This is a really lovely place with wonderful staff. We chose it for a wake following a funeral and we were very well looked after. We were greeted on arrival with teas and coffees and then enjoyed a light buffet lunch which was delicious and beautifully presented.

I’ve been to The Pottery before and always had excellent food and service, today was no different but I was there for a memorial rather than dinner. The venue was perfect. It was intimate and they permitted use of their TV to show a picture reel. The staff were all very friendly and the nibbles were great. Thank you.

We recently had our works Christmas Party at The Pottery having previously been here for other work occasions and every time it is second to none. The staff are extremely attentive and cheerful, you feel well looked after and never rushed. We were one of two parties from the same employer which caused a bit of confusion at first, but was soon sorted and we were seated and provided with ample amazing tapas fare including a Spanish version of the obligatory Christmas sprouts which were delicious! The decor in The Pottery is always quirky and fun but even more so for Christmas which made us all feel very festive. So thank you Lucia and team, another triumph!

This a fabulous tapas bar with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Every time we go in it doesn’t disappoint. Great selection of food and tapas at inexpensive prices…… nice for a treat or just a can’t be bothered to cook day….. The owners and the staff are very welcoming…. And you can take dogs!!

The service was great, warm and friendly and the food was amazing on the main menu. They had a local band outside called Neovenator and we saw them after our lunch. Highly recommended and lovely mulled wine 🍷

Popped in for a sneaky Thursday date night. Love this place. Excellent service, by both the server and by management. They even prepared a treat, to accompany the bill. Bottle of good Rioja, nachos and pork belly for starter/start the tapas exploration.......followed by marinated anchovies and calamari. Not a fault with anything!! I had a fantastic dining experience at pottery. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying their paella. it's a flavor explosion in every bite. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, making the evening even more enjoyable. Whether it's a special occasion or a casual night out, Pottery is a top-notch choice for an unforgettable meal.

We went to The Pottery for my wife’s birthday with a group of 20 family and friends. The food, party menu, was fantastic, wine, beer and Prosecco were lovely and the staff were outstanding. I guess it was quite expensive, but when everything you get is first rate, then it’s worth it. Never any pressure on us or the group and we were allowed to take our time, mingle with our friends before we sat down to eat. Really accommodating to all mod our requests, nothing was too much trouble. We’ve had many texts today saying what a great evening it was. I’d thoroughly recommend The Pottery as a celebration venue.

The menus advertised no longer exists. It is now ridiculously expensive. £10 for 8 pieces of calamari, the same for 8 tiny pieces of belly pork and the same cost for 5 tiny pieces of chicken. The menu price which was £18 for 3 tapas now cost £28-30. I used to go every few months but will not go back for tapas as it is a total rip off. The table had 2 burgers which were good and a good size but as a tapas bar it is totally not worth it. I will not be returning!

Our daughter had her wedding reception here. The venue and service could not have been better. There are a lot of tables and we were mainly in the outside patio area at the rear of the restaurant which is well organised with many tables and chairs and which suited a warm June afternoon and early-mind evening very well. The theme is Spanish tapas and is very well executed. Our son who lived in Spain for a number of years was very impressed. Not all the items we had are on the regular menu (though we’ve had the normal menu and it is good). The staff were incredibly welcoming both in preparing for the reception, during the occasion and when we collected things the morning after.

We visited the Pottery for lunch as a family having visited before when the menu was limited on Mother's Day. The decor in the main restaurant is beautiful and they have a lovely garden too. The food was excellent and very good value. Good vegetarian choices, too. It's wonderful to find a decent restaurant that's dog friendly- it makes a change from going to pubs. Very friendly service too.

Great for a lunch! Soothing artistic interiors. Friendly service. We tried the veg and chicken burgers- both were excellent. Do not miss out on the sweet potato fries.

Party of 3 for dinner on a Tuesday evening on what turned out to be one of the quietest evenings I have ever spent at the pottery. Perhaps because it was the Easter break? Following on from previous dining experiences at the pottery we opted for 5 sharing platters for the 3 of us followed by 2 desserts. On reflection I think we should have ordered 6 platters. Everything came promptly and the staff, there did appear to be only one server on duty, was lovely.

Family evening meal. Let me start with the positives. The staff were all very friendly and brought us menus pretty quickly. The drinks were good including sangria which was better than many that are served in England. The restaurant is clean and comfortable enough. But that is where the positives ended unfortunately. The food was not good. Patatas bravas was small portion half submerged in a thin tomato based sauce which made them soggy. Tortilla de patatas (spanish omelette) was also served partially submerged in a tomato based liquid sauce. The Spanish platter was pretty poor too. The other dishes we had were little better. Maybe we were just unlucky and went on the “wrong day” but it was the worst Spanish food I have had in uk by some margin and we all left most unimpressed. It is best to forget about the cost of it, too! I wouldn’t recommend the place or go back again which is a shame really as it could easily be so much better. I hope others that choose to go have a better experience.

Lovely setting inside and in the back garden, very welcoming and warm. Booked a table for four after reading some reviews here, the guys loved their feijoada and the trio of meat was very tasty. We were treated with a delicious and well presented dessert. I look forward to return.

Very poor and not not cheap. Just don’t go here except the nachos almost inedible. The kids eats the pasta aswell but the adults food was shocking

We held a family/friends gathering in remembrance of our late mother this month, and The Pottery did us proud. Jackson and Lucia could not have been more helpful in both the planning and on the day. We chose one of the ‘Wake’ menus as an option for the food and it worked perfectly. A selection of tapas bites, Paella and sandwiches was ideal with the staff bringing the food to the guests where they stood or sat in the garden. It was a long and leisurely afternoon/evening, and the food came at a steady and well judged pace. The selection of fizz, sangria and imaginative soft drinks was just right.. The whole experience was as relaxing and friendly as we could have hoped, and we got numerous compliments from our guests about the day and the venue. Thank you and see you soon…

The Pottery in Kingston is one of my favourite restaurants, had a lovely time celebrating my birthday with my family. The food is freshly cooked and always tastes great. The staff are friendly and the manager always makes us feel really welcome. Lovely garden at the back to enjoy summer evenings with a glass of wine.

Have tried out this Tapas place end August on the Eat Out Help Out scheme. Regular prices as on the menu were already upper premium beyond what other places charge. Whilst the food tasted nice, staff didn't really take attention that we couldn't eat all ordered tapas at once; they may have had good intentions, but half of the food was cold by the time we ate it. Most annoying, however, was that they charged £1 more on 4 out of 5 tapas compared to the price spelt out on their menu. Saw it only after we had left. They may have thought people wouldn't realize because the scheme allowed some savings. Getting prices for 4 out of 5 items wrong doesn't look like accidental, with all best will. I like to be charged fairly and not have to fuss about billing at the end of a dinner that is meant to be relaxing. Not a good experience, won't return.

I wish I could say something nice about the Pottery. We booked for 7:30 and by 8:15 we still hadn't been sat down for dinner. No apologies, nothing. The boss is a total waste of space. Avoid.

First time visiting and wasn’t disappointed, Beautifully decorated bar, the atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious, the cocktails were presented beautifully, all the staff were lovely and friendly, really enjoyable night and will definately be visiting again :) thank you guys considering the help out scheme, everything came out quickly and the staff did amazing, appreciate all the effort put in :)

2 of us had booked a table for 7 pm on Tuesday. When we turned up, the retiring was busy and we were looking forward to our first date night since lockdown we were asked if we wanted to sit outside or inside and we said we weren’t fussed. We were told by someone behind the bar to sit on the sofa. There were then 3 other that couples that came in after us, so after 20 minutes I decided to say something. There was some confusion and we were seated straight away. The menu had a good selection and we ordered 5 dishes to share. Something slightly off-putting by the whole experience was that another customer has their shoes off which was visible to a lot of other people sitting in the restaurant and the staff ran around everywhere like headless chickens. The food was to a high standard although one of the dishes still hadn’t arrived by the time we’d nearly finished all the others so I asked. Our waitresses' response was ‘well the kitchen is very busy’. The overall vibe I described as someone’s living room and my boyfriend said it was more or a safe vibe. This restaurant has the opportunity to be great but the service needs working on.

We always enjoy our meals here, a particular favourite of mine is the fish croquettes. The decor is interesting, there's a big garden with a relaxed feel. It's dog-friendly too. Staff are always helpful, I don't know what the bad reviews are talking about!

The food was fine but we have been scammed by paying the full price during the eat out to help out scheme and no receipt provided. Overcharged, but unfortunately only discovered that when I checked my bank account as the total price I was asked to pay was different to what I have payed!

We had booked a table at 7pm, living a short walk away. Due to a broken window, I called up letting the restaurant know we were running 20 minutes late and was told they were fully booked and would only hold tables for 10 minutes.We rushed out, and got there on time, thinking we could fix the issue when we came back but then were held in a queue (all of which had booked) outside till 7.20. Staff said they were busy and we were free to wait or leave... We leftSuch a waste!

Had the most amazing experience here!The service is amazing, along with the food, cocktails and portion sizes!! We got 2 tapas each and a paella to share and it was exquisite. The staff was so friendly and kind and they have the most beautiful interior and outside garden. We had the most amazing time here and cannot wait for go back! Great restaurant decor with a wonderful large garden dining area and attentive but not overwhelming service. The food certainly didn’t disappoint.. good portions, amazing flavours.. no cutting corners with ingredients. I loved the tortilla (traditional with a nice twist) and Albóndigas.

This is a good place to eat. Its much bigger inside than it looks. Plenty of socially distanced space. There is a really nice garden too. The food was good. Lots to choose from. The Nachos were really good.

Our first post lockdown outing was inevitably to this place, and it was a fine night out. It’s a great local asset - Jackson is the heart and soul and has made such an effort to keep takeout and groceries going through the lockdown. Particularly like the albondigas and paella. Good decked outside area for a drink or food. £30 a head for a family including cocktails & wine (for the adults) and desserts.

Especially nowadays where traveling elsewhere is quite challenging, we found a charming place in South West London. If you are day tripping to Richmond Park, plan Lunch in The Pottery. Great food, kind host and an escapism to somewhere else in the Mediterranean. Friendly for kids, beautiful garden and a lot of space.

I returned to the restaurant for lunch after lockdown. Had an amazing meal. The tapas was so fresh and they have an amazing variety of drinks. The staff and owner were so helpful. They are doing a great job at making sure everyone's safe during this weird time. Will definitely be returning for their tapas!

I don’t think they even deserve a star. We booked tables for a leaving-do for a colleague, and it was for 30 people at least. We had a “set menu” as we were told. But the food is not enough for all of us. They gave us platter that looks like good for 3-4 shared by 10 people. and when we requested to have more, the waiter rudely answered us there is more coming. More food came but still isn’t enough for all of us. We paid £20 each + service charge (£2) that is not even good enough (in quality and taste) for £5. plus the fact that the people working there are rude. I suggest you don’t come here. You will just be disappointed.

I chose The Pottery as the venue for my 60th birthday party with 60+ family and friends. The decor with mandalas on the walls and fairy lights provided the perfect atmosphere, and Lucia and the staff couldn't have been more helpful in making sure everything was perfect. Jackson prepared a most delicious Tapas buffet, and Ricardo was very helpful in attending to my guests. Some of my guests indicated that they intend to return with their families, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

The pottery is a lovely quirky restaurant inside with outside seating in the front of back. Our waiter was VERY friendly and helpful as we aren’t from this area so we’re asking many annoying questions. The food was phenomenal, my partner & I ordered many varied dishes but each one was mouth watering! The cocktails are very well though out and lovely, wish is usually a downfall in a restaurant. The facilities are done up to high quality, clean and very quirky - it would be great for a date night or dinner with friends. We live an hour away but most certainly will be back!! Chose this restaurant as it offered tapas and it had been recommended by a friend. When you step through the door you are transported into a winter wonderland or pretty. The place is rather quirky in decor and I am sure it looked all the more spectacular with it being Christmas. Really loved it and a very welcoming atmosphere. We had a drink in the bar then went through to the restaurant which was much bigger than expected, it goes back quite a long way. Had a quick peek out the back and there was seating with blankets but we didn't venture out. We shared a litre of cocktail and chose Richmond Park which was vodka based and really yummy. For the tapas we had prawns, beef and chicken skewers, white bait, meatballs and nachos unfortunately it didn't arrive together and it was a little cold. Not the best tapas we have had but we still enjoyed it. The desserts however, where out of this world and came with fabulous sugar craft on top, we had the banoffee pie and our friends had a chocolate brownie. The service was a little slow and we had to go and get the waiter a couple of times to order dessert, more drinks and then the bill. We paid the service charge but we didn't really feel it has been earned especially as the restaurant was not busy. We would go back again for drinks as the place is so different from other places in Kingston.

We had a 21st party here for our sons earlier in the year, and it was wonderful. I booked it for a party of 6 friends for our Xmas get-together 12th Dec. It was amazing back in May, and it was amazing again!! The food is really good, and you get huge portions. Wonderfully decorated for Xmas too! We visited this restaurant as we like tapas, and although we thought the menu was a bit pricey for somewhere local it did have good review here. Unfortunately we can't recommend this place to anyone who knows and likes tapas. The tortilla option was just 2 small pieces, quite dry and felt liked they'd been reheated. In comparison for the same price Tapas Brindisia does a whole tortilla, gooey and freshly cooked. The croquetas seemed to be potato based rather than the proper bechamel. We also had the prawns and garlic dish, prawns still had the shell on (whole thing, not just the tail which might be excusable). Plus it was over cooked so quite tough. Disappointed with the service too, waiter brought over a screw top bottle of wine and just placed on the table, didn't even offer to serve it. The decor and atmosphere seem nice, but for the prices we were expecting proper/nice tapas and it failed to deliver.

Really nice and cozy inside, the lighting is just dark enough and just right. The menu works, the food is great! Nachos may not be spanish tapas, but they are always so good, so we keep ordering those every time we go. Love the sangria too. The owner is so nice - they really work hard. Looking forward to going back again!

Made two visits there a few months apart. Good casual atmosphere for a family event,good to and the food is excellent too.

Service was attentive and friendly, if a little keen to take the plates away whilst people were still eating (this happened to two of us), however the food was mediocre and far from great value given the cost. Have eaten in this restaurant previously and at the sister restaurant, The Tapestry in Mortlake and have been served better food each time. This was a real disappointment and not sure that based on it I will be going back or will be able to convince our friends to go back either. The lowlights were the meatballs which were about as hard as bullets and bizarrely to portions of Patatas Bravas one of which was as spicey as they come and the other was completely devoid of taste in the sauce. Definitely has lost its edge and given how much dinner for 8 came to I feel very let down

A lovely, quaint tapas bar with very friendly staff who are attentive to what you want and what you want to eat. The food was served very quickly but all the tapas we ordered was delicious. We left having enjoyed a wonderful evening here

I like The Pottery, I have eaten here many times and it used to be very much at the top of my local food places. I do feel, however, that some standards have slipped a little lately. We started with olives which were excellent and had tapas to follow. Most of the tapas were either very good or definitely good. However, the bread was a total joke. It was one of those small frozen white baguettes you can buy from any supermarket for 35p or so. It was also so crispy on the outside that after eating a few pieces my roof of the mouth was scratched. Why would you let a pretty good meal down by something as fundamental as bread? I just don't get it. Furthermore, the wine list is not to my taste and I believe Spain (or indeed Spanish speaking countries) produce much better wines than these. Otherwise, everything was lovely. I'd love them to address these issues and make it a top-notch place once again.

We celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary at The Pottery yesterday, Sunday (Sept 19).

After reading reviews decided to give The Pottery a try. Really wasn’t disappointed. Walked in to a totally empty restaurant! Shown through to a lovely outdoor space where other customers were . Two attentive waiters, nice surroundings and very good food. Menu good selection meats, fish and veg. Perfect size portions for sharing and served fresh and hot !

Not really expecting to find a tapas bar in Kingston . . . but The Pottery is and excellent choice. A very pleasantly decorated, welcoming environment with first class service and excellent food. Going back there for a feijoada on Sunday!

Came here after seeing it pop up on google and thought we would try something different. There is a nice choice of food which some British twists to Spanish tapas. It took the staff maybe a wee bit longer than it should have to take our food order and it took a while for the food to come. All our dishes were very tasty however. Nice place to try

Visited last week. There were only three other tables being used and we were directed to take a seat in the terraced area. Despite waiters ambling around and us trying to catch their eye we were completely ignored and didn't even get a chance to see the menu. After about 15 minutes we decided to leave. Shocking service.

When I was coming out of Richmond park, an heading down Park road, I found the Pottery. My first impression was a nice looking place in an odd position... I however, decided to go in for a coffee! The staff were very friendly and the coffee was great. I sat outside in the back garden which was really nice and cosy, I didn’t have any food, but I did look at the menu and they had some lovely dishes... I shall come back soon, and try the food next time!

My wife and I decided to have our Wedding Reception/Party at The Pottery and the place and crew did not disappoint. We had an amazing party, and it was the stuff of dreams for us. We both wanted a rustic place, a motif that suited our tastes as a couple. After deciding to move our wedding up to this year, we decided to hold it here after remembering the time we had ate there a year prior. The food was good and the venue was absolutely lovely, especially at night. The owner, Jackson Fiorini, and his team were so amazing and so accomodating that almost everything we wanted for our wedding, they delivered 100x better than we could have ever anticipated or imagined. There even was a moment where our wedding cake was slowly looking like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Jackson PERSONALLY took the the task of saving our cake and it even came out more beautiful than it was originally. We can never thank them enough for making our day that special and memorable and we know The Pottery will always have a special place in our hearts forever. Thanks guys!

Had my 50th birthday party here - lovely canape tapas served by helpful and friendly staff, and they'd even gone to the trouble of decorating the area I'd reserved. We had a great afternoon - I thoroughly enjoyed it, as did all my friends.

Given the weight of positive feedback for The Pottery and the lack of good tapas in Kingston, we were eager to try this. The service was good, but unfortunately, I can only rate the food as as average, not worth a second visit unfortunately.

It had been too long since our last visit. No idea why, but tonight just felt like tapas night. Everything was great. Food, wine, service and setting. Highly recommended.

Booked to go here on valentine's day, through the website, which stated nothing about a set menu! We were slapped with a complimentary cocktail before we even knew about the menu arrangements. The set menu was £35 per head, with the added 10% charge (eventhough it was just the 2 of us!). The set menu contained hardly any choice and definitely not what you would expect from a supposed 'tapas' restaurant.

Have gone to the tapas bar for a number of years and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. However the roast pork lunch we had on Sunday was really disappointing...the Yorkshire pudding was flat and stodgy..the meat really fatty and in places tough. I had to send back the roast potatoes as 2were hard. I wondered if there had been a change of management or chef!

40th birthday party for one of our closest friends

Lovely place. The food is outstanding and reasonably priced, the staff are great and the interior is really cool. It's like a mix of a bar, cafe and restaurant. Perfect for a romantic dinner, a party or just hanging out and having some drinks. There's a big patio garden bit out the back as well. I'm really lucky to live just up the road, this is my go-to place whenever someone's visiting.

As always an incredible dinner. Service excellent and food amazing. They even sang me happy birthday. Hands down best restaurant in London. Always looks lovely inside too - decor and fairy lights 👌.

Four years ago, we had my first daughter’s christening party at the Pottery. It was in June and the weather helped us to have it in the back garden. It was such an amazing party due to the food, the environment and the lovely service!
