Genuinely outstanding pub food. The Lamb with celeriac mash was out of this world.

It's a pub. It's pleasant enough. The service is fine. £27.50 for chicken, a few potatoes and beans is ridiculously expensive. It's over-priced. To justify the prices the food should be better. Failing that, it should be cheaper.

It is always a pleasure to come to this pub and a guarantee of excellence.

Another fine Sunday roast (beef) - absolutely delicious!

Roast was small and not great quality, no crackling on pork belly and meat tough, 1 potato (quartered) 1 carrot and some kale. Starter was nice, heads on the pints too big, wasn’t charged for 1 main (pretty inedible) and at £24 for a roast would expect much better. Service was ok, though service charge wasn’t waived…. Much better places to eat in Chiswick.

Very good Sunday lunch. The roast beef was excellent, tender and flavoursome. It took a little time to get going. When I arrive I like to get a beer immediately but it was slow to order and slow to come. After that it was all very good. The food came fairly quickly and was delicious. I have been here a number of times over the years and it is well run with good food and decent beer.

Initially stated by the door which was a little cold. Thankfully got moved to a lovely table by the window. Always a favourite for Sunday lunch - roast potatoes tasted reheated. My partner had sea bream which looked really good. Kids have mussels and pasta which they enjoyed. Puddings are great! Overall happy and will return.

Another excellent roast (beef) - seems to get better every time. Our large party ordered different main courses and everyone was perfect.

The Swan has been a firm favourite of ours for years. Even on a busy Saturday night, you feel welcome, service is on point and the pub retains it's warm and cosy atmosphere. The food is out of this world, so much more than your average pub food - amazing flavours. I'm so sad to be moving away from the area soon, as I will miss eating here.

Excellent fresh Italian homemade food. This chef knows how to cook (thank god not a pizza in sight). Wonderful borlotti bean and caramelised onion soup, slow cooked tender lamb, baked fish wrapped in pancetta, mains come with veg and portions are generous. The 3 scoops of Ginger, Honeycomb and Pistachio ice cream were fantastic. Very surprised to find such wonderful and genuine Italian cooking.

Nice warm cosy pub with upmarket vibe. Food was outstanding, and service was excellent. Definitely coming again.

Great food, great service, nice place to meet and talk with friends

Usually we love The Swan, but 9 of us had Sunday lunch here this past weekend and everyones food was truly AWFUL. The beef was overcooked with measly portions, hands down the worst roast potatoes of all time (they must have been many days old!) ghastly doughy Yorkshire puddings which were left untouched, all sitting in an incredibly salty gravy (my kids were guzzling water all night). It's not difficult to do a roast and this wasn't even passable. Such a shame as this is a great pub in general. The service was great though - we had a lovely waitress and the general atmosphere was as good as ever.

The Swan is such a lovely local pub, we always enjoy it and have the best time. Very friendly staff, good selection and delicious pasta! Will be back!

I think the best roast I’ve had. Everything was divine and the people working there were very friendly.

I brought some guests from Liverpool to the Swan and we had a really lovely evening. All the food was exceptionally good and the service was excellent.

Im not sure if this is the right place but when my wife and I visited the United Kingdom in 2017 we had a very nice meal at a restaurant called “The Swan”. We were in southern United Kingdom maybe this is the bar. It was very nice. Good salads

Great night at The Swan. We were lucky enough to be given the table in the snug, which was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The staff were really friendly and attentive and we all enjoyed our food. It is a great local pub with a very friendly vibe.

Excellent local pub within walking distance. Staff were friendly, helpful and answered any concerns. The pub was busy but not over noisy. Always enjoy going there in winter and summer months Lucky to have such a good place nearby.

Food was well cooked. Service efficient and friendly. Table was a bit small!

Meal had to be sent back as inedible . My guest not served the sauces advertised on menu . Manager rude on entry and even ruder after I complained about the Meal . Beer poorly kept and short measure . Noise level too loud . This is a pleasant environment spoiled by poor cooking and service though the waitresses were perfectly pleasant .

The Swan was very busy. Our table was in the snug which was a table for six adults in a REALLY tight space hidden away from the atmosphere of the venue. The young lady who served us was very friendly. The food was disappointing- A roast dinner at 6pm probably wasn’t the best choice by us. The food was warm not hot and when we asked for some hot gravy it came out warm!!! Table was tight on space with glasses not being cleared away when reordering more drinks. All very disappointing for the money we spent.

The Swan is the best gastro pub/restaurant in the area by far - always great.

We had Italian Sausages, corned chicken and risotto; everything excellently prepared and delivered with outstanding friendly service. The cheese platter we shared after dinner was also great. All in all an excellent experience!

Fantastic food and atmosphere. One small thing - our table was situated beside a hot radiator which after a short period of time, was overbearing however we still really enjoyed our meal.

We were 6 people having supper on a Sunday evening. The service was quick and friendly. The food was ok but nothing special. Unfortunately by the evening they had run out of the dishes that we had hoped to have so we had pasta and a roast.. The sausage pasta £17 (large portion) was too rich and was mainly sausage with pasta not much tomato. The beef roast at £25 was ok but there was not much gravy and the Yorkshire and roast potatoes were a bit dry. I guess we don’t go out much for supper and just expected the food based on the reviews on Open table to be better. That said I am unable to think of a good pub dinning experience. Don’t think I will be returning. Sorry did not want to be negative.

Another fantastic experience when bringing family over! The food was better than ever. So delicious! The service was on point and Isaac was really friendly and provided a nice atmosphere.

Food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is great - it’s a lovely cosy, traditional pub with a roaring fire, lively but not too noisy. Staff are pleasant and professional. The only (minor) issue was delays serving drinks and main courses arriving at different times, but staff did apologise for this. It is expensive for a pub meal but the quality of the food, friendly service and ambience makes it worth it.

Like the Parson's egg, good in parts. Waitress not the happiest in the world.

Lovely, quaint, British pub. I wouldn't rate this place for food but nice for a cosy drink as they had a gorgeous open fire going. The extensive menu on first perusal filled with confidence, however, the quality of ingredients and cooking didn't quite match up. Service was slow - I had a steak and chips and chips were burnt and tough to eat. No condiments were offered at the table. The calamari was also quite tough and greasy. My colleague had risotto and it was a huge portion but was not very aesthetically pleasing and had some very overcooked and sad mushrooms positioned sadly on top! Shame about the food. Friendly staff.

We have been to the Swan for dinner several times over the last few years and never disappoints!

Lovely food as always! All well and good to see a dog friendly pub, but maybe not have dogs in that keep barking and giving people a headache!

Great food and service as always. I know The Swan welcomes dogs, but we had a family sat behind us with a dog that kept barking continuously throughout the meal and was obviously disturbing the staff and other diners. The family didn’t bat an eyelid! Maybe ask these type of customers to take their dog away. I myself have taken my dog home when he started misbehaving in the pub garden. Not fair on other paying customers!!!

Cannot rate this beautiful pub enough. I almost do t want to review it and let other’s into the best kept little secret, but the food, staff and general attention to detail is always on point and the Sunday roast was truly exceptional.

Our favourite venue for a delicious (late) Sunday lunch & although all 4 of us really enjoyed ourselves I found the lamb not up to usual standards, and served luke warm. We also had a mix up with our second bottle of red wine although our waiter was very apologetic. However, we will back back very soon.

Cozy and great friendly service, I had the roast beef which was cooked perfectly but the slices were a bit thick for my liking. Very tasty and good selection

Bit more expensive than your run of the mill roast but well worth it. A veggie option for the roast for my veggie friend would have been the cherry on top but the gnocchi was also very good.

Lovely pub but food a long way off it’s sister pub the Anglesey despite having similar menu choices.

Outstanding Sunday lunch. Best I've had out in a long time. Great serving staff. So patient wrangling a group of 7 + 2 dogs. It's my local and will definitely be going back more often.

I’ve been a regular customer for over 20 years, and in that time The Swan has not disappointed. I had yet to have a poor meal, until last evening. My vegetarian friend enjoyed the gnocchi, but it was the only vegetable option on offer. A friend and I both had the duck. The plates were cold, which is rarely a good thing for a hot dish. But so was everything on the plate. For the first time at The Swan, I complained. The dishes were removed, and returned, but the plates were still not hot and neither was the duck, mousse line or the chard. What got lost in translation? The sound level at our table was unbearable so we moved. I will have to reconsider The Swan as my local eatery of choice. And I will qualify recommendations that food can be variable.

First visit for a while but still retains the high standard of food - delicious roast beef!
