Welcoming and attentive staff, great food and good value!

I'm a regular in this place and never ceases to amaze me, the drinks are creative and complex, the food is always lovely, whatever you order is going to look amazing and taste just as good. Totally recommended!

Took over half hour to get my food, wasn't busy. Mushrooms and egg were strange so I left them. Then spent the rest of the afternoon on the toilet... Nice. Will not be returning would recommend you avoid.

30 minutes walk here. Going Scotish on waffles. Is that such a thing. Here from the Midlands and this is my first breakfast.

We had a fantastic breakfast here recently. The staff were wonderfully cheerful and friendly. The breakfast itself was probably the best we’ve had! Everything tasted amazing, even the mushrooms 😋 I’m a fussy breakfast eater as I don’t like eggs or baked beans so it was perfect to find a “build your own” option. I can highly recommend the fried halloumi! We even treated ourselves to a couple of cakes for tea and they were superb too. Good prices too - definitely worth visiting.

I love street cafe always 10/10 all round. But please guys. Don’t serve rock hard butter with soft bread. It’s a cardinal sin. My bread was massacred by the time me and the butter were finished with it. It’s a tiny detail. But it goes a long way

The establishment, an oasis of victual delights, catered to my discerning palate with an array of delectable comestibles. In succinct summation, a superlative emporium for the epicurean connoisseur. The staff were also friendly and we got sweets and biscuits with our receipt

Great cafe, lovely friendly staff, a good location, and nice atmosphere. A little slip up with the order, but staff were very apologetic and adjusted the bill, no questions. Food very super, maybe just a tad on the expensive side, but totally reasonable considering the quality. Would 100% go again. 👍

What an absolutely fabulous place. The breakfast was cooked to perfection, the service outstanding, the premises super clean and even the toilets pristine. Recommended to me by my eldest two boys who eat there regularly - we will definitely be back. Thank you so much 😊

Absolutely top breakfast made from quality components and prepared beautifully , washed down with a big mug of tea. There was at least three staff who were working their socks off in this busy restaurant but still managed to engage with you and serve with a smile. An absolutely 10/10 experience

Very welcoming staff, we were seated quickly. The coffee was lush, and the food was amazing, I had the smaller breakfast, and my boyfriend had the larger one. Amazing food and really tasty. I will be back.

What a lovely cafe in Magdalen Street. We cannot wait to return. We were greeted with such a warm welcome. The staff were absolutely fantastic, they were very polite, bubbly and friendly. The service was first class. The food was top quality and lots of it, worth every penny. I would give it 50 stars if I could. Keep up the great work, you have a lovely business and staff. Hands-on best iced teas we’ve ever had. Tried the raspberry-mango & strawberry-cucumber one & they were just great! Had the vegetarian & vegan breakfast which were awesome as well. Lovely interior, having a really cosy vibe to it. Super friendly staff, overall a great experience & defo a hidden gem in Norwich, 100% worth to go! :)

This is a great cafe, considering its in in such an awful part of Norwich. My food has always been tasty, and the staff are always friendly. They do a great breakfast and I love their fried egg baps. On my most recent visit I just wanted a milkshake and some chips and the chips were the best I have tasted in a long time, they were homemade and tasted amazing.

If you are looking for a classy spoon cafe in Norwich, then this is it! I had a bumper fry up and it certainly was! Piping hot mushrooms, really nice sausages, tomato, fried bread, fried eggs... everything really 🤤 Decor was very nice and bright, service was impeccable. The serving sizes are great, the small vegetarian with fried halloumi my wife couldn't finish. The only issue was *our own* fault as we had to rush to get to the car 🙄, I would have loved to savour it a bit longer.

Really good breakfast here and the staff are very polite and friendly. It's a really child friendly cafe too, with a kids menu, booster seats if needed, offer colouring pencils to keep the little one entertained and even have childrens cutlery. It's our go to cafe for breakfast, 100% recommend.

Notified of a 40 min wait on food not in a hurry so proceeded. Waited 15 mins for a waitress to take drink order at which point no service a couple came in after us their order was taken. Another ten mins their drink arrived still we are waiting. We left so the 40 min was just us

An excellent breakfast, nice place and friendly staff. My partner loved her full English. I enjoyed most of my old English breakfast, but regret my choice as it needed something wet, likes beans or tomatoes on it. My fault, I'll give one of the others a go next time!

One of the best Cafe's in Norwich- if you visit Anglia Square make for this place. Absolutely delicious and huge breakfast and refillable tea! You can even play Connect 4 whilst you eat!!

I just wasn't that impressed with the place. Good points: The freakshakes are great The portion size was great The eggs were definitely fresh The bread was lovely and fresh Not So Good Points: The sausages seem to be lacklustre The bacon was rather salty The "griddled bread" was sort of chewy and unpleasant. All in All, I wouldn't rush to go back as there are better breakfasts available around Norwich but I wouldn't go out of my way to avoid it if I'm passing and hungry.

The biggest, best full English breakfast in Norwich. The Freakshakes are amazing too!

The food was nothing special and pretty pricey for what I would normally pay for a cooked breakfast. The 'Traditional Breakfast' didn't come with a few bits I would expect such as a hash brown and it only came with one slice of toast. The bill for two meals, a tea and a coffee were over £30.... wouldn't recommend value for money. The wait time for food was fifty minutes and the staff who serving looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but there. No apologies for the 50-minute wait on food or really any manor of common courtesy you expect from a waiter/waitress. Most disturbing was the uncared-for fish tank that I had to stare at for 50 mins while we waited for our food. The tank looks unhygienic, uncared for and the very few fish that inhabit it looked halfway between life and death. Hygiene concerns aside, it was sad to see the fish looking half dead and unloved in a tank covered in algae and off putting when it came to eating a very mediocre breakfast.

This is easily the best place to go for breakfast in Norwich! The staff are always very welcoming and friendly, and accommodating of dietary preferences etc. The food is amazing and portion sizes are very generous. It doesn’t break the bank to visit here either!

stumbled upon this tidy little cafe whilst in norwich recently read some good reviews on this place off a few places and the place is very clean and tidy and a lovely breakfast was had the waitresss was friendly lovely and clean highly recommended if your around norwich and you wanna enjoy a nice breakfast.

Worthy of 5 stars. This was the first time I've visited. I can't quite believe it's taken me so long to do so. On entry you have to wait to be seated. But, we were warmly greeted by a member of staff. Who showed us to our table and mentioned that there would be a 40 minute wait for food. Not to worry, it was a quick pit stop for a coffee and scone. Which wasn't a problem for the staff. t was very busy at the time of visiting. That didn't seem to bother the staff who were dashing around with all of the orders. After around 10 mins our scones arrived and they were perfect. My wife went for a cheese scone which came with cream cheese and an onion chutney. I plumed for the fruit scone which came with clotted cream and jam. Both scones were £3.80 each. Well worth the money as they were delicious. Along with the latte and cappuccino it came to £13.20. There was a really good vibe about the place and you could see why it was so popular. We will definitely be heading back for a breakfast as they looked delicious too.

Great food, great staff - the best cafe in Norwich.

Quite possibly one of the best English Cooked Breakfasts I've had in a Cafe... I went for "The 1996!" breakfast which was quite expensive at £13.45 but the quality, quantity and presentation was well worth it. Served by staff with a smile in pleasant surroundings with great decor. The customer toilets were very clean.

Quite simply an awesome cooked breakfast... At £13.50 not the cheapest around but it was worth every penny, top quality, perfectly cooked, and delicious. Coffee was good too as was the service with a smile in nice surroundings.

Nice and fresh environment, friendly staff but the traditional breakfast was underwhelming. No poached egg option and the field mushroom was drenched in oil.

Cheep ingredients with some vine tomatoes on top. Margarine on baps instead of butter. Dirty dusty place, either needs to become a proper greasy spoon or get quality ingredients and clean.
