The Springfield Bar and Grill in Haringey

The pub is great but the food is absaloutly disgusting. All frozen. The roast lamb tasted like kebab meat and the pudding pudding looked and tasted like a microwaved sponge. It was disgusting.

What a great atmosphere in this local pub, the new chef is a lovely and the food on another level. If you fancy a Roast or Curry Goat they have it.

A really lovely "proper pub". The staff are helpful and friendly and are so nice to our son who is autistic. At the moment they are not doing food, although pre-covid we used to eat in there every week. I understand there are plans to offer meals again. Highly recommended!

The staff were so lovely. We went for my sisters dad's funeral. I highly recommend this place. Really kind staff so helpful. And will recommend this place. So if your in bounds green take a trip in there. You won't regret it.

I haven't been to The Springfield for a while, due to covid and my busy work schedule. I decided to go for a couple of pints, so I rang a mate and arranged to meet him at the pub. I walked to the pub from the direction of the tube station, as I walked along I noticed the curtains were closed and it looked like the pub was closed so I headed to the pub down the road, my mate called to see were I was, so I said it looked like it was closed, he said he would meet me as Sarah was turning lights off and putting chairs on tables, it was around 10.15pm, I tried again in the week and was greeted with the same, curtains closed, chairs on tables and some lights off. What's going on ? I went back to the pub last week and also at the weekend, the curtains were open and the lights were on, about time . My mate called to meet up for a couple of pints this week, I might meet him depending on whether we can get a table with no chairs on it before 9.30pm ? .

I was in the mood for a nice roast. I was disappointed. The roast beef was overcooked and tough to chew (well beyond well done). The Yorkshire puddings was flat and tasteless. Our waitresses was very kind but not prepared to answer any questions about the menu. Not great

I went with my kids and parents as they were in holidays and the food and service was beautiful! Defiantly coming back soon!!!

Went for a couple of drinks after work, as usual Sarah sitting drinking, not working, whats the point in paying her to sit and drink when she should be working like the bar staff, every time i pop in she is sitting drinking, not good for a manager's assistant, feel sorry for bar staff.

Food was absolutely awful mash potatoes were liquid, cabbage was rubbery and boiled bacon tough. Second time to eat here and very disappointed. Would not recommend to eat here.

Went for dinner no special occasion food was average to say the least and their daily special of frajita was disappointing. Grease dripping from the wrap old chargrilled? Avocado?? Just tasted like plain chargrilled chicken n veg with what was more like curry favouring than Mexican. Husband had a burger which was dry and my sons fish burger was served on a stale/frozen bun which just crumbled.

I had my son's holly communion there great people great staff the manager Andrew was great top Irish bar .

Slightly surprised: this is real (!) a pub with roaring guys, soccer game on TV, a dining area in the middle of it all. Some of the guys laying over chairs. We almost left, kids a bit uncomfortable, but glad we stayed. Nice waiters, really excellent food for a really good price! Succulent Sunday roast, burgers and fish and chips! Actually quite impressed!

La clientela es en su mayoría los grandes sin lavar, los sobre medicados, los que están mal medicados y los no deseados. Incluso los jubilados sentados tranquilamente en la esquina parecen agravados con la vida y listos para asesinar por ser vistos como "graciosos". ¡Limpia tus pies al salir!

Needed to find somewhere local serving Sunday Roast so a tourist could find out what it was all about, and this place didn't disappoint. A very nice venue with the right kind of pub feel, and friendly staff. The roast was a good size (I did enjoy the chicken, it was just too much for me to finish!), good value, very good flavour, and I'm a fan of whatever yorkshire mix they used. Praise goes to the chef, and staff, and I'd definitely eat here again.

We had our wedding venue there three weeks ago and had a blast! Andrew the manager and the bar staff were absolutely brilliant! Andrew was extremely accommodating and ensured all our demands were met. Being Mauritian and my husband Irish, Andrew played Mauritian, Irish, English and Bollywood songs. We had part of the pub and the garden area, which we decorated the night before. Andrew had a Dj as well as a bouncer for us, all free of charge. The lunch and dinner were very nice and the drinks were also very affordable. We were even allowed to bring our own Mauritian food and wedding cake too. We even changed into our Asian attire in the afternoon too. I gladly and highly recommend this pub for its food, drinks and lovely staff. Thank you for making our special day even more special!

Organizamos fiestas de cumpleaños nuestra abuela aquí y Andrew y el equipo no podría haber sido más servicial o complaciente! Catering, y un montón de fantásticos- y podríamos hacer una lista de reproducción y decorar spotify que el equipo eran felices para jugar a través de su sistema de sonido. Las bebidas eran muy razonables y es un espacio encantador para una fiesta. Andrew era siempre a mano y super servicial antes y durante la noche. No dudaría en recomendarlo de nuevo - y sin duda volveremos!

A genuinely fantastic local pub, showing all sports you can imagine. The food is exceptionally good value, really really tasty. The chef and manager clearly take pride. Highly recommend.

We had our Engagement Party here a few weeks back. From start to end, the staff were so friendly, so accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. We had a big crowd in and everyone was praising the pub, it's food, it's bar service, it's location and DJ. We had an absolutely brilliant night and one we'll never forget!

This pub is clean all the time food is nice they have a great mix of food for the kids to have better choice too even for adults too bar staff are wonderfull they are such a great bunch I wood recommend it for birthday party or any kind of party just call them they be glad and help you regards to food and drink for your party

Since the refurb this is a decent pub with good prices. Some of the food is great, some is a little lower in quality e.g. steak. It does get quite loud and busy.

Este pub ha cambiado completamente su imagen y comida desde su puesto a punto hace un par de años. No es el lugar más emocionante, pero limpio, seguro y razonable y la comida los precios de las bebidas. La comida está caliente, fresca y deliciosa y estoy contento por los propietarios que el pub está haciendo bien porque solía ser una mujer sucia y otro no caminar a solas. Estoy muy contento de ir allí ahora.

initially hesitant to go in as i thought it would be a place where you would feel out of place but the staff and regulars are friendly ... good selection of drinks and food ... a nice place to hang-out

Han cambiado el menú en el Springfield y debo decir que es una mejora importante. Fuimos una familia para un asado el domingo y estaba delicioso. Tenía el vientre de cerdo asado y que se derretía en la boca y mi hijo no podía apartarse de las costillas de la barbacoa y la carne asada era fantástico. Los precios han subido un poco, pero he de decir que de verdad merece la pena.

This is a busy, energetic place. Thefood is great and the service is efficient and pleasant. They show the football. What more could you want?

La ubicación, justo al lado de un Supermercado Tesco en una calle concurrida, no parece prometedor, pero el pub es muy decente. Hicimos hamburguesas y eran frescas y adecuadamente a la parrilla, con guarniciones de sabroso. Buena selección de ale y cerveza. Había un juego de esa noche, pero aunque el pub estaba lleno, el ambiente era bastante tranquilo. Ojalá encontrado antes, como Vivo muy cerca y nunca pensé que podría ser tan agradable.

I've not eaten here so can't comment, but the pub itself is very nice (it was completely refurbished recently). I've been here several times.Very good selection of ales and beers, service is good and staff pleasant. It's a bit of a blokes bar, several TV screens around and a lot of the previous (bloke) customers still come. However, it's a friendly place so no worries there.For somewhere that's not too fancy and, it seems, no children (or at least none whenever I've been there) this is good place to go.

Great pub. Lots of masculine rugged men there during day. Its a great place for top notch eye candy for gay men. I want to fall in love there lol and the owners are horny looking too.

We are locals and often find ourselves by the bar, comes the end of the week. We love the Springfield Bar, its gentle, cosy atmosphere, good quality food, top service. Having tried a number of pubs, it's unbeatable!

Very nice place to visit for a meal, good menu and pleasant staff. We enjoyed our food very much. Only been at lunchtime so we don't know how busy the evenings would be.

This meal was awesome. I don't like onion yet I loved these onion rings! The mushrooms were amazing and the steak was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend. The bar staff were lovely and gave us table service even though we were in the bar part. There are tables outside and TVs that show sport, what more could you want?!

My husband and children organised a surprise 50th Birthday Party for me on 21st May 2016. It was an amazing night for about 80 guests. The staff were absolutely amazing, particularly Dave and Aoife who went out of their way to make sure we were happy and satisfied with everything even to the point of hiring my favourite local band for the evening.A great night! This pub has excellent food and great weekly offers. They have one of the best fish and chips we've had and we love their burgers. The portions are huge and we always leave the place feeling quite full. There is a separate dining area which is great if you want to have a quiet meal. Very friendly and accommodating staff also. We go there very frequently as we live locally and they've never disappointed us.

Food is horrible and unpalatable and very over priced,cheap frozen veg and inedible meat .So don't waste your time and money here go to a local cafe instead. Management threatening and arrogant when you complain..To be avoided

Cheap pub. Really cheap actually, a pint for £3.60. Food was fine, nothing special. Was ultra quiet on a tuesday night though, about 10 customers in a pretty big pub.

Recently been refurbished this pub offers good value food and drink. The staff are fantastic and warm and friendly. It was my husbands 50th on Saturday and we reserved the back part of the pub at no charge. We had hot finger food which was lovely and the staff couldn't do enough for us. They had a band on which brilliant then music afterwards. Great time had by all. Thank you.

Saw the punching preachers here the other night and was really impressed with the band. Pub has a nice atmosphere and there were plenty of bar staff to ensure that you got served quickly.

The pub was bought and refurbished by its new owner in 2013 and he did a fantastic job. My partner and I used to be regulars at The Ranelagh, which is also lovely, but I have to admit they lost us to the Springfield. The Springfield is a great a local pub that serves proper traditional pub food that is delicious, generous, affordable and well presented without falling into the frivolous 'gastro-pub' category. The fact that is not part of a chain makes it even more special as the owner and staff are keen to know and listen to their customers, taking suggestions and adapting things where possible. The drinks are decently priced, too.My partner and I love the place; every Friday we go for a drink and a meal and we feel valued as customers. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and very friendly, without being intrusive. Even the chef knows who we are and knows some of the special requests we make, without having to be reminded of them. There is a lot of 'attention to detail' in the service they provide. Apart from the food and prices, perhaps it is the more personal, cheerful and warmer attitude The Springfield staff display towards customers, what makes my partner and I feel more comfortable and valued here than at The Ranelagh.The place is spotless and has a great atmosphere with separate areas where people can follow the latest sports or have a quiet drink and something to eat. I love the fact that I can take family and friends to this pub, when they come to visit me. When I have done it, they have been impressed by the service, the food and the atmosphere. I am lucky to have such a great local pub!!

This is a regular for me and my partner, we've dubbed it our pub. We've tried most of the selection on the menu and I can honestly say we've never had a bad meal. Surprisingly it is always quiet during the lunch time and early evenings. We can always find a spot to eat, there are tv's dotted around the pub showing sports. This was particularly good during the recent commonwealth Games, it's also a nice spot if you want to have a meal and follow football. The staff are friendly, attentive helpful and we'd particularly like to compliment the chef. We're foodies and the food here ranks among some of the best we've had.We would definitely recommend this place, although selfishly we like that it's quiet but equally we know that they are unlikely to be able to sustain the business if they don't increase the numbers of customers. Check out Monday and Tuesday they do a £2 off main dish from 5pm and the drinks aren't overpriced either.

Ate here two out of four evenings! Fish & Chips are out of this world and absolutely more than you can eat. Great selection of beer. Other items on menu varied and were excellent as well.

Amazing weather and came in early evening to enjoy the last of the sun, all 5 of us had roast beef and it was served medium, perfect! Lots of well cooked veg but sadly the roast potatoes were a little chewy on the outside
