We stayed for a week and didn’t want super store produce. We came across this independent deli and absolutely loved the food. The eggs were perfectly fresh and free range; the frozen meals were excellent, no additives and you could buy the frozen veg to compliment the meals; curries excellent; lasagne amazing with peas and leeks and butter. You can order sourdough… perfect. Wine selection excellent and the owners / staff fantastic.

Stopped for refreshments whilst walking the SW Coastal Path. Such a beautiful town and this place compliments that so well. The girl behind the counter was really friendly and offered great service. The store had a range of different ingredients to buy and take home for cooking, as well as pasties, pastries, coffee, cake and more. Dairy free and vegan products were on offer. Everything we ordered was delicious. I'll be returning first chance I get.

After a long walk with the dog we were ready for lunch and discovered 'The Stores'. The super-friendly welcome from the staff encouraged me to order what turned out to be the best sausage roll I have had in years (it's 'man-size' if we are still allowed to say that), a cup of tea without milk but with the welcome option of the addition of some cold water, and two babka that are waiting for me even as I write. Places like this deserve to do well. I'll be back and hope to meet you there! There are some little benches outside the shop but the smarter choice is to sit overlooking Cawsand Bay and Plymouth Sound underneath the clocktower.

The Stores may be tiny, but they manage to pack the place to the brim with loads of the best food and drink, and gifts if you find yourself in need. During our stay, we popped in frequently for coffees and inevitably couldn't resist the fresh bread and pastries. We tried local cheeses, cured meats, and dips. All wonderful! But it is the people who work here who truly make this place special. They greeted us every day with a warm smile and conversation. They love what they do, and it shows. The Stores is located right in the centre of Cawsand/Kingsand, so a great stop if you are hiking or cycling through. The car park is even across the road from them, so easy enough to pop in even if you are driving. Grab a coffee then have a wander around the village.

I went to Cafe Q with my family for my sisters birthday lunch and the experience was a all round 5 star. I had a cabatta roll with sausage and hallumi and It was absolutely delicious! They accommodated for my brother who is gluten free and vegan and made him a special vegan and gluten free BLT (which he said was the best one he's ever had). I also had a banana and mango smoothie and it was soo fresh and tasty, I drank it so quickly! The ladies in the cafe were so welcoming and I felt so relaxed and looked after, with a lovely atmosphere it was just like being at home with family. I would highly recommend the Cafe Q to anybody young, old, families etc, I can guarantee you will love every bite of what you order and will feel well catered to. Make sure you try one of their fresh smoothies too! Thank you again lovely ladies! We will definitely be back soon x

Had the most amazing trip for my 70th birthday. A real treat from my children. We had afternoon tea which was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the girls. Even the weather was on our side. Would have no hesitation in recommending this boat to everyone.

Visited during our visit to Newquay after seeing such brilliant reviews and would definitely recommend. Food was delicious, filling and unique. Service was excellent and it was great to hear about the courses direct from the chef. Couldn't fault it. Would go back again in a heartbeat.
