Great hearty portions at reasonable prices with almost a whiff of the west country pub about it. The full car park is testament to its popularity and deservedly so!

Great staff and great food . Lovely place all round .

I booked a table for 10 this evening. I was really disappointed after the waitress dropped a whole glass of wine all over my coat, cardigan and the whole one side of my hair, all i ended up with was a free drink. My coat was taken away to dry it, but it still smells of wine and I will have to now pay to get it dry cleaned. My hair was sticky all evening. I understand that accidents happen but i dont feel that enough was done out of a gesture of goodwill. It ruined my experience.

Fabulous service with attentive serving staff. On arrival, greated very warmly and pleasent interactions ref menu recommendations I'm not sure any of us (5 people) could manage three courses, as portions were huge! Very generous! Food was nicely cooked with a good choice of options. Be aware as many staggend levels in the restaurant with steps between each level. We went in March but in Summer months maybe slightly hot indoors as didn't see any air conditioned when we were there. Overall, it was a nice meal and would visit again.

It’s a welcoming pub with self service where you need to pay as you go. It’s an excellent place for comfort food and if you want a massive tasty food plate. It’s a place where you’ll find many locals but also people from everywhere as many aviation professionals know the place.

Highly recommend this place, went there for business as it was recommended by the hosts and it didn’t disappoint! Huge portions, cooked perfectly, lots of sides, cheap for what you got, and loved every bite. Toilets were clean, really nice looking building inside, friendly staff who made you feel welcome from the moment you walked in! Will be returning. I had the mixed grill and it was Devine!

Massive meals, excellent service at a reasonable price. Proximity to Heathrow is an advantage.

Good local place for food and drinks

Was brought here by my mum who recommended this place, we came with my partner, brother and newborn as this was the first time she was meeting her grandson. We came on a Thursday midday to dine for food and we was in the car park unloading a buggy when an Chavy elderly lady come out who must work there and shouted across the car park that it’s 18+ only and when we explained he is a newborn her response was she doesn’t care and it doesn’t matter. Someone needs to train this lady how to speak to people but I guess the old saying you can’t teach an old dog new tricks comes to mind. After being refused entry we called the globe in Brentford and explained the treatment we just experienced, they were very accommodating and gave us a table at late notice. My advice, seems like a much better alternative. Shame on you pheasant for your treatment of people, next time I think you should approach people and get in talking distance and say… “ I’m really sorry but unfortunately we only allow over 18s”. Just saying

Great atmosphere and portions, lots of choice, indoor and outdoor seating

Extremely nice restaurant, we sat in the outdoor area. Prices follow London standards, however, the dishes are very well served and drinks are generous. The architecture and the environment are an added charm, it is really worth visiting. It's a little hidden from the main roads, but it's a gem.

A super experience. Thought it was just a run of the mill Pub (which I do enjoy 😁 but this fine place took it up a notch! Well recommended for sure!

We were passing through after a day at kempton, a family day out for husbands birthday had the best fillet steak, perfectly cooked served with lovely accompaniments (including crunchy not overcooked veg), my sons had the burger, also fabulous. Thank you, we will be back!! (Delicious pinot noir too)

Went with a work group. Very busy and popular place. I had BBq ribs which were very sweet, too sweet for me. The other people's meals looked delicious and everyone enjoyed their food. Great portions and great price. I think i will try the steak next time.

The food it’s pub style, nothing fancy but okay. The best it’s the vibe of the pub and especially the welcoming of the tall blond guy and the other guys from the entrance. Very friendly and kind, well done.

Priced themselves out of the market

Very close to Heathrow airport, a little pub or restaurant is hidden away from the main roads. I went with a bunch of friends for an afternoon lunch. The food was good, with really big portions (like really big), great value too. I like the food personally although one member of the party said the fish and chip (fish) was a little bland. Nice outdoor place to sit and dine. It would be great in the summer when the sun is out, as today was a bit dim and gloomy. Nevertheless, friends, food, and drinks brought joy. On the way out, I couldn't help but notice a sign saying no dogs and adults only!

Steak was perfect. Decided to go here over the hotel restaurant. Good decision. Lively venue was excellent service and meals. Had to wait for a table. But worth it.

You can tell security here don’t like their job looking for any reason to not let you in, overall service in this place was horrible first time coming and never again do not recommend

Unfortunately food was very disappointing. We ordered two most popular dishes: fish and chips and Shepards pie. Fish was tasteless. Shepherds pie was initially cold in the middle. When asked to fix it - it was returned burnt. Mash potatoes tasted like it was made from a packet rather than real potatoes, while lamb tasted as if it was reheated. We also ordered mussels that tasted fishy. Hands down, The best dish was bread with butter.

Been here numerous times, always a buzzing atmosphere and good draught selection. Good variety of food and decent sized portions. Most recently had the Ribeye Steak with Veggies and Baby Potatoes and it was delicious 😋 I only wish they had table service rather than having to order at the food counter.

Brilliant ! Good service & great meals with very good portions. When setting up a tab though they keep your card behind the bar which I was unhappy about & is I think illegal.

We dined in here while we were at the airport hotel for our flight back to Chicago. This was a very pleasant surprise. I ordered the steak and ale pie, and I must say, I think it was one of the best pie's I ate during our trip. Not only was it delicious, but it was a good portion. My wife ordered the prime ribeye steak burger and she loved it. I tried a bite and I agree with her assessment. This place had pretty good food, I'd say better than most of the overpriced places in central London. If you're visiting in London or you live here and are looking for good food, go check this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Best pub meal I've had in ages!! I ordered the vegetable lasagna and it was delicious. The massive serving came with lots of salad and chips. It's so nice to have had decent feed. Thanks guys. 👌🏻😎

Had the chicken roulade. Dry chicken which was hard to chew and swallow, new potatoes stale and greasy. Only saving grace was the veg. Meal was barely warm and a real disappointment. Husband had the pie which was really nice and huge. £2.99 for a tea cup of tea with UHT milk is not what you would expect in a restaurant. Poor.

Excellent all round as usual. I've dined here quit a few times. Always busy (a good sign). Staff are polite and helpful. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. New menu with more choices. I'll be back there soon to try the T bone steak next time. Looks tasty 😋

Firstly I will mention the staff, The staff in this restaurant are amazing, they are polite, helpful and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious, but please beware, the portions are big as well :-) Overall, a very nice restaurant, great atmosphere and amazing staff and food at a reasonable price.

I’ve been to this amazing place a few times now whilst down in London visiting my aunt and uncle. They love this place and it has to be one of my favourite places to eat. The food is incredible, huge portions and always great consistency whenever I visit. Not badly priced either which considering your in London, it’s great value for sure.

Had been recommended this place and when we got there, it was very well done and nice looking, cannot fault that side of things at all, staff were good, took our drinks and food order in good time, cannot fault starters at all, everything we had all looked and tasted lovely, it was the mains that was the problem, 3 pheasant grills ordered ( all 3 steaks were supposed to be differently cooked but were all on the wrong plates) tbh the best part of the meal was the sausage, liver was rubber and too soft, chips not great, for the prices it was a very poor meal, out of 8 of us, only 1 finished, will definitely not be returning.

Very friendly staff. It gets quite busy and it is walk in so no bookings taken. The portions here are just huge. Food quality is ok and the prices are very good. Incredible long menu but they manage well. I would recommend.

Hands down the best pub meal I’ve had. Came here two nights in a row whilst staying nearby for work The portion sizes are incredible and the food is good quality. I’m genuinely sad I don’t live nearby as I’d wholly recommend this to all my mates.

Just been to the pub for drinks on 15th Feb 2024 with friend from Canada, the so called bouncer at the door asked if we are here for food or Just drinks, as casual we said drinks and he refused us to sit on few empty tables. We sat on table of 2 in the corner and had bear and while drinking the same person came to us and ask us to leave the table and said if you are not eating you can’t sit while there were 6,7 tables free on every part of the pub, I felt embarrassed in front of Canadian friend and the bouncer said that THIS IS BY THE ORHDER OF THE OWNER OF THE CLUB THAT THEY NEED FEW TABLES FREE FOR SOMEONE IF THEY TURN UP FOR FOOD.. Embarrassing behaviour, Not sure if I go there again

I did a bit of research before staying at Heathrow to catch a connection. If you stay near terminal 3 go here, the service was great, the menu was great, the place was great, the food was excellent. The starters were amazing; proper old school prawn cocktail, I’ve never seen so many prawns, mussels mariner, was just amazing, loads of mussels cream and garlic sauce half way up the pan, with a full baguette. That was just the starters. We both had fillet steak stroganoff, just fabulous. This was accompanied by a bottle of Villa Maria and a couple of blue moon. We have been together over 30years, it was valentines and the evening was topped by a complementary red rose for my wife!

I am a regular customer since years. Fair prices, quick service and rustic ambient.

Stayed in hotel down the road, no guinness! Got a cab to here, brilliant.

There was a lot of food in terms of quantity but not the best in terms of quality, the staff was very nice and the restaurant itself was quite okay. Prices were reasonable

I met some friends here last night, for drinks and dinner. Prior to that I had no idea that the pub / restaurant was even there. All excellent, with great and efficient bar staff for what is a busy pub. If anyone is staying in one of the faceless Heathrow hotels and wants to get out, I’d certainly recommend it.

This restaurant has so many amazing dishes. The calamari, lamb shoulder and sausage with potatoes were very good! The cider is also delicious!

Great British Pub. Shepherds Pie was delicious and the ale was wonderful. This is exactly the atmosphere and food I was looking to enjoy. I will be back again!

We came here for another good meal on our last evening of our holiday trip. We weren't disappointed, the food was very tasty. We only had to wait a short time for a table, but we were already allowed to drink something at the bar. The fact that there was so much going on speaks for the good quality. If we are in the area again, we will come back.

Been eating here for many years, great food always, plenty of room for everyone both inside and outside. Small but good selection of beer and ales. Lamb shoulder and the steak and ale pie are my favourites. Enough parking at the back if you drive in. Went there after a gap of 5 years, still great food, and the same feel. I am glad it hasnt modernised too much. Boutique pubs are not for me.

Went for Dinner and really loved the place. Quintessentially British Pub food and done very well. Good portions. Really like the outside extension with heated lamps. Looks and feels nice atmosphere. A goid place to meet up.

If you find yourself in the vicinity of Heathrow airport then this place will deliver a fantastic meal. I chose the steak and ale pie on the recommendation of the waitress and boy was I not disappointed it was full to the top of tasty meat, carrots and gravy………and yes I mean full to the top. My friend picked the chicken and mushroom pie which was equally delicious and again full to the top. I would definitely recommend this pub for excellent food

Amazing pub restaurant with large spaces filled with customers. Pies are real pies and enormous, all dishes viewed looked super-sized and quality on our pie and burger was excellent. Good beer and affordable and drinkable house wines. Great find but need to book for guaranteed place if more than 1-2 pers.

Incredible portions great value for money. I would prefer a bit more quality over portion size but that's a personal preference. Lovely surroundings and great service.

Last night I had the best pie I have ever had. It was massive and delicious. I will definitely be coming back, in fact I have come back the next night. Highest recommendation I can give.

Good food. Absolutely enormous meals so either starve yourself for the day or don't have a starter or desert. Good selection of main courses. Parking can be a little tricky, the main car park isn't very big. It's in a residential area so parking on side streets is possible. They do a really good lunch menu as well

If you happen to be in the vicinity, I would suggest giving it a try. However, our experience was not ideal as we were seated outside with inadequate heat lamps. As the afternoon progressed and the sun went down, the outdoor seating area became quite chilly. On the other hand, I highly recommend dining inside the main pub/restaurant. The food portions are generous, ensuring that you won't leave feeling hungry. They offer a wide variety of options on their menu, ranging from traditional pub classics to burgers. Additionally, they have a separate restaurant menu that can be enjoyed within the pub premises if you prefer.

This pub is hands down the best you will come across! Highly recommend - they have huge portions, well worth the money. The flavours are quintessentially English and taste great at every bite. Their entire menu has choices for the whole group and the ambience of the restaurant is lovely. The pub section is also great for a more relaxed social gathering. My fave is the shepherds pie and sticky toffee pudding! They really have thought of it all here. Highly recommend!

Surprised when I entered the dine-in restaurant. Place is super nice. Staffs are accommodating. I will rate the food 4 out 5. This restaurant is great if you want to catch up with your friends or loved ones. As it gives chill and quiet vibe to get together.

Really amazing place not just for the incredible food, the attentive staff but also the unique 19th century architecture. Note the portions are exceptionally large so be prepared and make sure you’re very hungry 😋

Excellent service and staff. Some things are missing, like very few vegetarian options and they won't make cocktails. The atmosphere was nice. We spend around 60 pounds for 2 persons.

I've been there many times before and always happy to go back. The food is amazing every time.

The Pheasant is a large, busy pub with an extensive menu, a beer garden and a welcoming atmosphere. 200m or so up New Road, alongside the Marriott, it's within walking distance of hotels north of the airport, from The Renaissance to the Bath Road Premier Inn. CAMRA lists no 'real ales' - for that you'd have to go west to The White Horse, past the T5 Premier Inn. But they do have a couple of cask beers, and a huge selection of lagers. Both are much more 'local' places to sup or dine than the hotel restaurants.

Brilliant food and a really nice looking restaurant

Had our work Christmas do at the Pheasant today. We were a group of 14. Our group's, orders, drinks and food were served quickly and efficiently and the staff were very friendly and helpful . The food was and great value for money. Portions very generous indeed. Would highly recommend The Pheasant.

I went with a group of 6 friends on the 7th December 23, although it was a very busy night at The Pheasant Restaurant, the food was amazing. Staff were attentive and very friendly. We will visit again in the new year.

The lamb shoulder impresses with its generous portion and value for money. Although enjoyable, the dish became dry once the gravy and mint sauce were gone, highlighting the necessity for more gravy to sustain the meal's flavor and moisture.

Definitely visit this country Pub. Large portions, fresh food, clean, beautiful atmosphere, gorgeous christmas decorations!!! Phenomenal Customer Service by all of the staff!! It was so refreshing. All of the staff we spoke to were so polite, informative and accommodating (Alfie the host who showed us to our table also personally called us an uber back to our hotel as we had no internet on an Aussie sim) Amazing Gentleman at the restaurant counter where we ordered our dinner and lovely bar man and security man. Thank you so much for having us. We will be back and recommend you to all of our friends....ps my photos do not do the food justice!!!! That pie was out of this world!!!!

We visited this wonderful pub, whilst staying nearby, prior to flying out from Heathrow. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions very generous. So much so, that we struggled to finish it. But it was so worth it. I had the steak and ale pie. It was obviously freshly made and was one of the very best I've had. I'd definitely recommend this venue

Sehr schönes Restaurant unnah von Heathrow. Ich hatte ein leckeres Chicken Supreme und ein Bier zu einen guten Preis. Obwohl sehr viel los war, war das Personal sehr freundlich. Von klassisch britischem Essen bis zu eher kontinentaler Küche wird hier viel geboten. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in GB werde ich definitiv wieder vorbeikommen!
