Great food, great prices, staff are excellent and it has a good atmosphere!! It has a good amount of tvs for watching sport aswell!

Went with a couple of friends recently, we all really enjoyed the food and the staff were also really friendly. Will definitely be visiting again.

My daughter went to use the disabled toilet and got she couldn't use it and she is disabled she went to the other ladies toilet and got told to go out some one said your not a girl I can assure you my child is a girl

Disappointing meal, gravy for steak and ale pie was more like watery oxo if that, Very disappointing. The fish and chips were not fresh, out of the freezer i presume and quite tasteless. I won't be back.

Went for a few birthday drinks, the bar staff were so friendly and helpful. My boyfriend got stuck in the toilet, the staff helped to get him free. The drinks are great and very well priced. Played some pool, had a laugh and had a great time!

Come here once a week and always get excellent service and great food! The staff are lovely and food is always fresh (Steak Pie is so good)

Was here with a very large group after the football. Food was decent and drink prices were good. Service was very consistent considering our table size and there were good sized TVs for watching sports.

Tuesday early evening was chilled and quiet atmosphere. Dinner for family of 3 👨‍👩‍👦 at £30. Good portion sizes and staff are friendly.

I booked in a supporters bus ahead of the League Cup semi final and we were so well looked after. A big shout out to Stella and Becky who couldn't have done enough. I had reserved an area which they made sure we were allocated. The drinks were reasonably priced, the food was cooked fresh and the staff were all very friendly. I'd highly recommend and will be using for future trips to Hampden x

All I can say is I gave three stars simply because it was quiet while my friend and I had a late lunch and thought it was delicious, My choice was their chicken bacon and leek pie, and my friend had a double beef-burger bun which he really enjoyed, We will be back sometime in the near future. John Burns.

I have never had better service in any pub or restaurant. We ordered a Vegan Summer Salad Bowl and there was some confusion over our order. The two waitresses and the chef were so quick to sort it out and give us two well prepared and delicious meals. The service and helpfulness of all the staff was first rate. We were well cared for. We will be back very soon.

Great friendly staff and good value

Arrived about 8.00pm with some friends. Been before that's why we came back. Food was excellent. We all had to catch a bus home at 9.30pm only an hourly service so hadn't stayed long enough to assess over a longer period of time. Staff are very friendly and efficient in this place.

Mac and cheese was utterly vile, it was a radioactive yellow and tasted like straight up mustard and curry powder, not to mention the gimp taking his time sipping on a can of monster instead of serving people. And the cake was dryer than a nuns fanny.

The gammon steak was massive 👌 dog friendly, and the bar staff were class even came back to ask how the food was always a good touch 😀 👌 and dog got water and a snack what's not to like 😁

Have been here many times the service from staff has always been excellent nothing is too much trouble. The quality of food for the price is very good. Will certainly visit again

Friendly staff and reasonable prices but the good on the other hand was just passable z. I got the mixed grill which came out from the kitchen pretty fast. Maybe that explained the cold steak, chicken and gammon. I would not rush back.

Had my husband wake here last week. Has a room that is separate from the main bar which is where we used for our function. Prices are cheap and staff are friendly

Don't Get Mushrooms Pie first of all the pie is two bits of pastries cook without the filling and then the fill is dropped in. I've Never ate anything so bad an I've eaten in a homeless kitchen 🤮🤢🤢 got home and can't get off the bog On a few months and I'm back in the Picture House lovely day and I ate fish,chips and peas. To my surprise the peas were not over cooked as they mostly are in pubs the chips were warm and the fish was a little bit to greasy but beautiful taste. So it you read the first. 4/5 from me this time.

We have been there yesterday for our daughter 16th Birthday. The entire 6 of us were welcomed to the place and staff was very nice and polite. However, the food we ordered was disappointing. 1) Extra burger from the chicken burger was missing, instead we were given a chicken burger with extra slice of cheese. 2) The lasagne was missing chips that we ordered extra on the app. Not to mention it was swimming in oil. 3) Chicken Hunter was hard like a rock and the entire sauce was burned. 4) My stake that I have ordered "very well done" was still full of blood. That's 4 out of 6 dishes done bad. The staff removed chicken hunter from the bill as we didn't want it back and fixed the rest of the orders, but even then the quality of food was far from ideal. Later that day, I felt ill from the food that was served. It's a shame as we paid well over £100 with food and drinks. I feel sorry for the staff member that had to listen to our complaints and take the food back and forward to the kitchen.

Situated at the end 🔚 of the Main street Rutherglen and there is a small parking area. Pub is nicely decorated, TV 's on the walls showing sports. Staff are friendly enough and helpful. Dog friendly, so Charlie was welcomed, even got water and a few treats👍Food and drink at reasonable prices and well presented. If you are looking for a decent pub with decent facilities and staff/ food , you can't go wrong. Would recommend

Amazing high quality food with amazing deals where you can grab a real bargain drinks are priced fairly but the food menu is by far ever way much better than a much bigger better known name near bye.

We enjoyed a great visit today, celebrating a birthday with family, seven of us. We selected a range of starters and main meals across the menu and they were really good, great portions and well prepared. Definitely a great way to spend a Saturday and I will be back, with family and friends.

HAD YET ANOTHER LOVELY LUNCH WITH MY GOOD BUDDY JOHN.TRIED THE STEAK AND CHEESE CIABATTA AND FRIES.LUNCH WAS GREAT AND SERVICE SUPERB FROM STELLA AND MEGAN.

Food was okay but the 3/4 hr wait was to long, no more than 15 people in for food including our party of 5, hate to see this place with 20 people 😡😡

Great pub for a beer food and live sport. Try the fish and chips with peppercorn sauce !

I've been 3 times now and it's been burnt garbage food each time. The pub and staff are decent but the chef seems to be clueless.

Sent most of both meals back. The chef wasn't ready to male meals at lunchtime as he has a delivery, and as a result, our food was cooked in oil that wasnt hot enough. Greasy! No solution was given by the chef

We had not been here for a few years until last night and the set up has really changed and is more chaotic now due to no dedicated restaurant staff, they were dealing with bar and restaurant and there was not enough of them on a busy Saturday night. We had booked a table for 5 and ended up being squashed on a small table. The staff were friendly but run off their feet and we had to go to bar to order food but were given no information about how to order etc when we walked in. It has definitely changed for the worse in here. The food was OK but not fantastic.

We go to the picture house quite often for drinks and the occupational lunch and it was always pretty good but on this occasion the food was barely edible. I ordered an all day brunch and the bacon was so burnt it was almost charcoal...

Bar staff, and serving staff were great ! But unfortunately the kitchen let you down ! Large order which understandably can be challenging at times. No mash as requested with the Sunday roast. Specifically asked for no egg and no pineapple due to allergy with gammon steak dash, came with pineapple on top. Upgraded to rosemary fries with medium well steak - didn't come had to prompt the service staff and then was given a bowl of regular fries. Requested steak medium well as in my experience pub steaks tend to end up underdone. Came out medium at best ! Barely edible and tasteless. No bao buns, no wings. Overall probably not worth the £100 odd I spent.

Great place, first time in here just for drinks and it was lovely, really nice atmosphere, really lovely bar man too.

Our orders of the Hunters chicken and the Lasagne were ok chicken breast was small but mixed with the bacon and cheese ample for me served with onion rings garlic bread and chips the chips were not warm enough the Lasagne was average at best...

My sis and I just popped in for a bite to eat.. we both had haddock and chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce. Food was awesome service 2nd to none. Really friendly and helpful staff..definitely be back.

Need to do something about the heating hardly any radiators on, fire in sports side never on, no heating on landing to toilets then the heating in toilet has never been on. Would be more comfortable to sit and enjoy your drink,food if you were not sitting frozen. Latch on front door broken causing a draft doesn't help

First time in picture house it was very good I remember it as spublic house about 40years ago

Large booking, had to pick different things from the menu as they didn't have enough for 4 of the options. The gluten free meal wasn't good quality and came with non gf fries. Disappointed as we have been going there for years. Sadly it was too much hassle and we won't be returning. The reason give was that it had been school holidays but if that's the case then the food orders should be increased when the demand is high. Staff were very apologetic /slightly embarrassed, have no complaints in that area.

Good portion sizes and good prices. Shame they can't wash the glasses and the cutlery properly. We had to ask for a replacement fork, and two glasses had lipstick on them.

Long time since I've been in here but glad I went great food excellently priced for food drinks ect, hated the upstairs toilet as I do in any bar but we will visit again, yes, the food was that good.

On a trip up from England I came into the venue with my family, I was very pleased with the meal and the way the staff treated my children while there, a big thank you to Chelsea and Conor as they went above and beyond....

I came in for food with my friends and our server Chelsea was absolutely brilliant I will be recommending this pub to everyone.

Used to be a regular but will not be back. Drinks taking 40 minutes to get to you and food was a joke taking almost an hour to arrive. Always severely understaffed when busy
