Food was lovely and staff so friendly would definitely go back when I’m next in the city of Derry highly recommend

Cannot recommed this place enough. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff that are great at their jobs and delicious food at fair prices. Great lunchtime menu with something for everyone - definitely will be back for more!!

Super cafe with great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hygiene in this pandemic era was great with all tables and chairs thoroughly disinfected between customers. The food was really good and the coffee truly excellent. Highly recommended.

Have been here twice on visits to Derry for breakfast & lunch, both times have been very happy with the quality food & such friendly service, best of luck with reopening of indoor dining today.

Visitamos la despensa hoy y seguimos visitándola regularmente, ¿por qué? Venimos aquí porque el personal es muy acogedor, la cafetería está impecable y la comida es deliciosa. El olor a bollo recién horneado le da la bienvenida al entrar y hay que probar los desayunos calientes. Si se encuentra en Derry y le apetece un capricho, visite Scullery, no se sentirá decepcionado.

Such a warm welcome and food was gorgeous. I had toasted bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon. It was divine. We ordered a pot of tea for two and without asking, they topped it up. Would highly recommend.

Really had an enjoyable meal, with my selection on a Panini with curry chicken and peanuts. Really enjoyed the brunch and able to make payment using spare Euros which was really convenient. Partner enjoyed a hot chocolate with beautiful vegetable soup.

Partner had a got chocolate and nice thick vegetable soup. nice chilled atmosphere . also handy to be able to get an exchange rate and pay using Euros which is a real plus factor in Derry.

Delightful cafe with the nicest scones, I went for raspberry and white chocolate. It came with jam and cream and was so fresh. Lovely mellow Matthew Algie coffee as well. Absolutely delicious and I will be returning next time I'm in Derry.

Primero Chantelle, mi servidor fue excelente, muy amable y servicial, nada fue una molestia para ella, tuve el tocino de waffle y el jarabe de arce con crema, porciones abundantes y excelente sabor con un excelente café. Ambiente relajado con buenas instalaciones de baño para discapacitados y área para cambiar pañales. Recomiendo totalmente este café para visitantes locales y extranjeros por igual.

Lovely cafe, stopped for coffee and tea which was excellent while touring the city, two of my daughters only wanted hot water with a slice of lemon, which was no problem, staff friendly, clean cafe, used the ladies, which was super clean. Thank you.

Este es un lugar fantástico para el almuerzo con productos recién horneados y alimentos integrales. Un montón de opciones para todos los estilos de comedor. El porche es un lugar encantador para ver a los transeúntes, en la calle, en una calle sin automóviles. Definitivamente la manera de pasar un tiempo de comida perezosa en Derry.

Fuimos a la cafetería para tomar un café por la mañana, etc. Home = scones hechos con mermelada y crema muy bien presentados. Tuve un encantador tazón de papilla que venía con fresas y miel en el lado. Todo traído a la mesa y personal muy agradable. Una delicia. Hecho nuestro día especial. volvimos para el almuerzo Muy bien vale una visita cuando alrededor de la zona de las paredes.

El personal aquí es muy amable. Nos recibieron al llegar y nos dieron un alegre adiós cuando nos fuimos. Hay un ambiente agradable y la decoración es industrial shabby chic.

Went here with a friend. When we went to order the member staff at the till was very ignorant and didn’t seem at all interested in helping as with our order. I was shocked at the price for two simple paninis and a coffee, which were extremely lacking in flavour!! If I’m paying for dear food I expect it to be worth it!! The only thing that was good was the coffee. Bad first impression, which may lead to not returning again.

This was a nice respite from Christmas shopping. We were treated very well by the staff and the food was quite pleasant.

The service was friendly and the coffe as well as the hot chocolate were quite big and delicious. My friend absolutely loved the cake (I think it was called rocky road).

We’ve been here lots of times for breakfast and brunch and we’re never disappointed! Great service, great food and lots of sweet treats on offer too!! Busy little spot at lunch time so get in early!

We had the soup and a sandwich. Both were great. The service was friendly and the prices were fair. This place is just down the shopping strip near the government building where most busses stop. This is a small local delight.

Came across The Scullery by accident on brief visit to Derry. Well worth calling in and getting yourself something to eat. Very friendly and amicable staff. Not that expensive and free WiFi.

I call in quite regularly when out shopping, its a great location in the town centre, staff are friendly and helpful nothings to much bother for them, and the food is fresh and delicious, with home-made treats, always made to feel at home

I have visited here a few times but only getting around to writing a review now. All three times I visited were weekend mornings for brunch. The food has been fantastic everytime and perfect coffee too.

Very enjoyable lunch for two. The staff were really nice and patient and interested to engage. The food was great - lovely soup and vegetarian options were indulged. Coffee is a must. Toilets really clean and modern. Not crowded, met a local and struck up a conversation. Not rushed out. Could not fault the place or people. Thanks to all invovled.

Very pleased to find The Scullery Cafe just off the Riverfront. We were a group of 8. Good range of inexpensive tasty options - very friendly staff. We were all able to sit around a single table with plenty of space for all. No sense of rush or pressure to 'move on'.

was here a few weeks ago lovely staff friendly atmosphere.food was lovely. only slight niggle. when I make egg and onion sandwiches at home I mash up the egg and mix with the onions and some mayo to bind. here the eggs were sliced. very tasty but the egg were falling out of the sandwich.

Coffee freshly made and very good including non dairy choices. The breakfast options were all freshly made and tasty and the service and flexibility was very good for mixing and matching. Not a lot of vegan options but they were willing to flex the menu and create things which was great

Comimos aquí en un día lluvioso. El menú no era enorme, pero la comida estaba muy bien. El personal era servicial y educado, y el precio era muy razonable

No desayunamos en el hotel, así que estuvimos buscando un lugar que estaba abierto antes de las 12 de la mañana del domingo. Este era el más cercano en tripadvisor. Era un lugar de moda con iluminación fría y taburete. Es un lugar relajado con un menú amplio y los hizo rollitos y bocadillos sabrosos, como también parecía no las tartas y bollos. Casero. Aunque no deleitarse sin gluten de diario y gratuito de eliminación. Mi marido fue el pequeño scullery fry, vinieron todos bien presentado y con pan recién tostado que era cálida (a veces en hoteles suelen venir frío) y dijo aunque no mucho era muy sabroso. Los huevos también tenía una yema blanda, lo cual es una ventaja. Comí una ensalada de lechuga, tomate, pollo y salmón ahumado y era preciosa y muy abundante, a diferencia de muchos lugares con ensaladas César más lechuga que nada esta fue una pila con carne y pescado. Teníamos un té y café americano A LAVARLO.

We went ther for breakfast 3 days on a row, finding a very nice apple pie, and a surprising pastel de nata, made by a person known by the owner. the environment is very nice and people really friedly.

Try the Avocado Toast! There aren't many breakfast choices, but what they offer is good. The music is a bit loud first thing in the morning. The industrial motif is quite stylish.

Ordered two frys and my partners fry was swimming in grease and my sausage and bacon were undercooked and eggs were hard. Looked like they were cooked earlier. The only thing we ate was the toast and beans. We have been there before for coffees and scones etc but definitely won't be ordering breakfast again. Staff are polite and friendly and the place is cozy.

This was the first place I went when I flew to Derry to meet my boyfriend's parents and it was lovely. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff were very friendly. I make sure to go every time I'm in Derry even if it is just for a coffee. Would definitely recommend people visit the scullery when in Derry.

Inviting establishment with attentive and friendly staff. The Boss is a gentleman and really looks after his 'locals' as well as his visitors. He offers blankets for those brave enough to sit outside and people watch. Love it. Brownie yummy, caramel squares a favourite and soup hearty and hot.

Absolute great place for lunch, good food, good coffee, lovely staff, just the right place to go to eat.

My wife and I called in here for a bite to eat while out shopping, as we have lunched here before.My wife had scrambled egg on toast while I had the breakfast meal, our particular favourites, as usual the meals were excellent.Service and quality are their strong points as is cleanliness, prices are reasonable and another great thing about The Scullery is that it is in the city centre on Waterloo street.Will be back for my favourite meal shortly.

We had breakfast here twice. The decor is rustic industrial and leather, very cozy and yet comfortable enough to handle eight of us. The food was quite good, simple, hearty and healthy.

I had a really nice breakfast here of good coffee and good toast with avacado and perfectly poached eggs. Free wifi available too and staff are nice and friendly. There is a nice atmosphere and I would visit again if I was in Derry.

The atmosphere in the place is very cozy. Popped in to this place to grab some breakfast and we ordered Scullery fry and it was excellent. Sausages were beautiful and clonakilty puddings were fresh and tasty. My flat white was exactly like I ordered it (not too hot, some places just ignore you). So all in all, we will be returning back on our next visit to Derry.

Ordered the "Crispy" Bacon, Poached eggs & Wheaten bread. The 2 eggs were slimy and the 1 piece of bacon wasn't crispy. So shocked at the price considering the quality and quantity. He also ordered a fry with no beans and got beans :@.

When I was in Londonderry I visited a couple of times for brunch and lunch. The staff are friendly and service was good. There is an excellent choice of dishes, and healthy options are in place.

Located just outside the walls in an area that I thought was just pubs is this local looking clean coffee shop cakes and coffee was nice. But cant comment on the breakfast or full menu of sandwiches. Hopefully I will be back.

Located just outside the city walls, the Scullery is a delightful cafe offering coffees, teas, smoothies, and light meals. I had the chicken pesto wrap and a mixed fruit smoothie for ~8 GBP. Friendly service, fresh ingredients, warm atmosphere.

Great service and welcome from the owner Dermot and his team. Super home cooked food, freshly baked scones and lovely tea and coffee. A welcome place to visit, you will leave refreshed.

Called in to the scullery on a trip through the city.At the bottom of a waterloo street just on the outside of the wall.This is a great little coffee shop cafe. With a array of fresh pies flans and salads. Every thing is fresh. We ended up having chicken pie and salad and a flan and salad. Along with coffee and tea. All coming to a cost of £7 a head.The staff are friendly and professional. Clearing the table promptly on completion of eating our lunch . Leaving us time to enjoy our drinks.Well worth a visit.

I went for a breakfast - good food, great customer service and lovely decor. There was just few customers in which I also liked (hate crowded places).

Ate here twice, the first time we were only the 2nd customers in there so the food was ok. Nothing to write home about but the atmosphere and surroundings are quite pleasant. 2nd time we had the same food (a fry) but there were 4/5 people in the café. The kitchen obviously rushed our food as everything was barely cooked and lukewarm/going cold very quickly. Not sure about anyone else but cold mushrooms, beans and cold barely browned white toast are not so appetizing. I vote with my feet so won't be going back. But I imagine if all you want is a coffee and quiet place to browse the papers or your phone it's a nice enough spot.

I have visited the Scullery various times over the last few months. It is a nice relaxing place to go if you appreciate great coffee and nice local fresh food. I would highly recommend it to everyone visiting the town. I hope to be back very soon for a nice coffee and to enjoy a nice chicken salad in the modern cosy surroundings!
