Great pub. Love the decor. My favourite in St Leonard’s.

Great atmosphere at the fortnightly quiz.

Went there for last orders on a Saturday night. Nice buzzy grown up vibe and friendly crowd. I was surprised and grateful to get a seat.

Cracking quiz night, good beer selection and pizzas from Pizza Pizzarelli just round the corner. Great spot for a fun noisy night out.

Chris & Phil run such a lovely local. A warm atmosphere, amazing selection of drinks, cosy setting and always a smile to greet you at the bar!

Had a drink one evening. Very friendly people and some great beers!

Great little pub, good beers, friendly comfortable atmosphere

The beer which was always ok has improved (in its keeping) under the management of the worker behind the bar. So, I tip my hat to him and hope he keeps it up.

Super-friendly pub. A wide choice of drinks, including local ales and spirits. Great artwork by local artists adorn the walls, and is updated frequently. The guys who own the place are really lovely. If you’re hungry, you can order a selection of pizzas at the bar, which are supplied by nearby Pizzarelli Restaurant, and delivered warm and fresh to your table at the pub. You need to visit, if only to check out the cheeky WiFi code password!

fantastic queer friendly pub just off the sea front. Great selection of beers and funky decor. Saturday night, music was a first class selection of 90s pop hits. no kitchen but they serve pizza provided by a local restaurant, highly recommended. looking forward to visiting again next time I'm town.

Very cosmopolitan pub, a great vibe to it and fab stocked bar. This area is changing and becoming a hip place to visit pubs and restaurants.

Went there about 6pm on a Friday. Good real ale, nice team and decent clentele.

The couple that run this establishment are experienced publicans that run a great pub with options for food to order in, a great selection of beer and wine and an atmosphere courtesy of both the decor and clientele that just isn’t replicated anywhere else in the town.

Great find although been there for 12 years. Nice friendly staff..nice pints unusual decor. The video that plays on the tv is very hypnotic!!

The owners are lovely guys and make it a pleasure to visit. The beer is great too.

We visited St Leonard’s/Hastings for a weekend away from London and luckily stumbled upon this little gem. The staff were great - as were the tunes. Had a great vibe. You can order in pizzas which were also really good. Will definitely return if we’re in the area again!

The St Leonard's is a great friendly pub frequented by interesting people. What I enjoy the most is the art work on the walls which is updated every few months.

Enjoyed it in here. Whilst the table booking was irksome, staff were friendly and the "substantial meal" menu was reasonable. Great range of drinks. Comfy seats, Definitely will be back.

A good little local boozer. Puts on fabulous art shows and used to do zany bingo. Worth a visit if you are in town. They even have an installation by Deborah Bowness of my photography pasted to the walls downstairs.

Popped in for a beer on a Saturday afternoon for a quick beer, different beers on offer and bar man allowed me to try before but to see which one I liked. Allowed dogs and great decor

Had a drink here, decent pub, bit dark and basically London prices, but maybe that's normal for Hastings.

What a totally amazing find ,you get to mix with Normal people, but as your scan the room you could see international actors relaxing in that environment it’s hard to describe I felt at home as soon as o walk through the doors , cool decor , what a total Gem . Reminds me of an old school pub But with artwork. The 2 Owners are onsite and make your welcome . Please add or your your list , not to be missed 👍😬

friendly service, good beer selection, decent coffee - i really like this pub, which is just up london rd from the seafront. i think owner had a similar place in highgate in north london before?

This is a cool pub with tasty beers and you can order from Pizzarelli too at the bar . And munch on it in the pub . The owners are friendly and actually work behind the bar .

Fantastic atmosphere with excellent staff

So the landlords refused to serve me, due to my hearing disability.....I was completely discriminated against. After notifying the landlords of this, they completely ignored me....I had already booked a table for 8 people on a dinner evening, which I have cancelled and caused inconvenience to my friends due the arrogance and lack of compassion. Humiliated! Lucky for me, my friends have been super supportive and wouldn't want to attend

Nice modern room, popular with the young and employed. Basic décor, but atmospheric. Well kept beers and enthusiastic staff. Relatively up-market for the area. I haven't eaten here; indeed I don't know if they offer food.

Having spent the day in Hastings Old Town with friends a member of our group recommended we get a taxi to The St Leonards public house. Upon arrival, we met some more friends and ordered some drinks from the bar. I stood at the bar minding my own business when a member of staff took the drink from my hand and walked off in a strop refusing to recognize my attempt to enquire what I had done. It wasn’t until I managed to get the attention of another member of staff that I had found out that a member of our party (funnily enough the same friend who recommended the public house) had upset staff through her boisterous behavior and subsequently we were refused service. I fully appreciate that it’s the staff right to refuse service but the manner in which this was handed was deplorable. Having lived in Hastings for 40+ years, owned our own public house and restaurant as well as visited the majority of others in the area, I have never been treated in this manner before. I won’t be visiting your premises again.

This is a very busy pub (probably the busiest in St Leonards - it is in St Leonards, not Hastings) with very nice and friendly staff and management. It can get a bit too busy at times and because of the hard surfaces can get very loud so it is hard to always have a conversation. Very nice when not so busy, say early on a Sunday evening (it closes at 9pm on a Sunday). There is always an art exhibition on and they serve a range of ever-changing real ales. Some groups of customers can be a bit cliquey but are always polite and there is never any trouble here.

Lovely pub. Good vibe and reasonably priced. If you're in St Leonards needing a beer, this is a good bet
