Great spot. Well worth stopping by for a bite to eat any time of day.

I come here occasionally on weekends for a takeaway. The food is absolutely excellent, and made to order so is extremely fresh. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served, and the feel of the place is authentic. Throughly recommend to everyone, especially the burgers, fried chicken and the seasoned fries. Delicious!

Amazing food we had 4 meal boxes. 3 pulled pork and rice and a 4 meat meal All were incredible. Owner is super friendly and chattered for ages with us. Will definitely be going back again on our next trip over.

We happened to come on a day when Matthew was serving Crispy Asian Chicken as a special! I ordered it and thought I had gone to heaven! It is my favorite thingto eat in Aberystwyth! I go back weekly, and he always fixes it for me. I am pushing for it to be on his daily menu! Also, Matthew is the nicest guy! What more could you ask for?!

The food is nothing but top class! Plenty to choose from I had the bourbon smoked sausage, pulled pork and deep fried chicken bites with rice and peas. Absolutely phenomenal you will not be disappointed

Fabulous burgers and superb jerk Chicken box!

Just had the Moroccan Lamb burger. Normally my favorite is the chicken wrap but this was outstanding. Great food, great service too, always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend it. If you're looking for great barbecue style food the Smoke shack Aberystwyth is definitely the best place to go.

Had lunch here today for the first time, amazing food and you get a lot of it for your money. We had the pulled pork box meal, fried chicken wrap and cheesy garlic bread, it was delicious and the best BBQ we have had. We will definitely be back the next time we are here.

Don't know what to say really except... it was unreal. It's the first time I've actually enjoyed some good old food once in a while. Expect me to come back again sometime and I'll be getting more than just a fried chicken flatbread!

Food was bloody gorgeous! Lovely people behind the counter. Service was good even though it was pretty busy. Atmosphere wasn’t amazing as it was raining but that’s the only reason why the atmosphere wasn’t good if it was sunny it would have been an amazing but all in all amazing and worth it.

REAL food with no horrible additives a must for all starving individuals. Cooked while you wait so its lovely and fresh by really friendly people. Parking is easy with no restrictions. Cars lorries bikes everything!

Amazing food, we visited last October and couldn’t wait to come back as we aren’t local! A large array of sauces to choose from and they are all delicious. Pulled pork is to die for! Good price for such good food and generous helpings! Couldn’t recommend more! (Even the little one enjoyed her hot dog!)

One of the most delicious places I have been to. I nearly died and went to heaven with the food. It's quite expensive but the food is absolutely top quality and service. I am dreaming of coming back.

After travelling all day we were about to stop at a Mcdonald's nearby but saw this place and decided to stop here instead. And what a great decision that was. My fried chicken burger was crispy and flavoursome, the fries were crispy and well seasoned. Filled the hole like Mcdonalds never could, what a scrumptious meal. Thank you sir, keep it up 🙏

OMG, why do the people of Aber go further down the road to McDonald's when the Smoke Shack is so unbelievably good. I've tasted a lot of authentic US smoke house style BBQ and this is up there with the best By far the best I have ever tasted in the UK. Between us we had a cheese and bacon burger, fries, bbq pulled pork box, and fried chicken cheese and chips flat bread. All were devine and that's not to mention the BBQ sauce. I so wanted to try the half chicken but I struggled to finish the pulled pork box - there is that much. If you're in Aberystwyth it's a must visit, I'm certainly going back there, might even detour there next time I'm in Wales

Stopped here after a long day travelling around Aberystwyth, outstanding food. pulled pork was the best I’ve had. Bbq beans were very nice. Nice quiet place with plenty of parking. Would deffo recommend visiting for a bite to eat. Will be back soon

We happend upon this hidden gem on a whim passing through Aberystwyth after a very long journey. And it was a god send. My partner and I ordered the bbq pulled pork wrap which came with chips, salad, coleslaw and a very generous portion of pork. It was delicious. The man running the place couldn't have been nicer, such a friendly atmosphere and good quality food. A must visit if you like bbq style food.

Was visiting Aberystwyth with my partner and 2 children. Struggled to find somewhere that did decent food for all of us and came across this place. Cracking find! Food was awesome, reasonably priced. The man running the shack was really nice and chatty and his 2 kids were helping him (during half term) they were really pleasant and polite.

By far the best BBQ I've ever been to. Plenty of parking available, a location that's out of the way and peaceful. Food is immaculate in every way. The meat is succulent and the flavours go so well with everything. Great value for what you get, you get a hearty meal that fills you up for the rest of the day. Gotta say the way the chips are made, I can't get over them and the seasoning! Always looking forward to coming back and the owner is awesome, easy to have a conversation with and very friendly 👍

Best bbq in Wales? We had take away for 5 adults which cost us less than £50. We dropped in and only waited for 10 minutes, easily matching other fast food joints, but double the taste. Half jerk chicken was superb, perfectly seasoned and cooked in a smoker so still succulent, came with a mountain of skin on fries, slaw and bbq beans which was too much for one, though nothing was left. Double bacon cheese burger was one of the best ever eaten with jucy burger patties. Fried chicken burgers had an incredible batter. Smoked bourbon hot dog could not last 5 minutes, perfectly smoked. If you are looking for a treat, go to the smoke shack.

Me and my friends absolutely adore this place. It is the best food in Aberystwyth. We used to get it on Deliveroo but they stopped doing delivery so we started driving down. Sadly it’s not open on weekends anymore because the breakfast wrap is perfect for hangovers. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

This is a hidden gem! Everything was great about this place. Wide variety of food to select from, and you get alot for the price! I paid only £8 for a chicken wrap with salad and fries. Food was good, service was great, only waited around 10 mins. Great place for a quick, delicious dinner.

Sat here in the sun great food and grandchildren feed they said best food they've had on holiday.

Really good chicken and chips box meal. Good variety and a bit different. Only criticism is the burger Pattie seemed small.

Don’t bother going to McDonald’s when you have this around the corner the food is awesome and they have seating area outside too where you can watch the train drive past.

Dropped by on route after a day out, we ordered the pulled beef and pork box meals. All the family thoroughly enjoyed, even the fussiest youngest raved about the food. Shame we visited on our 2nd to last day before leaving the area as the menu offered lots more! Great to see pop up local food places like this!
