Went at 2:30pm for a late bite of lunch. It was extremely busy with only one empty table, always a good sign. I had a bacon sourdough baguette which had lettuce and tomato in it with a few crinkle cut crisps on the side of the plate. Quality and taste were great washes down with a pot of tea. My friends had desserts, which were massive portions of apple pie and Black Forest gateau. There was Thai red curry and Beef borguinon on the hot plate that looked tempting. A vast menu was available to suit all tastes and palates. Bright, clean, good service, and food made the visit great.

Staff super cortesi. Piccolo negozio con artigianato locale. Proprio una bella esperienza.

Beautiful setting but food was less than average and overpriced. I asked for no cheese with my salad and they put a salad mix of cous cous on my plate with feta cheese in it 🤦🏻♀️ Really wasn’t impressed as all. I would not recommend.

The driveway has been widened so there is no longer the fear of not being able to pass another vehicle which had prevented me from visiting. We were warmly greeted and had delicious coffee and apple squares looking out at the scenery. There was no pressure to rush, we could chat as long as we liked. There was lots of fresh food waiting to be turned into sandwiches, delicious looking quiches, plus a great choice of tray bakes, so we will return another day for lunch.

My family and I visited on a lovely Saturday morning, lovely setting but unfortunately that is all. In my opinion you are paying extra for the venue and not receiving good quality food. As we sat and waited for our order to be prepared the staff were extremely busy preparing for afternoon tea. We sat and observed the sandwiches being made with Tesco own brand ham & cheese. This is such a shame, there is absolutely nothing wrong with Tesco own brand items but I can purchase these items myself and make my lunch at home a great deal cheaper. This is our second visit, on the first occasion I found the exact same thing with the low quality ingredients (clover margarine & tesco own brand items) but as this was the first few days of opening we thought we would leave it a little while and try again. Unfortunately nothing had changed apart from the fact that if you would like to explore the gardens you must pay £5 per person. This was free on our first visit. On a positive note the tray bakes and cakes were lovely and it is in a beautiful setting with a nice gift shop before the cafe.

Having watched the TV documentary, my friend and I decided to try The Orangery yesterday. The setting is tranquil in very scenic surroundings. Food is as you would expect, mini quiche, paninis, sandwiches, salads, scones and cakes etc. The Orangery is spacious and airy so you aren't bumping into other customers and staff between tables. It seemed the staff were slightly overwhelmed by the sheer volume of customers, possibly due to interest following the documentary, as we were advised to expect a 40 minute wait for food. That wasn't a problem for us as were having a catch up and happy to while away the time, though would not suit anyone on a lunch break. Staff were very attentive and friendly which makes a huge difference. I would definitely recommend The Orangery, but I would advise reserving a table as we did. A few passing places would overcome the dread of meeting another vehicle on the long drive in. We look forward to visiting again.

Goggle maps show Drenagh close to the main A37 road between Limavady and Coleraine. there are some gates there but they are often locked. It is accessed by taking the B201 to Limavady from the tilted roundabout on Windyhill Road and then the big iron gates on the left are signposted. As a previous reviewer has said the driveway is long and very narrow. I was glad not to meet anything coming in the other direction. There is a large car park and the Orangery is accessed through a little shop selling lovely gifts and cards. The tea room is in a bright and spacious conservatory overlooking the delightful gardens and if the weather is favourable you can sit outside. All the staff were charming and helpful. The coffee was good, the raspberry and white chocolate scones not the best we have had. There was a lovely selection of cakes. We will visit again as it is a great place to meet friends for coffee or lunch and not feel rushed.

A lovely spot for lunch on an autumn afternoon. This coffee shop is set in the beautiful Drenagh Estate outside Limavady. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived until leaving. The restaurant is set in a very warm sun room adjacent to a walled garden. The menu is diverse and utilises fresh local produce. We tried toasties, bagels and ciabatta. All were delicious and the coffee was exceptional. A lovely relaxing lunch in a spacious, safe dining area. I visited with elderly people who absolutely loved it. Well done to the staff who attended us. First class.

The Orangery is deep within the Drenagh Estate and there’s only one public route in and same route out - so two way traffic on a route that’s adequate for one way is problematic. There are few places to pass easily - on our way out in our Merc estate car we met a male driving a large white 4X4 - who was adamant to drive on - despite steep upwardly inclined verges both sides - only stopping to allow us to pull in our driver’s mirror as it started to scrape along the side of his vehicle - he was up his verge and we’d moved so far into our verge that on later inspection the passenger-side wheel rims came away scored. The Orangery experience itself was good, friendly staff, good food and we toured the garden too - but the drive out has left us questioning if we’d ever be back. One hopes the Drenagh Estate management find an alternative route out - or provide formal passing places that one finds elsewhere.

This place is on the grounds of a beautiful estate. The coffee was lovely and I had the freshly made Rasberry and White Chocolate scones...they were amazing. The staff were attentive and welcoming. They also serve freshly made sandwich/wraps/salads etc. We sat in the garden and it transports you to a grande tranquil universe........wonderful.

Newly opened, we decided to try it out and weren't disappointed. The food and coffee were lovely. The premises new and bright with views over the walled garden. Following our lunch we went for a walk around the estate, def worth a visit.
