Really friendly bar staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Good old fashioned proper English pub.

We didn’t eat here but plan to in the near future. Lovely owners and staff and a great atmosphere

The Swan gave us just what we hoped for - delicious food, generous portions and above all a great service from the very empathetic and engaging staff with a lovely smiley sense of humour! Thanks, and we will definitely be back!

Have been twice for a pint with the lads after work and will continue when in the area. Great service. Very limited parking, though. Get there early enough and you should find a space.

My husband and I popped in to the Swan around 2.15. We were out walking, spur of the moment. Hadn’t been in for about 2 years. Table by the window. We had such a nice warm welcome from the bar staff. Good choice of beers, jacket potato great. So warm and friendly will definitely visit again.

Tatty pub, very slow service taking over an hour for pizza to arrive. Dirty toilets. Would not recommend.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here. Lucky for me they had some turkey. It was so nice, like Xmas all over again.

Fairly limited menu but includes great pizzas and burgers. Good real ale and drinks selection. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. There is also a cash prize quiz at least once per fortnight. Fairly large car park at rear. Well worth a visit!

Decent Pub with reasonably priced food menu. We had the Sunday roast and what a great idea to offer a selection of different gravies including vegetarian. Service was good but book a table at peak periods as it gets very busy. Decent selection of beers as well and friendly staff. Big car park and a nice old world charm inside.

Friendly local pub good food and dog friendly

Beautifully situated in the village with a loyal following but sadly I feel this has resulted in a certain laziness amongst the staff Two of our party ordered the Brie bacon and cranberry baguettes. The baguettes are like the part baked ones from a supermarket. Certainly not top quality. Sadly our baguettes were completely missing the cranberry sauce. No explanation that they had run out so I assume it was forgotten. The other member of our party ordered a white baguette and was given brown. It was not a complicated order so no real excuse. We then ordered coffee. I requested decaf with hot milk. The other two were served filter coffee and I was just served a cup of coffee with a dubious flavour. My hot milk arrived but no cold milk for the other two. There seemed to be a complete lack of co ordination. One person would take the order and a different one would deliver so they had no idea if it was correct. We had to get our own menus as no one came near our table. No one came to see if the food was ok and we were happy and we had to endeavour to make eye contact to get the bill. Sadly sloppy service. We didn’t complain as I feel it would have fallen on deaf ears.

A lovely classic British pub, with friendly staff. They have a traditional menu with great food. Worth a stop and drink, if you are in the area.

Delightful and very friendly little pub. We had an impromptu visit here for dinner for five people, including a wheelchair user, and it was absolutely lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food and drink were very reasonably priced, and everything we ate was delicious. Great atmosphere and very welcoming. Will definitely be coming back. Went with my sister and two kids. We all ordered the pizzas. They’re gorgeous, they weren’t skimpy with the cheese which I liked, and the tomato sauce was perfect, not too plain and not too sharp, it was just right. Service was great, will be visiting again

Nice traditional pub, serving a good selection of Ales. Home made food and daily specials are also available. Very good on Covid procedure, one way systems in place, sanitizer available and table service strictly adhered to. Overall, nice, clean, friendly pub

When I booked by phone the owner was delightful. We were greeted warmly, Covid security was obvious but not obtrusive and staff friendly. We ordered pizzas - a speciality. Unfortunately they were utterly laden with mozzarella; next time I will ask for less cheese as after a while it became quite unpleasant. Pity as otherwise they were good. We decided to follow them with ice cream but when I asked whether it was good quality and told it was soft scoop we changed our mind. If you serve fresh pizza please have decent Italian ice cream to follow! So The Swan is a bit of a mixed bag. Might try it again if I fancy some standard pub grub though will request less cheese on the pizza!

Very well kept beer. Barmaid is very attentive and anticipates your every need. Black Sheep Bitter was excellent.

Best pub in the village, we've just had an amazing takeaway stonebaked pizza from here that was genuinely one of the best takeaway pizzas we have had. The staff are lovely, Can't wait to visit again after lockdown.

This is a friendly and welcoming pub with a good range of beer. Sally and Glenn go out of their way to make people feel at home - and you can bring your dogs to meet Milly.

Nice old interior, ale and food in addition to the usual pub fare. Plus a decent sized car park. And quiet as it's slightly off the beaten track.

Went there for a pin but not there anymore

My friend & I had a delicious roast dinner at The Swan last Sunday. The food came out piping hot, looking great & tasted superb. The deserts are great too. So lucky to have this great pub in our village!

This is a very good pub, with well kept beers and several choices, plenty of space inside, good parking facilities, games are available in the bar (chess, draughts etc.), and the friendly owners ensure a good atmosphere.

Atmospheric and centrally placed in the village a really nice pub/restaurant. This pub is very close to the church and a short walk to the River Lee.

Had lunch yesterday at this lovely old pub. Food was excellent. Staff really friendly and helpful. Nice menu and some daily specials on board. Prices very reasonable for good size meals. Our orders were taken at our table. Staff popping back now and again to ask if we needed anything else. There was no rush though. Free parking at back. We will definitely be going back.

We had a lovely lunch in The Swan today. The food was very tasty and plentiful. I recommend the scampi. The service was good and friendly too. We all treated ourselves to a scrumptious Knickerbocker Glory a little while after our lunch went down! Will be back! Thank you.
