Well worth the impromptu decision to come and eat here again as we had not visited The Old Greenhouse in a while. Nik, as always is very welcoming. We were given the basket of bread and butter. Love the selection, especially the cheese bread. For starters we opted for the Avocado and I had the Parma ham with melon. We then moved on to the Haddock and I Settled for the Pigeon breast. To finish my wife chose the Trio of deserts and I had the selection of Cheeses. For the wine we went for the Cotes de Rhone. I would like to think the picture speaks volumes!! It was as usual very good food. Nik, Sandra and Matt the new waiter all came and sat down after the meal and chatted. Great evening! Great food! Great company! Good luck Matt with your college!

The Woodmancote Pub

28/10/2018: 12 adults 3 little ones. In A small hamlet n the edge of Emsworth along a country road this is a gem. Genuine old pub with add on’s.We booked well in advance table was ready, service with a smile , food good drinks good . This Sunday there was live music in the bar. Great time.
21/08/2018: Quaint, old, charming are all words associated with pubs but it is no excuse not to refurbish a place. Food was OK, service good but it was not so comfortable

Fitzcanes

15/09/2018: During our short stroll around this little town we felt peckish and decided to sit out in the back garden of this delightful little cafe. We were very warmly greeted by the polite and friendly staff which was wonderful. One lady, in particular, made sure that we were nicely settled and helped guide us through the menu. I went for a toasted bap crammed with crispy bacon. Two others in our party had the same baps but stuffed full with sausages. Almost a meal in itself. And the carrot cake was also delicious.
20/10/2018: Just what a Café should be. Friendly staff working as a team, home made cakes and other dishes excellent vfm. Midhurst seems to be struggling a bit with banks closing and empty shops but this café was a ray of sunshine on a wet day.
