The classic London Pub with very friendly service and if you want to taste English beer you are in the right place, but the thing that differentiates it from the others in my opinion is the mural located outside the structure which represents the Simpsons' sofa which is really very cute!! I recommend

I’ve been reflecting on the service I got tonight. I ordered the bitter and it was off. Sour. Gross. Fair enough, it happens. But instead of just giving me a replacement drink, because the pub didn’t have any other beers on cask they charged me £1.50 extra for a replacement pint of lager. So I get to taste an off beer and then pay extra for the privilege of getting it replaced with a beer I didn’t originally want. Completely bizarre and unfriendly customer service. The other bartender is nice though and I bet wouldn’t have been so Scrooge-like, so I’ve put one star.

Ellie the barmaid is excellent, she goes out of her way to make customers feel welcome. She makes everyone feel so warm and welcome when I come into this pub! Everyone needs a ellie!

A proper pub. Quirky, friendly, full of people who can talk to a stranger. You be as likely to meet a student or a Lord. Shame the kitchen is no more.

The pub itself is really nice and the staff are great! Also Churchill, the pub cat, is lovely. The kitchen is closed at the moment but they're happy to have you bring outside food or delivery in. The challenge is that the drinks selection isn't good :( the draft beers are Fosters or Heineken, and the wine was terrible. Such a shame because everything else about the pub is lovely!

Best pub in London! They haven't got a chef at the moment, but they don't mind you ordering in .. note the date things may change.

The Old Eagle is my new favourite pub. I have never been greeted with such hospitality and with so many smiles at a pub. The atmosphere is everything I look for in a pub - charismatic and cozy. Good food, good drinks, just a lovely place to be

This pub was fantastic. We stumbled upon it on our way to Camden Road Station. The ambience and decor is on point. Great vibes in there and its not overly busy on a Saturday evening, which is just what we were after. Just a nice buzz in the air, friendly staff too.

5 of stopped for a meal on the way to see a show at The London Irish Centre,Camden.Proper pub,with great Thai food served very quickly.We all agreed it was the best food we had all weekend and at a great price.Will visit again when next in Camden.

Stopped to take a picture of the Simpsons' couch outside, saw the pub had Thai food and minutes later we had an amazing dinner there! We loved the mix of the pub's atmosphere and the Thai food. And the cute cat sleeping next to us, of course. Lots of vegetarian options!

30/40 year old male behind the bar who is consistently rude to most of the customers most Sundays. Nice pub, nice food. Shame about the service.

I came couple of times to have a beer, really nice vibe and staff. Last time i tried the food they do and it’s absolutely incredible. If you like asian/thai you are gonna love it.

Stopped in for a pint because this place is definitely a pub with <LOCAL> flavour. Friendly with quirky decor. Lot's of fun! Even got to speak to a couple of regulars who had their cat with them!

A true local pub with all the trimmings. A little shabby around the edges, but the staff are great and the beer and cider excellent.

Cracking pub, with a great selection of booze, amazing thai food, and super friendly staff. Rachel is an absolute diamond, and helped me with my girlfriends 30th Birthday. She was so accommodating and ensured our party had plenty of space. I can't praise her more highly, as she helped the night go so smoothly!

I really don’t think I have experienced such rude unhelpful staff in such a long time. The kind of staff you think “why are you working in the hospitality industry when you clearly hate it and are incredibly grumpy”? After trying to order some Thai food, to which the bar man had trouble writing down the actual order and grunted to us “just order by the number of the dish” ? As the dishes came out to the bar area with not real direction of where they were ordered. One dish arrived to my friend and I spot at the bar? Which was an incorrect order?? So instead of trying to work out what our correct order was the staff became ever more blunt and rude and then started calming “that’s what you ordered “ when clearly it wasn’t. To top it all off they refused to refund us for a meal we never ate? Then continued with their idiotic reasons on what we ordered. The sheer irony when we did leave in a very dull mood - the waitress came out and call our correct order. Avoid like plague - unless you enjoy rude service and being ripped off!!

I love this pub, cat and dog friendly, bar staff are the best. Great food. Only downside is that sometimes its cold, no one wants to sit in a cold pub.

This is a very nice place with a classic and quirky pub atmosphere - interesting items all over the walls and ceiling. It also serves very good Thai food. The starters especially are superb, and the mains are great and well-flavoured, with lots of Thai classics among them. The people are great and away from peak times, it is a really peaceful place to relax and pass some time.

Wish I'd tried it sooner. Last time I was here it was a sparse and unwelcoming, cold pub. I had a nice weak pint of Harp. That was 30 years ago. Today I'm here as it seems the only pub within a mile that's actually open on a weekday afternoon! Super find. Local pub layout with comfy benches enhanced by cushions. Beaut. stained glass lean-to leads to outdoor veranda for smokers. Greene King associated pub but had St Austell Tribute on cask for a fiver. Friendly and engaging barman. Lots of daylight as whole corner is glazed. Not for sport or music fans but a great spot for a relaxing pint or two. Will make it a regular stop-off.

If you want a cosy pub with a great atmosphere, lovely staff and amazing food with more than reasonable prices this is the place to go! I have been here a few times now and I had my birthday dinner there on Friday. The food never disappoints and everyone I have brought along always LOVES this pub. The service is great very friendly and warm staff, on Friday night we had Rachel and Aiden at the bar and they made the night even better - so thank you especially to them!

I am so happy about this find ! I didn't even know such affordable drinks were even still available in London. All the staff were so amazingly hospitable and smiley and accomodating... And the food. I've spent a lot of time in Thailand and I was blown away by how authentically delicious the food was. The chef is a wonderful lady and just amazing at what she does. I have left feeling full, satisfied and extremely happy

The best Thai food I've had in London. The pub itself is also quite nice, and super friendly service. Not a big beer selection, but they have a couple of ales.

THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING AS THEY MAY CANCEL IT LAST MINUTE!!! This happened to us just now and we need to cancel the whole event / turn back guests despite making the booking few days in advance.

We went to 20+ different pubs to find somewhere for the euro finals without a booking. This was the only one that had a place! Great atmosphere. Love this place.

I came here for drinks and food. I asked for an IPA which was very different from regular IPA, very watery and no bubbles at all, so I told the waitress (a young blonde girl) I didn't like it and she very bluntly and told me it wasn't her problem and that I shouldn't have ordered it. The rudest waitress I've ever encountered. Food was good though.

One of my favourite places in Camden, great Guinness!! LGBTQ+ friendly and dog friendly - this hidden gem is a lovely spot to have a drink and enjoy some Thai food. Staff members are lovely and friendly and the pub is just so beautifully decadent and cozy. I can recall having a blast pre COVID with their acoustic live sessions and also I loved the great vibe by the DJset with loads of old school tunes on 7” records. 100% worth it.

Great Thai take away during lock-down and lovely pub for a drink and Thai food when we are allowed! Really good home made Thai fish cakes and authentic Thai food with plenty of options for vegan, vegetarian, fish and meat eaters. Also spicy and not so spicy.

This has to be my favourite pub. There is nothing to dislike about this place. It’s a proper pub with a great interior. The staff are amazing, always making you feel welcome and go the extra mile. The food is very good. The quality of the beer is up there including a great pint of Guinness. Don’t miss checking this place out.

I really love this pub! The guys running it are characters and the pub itself has plenty of character to spare too! Would hiiiighly recommend getting the Phad Thai as well, it was extremely delicious.

Never hated the place. I think it's bang on

Could have been a nicer experience if the staff made a little more effort to be welcoming. A cat eating on the bar is extremely off-putting and I am sure this contravenes city health and safety rules as well!
