Meal was lovely cooked by the chef bryan staff were all really welcoming

Amazing wee pub always brilliant staff with really good banter just ask for what you want on the TV they will help out as much as they can love the smiddy and the staff 10/10👍🏻 😀

Fab wee spot for lunch and was able to take our dogs which was great. Food was amazing and good value for money too. Will definitely be back again in the future.

Increased menu range and no long wait for meals. On a wet Monday night I booked ahead as usually busy. Glad I did.

Love this little pub, always give great service and their standards for food are always amazing. Me and my friends were specifically impressed by our bartender Hamishs hospitality skills, it was obvious he took pride in his job. We will be back for another visit soon.

Was in here over the weekend for some food and drinks, had an amazing time, and felt very welcomed immediately. Sat and had an amazing steak that I later found out was cooked by chef Jake! Would love to come here again and would recommend.

Was in here last week with some friends having some drinks and nibbles. Had an amazing time, and the atmosphere was great, and it was very cosy and warm. The food was great and cokked by Jake, and I would highly recommend coming here if you're in the area!

Laid back, casual atmosphere, clean loos. I was there for a few drinks but saw food going out that looked good. Hamish our barman was fast and friendly. All in all good pub for a casual night out.

Came in for lunch with the missus the other week, staff were very incredibly friendly and a massive hats off to Jake in the kitchen. Was so good we went back for dinner and a drinks a few days later.

Would highly recommend going the old smiddy! If you are looking for a nice reasonably priced meal with excellent service this is the place to go. We were served by roisin when we visited and could not fault her service. Roisin was so attentive and accommodating- nothing was a bother which made our whole experience even better. Thank you roisin we will be back!!

Went to the old smiddy for drinks with the girls and I had a lovely time. The atmosphere was so warm and cosy and the staff were so friendly, especially this young guy Hamish who was very chatty and made us feel so welcomed. We’ll definitely be back.

Went to the old Smiddy pub to get some dinner with friends and was treated with so much affable kindness by staff. My friends thought Hamish the staff member was very friendly. He was even kind enough to give some drink recommendations and helped us by walking us through some of their gin collection. We particularly enjoyed their plum gin and lemonade so we will most definitely be back try more from this terrific pub.

Great wee local pub with amazing food, service and staff. Monday night quiz is brilliant and live music on Fridays and Saturdays always gives the pub a great atmosphere!

Our family come in here quite often, and we love it here. I never have to wait more than a couple of minutes at the bar before being served. Tonight, Robbie and Olivia behind the bar were very on the ball with taking our orders, checking for allergies, and making tweaks to the menu choices for us. When Hamish brought us our food out from the kitchen, he was quick to go back and bring us extra toppings for my wee niece. And Brian was good enough to swap out one of the desserts on a special request. It was all very much appreciated. Thanks guys, see you next time.

Had a great bite to eat and a pint at the smiddy watching the football. Service was impeccable and Jason was the best Batman/waiter I’ve come across in a while. Food was lovely and the free drink with new app was a treat

My partner and I came here for a meal. I had a steak which was nice but the chips were very dry and the peas were overcooked.

What a terrific pub. Went to get a couple of pints and was served by Roisin (not sure of the spelling - think she's foreign) and Liam. Well, not only was the service excellent it was extraordinary. Firstly Liam poured my pint of Carlsberg in a "look away" style-ee, which was enormously entertaining, not least because half of it ended up on his trousers (how we chuckled). And then, to top it off, Roisin "sang" the price to me in an affected falsetto in what I can only assume was her native language - I certainly didn't understand a word of it. To reward them for their highly amusing service I tipped them with a fake 20 pound note - couldn't resist joining in the mischief :-) Can't recommend highly enough.......

Just had a lovely afternoon at The Old Smiddy celebrating my sons baptism. Jason looked after us, and as a party of 16 in a very busy environment he was outstanding! Food arrived all together in very quick succession, and the food was great! Pub grub done right! Well done chef! All in all The Old Smiddy is a wee local gem.

The Old Smiddy is a warm and friendly pub (staff and regulars) with a great atmosphere. Went in with my brother (who lives nearby) for a couple of pints not knowing what to expect, but it is a nice, straightforward unpretentious old fashioned boozer.

We popped in for lunch , they had changed the menu but we went for the fish and chips and we’re bitterly disappointed ☹️ the fish was tasteless and much smaller than usual the chips were limp and lots of black bits we couldn’t eat it both my husband and myself left over half our portion and they didn’t even question it , we eat here at least once every month but we won’t be back again

Great pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I personally prefer it when there are fewer televisions on but I still enjoy a good cosy pint here in the winter months, and outside in the great beer garden in summer. The food is good quality pub grub with a limited but totally reasonable menu. I love this place

Highly recommend this cosy little pub in the heart of Pitlochry if you are stopping through or staying for the night. The food was amazing, generous portion sizes and the staff were incredibly attentive. Didn’t try the cocktails but the menu looked good! The place is also dog friendly!

A friend recommended going early to Hampden Park, parking nearby and eating here. My son and I had burgers and a blender under £18 and they were excellent. The staff were really run off their feet with all the Scotland supporters but still remained friendly and helped us find a seat in a packed pub. It’s a short walk to Hampden afterwards.

Loved this pub, ordered a sausage and mash and a lovely boy called David served me. He was so nice and handsome as well as hard working. His service made my time at the pub that much better.

It had been years since I was in The Old Smiddy. Visited it last night with friends for dinner and drinks. What a brilliant night! Great atmosphere- it really is such a lively wee pub. Friendly staff, good food and the singer was great. I will be back!
