The Sandmartin in Thurrock

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. When we booked we said we like our prosecco extra cold , so when arrived we found it had been specially chilled and on ice. We like tapas, so the small plate menu was perfect. The food was excellent and the staff friendly ,especially Connor, who went out of his way to make our night out very special. Their Friday night bottle of prosecco deal for £9.99 is excellent.

Ah what a lovely and friendly pub! All the staff were so lovely and friendly and made me feel welcome. Especially Lee. Me and my boyfriend Dan ate dinner here also i had the fish & chips and dan had the chicken burger! Was so lovely. Has a lovely pub garden to and suitable for all ages! With loads of parking available to out front.

My dog got to have their own roast. Such a lovely pub with a really friendly team. Big gin selection which kept my partner happy

Spent a lovely afternoon here. Such a relaxed friendly atmosphere, the staff are more than helpful and welcoming. We had the roast which was lovely, good portion size too. Lovw that we are local so will be popping in often.

The Sunday roast was delicious. I opted for the duo of Turkey and Beef. It arrived quickly and was well presented and hot. I will return.

There aren’t many places we can go now we have a pup and we were celebrating a birthday. So we went for lunch. It was busy but the staff were very friendly and we got served super quick! My husband is vegan and there was quite a bit of choice (surprisingly) so he had no chicken katsu, I had the chicken pie(which was delicious) kids had burgers. Everyone was pleased which was a first😂😂😂😂😂 A few people had dogs which was nice for mine too! The food was great, good value and the atmosphere was lovely too.We will be back! BTW my daughter said the halloumi fries were best she had!
