Never fails to impress with the value and quality of the food served here. We enjoyed the 'Munchy Monday' menu today. Top notch!

Wonderful Yorkshire puddings with the Sunday dinner. This place is cosy and friendly. Staff cannot do enough to help and the prices are reasonable. Although the place is a little dated in parts this does not distract from the relaxed and friendly ambience and the feeling that nothing is too much trouble if it makes diners happy. Definitely recommended, particularly for a Sunday Roast.

Definitely favourite, amazing food, amazing staff. When we were in was quiet absolutely loved it.

Took the missus and kids for a meal. Food was cracking. Nice atmosphere and staff are all polite. Went above and beyond. Highly recommend to anyone. Will be visiting again

We visited the Spinners today which is one of our favourite eating places although today's visit was different in that me and my daughter and two of my sisters were taking my mum who is wheelchair bound to visit the Spinners as it was somewhere she used to go with my dad and so perfect place to take her on my dad's anniversary. The Spinners doesn't have access for someone in a wheelchair but this wasn't an issue for Glen and his team. The three men dutifully lifted her in the wheelchair - obviously the food, atmosphere and service was on point but this extra bit of kindness was above and beyond. Thank you so much to Glen and the boys - we will be back!

Lovely food, nice, warm welcome on arrival, great service and huge selection of drinks. Third visit today and won’t be our last.

9 of us dined on Friday night, on arrival Jamie behind the bar served us with our drinks and we were shown to our table. The menus were given and orders taken. All the food arrived together, not one person was left waiting. The food was amazing as always none of us were left with empty glasses the whole evening was a huge success. Glen and Emma, you have the best team ever at the Spinners and this is our way of saying thank you all of you xx

My favourite pub ever. Good food, service and very friendly. They take dogs also. There's an area outside which is in the sun all day. It's reasonably priced and when it's busy we've always been accommodated, once we'd been on a walk and there were 10 of us and although we had to wait a while we were sat down all together and had a super meal. I'd definitely recommend The Spinners at Cowling.

Hubby and I had a great meal in a lovely and friendly environment. Clam chowder is exceptional.

Very good soup and the staff couldn't do more for us they we're lovely. Kids food came out with starters too so they didn't have to wait long. :)

Me and Val ate here Saturday evening its warm and welcoming it was full and recommend you book as its rightly very popular, the staff were friendly and very professional and the food was amazing we will defiantly be dining here again a gem of a place

Came here for tea with my boyfriend last Saturday night around quarter past 7. You could tell with how busy it was it was going to be good! We got greeted as soon as we came in. We had to wait around the bar till our table was ready but this wasn’t a problem as we was actually seated earlier than our booking. The service was lovely and the food especially!! Honestly the best tea out I’ve had in a while. Nice choice range on the menu. We shared the garlic muscles in white wine sauce for starters which where absolutely amazing. I had the steak, and my boyfriend went with the seafood pasta! His bowl was absolutely massive and even he couldn’t finish it! So they kindly boxed it up so we could bring it home! I wish I had room for dessert but the portion sizes are honestly that filling! Really can’t wait to come back again!!

A friend and I had lunch here today, no starters for us, Battered Fish & chips for me and seafood linguine for my friend, For sweets we both had the sticky toffee pudding, mine with ice cream and my friend had it with custard. Food was red hot and delicious, would have given 5 stars except they didn’t have any bitter lemon for my gin. However we enjoyed it, so Thank You to all at The Spinners.

Amazing food last night especially the the starter of the triple fish which was on the specials menu. It was so tasty. That needs to added the the main menu 100%

What a gem! Visited for the first time tonight and they went above and beyond! Myself and little boy can't have dairy and the team really reassured us and adapted the menu. The food was amazing and really well priced! We will be back

As a PUB, it's 5 stars. Decent car park, great cosy, clean building. It's not a Michelin fine dining experience. Don't expect a 10 course culinary extravaganza, and complain when otherwise. It's just lots of good, simple, great values meals, both simple and fancy, great service, and friendly environment, and a bar to boot.

Fantastic food as always, those desserts are amazing. The service is excellent, really friendly staff. Can't fault it in anyway. Highly recommend eating here.

We went for a 70th Birthday meal - there was 14 of us so a big table. It's a small pleasent little pub - but the food was absolutely amazing and the roast looked mouthwatering! Food - BRILLIANT. Staff - So friendly, polite and nothing was too much for them. Service - 10/10. Would highly recommend and will be returning soon!

Myself and my wife often visit The Spinners with our children and family, we’re frequent visitors to their sister pub, The Cardwell at Adlington too. The food is always a consistently high quality and as a vegetarian, I always feel well catered for.My personal favourite is the Vegetable Stroganoff, which is easily the best that I’ve ever tasted. I always have mine with their triple-cooked Chips. My other half’s favourite is the fillet beef Stroganoff, she has hers with half rice and half chips, she tells me that this is the best Stroganoff she’s ever eaten!The portion sizes are great, I’ve got a large appetite and I’m never hungry when I leave. Similarly, we feel the choice and quality of the children’s menu is great too, the food is always fresh, home-made and the kids really enjoy their meals.Considering the quality of the food is so high, the prices are very reasonable. If you’re looking for two cheap meals for £10, you’re in the wrong place, but they regularly have offers on through the week/lunchtimes. The pub has a great family atmosphere, a trait that is often lost in ‘chain’ pubs and you really feel valued as a customer, making you want to return time and again. If there has ever been anything wrong with our food, it’s been replaced without question and the staff could not be more apologetic (not that it’s happened often!) I’ve recommended the pub to friends and family, work colleagues and more and can’t wait till we go back again!

We visited on Sunday 13th June for a birthday celebration. The food was delicious as usual. All the staff friendly and helpful. When we arrived asked to sit somewhere cool as it was boiling, no trouble at all. The rhubarb cheesecake was AMAZING too.

A group of 15 of us (mixed adult and children) attended for a 21st birthday meal. We had a wait for our drinks (although it was a busy bank holiday). The food was amazing and all served hot. We had all pre-ordered. I had the garlic chicken which was perfect and very delicious! The Spinners accommodated various menu requests. The food was all hot when it came out and my Grandma says it was the best fish pie she has ever had, with a variety of fish in it. The portions were huge. The only thing my uncle was surprised by was the sea bass served complete including head.The owner even came to see us check everything was ok.I'll be back very soon for more garlic chicken and cannot wait for them to start doing takeaway again!

We dined at the Spinners on the 9th June. We always have such tasty food and this was no exception. Helpful friendly staff, we dined outside and felt covid secure. Thanks guys

Food was absolutely delicious! We felt very safe with COVID safety measures. There is a very nice outdoor seating area which is undercover with heaters so perfect for a more chilly night and an open decking area for sunny days. Very good value for money and I will definitely be returning.

Absolutely fantastic food yesterday at The Spinners at Cowling. I had paella and my husband had supreme chicken both where amazing. My paella had lots of meat and fish and was very tasty, my husband’s chicken supreme was very garlicky . The prices can seem a little on the expensive side but once you see the portion sizes and quality of ingredients then it’s so worth it. I love a menu when you can’t decide which dish to have as they all sound delightful and this menu definitely did that in fact I said to the husband if we can come once a month to try other dishes. Staff couldn’t do enough for you, I was on crutches and they helped me in which way would be best for me to go to the toilet and what not. Very good premium lager and a good variety grape wine. Very impressed can’t wait to come back. Many thanks guys

Dog friendly. Gluten free options available - I liked that staff were upfront when unsure and got clarification from the kitchen before making recommendations. Regular check-ins from personable staff. Consistent Covid masks/ sanitation visible on all staff. Lots of parking spaces. Delicious food, appropriately priced & generously portioned. Very happy with depth of flavour! Didn't enjoy the flow of water underfoot in the outdoor marquees - not sure of the source, but we got wet feet while dining. Right at the end of the meal, experienced a strong, uh, "pastoral" smell from a neighbouring cow field... but that's not really under the control of the restaurant - and honestly the views of the surrounding fields (with livestock) are phenomenal! Looking forward to indoor dining when able. Not easily wheelchair accessible.
