It's so nice to go to a restaurant where you aren't rushed to leave your table! Service was excellent and food was top-notch. Will definitely come back here if we find ourselves in this part of Cornwall again.

The Cornish Deli

28/04/2019: We visited here whilst on holiday and have had a cream tea most days. This was definitely the nicest we ate. The scones were beautifully warm, gorgeous jam and cream and lovely cup of tea. Very pleasant and hospitable staff and very good value for money. Would highly recommend having a cream tea here, you won’t be disappointed and it’s just out of the hustle and bustle too. Thank you for letting our little dachshund sit in the corner too.
23/01/2019: When visiting St Ives in January visitors should be prepared to find many businesses closed until the tourist season but fortunately we discovered The Cornish Deli which would now be my choice anytime of year. The roast beeff sandwich was very good but the mushroom soup was even better. The owner gave great service.

Rest A While Tea Garden

04/05/2019: This cafe is perched above the estuary with the most wonderful views. These are bettered only by delicious crab sandwiches. Scrum!
12/04/2019: I’ve been here a few times before and always try and visit when in Padstow. I walked from Padstow so which is about 2.5 miles but it’s right along the beautiful Canel estuary with stunning views so worth the trek. Today me and my husband had a cream tea and hot chocolate which were both delicious. The views are fab, great choice of fresh food and reasonably priced. As always, a good idea to double check they’re open before making the walk especially!
