty and if you want food it’s a tin of sardines (still in the tin!) and a couple of slices of bread. This pub has definitely lost not only its soul but its way. Last night we popped in for the first time on this visit to be told at 9pm that the barman had already called last orders. Whilst he did serve us he proceeded to turn away several other customers- just madness. We’ll be frequenting The Castle & St Brides on this trip and hope that before we come back later in the year that the Landlord sees some sense!

Minimalist decor, but tasteful. Very few people in there, when many, many more in the other two pubs. Perhaps is the extortionate price of drinks? A friend on our campsite was told, "Everything in hers is expensive mate!?"

I visited this pub during a storm , it looks steeped in history and the building has many stories to tell !! I entered through the narrow double doors into a bar area with multiple lit fires and a welcoming environment. Families sheltering from the storm with drinks and playing games that are on hand . Great views of the harbour . Not the first time I have been in here , that was 40 years ago and no doubt was very different then . Recommend for a cosy pint , coffee or even a meal

It’s so hard these days to find a place for grown ups, tasteful organic decor, cool vibe, good wine list and artisan nibbles/ sharing boards. We sat in front of a log burner in comfy chairs , great cool play list low in the background , and ate, high quality charcuterie supported by attentive staff. Please keep doing what you are doing. There are enough places catering for the masses . This was a cold March evening so this fab experience is before we even mention it is right on the waters edge in a gorgeous hidden cove , a fisherman’s haven of years gone by. If this was in Cornwall the holiday brochures would be waxing lyrical, but the Welsh would rather keep such finds hidden.

Newly refurbished, this pub is beautiful! The decor is in keeping with its heritage, it's warm and inviting with log fireplaces - perfect for a pint in hand, sat in the window, watching the word go by and the tide come in and out of the cove. They don't serve hot food as such but the tapas style menu looked amazing when the tables next to us ordered - we wish we'd had some. Selection of ales were great, with local beers available on cask. A massive thank you to the owner, Paul too for his help when we broke down on the way. After many days of searching for someone to help, he called a friend who was happy to sort us out. Without him, we are likely to have still been stuck! Paul also had awesome local knowledge, especially of the heritage of the pub, so be sure to pick his brain! Would highly recommend visiting Paul and his family run pub, we will be sure to return soon!

The pub is just so welcoming, you see it and are drawn in by the soft tones of music or just the hub-bub of people chatting. The views from the windows over the sea (usually with somebody swimming or boarding) are superb. Whilst the pub does not do large meals, it does have a snack menu and a good selection of savouries. The ale sections are fantastic, with a mix of local and high quality international beers / wines and spirits. Its impossible not to relax once you are sat watching the world with a cold beer in your hand.

I recently visited The Swan Inn in Little Haven and initially we were made to feel very welcome. We sat downstairs and I ordered our drinks and paid directly at the bar for the drinks. As we were eating, we were seated upstairs and proceeded to order our food. As the pub was quite busy, we had to wait quite a long time but when the food came it was tasty and value for money. However, when we came to pay for the meal, the drinks I originally paid for downstairs had been added to the bill. When I questioned this, I was told to speak to a member of bar staff downstairs. I went back to the bar and explained that I had already paid for the drinks, and that if they looked back on the till, they would see the order and would then be able to see that the payment had been made. I was made to feel like a liar and questioned intensely about my drinks. The manager/supervisor would not check back on the till, instead he made me write my name and contact number down on the bill and doubted I was telling the truth - instead telling me that he was a multi millionaire and that £11 was nothing to him. I HAD PAID FOR THE DRINKS !!! This was a very sad end to a nice meal and I will not be visiting this pub again. Next time I order drinks in a pub, I will be asking for a receipt for evidence!

I called in on the afternoon and made a dinner reservation as we have 2 Golden Retrievers and I wanted to book a table in the bar area where they would not be in the way. On arrival, we were seated in the empty dining room as the bar was full, and the table we had reserved was taken. Initially, this was a disappointment as the dining room was empty and soulless, however, within 15 minutes, the dining room was also full, which created a warmer atmosphere and some good opportunities to converse with other diners. The menu was varied and included a 'special' which turned out to be Mackerel which I opted for. It was the freshest Mackerel I have ever eaten and made the evening for me. We were looking forward to lunch at the Swan because it is reportedly dog friendly and has an interesting menu. The Swan's Facebook page says it opens at 12:00. We arrived at 11:57, the door was open, so started to walk in. "We're not open yet!" said the man behind the bar, abruptly. My wife said, "Oh, the door was open ...". "Well we're not!" was his reply. "Do you open at 12?" asked my wife. He did not reply to that. We went out. We waited outside until 12:03. Down the hill, we could see that the Castle Inn was open and people were sitting outside with menus, so we walked down there, to a friendly welcome and a very pleasant lunch. This is the very first negative review we've ever posted: we prefer to take up any issues with the management but on this occasion the issue was the management. There is an old saying, "you only get one chance to make a first impression," and it's true. Life is too short to put up with this sort of thing, we won't be back to the Swan.

Decided to treat ourselves on the last evening of our holiday and booked into The Swan Inn Little Haven and we weren't disappointed. Very good menu making it difficult to choose, we had crispy cockles to start, then I had I fish chowder and my OH had dressed crab. Such generous portions, I couldnt eat all mine and OH struggled but managed it, along with a pudding might I add!! I can fully recommend this establishment whole heartedly. I would have scored the full marks but for the fact that although the waiting staff were very good, friendly and helpful, their uniforms were rather dirty! One waitress looked like she had a snail trail on her skirt and the other young lady had dirty marks on the back and a tear under her arm and I must say the waiters outfit looked like it needed a good wash. However, don't let this put you off, the inn itself is spotless the food fabulous and we will definitely go back again. Make sure you book as they get very busy. They are dog friendly and have a room set aside just for guests with pooches which is much nicer than being confinded to the bar, we all had out own little restaurant, it was lovely.

Nice and popular place with good service and cosy atmosphere. We had the fresh caught, smoked mackerel, but actually we had expected more from it... Taste was ok, but nothing special, and the vegetables were tiny and maybe too much roasted.

Tiltle is a Dutch expression translated. I promised the very responsive Swann Inn to gave dinner but forget to write when. I meant after 2 days. Anyway, arrived during lunch and had good soup and a pint of shrimps. For di net I ate again at the Swann. Excellent. Three courses. The hostess is great and very welcoming. The athmosphere too. Location; couldn't be better. Recommended!

The Swan at Little Haven - has friendly staff and does amazing meals. If you have an anniversary or birthday they will find you a window seat to admire the view.

Food was decent. Seafood linguini was a bit bland, had to ask for it to be changed... came back, still bland. Didn’t get it knocked off the bill either (even though we didn’t eat it). Decent service though the owner is very friendly!

I came here with family on a Saturday evening. We’d arrived a little early so ordered drinks and then were told the chef would be happy for us to sit early. The lady that sat us was an absolute delight and I didn’t manage to catch her name, blonde hair blue dress. We soon ordered and unfortunately that’s where it did go downhill.

Fantastic Sunday lunch - cooked to perfection. I had lamb shoulder - it melted and was so tasty. Partner had rib of beef and that was gorgeous too.

Nice ambiance in this pub, log burners on overtime! Great location overlooking the beach. We enjoyed a really nice lunch here, there may be a short wait for your food, but who cares when it’s all freshly prepared?

As far as I can see from previous reviews, it's all been said before. I don't need a reply as to why I'm surely mistaken.

The first full day of a week holiday in Pembrokeshire and with Storm Hannah blowing through overnight we headed to the coast to see the rough seas crashing against the cliffs. Little Haven was the first place visited and we headed for The Swann Inn, as it was one of those recommended by the owners of the place we were staying. We got to the pub (2 adults & dog) just before the hordes of lycra-clad marathon runners arrived and so were lucky enough to have a table. The publican and staff were very welcoming and food was served up hot and fairly quickly - despite the pub being very busy. A gem of a pub in a stunning location

Love this pub. Not far from us as we’re Pembrokeshire residents but took friends from the midlands there for lunch at the weekend. They loved it too. Sat in the sunshine on the terrace taking in the views whilst enjoying our tasty food and a nice beer.

A group of 6 (4 adults, 2 babies) came for lunch and had a great meal. The roast lamb was absolutely amazing, melt in the mouth. Service was good, prices reasonable. Would happily eat there again.

Trying to be an up-market gastropub. The food was OK but not worth the top end prices they are charging. The service was a bit erratic and the welcome somehow felt rather cool. The location makes it a good place to go for a drink on a nice evening but for food I'd go for the other two pubs in the village.

A good menu and great food. Pleasant service. We were lucky to have a table in the window upstairs with view out over the bay.

I really cannot fault this place, everything is just right and done with care. The Vegan (I am not a vegan) cheesecake is the best pudding I have had in years - not kidding! Go and have a lovely time - but please book for food reservations as it can get busy.

Tried to visit once out of season and once early season but it was closed but that’s what non chain pubs do to be great. Third time lucky but it was worth the wait. The venue is one of three pubs in Little Haven. and for us the very reason we wanted To fe here. The Swan has a great atmosphere even when there’s few customers due to the lovely environment and decor being interesting so relaxing and comforting. It’s dog friendly and great to only well behaved children! The food is definitely professionally home cooked and for non food appreciators they would say too pricey, but to those who know quality cooked food,it is worth every penny. We had the best seats by the fire looking out toward little haven bay and the tide slowly going out and splashing on the rocks. The restrictions upstairs was also atmospheric and classy with amazing sea views. As darkness fell and the temperature dropped Sam lit the candles and stoked the fire. Thank you Amira (chef), Sam(waitress) Matt and Helen (owners)

We booked in for a small family birthday and enjoyed the professional manner of both Matt and Helen . The wine list was very good value and combined with the excellent food added up to a good experience . Matt made it clear that the meals are all freshly produced , so in essence if you are looking for a quick wholesaler inspired pub meal with low prices and poor quality go elsewhere , but if you enjoy individual effort from the kitchen and the owners then this is a must , greta quality from WEST WALES ...cheers to you both

Having failed to find a place for lunch in Haverfordwest we decided to try a seaside town. We didn’t know this pub was here. Looked at the menu and decided we like the look of it. They seated us in a bay window on a warm October day we we had a nice view. I ordered the giant fish finger sandwich. My friend wanted the crab sandwich but they didn’t have any. In fairness it does state ‘when available’. They had the fish finger sandwich too. We also split the calamari. Service and food was quick but not rushed and delicious. Enjoyed my pint of Aspals in the sun too. A really nice place to escape the rush of a big town.
