I am a serving member of the Armed Forces and had just completed a Charity March which spanned from Brighton to the commonwealth memorial across from The Royal Air Force Club. I needed to use the toilets and decided to approach the reception staff to use the facilities, due to there being no toilets at the memorial. I was turned away because I wasn’t a member of the Club. I think this is appalling after serving 19 yrs in the Military and being on numerous operational tours in defence of the country that I had to beg to use toilets and turned away all because I was not a member. It’s not like I was trying to get a free meal or a free nights stay, all I simply wanted was to use the toilets after walking from Brighton to London for the past 4 days. Absolutely disgusted 😡

Within the walls, just off a bustling London street is the calm, ordered and beautifully decorated Royal Air Force Club. I had dinner, it was excellent, the recommendation of wine was faultless. A thoroughly nice place to be.

Your home away from home is the motto for club members. Tradition and dress code are very important. London club that makes you feel good.

Lovely food ,friendly staff and top class location .Home away from home. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Choice of location to eat in club,all have lovely food . Approximate distances to places of interest . 300 meters to Buckingham Palace . 1 km to Bond st and Regent st for high street shopping .

Just a beautiful historical place. The club has been kept modern without loosing its charm and sense of history. The gym and fitness centre are both excellent and well equipped. The various social areas provide a variety of comfortable and stylish places to relax. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Two course lunch. No starter. Main course. Cold plates. Cold meal. Roast chicken well cooked but Cold. Roast potatoes, three halves of new potatoes,about 3cm across,Cold. Veg, a fork full of shredded kale with undercooked beans. Bread sauce, stuffing, caramelised onion all Cold. I am not a big eater but the whole portion wouldn't have satisfied small child. Dessert. Saltana and pear sponge with caramel sauce and ice cream.ok tasty. For a reportedly high class dining experience. Not a nice time I.may have been a guest at this luncheon but was not impressed. The head chef needs to attend to his underlings. The remainder of our day was very pleasant held in the lounge. Very well attended by excellent staff.

The Running Horse Tavern is an "old-timey" English pub which has been modernised. The food is dually of a high standard the only thing missing is soft drinks on Tap.

Excellent service from the staff at the front desk. The rooms are beautifully clean and have everything you could possibly need. I had a lovely view of the park from my room.

Remarkable place filled with rich history.

Everything is well presented and beautiful. I especially love the stained glasses. lunch and afternoon tea were delicious. Wonderful experience!

My employer supports a military focused charity. Visited this venue for a lunch arranged by the charity. Lovely afternoon. Started with drinks in the bar and the lunch in a private dining room. Very nice food, great service. Excellent venue.

The best Club in London. Simply exquisite.

I had an unfortunate experience working with the manager here called Mohd. recently. Throughout the entire shift he displayed extreme unprofessionalism and an alarming level of anger towards both myself and the agency employees. Strongly advise anyone considering working with this individual to reconsider.

Parents were both members. The food is very good. Have never stayed but I believe the accommodation is high quality.

Hosted to friends for lunch in the Club dining room on 18 October. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The friendly team of staff both in the dining room and in the club as a whole cannot be faulted. So professional and all clearly love what they do. My guests so enjoyed their time and were also deeply impressed with what this excellent club has to offer.

We arranged a family lunch to celebrate our recent Civil Partnership and the Royal Air Force club did us proud from making the arrangements and the lunch itself nothing was a trouble, along with 19 guest the ambience of the venue the food and the staff was 5 star. The staff throughout the club provide an excellent service from the admin team, reception and events, after the lunch we retired to the Running Horse bar in the lower ground floor again the atmosphere and staff offer a warm welcome.

Came two Saturday’s ago as a guest and was served by the nicest server, I believe his name is Daniel? Super polite and caring. We briefly spoke about Egypt as I had just been there on a trip and he is Egyptian. Made the experience 10 X better

Wow. What a great venue. Supper was excellent and price to match. Service was the best.

Private club for RAF officers but open for functions to non members. Cowdray Room serves to die for afternoon teas, restaurant provides a standard range of well cooked food (which is what you want in a Club, go outside to other eateries for an experience) both of which are formal spaces while downstairs is the Running Horse Pub which is informal and provides decent meals like curries, steak and chips, pies and salads. New Business Suite provides office facilities, the Library a quiet place to read, Fitness Centre somewhere to unwind and numerous function rooms can provide formal dinners for 150 down to rooms for informal family parties for 6. Close to Green Park Tube Station, short taxi ride or 38 bus from Victoria Station. Perfect

A lovely facility sadly let down by the attitude of the staff, who have been unaccommodating and inflexible across a number of recent visits. Somewhat stuck in the past. My advice - use the Victory Services Club instead.

Love the RAF. The bar on the first floor is much smarter than it was a decade ago. Feels less like an airport lounge. And the food in the restaurant is better, too.

Excellent service, attention to detail and very welcoming. Right in the heart of London and easily accessible by all major links. This is somewhere we will be coming back to a lot more regularly and I’ve no idea why we didn’t years ago!!

It was a remarkable experience to enter this spotlessly clean building with its rich display of the heritage of the RAF. As it happens, my father was an officer in the RAF in World War 2 so it felt like an ancestral homecoming.

Oh my word! Stunning! A delightful experience from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. The staff are so kind, attentive and welcoming. The building is just incredible with so much to see. This is my second visit and I'm enjoying finding other interesting things around that I didn't spot last time. The restaurant food is delicious for both breakfast and dinner and the Cowdray Lounge is perfect for Afternoon Tea or even just some tea and cake. I absolutely love it here.
