Really liked this little cafe sited almost in the centre of a boat yard. It is exceptionally dog friendly (which was useful as we were on a dog walk/explore) with water bowls everywhere outside and free dog biscuits inside. Coffee was great and really hot and the cakes delicious. The sausage rolls are a knife and fork meal on their own! I deducted a star only because choice was rather limited, but it's not a place you would go to especially for food anyway. The other star deducted only because there is no view. One has to walk on a little way to reach the harbour. Lots of dry docked boats to look at though.

The sausage roll and lentil slice were horrible … very dry and served on a clean plate with nothing else (unlike the sausage roll illustrated in your photos). They cost £5 each - amazing!

A regular for us. Has brilliant coffee and the cakes are great. I've not had lunch items though being gluten free. Very cool place, very popular so you sometimes have to queue but it's worth it. Nice people very dog friendly

By far the Best coffee we have had for some time, very nice bit of flapjack too.

The sausage and chutney chiabattas were really good, a shandy to cool down and a reasonable price, what more could you want!

What a treat, coming here! Truly delightful little spot with the best and I mean THE best lemon polenta cake ever. The ultimate carrot cake was nice but not my favourite. My Hazelnut iced latte was also great and service was lovely.

Found by accident while looking for somewhere to ride out to. Best accidental find I've had. Great coffee and a simple but excellent menu. I can highly recommend the homemade sausage roll. Delicious. Staff were really friendly and quick to prepare our food and drinks.

No table service, order at the counter but food would be served to your table. Good selection of panini/sandwich, milkshake, coffee and ice cream! Ideal lunch or coffee stop for people who are walking the coastal path from Chichester harbour to East Head.

Great staff, very friendly and accommodating. Good food - smoothie was excellent - and fast service. Super pleasant to sit outside in a quiet area. Only problem for the lovely team at the Cafe is the northshore nautical centre owner next door who shines his bad energy: doesn’t have most basic courtesy, simply rude first, and thinks he controls the land with his own rules (despite the signs) on who is allowed to get to the shore (he has a thing against cyclist clearly; I was the only one there so hardly a nuisance either!) Best left alone on his corner and never come back.

A lovely little cafe with plenty of outside seating with umbrellas to keep the sun off as well as inside seating. Find it via ship yard next to the carpark. We just had coffee so can't comment on the food but the service was fab.

Little gem 👌🏼- Always a must visit when in Itchenor watching the boats in and out, on the benches. Recommend the Sausage Roll as it's one of best I had 🤩 although the coffees are nice, as are the cakes on offer such the Millionaire shortcake! Deco pleasant as are the staff when we visit. Doggy friendly too.... 5/5

Dark & Sticky. Whilst the food and service are good, the atmosphere is a bit it dark inside and why are the tables so sticky !?

A great little cafe in Itchenor which is the perfect place to visit after a walk to the Witterings and back. It was really pleasant to sit outside and watch the world go by while enjoying a nice coffee. A wonderful holiday find!

Popped in for a quick lunchtime snack. Cosy inside and plenty of outside seating. Coffee was excellent as was the hot food I ordered. Would visit again if in the area again.

The ice cream is very good. Outside seating is good with a choice of sun or shade. Very dog friendly inside and out. They also sell doggie ice cream. We've missed it sometimes as it closes at 4pm.

Friendly for cyclists and walker's but dogs get the best reception

The highlight here was the chance to see these crafted metalworks at the workshop next door. The cafe is a simple space with very stripped down menu and a pretty austere welcome.

Over priced , very average food . I ordered a Czech style pilsner priced at £4.80 , I stupidly expected a pint but instead I got a plastic tumbler with a can of lager in it ... rip off ! Save your money a real pub is just up the road .

We were looking for a nice spot overlooking the harbour but this wasn’t it! It’s basically in the shipyard and any views of the harbour are blocked by the boats. The seating area is a depressing piece of bare concrete with no plants or anything to make it pleasant. Coffee was served in paper cups even when sitting on the premises.

Good coffee and food all served in disposable/recyclable material. No separate bins - all general rubbish

Lovely little cafe, lovely food organic,vegan and dairy free. The staff are very nice and friendly inside and outside seating area. Dogs are welcome so long as they are dry. Nice in the winter for a hot chocolate and equally as nice in the summer for a fruit smoothie made to order

Nice little cafe in the harbour. Does good selection of teas and coffees and cakes and the toasted paninis are popular with kids. Dog friendly place. Outdoor searching on several picnic benches and about 5 tables inside too.

We stop here on a regular basis ... usually making our way off the water for a reviving hot beverage on a rowing session Fabulous strong hot coffees . Recent bike ride with lunch stop it did not let us down . Warming home made soup and warm staff welcome . Thankyou

Warm friendly cafe was a welcome find on a wet day. Lovely coffee and a full range of alternative milk and a great range of hot snacks. Dog walkers were welcome.

Lovely setting and good coffee/cakes

Mixed feelings about this place. I didn't enjoy queuing outside for over 20 minutes to place my order. Although others have praised the Covid measures, I felt as though I was being treated like a child, with actual spots to stand on while queuing, notices everywhere, including 'If you're standing here, you're probably in the way'. Compulsory masks to place an order, even though the restriction was lifted 6 weeks ago. A dog, presumably living there, was wandering round the tables outside, no doubt looking for scraps. The food was nice, but £23 for a snack and drink for two parents and a toddler seemed excessive. On the whole, I wouldn't return, which is a shame because this is a lovely place for a café, and the staff seemed to be working hard.

I was working in the yard this establishment is based and did not have anything myself, I can say that it was very busy all day from mid morning to circa 1530hrs so it has to be good

We visited on Saturday, and highly recommend this cafe. Super location, great service, lovely food and coffee. Really appreciated all the COVID care measures this cafe has put in place. Looking forward to our next visit.

Basic menu but nice food. Probably overpriced for what you get but the views are good.

Didn't feel particularly welcome here, though been meaning to visit. It seemed a little tired. Brown parasols felt a bit dismal and faded menus. Were there any flowers.. There may be works going on around.. but it felt like it needed some fresh paint/colour. So many pubs and restaurants now look cheery.. this felt like it had batoned down the hatches and was cautiously peeping out.. 🤔. I had a coffee and cake.. which was ok.

Quiet and out of the way spot. Short walk to harbour and food was lovely. Our dog enjoyed his visit and his ice cream😍

Intend to insist on face masks after its no longer a legal requirement on 19th .Will not be going back. Places like this are the reason we are not getting back to normal.

The vegan ciabatta is so good and the coffee is great. I really recommend this lovely spot along the Chichester harbour

We really love the Quarterdeck Cafe. Worth a visit while exploring beautiful Chichester Harbour, or for a coffee after one of our taster sails! Good covid safe set up, tasty vegan snacks, which we like!

Limited menu and seating but OK for tea and cake

Lovely setting to have a light lunch by the boatyard Just wish there was a little more Gluten Free savoury options as I'm jealous of the what my husband had He is still raving over his 'devine' sausage roll! It did look (and apparently taste) gorgeous 😋

Utterly miserable staff. Drove from London. Thought we would try it. Only 3 parking spaces. All taken. One by a boat!! Had to pay for parking. No customers there so thought would be welcomed. Nope. Coffee ok. Toilets locked. Will not be going back. Wish we had gone to the pub nearby for coffee

Very expensive. £5 for a sausage ciabatta (4), (5) cappuccinos, total £38 ! Chelsea prices and customers, snotty note on windscreen at parking space! Customers cannot count to 3 max inside, 7 whilst queuing.

We saw the sign just after leaving the Itchenor ferry with our bikes, and - yes - you really do take that narrow path. The best pork sausage roll I have ever tasted, excellent coffee and tea, and very well organised covid-wise. Thank you!

Great cakes and plenty of choice of drinks

Went with a mate is great to grab a quick bite. Located close to the water it’s a really nice place to stop during a bike ride or walk as it’s located close to cycle and walking paths

Little hidden gem :) delicious food at fair prices with super friendly people!

On visiting a local site of interest, I asked a passer bye for the closest cafe. The Quarterdeck Cafe was suggested. What a find. Great service hot and tasty food. Very good coffee all at a reasonable price. Parking is available at a pay parking area within 100m some free parking also available. I didn't have a dog but had I had one I would have been delighted with the reception as towels are provided free of any charge for your wet and cold pet. My only concern was I wasn't sure whether the cafe was vegitarian provideding food for non vegies like me or not. This is a novel feeling but could be very forward looking.
