Best value food in South Manchester. If you like authentic Thai food served by an excellent team then look no further. Highly recommended.

The food here is really good and the service is quick too. Went there last night with a couple of friends and everything was delicious. Would recommend this as one of the best (if not the best) places to eat in Reddish.

I had my first visit here on the last Sunday in January and the food was excellent, the meat was juicy and the sauces tasty. I was so chuffed at having found this place that I took my partner there 1st Feb (a Thursday) and ...oh dear. I had the same main course - Duck Tamarind- and instead of a juicy sliced piece of duck, it was dry, overcooked scrapings. The ribs were also dry and overcooked. It was hard to believe it was the same restaurant. On the positive side, the service is excellent and the atmosphere friendly, it helps too that you can take your own wine without paying restaurant prices. I really am hoping the overcooked meat was a one-off as I've heard a lot of good things about this restaurant, I may give it another go though unfortunately my partner is adamant he won't be returning.

Service is tops. Nice food at very good price. Small place so better book a table. You can bring your own booze too.

Wide selection of dishes the tamarind duck is the best Thai dish I have ever tried. I'm not a big fan of Thai green curry but this one hit the spot. The massaman curry is nice as the one I had in Krabi.

So it's not the cutest place, but don't be fooled! The food and the service were amazing. I wanted a soup, and the young man recommended the tom tom soup with chicken, and boy, was it lush 🤌. I then had prawn massaman curry with coconut rice, which was just as yum. Would highly recommend it. Decently priced. Few others brought their own alcohol with them. And a lot of people did come if to pick up takeaways.

The food is amazing and I recommend the ribs they are truly delicious. 5🌟

Just had a takeaway from here ,nice food but for £35 no free prawn crackers and starter sizes were not large either ..disappointed

Had a lovely meal with family to celebrate my birthday, my mums and parents wedding anniversary. Food was really nice that I took a doggy bag home plus more sauce!

We went out for a family celebration for our daughters birthday staff made you feel welcome food was delicious and you can take your own drink they supply the glasses

Our goto place for Thai. Never had anything we didn't like.

We came on a Friday night at around 6 and there were only 3 tables left. I would suggest reservation. Starter: wanton was so crispy and full with stuffing; chicken satay was juicy not dry Coconut soup: sweet and a bit hot Phad thai: texture of noodle was amazing and perfect Fried rice: could be less salty but the favour is so good and had a taste of wok style Chu chee fish: similar to red curry, but its a sweeter one, the fish was deep fried and taste good I didnt bring any wine but I can see many other diners had brought their own wine. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for all thai food lover.

Taste really good …. Properly the same level as what I tasted in Thai’s restaurant in Hong Kong before. Will visit again for sure👍🏼

I don't usually eat Thai food , so this was a first really for me. I took advice from my friends on what to order. We had some prawn style crackers, chicken toast! ( I can imagine Peter Kay saying..chicken..on toast! Not in my lifetime😂). I had some noodles for my main. I quite enjoyed the food and the Brucie bonus was you could take your own beer. It's a very small restaurant, so there seems to be a two hour time limit on the tables. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. 👍

We have used this place a few times. We've used the restaurant and the takeaway. The food is fantastic and the service is brilliant. Really can't fault the place.

Been coming here for a few years now, the place is run by Ben and his mum. They and the other staff always look after you and nothing is too much trouble they are always friendly. The food is really nice always cooked fresh. My favourites are the chicken or prawn phad thai and the chicken and cashew nut stir fry. Many thanks we'll be back soon 😀😎 As a follow up just been again and yet again another beautiful meal. Thanks again 🙂😍

Although the food was lovely found the staff to be ignorant to non regular customers. People who came in after us were served before us. We had to attract a member of staffs attention to be able to order. Food was served quickly after us being ignored for half an hour.

Four meals ordered . Two were lovely but the two chicken dishes were awful. Chicken was tough and rubbery . Tasted as though it had been cooked the night before. Really disappointing.

I am guilty of eating the same meal each time, but the panang curry is the best food I have ever eaten. I have drunken chicken noodles to make sure I’m full and usually for breakfast the following day. I love the food here and have not tasted Thai food this good. Hidden gem ❤️

I've only been in the local area a couple of months but have eaten here twice now and it's been a brilliant experience both times (once eating in and once take away). Sampled a few different dishes; duck, Chu Chee Fish, stir fried yellow curry. so far everything has been delicious and can't wait to work through more of the menu!

Oh dear Baan Phad. I am not sure who has been posting earlier reviews but having just had a takeaway from here I can say it was one of the worst I have ever had. At £25.25 I did not expect to be eating spongy, tasteless 'classic Thai Fish cakes'. The King Prawn Phad Thai was gloopy, lemony and congealed like it had been sat around in a bowl for a few days and the mixed meat Thai green curry was that awful it had a taste of minestrone soup. Having eaten many Thai meals at restaurants, takeaways and in Thailand I am saddened that you feel that these lamentable dishes are ok for public consumption. I will not be ordering again.

Certainly nothing special. We ordered a takeaway during the January lockdown and when I arrived to collect it, it was ready. That’s probably the highlight.The Wontons were burnt, but the rest of the meal was OK. It certainly won’t entice us to go back again

We've eaten in here and from here a number of times and it's always been good food. But tonight we ordered take away and I got the Vegetarian Glass Noodle Salad with Chicken Satay starter as a side. And I have to say it was the best food I've had all year! I should apologise to my Mrs as I didn't look up from it once. So glad we have this restaurant on our doorstep.

Visited Baan Pad Thai once again last weekend, I really can’t rate the place highly enough. Some of the best Thai food I’ve eaten, including during my trip to Thailand!

I recently visited here with my fiance for our anniversary. We had the mixed starter for two, prawn toast, sweet and sour with rice and drunken noodles. The food was tasty, a large portion size and great value for money. Waitress also lovely although we didn't catch her name. Would certainly visit again.

Ben and the team go out of their way to provide AMAZING authentic Thai food at a reasonable price. Their restaurant is comfortable but also they do take out for more lazy nights. Thanks again Richard and Anles

Baan Pad Thai is one of Stockport's hidden gems. The quality of the food is second-to-none and the portion sizes are very generous. You can truly tell that the food is wholesome and prepared and presented with great care. It is a small premises so it is recommended that you book in advance; especially if you plan on going in a big group. If you want to eat great Thai food then a visit here is a must!

I've never actually sat in at this restaurant but have had many takeaways and every one has been excellent. The mixed starter for 2 is a winner and the massaman and panang curries never disappoint. Drunken noodles are also a massive win, nice a spicy. Excellent value for money and absolutely delicious.

Been so busy, not had time to return here recently. More is the pity. Went with four friends last night, the food just gets better. The food is all I want. The restaurant is very clean, staff are more like family, the food is authentic Thai food! We had Sea bass with chilli and lime, absolutely delicious, stir fry prawns with chilli and basil, another with cod, noodles with red curry and a few other dishes to boot. Yes most of us enjoy hot food but one didn’t and had chicken and ginger. In all it was superb if I had to choose, the stir fry prawns would probably win but the sea bass was exceptional with that hint of lime. This is proper food people. Do not be disappointed, book a table as it’s not a huge place and don’t forget to take your own wine or beer if you want a drink. Superb value, and a lovely night out. Thank you.

Visited on Saturday 14/12 for my Mums birthday, I have visited before but never reviewed. The place is very small and this would be my only criticism but in a strange way it adds to its charm! The young girl who served us was lovely, attentive friendly and efficient. We all ordered different starters and mains and nobody was disappointed, the chicken satay is spot on and Massaman curry delicious! Thank you x

We recently booked this restaurant for our works xmas party. The food and service were excellent and it is great value as you can take your own drinks for a small corkage fee. Try it you will not be disappointed.

The food at Baan Phad Thai restaurant is really good, decent portions and at an affordable price. Very good value for money, also for the takeaway dishes. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. When you eat in, the atmosphere is rather simple, but this is made up for by the food. Certainly a place we will be returning to.

The staff are excellent, the food incredible, and at reasonable prices.Since our first trip to Baan Pad Thai we have been going weekly Their menu is simply put, authentic Thai food.
