The Swan in South Bucks

We loved the food and the staff were so friendly. The only thing that lets the place down is the menus are a bit tatty - they could do with some nice menu folders so they stay looking nice.

Our first experience and won't be the last. Excellent service very friendly staff good food all round very happy 😊 😃

Super friendly staff, a free carpark, good prices AND nice and clean! I highly recommend visiting as they treat everybody like a regular and have a good selection of drinks. I haven't been there when they served food but I've been told it's pukka and the menu looks really good! Thanks to the staff for making the best white russian too

Great service, wonderful good value food and drink, everything was super tasty! Ed was AMAZING and an absolute gem to this business....make sure you keep him. We will definitely be returning. The only recommendation I have is to get laminated menus or menu holders, as the paper ones are grubby and not inviting sadly.

Popped in to The Swan for the first time and wow was not disappointed, food, service and atmosphere were all just perfect. We waiting only 25 mins for the most amazing Sunday roast to appear. The waitress was cheerful and attentive with everything being priced very competitively. If your looking for a great Sunday lunch within 15 of central Uxbridge try the Swan you won’t be disappointed.

Shared a fish and chip supper with an pjs friend last night . Compliments to the chef best fish and chips I have had for a long time . Took me back to the seaside. Wonderful attention from from staff . Super atmosphere .

Stopped here briefly whilst waiting for children to complete their drama class. It was nice no negatives and I'd recommend it. I didn't try the food but had some yummy posh crisps with a glass of white wine. Lady who served me was pleasant and friendly. She clearly had a good rapport with the regular local customers which was positive to see. Historic casual pub not a modern snazzy establishment.

Over the years of visiting The Swan, I've never been let down . Everyone friendly and the back garden on those hood days is a game changer . Can't wait for another group meet up and for sure it will be back there

The food was great. I'd recommend the Sunday roast. We have had to ask to turn the music down but that was done promptly. The staff were helpful and courteous. The pub was busy and lively but it was over all very enjoyable.

Had a lovely meal here today, sat in the neat little garden as the weather was good, I had the ham, eggs and chips, lovely home cooked ham and crispy chips, my husband had the meat calzone and a side of halloumi fries, which was massive, he only managed to eat half, took the rest home. There is a big car park at the rear, free to use, you just need to enter your registration on entering the pub. Very pleasant helpful staff, had a nice chat with a fellow customer in the garden.

The place was disappointing as the pub was loud and lary. No cosy corners to sit down and cuddle up with your partner, not a pub for courting couples. More of a family pub. Also was disappointed with the Sunday roast, the meat was chewy and not cooked properly, I could still see red in my lamb. I won't be visiting this bub again. Disappointing for a was was meant to be a quite country pub.

As an ex-resident of Iver I’ve always enjoyed going to The Swan but returning after an absence of three years I was bitterly disappointed. We sat in the garden and the three tables around us were occupied by people spouting constant foul language. They were not all together, it just seemed that the pub now attracts a loud, swearing clientele. Not the sort of place you’d go for a quiet meal with your partner. Such a shame; it used to be my favourite pub. We didn’t wait around to order food and drink.

The service was excellent and to make us feel safe in their environment, our temperature was tested upon entry as well as hand sanitisers at the ready. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit in every way and will definitely be coming back soon.

Waited 90 minutes for food when it came out it was terrible chips were not cooked properly fish was awful my wife’s steak was as cheap as you could buy from supplier and it cost a fortune. I would never go back and the lady behind the bar was very rude as well. Complete rip off Rude staff

Lovely food, good selection of drinks, was a bit crowded while I was there. But that probably just shows how popular it is. Outside area is large enough for children to run around in and play. Had a lovely time.

Wanted a family get together - hadn't been to the swan for a couple of years - decided to try it- I must say the food was amazing, the staff were friendly but lacked finesse. We were not asked if we wanted drinks at the table, and with football fans crowding the bar was awkward to get to the bar to get more drinks. But, as I mention the roast dinner was amazing, clean plates all around - shame it lacks finesse.

Normally frequent many pubs. Was passing by iver and noticed the swan. Best decision I have made popping in. Staff are amazing, drink and food selection are amazing. Number one on my list now for a drink or even a event. Pub and restaurant have ample space or many events.

Just had dinner in the restaurant. We chose Fish pie and Lamb chops and had Tomato Bruchetta to start. I think, despite my extensive international travel, that was the best tomato bruchetta I've ever tasted. It was incredible. The fish pie flavours were superb, the potion just right and the lamb chops, bubble & squeak and spinach also wonderful. The Purbeck ice cream was the perfect ending ... clotted cream ice cream to die for and raspberry ripple a super compliment. Highly recommended.
