Very friendly staff and lovely interior but limited and fairly basic vegetarian selection. Very nice chips and fairly reasonably priced, however the so-called "Thai Green Curry" was very disappointing and was not a Thai Green curry: It tasted like Uncle Ben's rice and consisted in chip-shop/chinese takeaway curry-sauce essence added to cream (not coconut-milk), which was therefore far too rich and sickly, and very little else. No lemongrass, ginger, lime-leaves or any of the other key flavours/ingredients where used in the cooking of this dish. What a shame :(

We ate here as the number one TA choice was abandoned. They were very busy, the delightful waitress was rushed off her feet but maintained her good humour. We both had rump steak, 2 for £20. It was great, very well cooked, unpretentious but delicious. Do yourself a favour, pop in here.

We stopped for lunch on a Saturday having pre-booked and found the pub not very busy. We elected to sit outside when offered a choice and were soon seated. Caitlin, who runs the place (very efficiently, it turned out) recommenced a very nice bitter ale and chatted about the food on offer, before leaving us for a few minutes to make our choices. All the food was extremely tasty and we didn’t have to wait long to be served. The prices were very fair, too. This is a gem of a place to which we will definitely return when in the area. Unfortunately it is just a bit too far from home to become a regular venue.

Popped in today for a takeaway after they re-opened and blown away by the renovation inside, it look fabulous. The crepes and waffles are delicious and paired with in my opinion the best coffee in Aberystwyth! .

After having a bad experience once before we thought we would give the cafe another go..... big mistake !! I appreciate times are difficult at the moment but one member of staff taking orders and making the drinks whilst there was at least 10 people behind me waiting in the queue was ridiculous. I was 2nd in the queue and waited 25 mins for 2 coffees and a hot chocolate, the poor young lad was under pressure but was very polite under the circumstances. Unfortunately when I got to my table our drinks were cold , which was very disappointing given the time we waited for them. I will definitely not be returning again unfortunately. Plenty of other places to get better service and a hot drink . I have worked in this line of business for many years and understand how difficult it can be on times, but given all the bad reviews of the cafe it s time to do something about it !!
