Fantastic find, we ended up in Bridlington by chance and wanted something to eat, but didn’t want to go to a big chain, waked along the street to see this cafe open, so chanced it, a bit worried at first as not another soul in there. So glad we did, very friendly staff amazing coffee, food came freshly cooked, the all day breakfast was huge and the omelette was lovely, the only thing if I had to be picky was neither of the servers asked if we wanted any sauces to go our food, but I suspect they were fairly new as they both seemed a bit shy. I will definitely return and recommend it to my friends.

Ah this was a lovely little find … a dog friendly (very very very friendly) cafe that has a full gluten free offering! My friend and I were on holiday and we enjoyed a fabulous brunch. The couple that own it have a coeliac child so totally understand gluten free and cross contamination. Everything is cooked to order. Our drinks took a little while to come but hey that so didn’t matter. It was such personal service. Highly recommended! ⭐️ We liked it so much we told people in the street they should go there as we left!!!

Absolute gem of a find. Little cafe on a side road just off main strip for amusements. Family of four called in for a late breakfast. We sat outside at the rear of the cafe. I had the small breakfast and wasn't disappointed, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, fried bread, hash brown, tomatoes, beans, fried egg, mushrooms and toast. Cooked to perfection and filled me up for the day. The owners were a lovely friendly couple and service was excellent. Bonus they had a toilet which was clean and well kept. There was a resident seagull which just sits and watches you eat, once you get up to leave he dives down for any leftovers you might leave.

Quirky little cafe (not a cat cafe!) with helpful staff and delicious full vegetarian and vegan breakfast. Good coffee and can cater to gluten free (although we needed to remind them about the coffee and GF toast). Tucked behind the main promenade, so felt quieter, but still very popular. Dog friendly and does takeaways.

Popped in here on a day trip to Bridlington, it's near the sea front just over from the new observation wheel being built. It was a sunny day so we sat in the garden at the back. I noticed another couple had come in with dogs and water was brought for the dogs without being requested, so those looking for a doggy friendly place to eat clearly have one here.We started off with a tea and a coffee. The tea was in a pot that gave three cups, and the coffee was in a large china mug. Both were good. This was a brunch and my partner ordered the fishcake while I had the "posh sausage sandwich". This comprised chipolata sausages in a crusty roll and smothered in herby mushrooms, and was delicious. The plate also contained a substantial salad and pots on the side containing and onion marmalade, tomato relish, and what looked like French mustard, although I didn't try it.My partner's fishcake was substantial and also with a salad, which she also said was very good.I was then tempted into a lemon meringue pie, which had a gluten free pastry and was very nice. First time I've tried gluten free pastry and was pleasantly surprised. It should be noted that there is ample provision for gluten free and vegan diets at this cafe. This cafe gives very good value for money.

I made my second visit ( first for my wife) here on Thursday morning, last week. The lady hadn't quite opened up but she happily let us in and dried off a table in the sunny garden so we could enjoy the sunshine whilst having a pot of tea and toasted gf tea cakes. My wife adored the attention to detail and all the little touches, so much so we went back there for lunch after a good walk on the beach. It had been raining so we sat inside and although it was quite busy we got our drinks quickly with only a short wait for food. I tried the Parmesan egg in the hole that the owner recommended and I was not disappointed, it was delicious! My wife had melted cheese crumpets topped with fresh asparagus and poached eggs and said it was spot on. The final major plus point is that our little dog was made welcome too. Must be nearly a year since our first visit but I guarantee it will probably be less than a fortnight til the next.

I don't usually give negative reviews, but I felt that in this case, people should be warned. If you have epilepsy, are prone to migraines or anxiety attacks, or just have a sense of aesthetics then it would not be wise to visit this place. On the ceiling is a plastic, brightly-coloured chandelier with colour-changing bulbs. Silver glittery heart-shaped decorations hang from said chandelier. Different colour-changing bulbs are in the light fittings on the walls. Twinkling fairy lights are in the window. More fairy lights are on a silver plastic tree. Violent floral tablecloths; different violent florals on the wallpaper; criss-crossing the ceiling, with different colours lighting it up as if it were being machine-gunned, bunting, of yet more clashing florals. All this in a room the size of a medium-small lounge. The music was an electro-violin quartet that kept modulatng, modulating, modulating..I'd love to tell you what the food was like but it never arrived."The girl is in the village so I'm on my own," explained the nice semi-hysterical woman in charge. We fled after about twenty minutes. During that time, though many tables were occupied, one couple had been served with coffee. No one else got anything. A baby wept piteously, continuously, and I didn't blame it.My husband, after we left: My eyes hurt, as if they've had a workout.Me: I feel as if I've escaped from something.

Obviously a mecca for coeliacs from miles around. Savouries were delicious with well cooked and nutritious fare. However I was a little disappointed with their cakes which tasted dry (perhaps a little old) and far too sweet for me.Would have been fabulous at the more genteel end of Bridlington, but right next to the amusements was rather incongruous.

Saw good reviews for this cafe so gave it a try today. Well worth the effort. My wife had gluten free pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and with a stack of five(!) pancakes couldn't even finish them. I had the herby mushrooms on crusty rolls which was excellent. Dog friendly too, with the waitress bringing a bowl of water for him without even having to ask.

Myself and my family visited the Wish Cat Cafe on Saturday following a quick search on the net for gluten free eateries in Bridlington. As a coeliac I was amazed and delighted by the response to "can you cater for coeliacs?", which was "Yes, everything can be modified!" WOW! How often does that happen? Anyway, the 4 adults all had the broccoli and stilton soup, served with a warm roll (mine GF obvs!) and it was the best broccoli and stilton soup I have ever had, fresh and so tastey! My 6yr old daughter had a ham sandwich which was fresh and delicious too. Unfortunately due to time constraints we weren't able to partake in any cakes. But we will be back!I must also mention that the wish cat tree is wonderful, my little girl wished for a world made of sweets!! Oh to be 6 again!Thank you to all the staff at Wish Cat Cafe - keep up the good work.
