Lovely location, good service and great food. We had bacon rolls, an egg roll, followed by scones & cakes, all were excellent. Will definitely be back on our next visit to the area.

What a find. The Paperboat is a beautiful cafe situated on Loch Tay. We visited on a gorgeous summers day and sat outside on the balcony. Arrived at 10:30. There was an “event” on (a table full of folk who’d just done a yoga class) and were told we couldn’t get food until 11. Fine, ordered some coffee and waited. At 11:00 we were told that because of the “event” the only good available was a bacon and egg roll. Perfect for a vegetarian… or a cake out the cabinet. Here we are at 11:30 about to leave watching food from the actual menu being brought out to people. They’re probably wondering why it’s nearly mid day and their tip jar is empty… won’t be back.

This gem of a place is sat right on the edge of the loch so the setting is idyllic. But the cake I ate there was sublime. One of the gluten free choices was a white chocolate rocky road and this is what I ordered. It was HUGE ( as were the other (gf & non-gf) cakes - the scones were almost the size of dinner plates). Back to my rocky road though. It was the best cake I have eaten EVER!! It’s worth the journey for that cake alone. Drinks choices were excellent too and the staff were polite and very helpful. Well worth a visit.

Great food, great coffee, great location. We stopped on a warm sunny day and got a table on the decking overlooking the loch. We ordered the dhal, pork & apple sausage roll, and cheese scone, all of which were excellent, and flat whites which were really tasty (though not *quite* as hot as one of our group would have liked). We loved it, and will be back.

Short-staffed due to illness which was totally out of their control however you could still welcome your guests in a friendly manner. Guy behind counter was stressed and bordering on rude and abrupt! Good coffee and interesting and tasty cakes. Have been disappointed several times recently to plan visits and find the cafe closed an hour or more before times advertised online. Would recommend the cafe posts updated closing times on its social media pages on the day if this happens to save people making wasted trips - it’s easy to do.

Lovely clean cafe offering hot/cold drinks, sandwiches, snacks and some seriously tempting cakes - I was unable to resist a cinnamon bun. My son loved the blackcurrent flavour ice cream with the fudge stick. They also offered an assortment of eco-friendly plants growing in unique compost (no plastic) pots. Due to Covid it is obvious the cafe has had to alter their practices so there is no indoor seating but it was a lovely day and they do offer a comfort break and lots of outdoor seating beside lovely Loch Tay. Friendly and welcoming new cafe in Kenmore. Lovely cakes, and very good coffee. Not a nice enough day to be sitting outside, but I expect the verandah area will be well used when the sun is out. Prices on a par with other tourist areas.

New incarnation of lochside cafe, with outside seating. Fresh approach with range of cakes, drinks and lunch dishes. Close to marina, boat hire stations with competition. Large coffee and delisous cake while sitting outside in sunshine. On Bank holiday didn't open until 10am so missed some custom. Great location, nice modern decor and attention to service, toilets also available. Negative point was when I went to pay the server made no mention of the cost nor counted back change - I think this is important especially with no prices displayed and many overseas visitors.
