We come here often, food has never been anything but perfect and the staff are always extremely welcoming. Can’t wait to come back soon in the new year. Amazing quality steaks cooked to perfection every time!

After a gap of almost 2 years we were able to get back to visit The Ranch. Again we were not disappointed, the full rack of ribs were absolutely awesome, and I’ve seen a few complaints about the fries!! Personally I had just the right amount and left feeling perfectly sated. If you want masses of cheap crappy food, go to a harvester or cafe!!! But if you want great tasting, succulent mouth-watering steaks or ribs, with pleasant attentive but not over pushy service then go to THE RANCH!!!

Well folks, we had a disappointing meal last night... we've been looking forward to eating at your place for ages, it was recomended.... My ribs were tasty but all I got with them was a small portion of cheap frozen fries, maybe a cup full ... £17.50...! My wife and brother in law had the surf n turf, a 7oz fillet with 3 prawns and the same cup of frozen fries and a hole grilled tomato £32...plus a side portion of frozen onion rings. £3.50 ..... What a rip off.... We did tell the waitress and you gave us 10% off....! Even our local pub the Victoria inn in Four Lanes cook real chips and also real homemade onion rings... The service was ok tho......Feeling very disappointed and skint........

Excellent steaks superbly char-grilled, wonderful sides too. Great work Luke and team! Note for some reason they don't accept tips on credit card, so need to take cash for tips.

Restaurant is beautifully presented and Dan was a great waiter throughout the night. The steak was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The ribs and wings were delicious too. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful restaurant really friendly staff. My wife and I had a superb meal . She had a steak which was cooked to perfection and I had ribs and chicken wings absolutely delicious. Would thoroughly recommend but please book there were a number of people turned away whilst we were there. I would really regret you missing out on a wonderful meal here.

The waiter was very friendly & knowledgeable. I had chicken satays with peanut sauce from the specials board to start which is one of my favourites and it was as good as I have ever eaten anywhere. The wife started with breaded Brie which she said was the best she had eaten in a long time BUT she had the ribs for main course and this was the best she has ever eaten anywhere. I had the massive beef & chicken which was great. All in all a great experience and we left hardly able to move as we were so full.

Friday 1 oct 2021 this is our 4 th visit wouldnt do Cornwall without the ranch lovely smoked mackeral startergarlic ciabatta is dripping steak was really good very tender loved it desert was Roskilly ice cream am now a big fan so glad yu made it through the hard times

We meant to book somewhere else but ended up at The Ranch - so glad. The food was excellent - best steak eaten in a very long time and the Fried Chicken burgers were delicious. Service was top notch too. Will definitely be back.

Nice meal and friendly staff.we both had steak, and shared a bottle of red wine. Staff wore face masks and the restaurant was clean.

Had a wonderful meal here with my family, food was incredible and I would definitely recommend a visit. Staff were friendly and wore face masks plus there's plenty of covid precautions being taken.

We visited this evening. We both chose a rib eye steak and we both thoroughly enjoyed them. Steaks out can often be tasteless but these were really tasty. The staff were warm and friendly. We'd love to return one day!

We were on holiday in the area and found the restaurant online. It unfortunately showed as booked but as advised on their website we called on the chance we could get a table and were very pleased that they were able to fit us in! On arrival, we were pleasantly greeted and found the restaurant itself really nicely decorated with a great atmosphere. The service was great, the food was amazing and the prices are really reasonable given the quality of the meat and ingredients. Would wholeheartedly recommend and go back if we were ever in the area again.

Cant promote this place enough. Selected sourced steaks from great suppliers. Great selection of cuts of steak, service is great and more than happy to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome.

Waited to get in here…which most probably already prepared us for what was to come! Staff an absolute joy to be served by. Filet steak was on par with some of the best steak places we’ve eaten at in the US. Drinks, good beer and wine selection. Starters were enough and not too much to ruin our appetite. We were full and so happy with our meal but didn’t want to miss the opportunity to taste desert so ordered sticky toffee to share…topped of a fantastic meal…the best we had for the whole of our stay…plus great background music too. Thank you, we will be back even just to find here x

Absolutely fantastic steak! We had the ribeye and it was cooked beautifully - pink in the middle, fat rendered and a nice char on the edges. Exactly what I was hoping it would be! I would have liked to have had the choice of proper chips not fries - but that's just my preference.The peppercorn sauce was to die for! I would have drank it with a straw if it wasn't totally socially unacceptable- it was so delicious!! Honestly think it was the best peppercorn sauce I have ever had.The service was great and I would definitely recommend booking beforehand to avoid disappointment.

Initially booked for a Sunday Roast however, they take this off menu in the height of summer. We did however, enjoy great steaks - rib eye, sirloin and t-bone all of which you order by weight. Cooked to perfection and some incredible tasting sides like coleslaw, garlic mushrooms and onion rings. If you love steak you’ll love this.

My husband's steak was tender and cooked as requested. The chicken had run out so there was less choice for me. Friendly staff.

Visited twice in a week, best ribs I have ever tasted anywhere. Steaks were perfect also along with great sides. Couldnt fault this place, highly recommended.

Fantastic service, excellent food, lovely safe setting. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to all. Super impressed with the dessert menu too, all but one were GF.

We have just been for lunch and the food was beautifully fresh & tasty, the staff are doing an amazing job. We had a lovely family meal out and we always recommend this restaurant to anyone that asks about nice places to eat. We can’t wait to come again

RidiculousSaid they had a table for 5 and expected us to sit a bench seat for 4. Wouldn't allow us a 5th seat which was utterly ridiculous.Very poor!

The staff were very friendly and although we had a bit of a wait for the food, it was excellent and plentiful. I wold recommend the Ranch for a lunch .

So... we were really disappointed with this place. Being a steak house you would expect it to be pretty slick. I ordered the ribeye and partner the sirloin. Although mine was nice I'd asked for medium rare and it was medium. My partners was cooked great. I had a blue cheese sauce and it just did not taste like cheese. We waited for about an hour for 2 steaks and a childs burger, even though when we arrived there was about 3 tables. My daughters burger was burnt. I would of happily told the staff, however once our food was down I didn't see them again. By the time we'd finished my daughter hungry and bored wanted out. My partner waited for the bill which was about another 20 minutes

Having loved the Shack and the Shed we were a little disappointed by the Ranch. Arrived to find most of the starters weren’t available and when the mains arrived the steaks, although well cooked, were tiny with one tomato on the side and skinny fries which were ok. Didn’t seem to be any option to swap them out for an alternative. The burger was shockingly bad and very unappetising. Looked like it was from a bad diner. On the plus side the ribs and wings were tasty and although we had to wait a long time for food the servers were polite. We didn’t bother staying for dessert and sadly I don’t think we’ll be back.

Went to The Ranch yesterday for a family meal. We had booked a table for 6pm as we have 2 children. When the waitress came to take our drinks order my husband commented that we’re ready to order. The waitress in a belittling manner stated … she will not take the order now as the kitchen cannot manage all the food orders at the same time. We have placed orders for Childrens meals with drinks orders all over the world … before Covid, during Covid and post Covid restrictions. It is an universally known fact that never needs to be called out that children get hungry hence a 6pm reservation. I was flabbergasted at the way the waitress spoke to us, my husband suggested we walk out and find somewhere else to eat (Kona a restaurant a stones throw away have accommodated us on several occasions this week). When we explained to the waitress that the reason we booked the table for 6pm was that the kids need to eat earlier, she really couldn’t care less. I asked how long the food takes to come once the order was placed and she stated 15 mins. The food didn’t arrive in 15mins and the attitude that was served up with it was a complete slap in the face. I’ve had much better T-bone steaks at plenty of other restaurants our slice of sticky toffee pudding was bigger than the steak!!!Safe to say we will never return to The Ranch, never recommend it and are back at Kona tonight where you get service with a smile, staff that can’t do enough for you and guess what … you can place an order for the kids meals with your drinks!

Lovely food and great service at The Ranch, Falmouth. Staff very friendly and brilliant. Very disappointed that the business does not allow tips for staff to be added on card. Management need to address this urgently. Several customers tried to do this whilst we were there and all felt the same. It’s a shame on the business as they should allow staff to be thanked easily.

A very friendly and great little restaurant! Great choices on the menu at reasonable prices! The waiter was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Would definitely visit again when we are in the Falmouth area again!

Fantastic customer service, accommodating in changes to our booking due to traffic. Steak was amazing. The blue cheese and port sauce is to die for. We will be back.

We had a lovely Sunday roast on the very first day that The Ranch offered this again to guests. It was our first time visiting this restaurant. The roast we chose was beef which was accompanied with potatoes, carrot and swede, Yorkshire pudding, red cabbage, cheesy broccoli and cauliflower. The beef was like butter and melted in your mouth. Yum! We enjoyed this meal so much that we returned again and dined on rump steak. Perfectly cooked and served with skin on fries, roasted tomato and our chosen sauce was blue cheese and port. The atmosphere is very charming. They have set the decor to be akin to an American southwest ranch/saloon. In the background, country music is played. Not really my cup of tea, but, certainly adds to ambience.

Called for a drink but was snootily told “to go next door for that”, even though all the outside tables were free! This is the only place we’ve visited where the staff haven’t tried to accommodate us wether for food or drinks- had a reservation for food there later in the week but I’ve now cancelled!

Had a most wonderful meal here with my wife and 2 sons on a cool Saturday evening during our recent 4 night trip to Flushing/Falmouth, we managed to book an outside table, we had our small dog with us too.We all had starters which were spot-on and they had our favourite beer (Moretti) on tap too which was a massive bonus. Myself and 2 sons each went for the special 14oz Ribeye meals, all agreed that it was the best steak we had eaten in a long long time. The staff were so friendly and helpful, I cannot recommend this place enough, if we return for a stay in Falmouth this will most definitely be the first restaurant I will try and book in advance

Visited for Sunday lunch, managed to book the day before as lots of places were fully booked. The lunch was probably one of the best roast beef dinners I have had, I couldn’t fault it in any way. Roast beef, roast potatoes, greens, mashed swede, red cabbage, Yorkshire pudding all cooked perfectly. The restaurant felt very COVID safe, tables very well spaced and lots of hand sanitising by the waiting staff.

We visited for a late lunch having had a brilliant time for dinner on a previous visit to Falmouth. It was disappointing that they had no ribs which seemed usual for a grill place. Had a couple of burgers- one with steak and chicken- which were delicious. Also had the wings which had a lovely bbq sauce although were neither fried nor plain so somewhere in between. The onion rings as a side were lovely. The waiter got us cocktails from next door which were very well made. Friendly staff and so it was disappointing that gratuities couldn’t be paid for with a card alongside the bill given the move towards contactless.

We visited for lunch today, the staff where very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu and the food was absolutely incredible. It was hard to decide what to have from such a delicious sounding menu. Would highly recommend and would definitely return. The covid processes where clear and you felt safe at all times.

The young staff were polite, attentive and didn't hover or wait until you have your mouth full before asking how the food is. So I can't fault the service.Covid precautions seem well thought out without being oppressive and as the venue is laid out in booths it was easy to hold a conversation without the overwhelming waves of chatter experienced in some venues. Food was served without a noticeable wait, portion sizes were generous. We had the Sunday roast, the Yorkshire pudding was high and crispy as it should be, roast potatoes were crispy and fluffy to the centre and the vegetable were all cooked correctly. I had beef which was cooked well, my dining partner opted for the roast pork which came with a piece of perfectly crunch crackling and cleared plates were proof enough of no complaints. The puddings were nice although a hot chocolate fudge Sunday bowl was an over indulgence on my part and it saw me somewhat defeated against the ropes albeit with a satisfied glow.

The steaks are top quality and char-grilled to perfection but it's actually the accompaniments that make this my favourite steak restaurant anywhere. The fries, mushrooms, creamy cole slaw, salad, roast tomatoes, all superb. Add to that great service from Luke and his team and it's a fantastic combination!

We came here as a family of four on Monday 1st Nov. Most of us had steaks and they were fantastic! The food was amazing and the service was great:) would highly recommend!

Everything was delicious- excellent steak (really tasty and tender) with a really nice blue cheese and port sauce. Very good mackerel pate. A friendly atmosphere and good service in a cosy setting. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Visited on our last night in Falmouth and it was nothing short of AMAZING! It was the best steak we’ve had in years - we struggled to think of a better steak we’d had. Lovely little place, great decor and atmosphere and friendly staff! Would 100% recommend!

This was a last minute booking and was one of the only places that a table was available. I’m not usually a fan of steak or burgers but this place absolutely delivers. 3 out of 4 of us had the steak burger and none of us were disappointed, all saying that it was the best burger we had ever eaten. our friend had a steak which was cooked to perfection and disappeared in record time. This is very rare as this person is a very fussy eater. The service was excellent and the fortified wine offered at the end of the meal was a nice touch. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic filet stake, one rare and one medium rare. Both cooked beautifully with mountains of chips! Ribs also spot on.

Had a great meal here last night for our anniversary. As always, the steak was cooked to perfection (we had the ribeye) and the staff were very kind to give us a glass of fizz on arrival and wish us a happy anniversary. Lovely little detail. Great food, great service.

Last night we visited the ranch unfortunately we haven’t booked a table and they were very busy booked up and now we know why. We had a quick drink outside and then were squeezed in on a cancellation table for the evening. This restaurant is owned by the same people as the next two restaurants along. Best book in advance for this place. Staff super friendly and welcoming. We had generous portions a mackerel pate to share. We then had a beef burger and veggie burger (I don’t usually eat beef but had to have this- was so well cooked and delicious. Pudding was again a huge portion and wine was great. I would recommend this place for your first night in Falmouth after a long drive- east to find and very easy evening. Nothing bad to say about this place!

Booked this restaurant during the half price Boris deal. A great steakhouse for sure because everything was perfect. Service and half price. What is there to dislike? I recommend this restaurant.

Booked for night out with friends , the staff were friendly and well organised and full aware of all covid protective practice.The food was excellent we all had different starters and mains , the steak was the best tasting I’ve had for a long time .

Dined here with my wife having dropped our daughter to the Uni. Ordered ribs and mackerel pate to start both very nice. For mains we ordered a 14 oz and 12 oz rib eye. Restaurant got order wrong and came with 12 oz rib eye and 16 oz T Bone. Rather than create a fuss we took the order as was and Ranch only charged the lower price for the rib eye which was fair. Steaks were both excellent. 2 glasses of wine and one beer, with tip £108. Great!

We booked our table back in July as soon as we heard that the roasts were coming back! As usual, the food was incredible and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The waiter recognised us and stopped for a chat which was lovely. The COVID procedures were great and made us feel very relaxed, while maintaining a great experience. Can’t wait to return again soon!

Lovely evening on one of our rare times out lately! First class food and brilliant service by Luke and Megan. I think that the owners of these three restaurants have got things right with their friendly staff and nice extra little touches.

The Ranch is a smaller restaurant however with the current layout inside (perspex screens etc) social distancing isn't a problem at all and the staff had a good grip on it, also plenty of outside seating.Onto the most important thing, the food. Which I have to say was the best steak meal I've had for a long time. The T-Bone of the 'Butchers Block' which is their daily cuts of meat that could change depending on what their butcher has for them, was worth every penny and cooked to perfection. All others in our group said their steaks off the menu such as Rumps and Ribeyes were also delicious, and reasonably priced. No pictures unfortunately, as we were too quick to get started! It seemed quite busy with the inside as full as it could have been and the outside also which should say it all. However the staff were still very friendly and helpful, we felt very well looked after. Dont miss out! Thanks to The Ranch Team for a great evening meal, we are all looking forward to our next visit!

Good service, excellent steaks and a great wine list. Our friends had the fillet steak, my wife had the butterflied chicken breast and I had the rump. All very good. The trio of sorbets was an excellent dessert.

Incredibly expensive, steak chips and a large tasteless tomato! That’s your meal? Bottle of coke £3 per bottle.... not much atmosphere, just didnt feel special considering for four of us the bill was almost £160!

Visited with my sister this week after a long and eventful day at Tintagel Castle. Had crispy buffalo wings, full rack ribs and rump steak surf and turf. All excellent and we were both stuffed. Portions were great too. Our waiter was friendly and the restaurant complied with social distancing rules, the waiter wore a mask and gloves.Would definitely eat here again.

The Ranch is the place we eat whenever we are in Falmouth as the food is amazing. We have never had any problems eating here.We visited today and my steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it and the Cracked Black Pepper Sauce was as always amazing - if you like peppercorn sauce you've got to try this.My partner had The Ranch chargrilled prime steak burger which he said was good and our son had the Slow braised pork full rack of ribs with bbq sauce which he thoroughly enjoyed.The staff were polite and friendly.They have added extra divides in between tables - love the wooden one as makes it more private.We will be back again hopefully soon.Keep doing what you are doing as we love it here

Our family bubble of six visited for a meal on the last night of a short trip to Cornwall. Chosen on reputation - but a reputation that was deserved. The food was fantastic. We have some fussy non red meat eaters in our family s9 a little nervous - unfounded as everyone left full and happy. Steaks cooked to perfection and can also recommend the buffalo chicken wings. Service, although busy, was great. A good house red wine and - for. Outstanding food and service - reasonably priced. Our first visit to Cornwall and we’ll be back - The Ranch will be the first restaurant we’ll book on our return!

Outstanding. Best restaurant in Falmouth for us. In fact, that good we rebooked after the first visit, and our second visit did not disappoint. Both my partner and I had Fillet Steaks....amazing. Our 7 year old was also catered for with a great kids menu. Have to give a shout out to the staff too, who were also faultless. If/when we return to Falmouth, we’ll definitely revisit. A word of advise......book in advance. We did but, saw numerous people being turned away due to being full. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Ate here whilst celebrating a friends 21st birthday. The steak and wine quality here was very good, with a good selection of both available form the relatively extensive food and drink menus. My only concern and hence the slight mark deduction is the cost. For a chain business, the price for extras and the jump in price between rump and sirloin was quite high and not easily justified for the average diner. In addition, even though the 21st birthday was mentioned when booking, this was not actioned upon in the restaurant with even just a verbal happy birthday. Overall, a good experience although I won't be rushing back.

Excellent food and service, good range of menu choices and didn’t mind making some adjustments when we asked. Highly recommend.

We’ve dined at the Ranch on numerous occasions and never fails to disappoint. Family down for a break and we always take them here as we know we will always get great service and a brilliant dining experience. We will be back again!

Dropped by here with my wife for lunch today (Sunday). I had the 7oz fillet - medium rare - with skin on fries and peppercorn sauce.The sauce was lovely and thick and full of flavour. The steak was perfectly cooked and absolutely smashed the one I had last night at a 4* Hotel. Staff very friendly and attentive. However for me the clincher was Birra Moretti on tap My wife had chicken satay skewers with side salad which she thoroughly enjoyed.We are in Falmouth for the weekend and the next time we come back will stop by to indulge again.Top Marks!

My partner and I had the most delicious evening meal here whilst visiting Falmouth. Booking well in advance is essential at the moment and it’s understandable based on our experience. All dishes were so tasty; satay chicken skewers, southern fried chicken burger with a side of mac and cheese, falafel and halloumi burger salad and hot fudge chocolate bowl. The flavours were sensational and our server Maia was great - attentive, efficient and friendly.

Looking at the steaks, I wish I had ordered one. I ordered the chicken wings which were covered in Ranch sauce, ok if you like the ranch sauce. After a couple of the wings, it's not tasty any more. Side salad v basic. Wine slightly overpriced for what is was. Wouldn't visit unless eat out to help as out as would be too expensive.

6 of us dined here last night and the entire meal was perfect! The filet steak was insane, and cooked to perfection... and the blue cheese and port sauce was amazing! Everybody loved their meals (chicken burger, ribs, wings and ribeyes) and the waitress was lovely and attentive. Booking is essential, especially during the EOTHO scheme.

The steak itself was amazing, perfect cooking, however the starter and the fries which came with the steak were burned - the starter was inedible. I mentioned it and it was not taken off the bill- was quite surprised about it as i could not eat it.Will be back but just for the perfect steak!

Whilst on holiday in Mevagissey we wanted a great steak. It was was worth the hours drive. Lovely location on the harbour and great Covid safe measures. The steaks were amazing and great value. Service was amazing! Make sure you book as very busy.

Like Rick Stein's restaurant, the Ranch is in a sterile location in Falmouth and I was very tempted to change reservation when we arrived in Falmouth for the week and found other better options.But we stayed with it and I was glad that we did. It's not cheap. But whilst it is overpriced, it's in line with other restaurants in the area.The filet steak was excellent and the burger was good. The buffalo wings were not buffalo wings - as anyone who eats in the US would know - they were just deep fried chicken wings covered in bbq sauce.

Amazing steak - we had a range of steaks/burgers in our party and they were all excellent. The bread selection for starter was disappointing, but on the whole a great experience.

We were lucky to get in at 6:15pm for high season on a Saturday, booking essential & you won’t be disappointed. Laury our waiter was polite & attentive, we usually have peppercorn sauce, Laury recommended the blue cheese & port sauce which was a game changer...lovely! Chateaubriand medium rare was delicious! It came with roasted whole tomato each, garlic mushrooms & chips. We would 100% come here again when next in Falmouth.

Fortunately we'd booked as we saw many turned away at the door. The rest of the family had steaks and loved them; 2 trumps and a T-bone. I had the half rack and chicken wings, which were also good - the ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. In terms of lockdown and social distancing thoughts, there are booths that you might want to try to target. There is a car park outside the Event Square, but we parked at the other end of town in the Quarry Car Park so that we could wander through the town beforehand and along the quay. Car parking there is free after 5pm.

Falmouth is not a late night destination and we had been turned away from a number of restaurants having missed last orders in the kitchen at 9pm before knocking on the door of The Ranch. We had absolutely superb burgers with really well flavoured coleslaw and trimmings and one of the best falafel burgers I have ever eaten, this was all served by a lovely team. Definitely worth a visit especially if you like meat.

After eating in its neighbour The Shed and being impressed we booked into The Ranch - worth booking during this Covid situation - the staff were very helpful and friendly and we both had a great steak, they handled the new restrictions very well and this didn't spoil our evening in any way. A nice bottle of wine, two steaks and starters for under £70 we thought was good value.

Must say The Ranch never seems to disappoint if you fancy a steak. Whilst in Falmouth we always make sure we have an evening here and luckily the manager called us to say he had had a cancellation which was great. My husband had a rib eye steak and I had a burger and a couple of sides to share. Everything, and I mean everything was very very good. We will be back again.

Thr Ranch is one of three restaurants, situated in a lovely square opposite The Maritime Museum. The tables are extremely well arranged with spotless unobtrusive screening, well installed. We felt very cosy and safe and enjoyed our evening immensely. The staff were very friendly behind their masks which were very attractive if I do say so.All the time we were in the restaurant the staff kept busy ensuring everything was wiped down thoroughly which gave us confidence.We had a delicious mackerel starter, chicken and steak respectively and a beautiful wobbly pannacotta desert. We are going to the sister restaurant tonight, The Shed which manly serves fish. We expect the same level of service there.Prior booking is essential for all three restaurants.

Excellent food and good service. A good quality meal that is well worth the money. Would totally recommend this restaurant. Couldn’t do enough for you.

Friendly and welcoming restaurant. Food was beautifully presented and with wonderful flavour. However, only one vegetarian option and no vegan options which was a little disappointing. On the ranches website it says it offers many vegetarian options but sadly there was only one which made dining with my vegetarian friend very difficult. Would dine again but wouldn’t bring my vegetarian / vegan friend.

Went there staying close by, what taste had the 200g rump medium with pepper sauce .. what steak we will be bak and brill service under the circumstances 😀

What a great steak, best we have had, the meat here is just amazing. The ribs are equally as good. Recommend the Chateaubriand.

Me and the Mrs had our little trip to Falmouth booked for a few months before making the journey down here, the dates we were in Falmouth fell around a week or so after valentines day. We decided between ourselves that to celebrate valentines day, rather than do it on the day we'd wait till our little break away and have a belated valentines day celebration. One major talking point from when we were planning this day was where we would choose to go for our evening meal. After having the ranch recommended to us by someone who had been previously conbined with both of us being huge steak lovers we decided this was the perfect place. And it did not disappoint.. Our evening was perfect from start to finish, on arrival we were seated straight away and they brought a bowl of complimentary vegetable crisps over which was a lovely touch. Then we shared the warm ciabatta bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar dips for starters, which again was beautiful. Me being me, by this point I've already eyed up the dessert menu and they sounded fantastic!! Much to my disappointment, I ate too much for starters and main meal that I sadly had to miss out as I couldn't stomach another bite, which takes me on to our mains...Now being big steak fans going out for a steak we would always usually opt for a Fillet, however on the evening we attended they had a special on of a 20oz sharing rump which the waiter said had been a popular choice.. We opted for this choice and were a little bit sceptical to begin with with it being a rump, but I can now safely say its one of the best pieces of meat I've ever had. It was huge! But tender all the way through with not a single bit of fat on it. Absolutely perfect, and the buttered greens and blue cheese sauce I picked to have with it are a must, they were phenomenal.Finally, I just want to mention how good the service was we received and how welcome the restaurant staff made us feel. We were waited on by a lad called Luke and a young lady with blonde hair who's name I didn't manage to catch, between them their customer service was second to none and this was the final piece into what made our evening so special. 10/10 from us!

We love Falmouth, and are so glad that we discovered The Ranch on our first visit. It's not a question of if, but of how many times we go to The Ranch. Falmouth has a lot of great eateries, but when in the mood for a steak, I don't think any can out rustle The Ranch. My medium rare is always spot on. The peppercorn sauce is the best I have tasted anyway, in the world, and I've been around (a bit). Compact, cosy, casual atmosphere, the menu is short-and-to-the-point effective: if you want fish, go next door. But that's fine because what the Ranch does, it does very, very well.

Just had a lovely meal here, very attentive service with a friendly light touch, perfectly cooked steak and food in general. We’ll be back for sure!

Steak done properly! A small but beautifully designed restaurant, great menu, specials board, interesting wine list. I ordered medium Ribeye with garlic king prawns. Skin on skinny fries, roast tomato job done. Served quickly on a warm plate, super-sharp steak-knife, cold wine and really great service. Under £80 for 3 of us food and drink. Spot on. Nice people, great food. Good job Ranch!!

For the first time we’ve been out since getting married and having the little one, the ranch hit the spot in all aspects, location is beautiful, restaurant very nice and tidy, and the food was incredible, we went for one of the specials, on recommendation of our waiter, Luke. Needles to say the steak was cooked to perfection, sides complimented it and the sauces topped it off completely. And Luke’s service was incredible, couldn’t compliment the lad enough. Will definitely be returning and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

We had the ribs and wings which were nice but not outstanding. The crispy beef again nice but again not fabulous The chocolate orange cheesecake was however gorgeous and the coffee excellent The team and service was great

Read about 20 reviews (all very good) before I went with my son. Our experience was just as good as those reviews, fantastic tender steaks cooked by Ben and brilliant friendly service from Laurie and Ella. Here for another week so likely to go again. Many thanks.

Stayed in Falmouth for a couple of nights in October. Visited one evening during the week and it was busy so recommend booking. Luckily they managed to find us a table. Lovely food and good service. Worth a visit.

Took husband here for his 60 th birthday. He is very fussy with his food. Was gob smacked when he said the steak was the best he’d ever tasted in his life !

We was recommended the Ranch steakhouse by a family member and we can see why. Absolutely fantastic meal steaks were cooked to perfection. If anyone is stopping in Falmouth or just just visiting we highly recommend here.
